Briefly tell us about your main character. Next, if your character were on a social media website such as Facebook, tell us 3 things your character might "like." Remember: Likes can be interests, hobbies, organizations, movies, etc. etc. Briefly explain why your character would like each.

Make up Blog

This is due by 3:30pm on Friday 11/21. 

Answer the following question:

How did the main character change in your book? What were they like at the beginning and what were they like at the end?

In your answer you must cite evidence from the beginning of the book that shows what they were like at the beginning AND cite evidence from the end of the book that shows how they have changed. 

This means you have two quotes from the novel in your answer in addition to your explanation of the change. Your response must be at least 5 sentences and you must comment on 2 classmates posts.

This week I want to know about the main character in your book. 
What is he or she like? Describe his/her personality. How does the author Characterize them? Give one example of the STEAL that we learned in class and tell us what Character traits are present in your character. Are they stubborn, snobby, compassionate, positive, etc.

Blog #4 Due: Monday 9/22/14

Remember to post your book's title, author, and page #.
Choose two to three characters from your book and very briefly tell us who they are.
Then tell us what actors/actresses you would want to play the parts of the characters in your book if it were to be turned into a movie (you must choose famous people to play the roles). Include an explanation of why you chose each actor/actress.

If your book has already been turned into a movie please choose new actors/actresses to play the roles of your characters. Ex. If you are reading Twilight do not tell me Taylor Lautner should play Jacob.

Almost all fiction authors have to do some kind of research before they write their novels. For example, JK Rowling might have researched historical sites in London and different creatures from mythology. Suzanne Collins, author of The Hunger Games series, might have researched different types of weapons or survival skills. The author of Twilight researched Native-American traditional stories.

Tell me something that you think your author researched before he or she wrote your novel. Explain why you choose this (how it relates to your novel). Your response must be at least 5 sentences.
