I am reading Hideout by Gordon Korman, and I am on page 7. The main character of my book is the same as my other book. I think Griffin, the main character, would like to go to Germany because that is where Luthor is from. He is a Doberman Pinscher. That's where it hink Griffin should go.

I just finished my book Football Genius by Tim Green. Troy is the main character in my book who doesn't know where his father is. I think that if Troy could travel anywhere in the world, he would go to Chicago. This is because that is where his father lives. I think that if he got the chance, he would want to see his dad and see what he was like.

I am currently reading The Last Apprentice Revenge of the Witch. I am on pg.40. The character in the book I pick is Gregory because he is dark, loves spookiness, etc. A place Gregory would like to go is a place full of spirits and Halloween type things where he can find his favorite things to do.

Yay, i finished my book!!!
OK, so my book was "So Far from Home" by Berry Denenberg.
I'm going to choose my main character Mary Driscoll, and i know she would love to go to her home land Ireland. One, she always talked about how she wants to see her "ma and pa". Two, she would say how she missed her friends and family, also the mill girls were mean to her so she wanted to go home.
The sad thing is, is that this "diary" is dated from the first of April 1847 to November 7th 1847, this "diary" is only a few months of Mary's life. The last two sentences on page 142 says, "Mary Driscoll died in the cholera epidemic of 1849. She was seventeen."

emasio6 ~ I bet he would too!

TJohnson4 ~ In hopes to find his dad, cool!

I read the book Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins and I finished it. The main character is Katniss Everdeen and she enjoys hunting and other outdoor activities. If she could go anywhere in the world I think she would want to go to Russia. I think she would like it in Russia because there are a lot of woods and open space. Katniss would like to be there so she can hunt and she doesn't really like people, this means she could have alone time.

But it was unfortunately lost to the alien race he and the UNSC are fighting the covenant.

I am reading The Fast and the Furriest by Andy Behrens and I am on page 20. The character I pick is Kevin. He hates sports! I think he would want to go to China because they don’t have as much privileges as we do in the United States. He doesn’t like sports, so that’s why I think he would travel to China.

I have just finished the book "Steel heart" by Brandon Sanderson. The main character is David, who seeks revenge for his father. Davids dad was killed by an epic. Epics are people who, unknowingly how, gained powers. David has dedicated his WHOLE life to become an expert on steel heart so he can one day kill him. I honestly don't think David would travel anywhere if he could, but he would more likely travel back in time to spend more time with his dad. He would love to spend more time with him, and be able to fully appreciate it.

The main character is esperanza if she could travel anywhere it would be back to Spain.
It would be Spain, because she and her family had to run away from Spain.
Also she has a lot of family and friends there.
She also has her dads farm that she had to leave behind when she ran.

If Andy could visit anywhere I think he would want to go to a city where he can go to school. Andy’s dad doesn’t want to move to a city so that’s why they still live in the everglades. Andy talks about wanting to go to school where he can learn and meet new kids so that’s why I think he would want to visit a city the most.

I'm reading The Rule of Three and i'm on page 402. The Genre is realistic fiction and it's by Eric Walters. I choose the main character Adam and have him travel to Chicago. I chose Chicago because that place is where his dad is staying at during the whole electricity crisis. His father is over there for a business meeting. Also his entire family which includes his baby brother and baby sister, along with his mother wish their father can come to them or they come to him. Another reason I chose Chicago or where his dad is at is because Adam mentions or thinks about his father at Chicago and how they are going to meet or communicate with each other. At least once that his family members mentions or talks about Adam's father and if he will be okay.

rcortes5: Good summary but not five WHOLE sentences.

amountain4: I can't wait for the movie to come out and great summary.

The book i am reading is darksiders, the abomination vault and i am on pg. 36 and the author is Ari Marmell. The character im choosing is named death and i would think he would like to travel to some place evil, violent, and dark. I think that because he's already evil, dark, and violent, so he'll choose a place to match him. He would want a setting to match his personality, i doubt a dark, evil, violent man would want to be in a place with flowers, and teddy bears. So a perfect place for him would be something like the underworld, scary, dark, evil, violent.

The main character is the character I pick in this book. His name is Will West. If i were to thin of a place he would want to go i would be somewhere safe from the police and the people in the black mustangs. The reason why i choose this place is because he can't shaw these people off his trail. If this book sounds interesting to you, you can read it.

I am reading “How My Journal Became a Bestseller” by Julia Devilers and I’ve finished the book. The main character of my book is Jamie. If Jamie could travel anywhere in the world, I think Jamie would travel to L.A., California. Because first of all, she is a bestselling author. She hangs out with a lot of celebrities and in L.A, she would be able to meet a lot of celebrities, and other authors. She could share ideas with them. In addition, she would be more comfortable to move around doing interviews and writing other books. Therefore, I think Jamie should go to L.A.

The book I am reading is “The Heartbreak Messenger” by Alexander Vance, I am currently on page 42. My character’s name is Quentin. He is the heartbreak messenger. They call him that because he breaks up with people, for other people that don’t have the heart to do it themselves (for money). If he could travel anywhere in the world I think he would like to go to Paris. Since its “The City of Love” maybe he will find love there. Considering he can’t find love anywhere else. This is where my character lives in the book but currently he is stuck in priestown. The reason I think he would go back to Chipeden is because in Priestown he is facing a creature called the Bane which is currently trying to kill him. Blog #7) I am reading Endangered by Eliot Schrefer and I’m currently on page 146. If Sophie (main character) could go anywhere in the world it would be back in Miami with her dad because a civil war broke out Congo while she is visiting with mom. But she misses the UN van that was picking up US citizen to evacuate out of Congo. So her only other option is to get to her mom who is letting Bonobos (type of monkey) out in the wild. But she is limited on clean water, so she needs to cross half the country without getting shot and killed by the rebels.

The book I am reading is Loving the Bad Boy by Lisa Demes, and I'm 50% through it. One of the main characters is Emma Miller. She is the good girl of the school, but she is very sweet and caring. Quite recently I finished the book “Take Me On” by Katie McGarry and if I could choose any Character I would have to choose Haley, because in the beginning the only thing she wants is to be back at her old home, because they had been thrown out of their house and were forced to live with their cousin Jax’s father, who was a horrendous person in general. All Haley wants is a place she can ‘fall’, a place she feels safe, and she feels like she doesn’t have a safe place anymore because they don’t live in their old house and since she quit kickboxing her grandfather, John, doesn’t really want her to be in his gym anymore. So all she is searching for is her safe haven, and she would find it if she could go back to her home.

He does know how to fight as well so he would be able to protect himself. Plus, his robes would feel very comfortable in that climate, plus he likes beaches so he would love it there.

Also I believe it was the last family time that they spent together before Will, Toby, and his own dedeparture for the U.S. Military, where last year Toby passed away, and now Will from a gun shot wound to the lung.

I am reading Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz and I am on page 5. The main character of the book is 14 year old Alex Rider. If Alex could travel anywhere it would be London, England. Alex would want to travel there because that is where his uncle Ian Rider lived. Alex and Ian were really good friends, they did a lot of things together.

I am reading Smiles to Go by Jerry Spinelli and I am currently on page 9. The main character in my book is named Will Tuppence, and he is a science nut. I have'nt learned much about him yet, although I think he would enjoy going to Shanghai China because the people there excell in science. I think he would very much enjoy it so he could gain more knowledge.

I am reading “copper sun” by Sharon M. draper and I’m on page20. If Amari could go anywhere I think it would be somewhere where she could be free and at peace. She’s a slave who was born into slavery so she doesn’t have many options. I would think that she would want to go to Paris because it’s a place that she can get away from all the bad things happening to her village. Amari would go somewhere where she is not judged or sold as if she was meat or looked at as if she was an item rather than a person. She needs a safe haven.

I am currently reading Cinder: the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer and I am on page 112.If Cinder could go anywhere she would go anywhere but new Beijing. She would want to leave because her stepmother is very mean. Another reason she would want to leave is because there is a really bad disease that affects androids.

I finished The Titans Curse by Rick Riordan. I will be comparing this to the battle of the labyrinth by Rick Riordan. A comparison is that they both have the character Tyson who builds Percy OR rebuilds Percy a shield. Another compare is that they both messed up a part of a school in one day. A contrast is that Grover did not have a girlfriend in the titans curse. The last contrast is that the Titans curse starts on the last day of school. But the battle of the labyrinth starts already in the summer before school starts.

amoskalenko5 said...

I finished the titans curse by Rick Riordan. If he can go anywhere in the world I think he would go to his home. He is always at camp or off saving something. His mom is always worried sick about him. I think going home would let him relax and spend time with his mother.

Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag by Oliver Bowden. I am on pg.20. The character in the book I pick is Captain Edward Kenway. He is an assassin trained by pirates. He sees the Templars as enemies through his eyes. If he could travel anywhere in the world it would be England because it’s where his wife lives. That’s where he should go.

I have currently been reading The Maze Runner by James Dashner. I am on page 12. The main character is Thomas, he woke up in the lift and the only thing he could remember was his name. He arrived outside with a group of young boys. If Thomas could travel anywhere, he would probably want to travel to the other side of the maze. He would want to do that because if he made it there, then he will be free again.

I am reading Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. I am on page 28 and the main character right now in the book is Percy Jackson. Percy goes to a boarding school because he has gotten kicked out of all the other schools that he went to. I think that if he could go anywhere in the world he would go to ancient Greece. I believe that because he understands greek and he loves learning about Greek mythology.

emasio6: You had a spelling error, but other than that great job.

I'm reading Fallen by Lauren Kate , I'm on page 26. Daniel Grigori is a mysterious boy so the place I would think he would travel would be Spain. Because Romeo and Juliet was there and at some point someone unlocks a secret or Las Vegas because what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Daniel is very secretive and that's what catches Luce's attention. "There's something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori".

The book I am reading is Wereworld Rage of the Lions by Curtis Jobling. I am on page 150. My main character is Drew Ferran, the last of the werewolves, son of the deceased king Werger and heir to the throne. However he was not raised in the palace due to the fact that the current king Leopod killed his family. So a servant took him in and raised him on a farm. If Drew could go anywhere in the world I think he'd go everywhere. He is a outdoorsman and he is very patient and thoughtful. He'd like to go somewhere where he can see the moon clearly though. He's also adventurous so he would fit in almost anywhere.

I'm reading Taken by Edward Bloor and I'm on page 20. Charity is my main character, a teenage girl from a wealthy family living in 2035. Right now I would say that Charity would like to travel back home. I feel Charity would want to travel to her home because she's been kidnapped and is missing her family. Although Charity is not too far from home, but is unsure of where she is, and would like to be back home in her large nice house with her family.

The only thing is that he is not very good at basketball, so his friend from football helps him. If he could go anywhere in the world, then he would go to a basketball training camp with a professional athlete because he wants to get better at basketball and meet someone famous in the proccess.

@JPerkins5 it sounds like an interesting book.

I am reading the Power of Un by Nancy Etchemendy and l just finished reading the book. The main character of this book is Gib and he has the power to turn back time and change things from the past. If Gib could go anywhere, he would probably go to Paris because that's where his mom lives. His parents are divorced and he lives with his dad in Florida. In the book, he travels back in time and tries to stop his parents from getting the divorce, and things get a little bit out of hand. Going to Paris to see his mom would be amazing and a great experience for Gib.
