the book I am reading is hatchet by Gary Paulsen i am on page 17.The question i would ask is. why are almost all your books about survival situations? Does survival mean something to you is that why you right them? Those would be my questions for Gary because I am wondering if anything ever happened to him that makes him write survival novels.
dblair6.....
sounds like a good book.
I amd reading The Hungar Games by:Suzanne Collins i am only on page 15. one question would be why does the families cat hate katniss?my second question would be, why would they want kids to fight to the death? My second confuses me the most. why whould anyone want there children fighting ever it makes no sense. there isnt anything good that comes out of that!
I am currently reading Taken by Edward Bloor. I am on page 35 and have two qestions for the author. My first qestion is why did you start after she got kidnapped not just before so you new more about her in the beginning. Another qestion is when she is taken why does she say how could they let this happen to me. She is talking about her butlar and cooker, but how is it their fault.
Dblaire6 Just letting you know you forgot to capitalize the in the first sentence.
Gparent5 i read that book, i am now on the third their pretty good books.
nhamilton2 that was good
I am reading the book Re-Vamped By Sienna Mercer. One question I have is how did the sisters know they were related? The reason why I ask this question is because in the book the author comes straight out and says “I think you are my sister.” Another question I have is do they ever actually live together? They are sister s so you would think they would live together.
gparent5...
Gurllllll....grammar lol
nhamilton2...
great job
smwilliams2 that sound like a good book i might have to read that :)
The book I just finish reading is called Hide and Seek by Katy Grant. I just finish reading and two questions I have for the author is why she named her book Hide and seek. Also does she does geocaching and is that what inspired her to write this book. The reason I asked these two questions was because for my first question the book doesn’t have anything to do with the book except for the parts with geocaching. And for my second question was because it had a lot of information about geocaching and it seemed like somebody had known everything about doing it. This book was very good.
The book i am currently reading is called Trouble Twisters by Garth Nix and Sean Williams i just began reading it last night and iam only on page 2.If i could ask the aurthor(s) 2 questions the first would be do you write any other genre besides this one and what is your favorite book that you've wrote why? i just wanna know
nhamilton2 that sounds good.
dblair6 that sounds like a good book
I am currantly reading the hunger games.I am on page 113.The author is Suzanne Collins. If I could ask her two thing they would be what inspierd her to write this book because it is very detailed and well thoght out. The second thing would be what book will she write next, beacuse i like her books and i would like to know what the next book is.
The name of my book is Saint Louis Armstong Beach by Brenda Woods. I am on page 6. One question I would ask her would be wha t made her write this book? Another question I would ask is was she from New Orlenas or connected to it in anyway or form? I would ask her this because this book is about a young boy Louis, who is going through Hurricane Katrina all by his self with a neighborhood dog named Shadow.
The book I am reading is The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan. I have not started reading the book. The question I will ask is "Why is this book have greek mythology? and why do you write so many books. This would be my questions to the author. Its awesome.

@dblair6 good book
@abroughton6 good book
I am currently reading Dark Life by Kat Falls and I am on page 91. If I could ask the author any two questions, one I would ask is where did she get the idea for this book? I would ask this because it is a strange idea to think of writing a book about people who live underwater and have livestock. I would also ask where she got the idea for “Dark Gifts.” A Dark Gift is a gift a child born underwater is suspected to have, like communication with sea life, see in pure darkness, turn invisible and use echolocation. I would ask this since I don't understand where she got this idea.
My book is "The House of the Scorpion." The author is Nancy Farmer and i'm on page 2. The first question i'll like to ask is why is the name "The House of the Scorpion", why not just "Scorpion House". My other question is what genre is this book. I can't figure it out by just looking at the cover.
Jclark2- You did a good job with the blog!
Nhamilton2- That sounds like a weird book.
@zotto5 thats a good book to read.
@human05 that a great book and i think everyone that has read it can agree!!
I am reading currently butt wars. the authors name is andy giriffy.I just started this book 1 minute ago but it seem good.I know that it sounds funny but boy... I tell you its funny . The question I wanna know is why did you name it butt wars.

dblair6 Good job
cwalker5 good job
Awilson6 i bet it be awesome girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am currently reading the book hatchet. This book is wrote by: Gary Paulsen. I am on page 54 out of 213. I would ask the author: how did you come up with this books story line? It was crazy and twisted. I would also ask them why did you put so much detail in the crash? I was nasty the way they explained it.
that was a nice comment dblair6.
that was a nice comment dblair6.
I just started the book The Chronicals of Valdimir Tod Eighth Grade Bites. This book was written by Heather Brewer. If I could ask the author two questions about the book one would be why did Vlad's parents get bannished. I would ask this because it is indirect on the reason, it just says that his parents burst into flames. Another would be what is the genre of this series as a whole.
awilson6 that was a great post.
tnichola6 Good job on your blog this week!
nbrown5 it sounds good
awilson6 Does the book and movie relate so far?
I am finished with Wesley the Owl by Stacey O'Brien. This book was a true story about a biologist who gets a 4 day old Barn Owl that she raises. I would ask Stacey O'Brien what her favorite thing about Wesley(the owl) was. I would also ask what were the names of the hamsters she keeps as pets not as food for Wesley specifically the hamster she rescued with CPR . I want to become a biologist and I think this was the best book ever!
smwilliams2....
i know my grammar sucks lol!
smwilliams2...

bsammel5 . . . .
that book sounds very interesting! i would have to go look in to that book.
gparent5 . . .
i know ur grammer sucks but good blog.
The book I'm reading is Matched by Ally Condie. I JUST finished the book. If could ask her 2 question the first question would be "Why did you pick these names?". I would ask that because the book has some unusual names like Xander, Casia, and Ky. The second question would be "How did you decide who Cassia chooses? Did you have it all planned or you just went along with it until you knew?". I would ask this because i was unsure who she chose until i was completely done with the book.
2dblair6
Nice ;)
@nhamilton
Awesome :)
the book i am reading is the resisters. the author off the book is eric nylund. the page number i am on is page 8. my first question would be why did u pick ethan as a name?, i ask because his name doesnt really fit his character in the book so far. my 2nd question is why is the title called the risters?, i ask because the covers has insects and there in battle uniforms and we are talking bout football in the book so far
tinichalo6
u have a good boook i want to read it
tcole6
i like your book twell me more bout it
The book I am currently reading is The Test by Peggy Kern. It’s a good book so far and the page number I am on is 46. If I was to ask the author two questions about this book is “why did Liselle feel so down about herself “? Also I would ask “how did Liselle be able to go through all that wen she was pregnant a 16 “? I ask these questions because Liselle seemed a good person but she just didn’t carry herself right wen she was younger and she felt more good about herself wen she was younger but wen she go older she felt bad.
I am reading the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and I’m on page 200. If I could ask the author two questions one would be “Why would you decide to write a book about kids killing each other to survive?” I think it’s kind of twisted to write about kids killing each other and why would she even sit and think about a whole plot based around it. The second question I would ask her would be “What made you think about America becoming ruins into a much less civilized place?” The way they divide up the classes and what they work with isn’t civil and they don’t really have a chance to get into higher classes.
I am currently reading Mody Dick by Herman Melville. I am on page 16 of this amazing book.
If I could ask the author two question about this book, the first one would be why you named it Moby Dick, because of the second inaporbeat word. The secound question would why you started the book with "call me ishmael." because thats not usally how you start off a book.
dblair6
I've read that book before.
ccummings5...
I am reading the same book.
akinney5
Youhave grammar errors in your post.
I am reading Gone by Michael Grant. I am on page 15 and I really enjoy it so far. If I could ask the author of Gone two questions one would be how did you learn to write so amazing because I love this book a lot. The second question would be where the setting for this book is because I know they live on a beach but I don’t know which beach. Over all this book is really good and I can’t wait to keep reading.
ccummings5 - sounds good
twithers 5 be more decsriptive
The book I am currently reading is Dark Life By Kat Falls. I am on page 21. One question i would ask the author is what is the purpose of the book? because I want to know why she would write a science fiction book out of all of the genres. Another question I would ask is are these characters normal? because it says that one of the characters glow.
nhamilton2
I like your post! it was really good!
gparent5
I love that book! Your post was really good!
The book I'm reading is The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan. I am currently on page 440. One question I have for the author are why doesn't Annabeth have special powers like the others? The second question is what does charmspeak have to do with Aphrodite? My reason for these questions is just because I think Athena is great enough for her kids to have powers like Poseidon's kids can breathe under water and do other water-related things. Also, I don't know what charmspeak has to do with the goddess Aphrodite.
@kcarnes6
Your book sounds good.
@awilson6
I love that story!
My book is The Son of Neptune, the author is Rick Riordan, and I am on page 107 out of 521. If I could ask the author two questions, one would be, "How did you learn about Ancient Rome and Ancient Greek Mythology. The other would be, "Why are you so interested in mythology. I would ask him these question because he seems like he knows everthing about mythology.
@dblair6 good job BRO!!!!!!!!!!!!
@gparent5 awesome!!!!!!!
I have just finished the book Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. How did the colonies get to there current state? Why do these kids have to fight to the death so they can survive in the real world? To me it dosnt make sense but it was a wonderful book. I am asking those questions because they seem unreasonablecauses.
gparent5 I have read that book and good post
dblair6 That book was amazing you will like it and outstanding post.
The book that im reading is Alice and wonderland. Writen by lewis carroll and i am on page 33. If i could ask the author any two questions i wanted they would be, one how did you come up with such an insane story like this one. And two would be why dose alice cry so much in the begaining of the story.
dblair6
good job on your post this week.
gparent5
good job on explaining the WHY part of your questions.
I am currently reading Found by: Margaret Peterson and on page 134. If I could ask the author two questions they would be why did you pick this title and how did you come up with this story. The reasons why I would ask the first question is because the title is Found and I think something like letters would make more sense, since they keep getting letters. The other reason why I would want to ask the author how she came up with this story is beacuase it’s really good and I wanted to know how you could just think of this.
gparent5 I agree with your second question having kids fight to the death is crazy.
eyakel6 good job explaining
The book I am reading is Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen. I am on page 76. My question would be why does Bryce hate Juliana's eggs that her hens lay? Why is Bryce scared to talk to Juliana at first?
llambert6 good job on your blog.
IRivera2 I finished that book also.
I am currently reading the old Willis place. what author of this book is Mary downing hanh. I am on page 22. if I had to ask her a question it would be, why would she put a little girl and her brother in a position like that. also would be why would she make the little girl ask her new caretaker to help her.
@ dblair6 good book.
@Jclark2 good post
hey, the book I'm reading is Dark Life, by Kat Falls. I am currently on page 64. The first question I would ask Falls is how did you get the idea for this book? The reason I would ask her this is because this book is filled with interesting, yet creative settings. Another question I would ask her is have you ever dreamed with this before you wrote the book? I choose this question because this book is almost something I would have dreamed about as a little girl.
@mruvio6 haha yeah malina I know where you are comming from. I've often read books that don't match their title what so ever.
@kkey2 I don't get why they would make a girl be a caretaker.
Thumbs up both of you c:
fgoetz2
The book I am reading is The Sword of the Spirits by John Christopher. I am on page 20. My first question would be, why start off with a tratior in the start, why not a adventure. My second question is, why not fully introduce us to the main character, I walked in and there wasnt much of a intro of him. This is what i would ask my author.
nhamilton2
May wanna check your spelling next time.
jclark2
Good book
The book I am reading is The Always War I am on page 103. The first question I would ask is how did it start a war becasuse inthe book you start in the middle of a war. the second question I would ask is how did tessa and gideon know each other because in the book they hadn't seen each other since they were children.
dblair6 good job on your blog.
nhamilton2 good job on your post.
The book I just finished is How Lamar's bad prank won a Bubba sized throphy.by Crystal Allen. the two questions I would ask the author would be did this ever happen to you?
and did Xavier go pro? because the scouts were looking at him.
eyakel good post
good job twithers
The book I'm reading is called the mostly true adventures of Homer P. Figg.The authors name is Rodman Philbrick. I'm on page 21.My first question would be, why do a adventurer/action book on the civil War era. i asked this because i thought it was strange and unusual to me. My second question could he have made a realistic fiction of using some famous founding father and have started the story that way. in my opinion that would be really good.
dblair, I've had an author that did he same thing a few years ago.
gparent, great book and people say it is too. i don't like the book for just that reason my dad had to deal with is in Iraq in 2003.
The book I am currently reading is Daniel X by James Paterson and I am on page 51. If I had two questions to the author, it would probably be "What was the purpose of writing this book?" And "How did you get the idea to write this book?" It would be these two questions becuase I would really like to learn the main purpose of this book. Also, for the other question, I would like to find out the bizzare story of how he thought of this topic to write on.
@dblair6
Great book
@jclark2
During Summer, I was going to borrow that book.
The book I am reading is called malice I am on page 20. Chris Wooding is the author of the book. I would ask the author why he wrote this book because something must have happen to him that inspired him. I would have also ask if he have other books because I am really loving this book. This book scares me a little but I really like it.

My book is Daniel X by James Patterson. im on page 43. If 8i could ask the author any two questions, the fuirst one would ne; How did you come up with the name, Daniel X? Why? Because of my curiosity when i first saw the book. Is it from like Malcom X? i have no idEA. My other one would be if hes ever actually seen an alien? All his books are about sliens in some sort of way. Just Curious.
DBalir6 That book's Cover is weird...
Gmontgomery2 Nice but try to make it 5 sentences.
The book I am currently reading is The Clone Codes, by John Mckissack. The page number I am on is 19. One question I would ask the author is why would you make the book where all kids had to do virtual school and everything was holograms? Why I would ask that is because I would want to know where did he get that idea from? Another question I would ask the author is the projects you make the kids do why do you make them go through so much danger?
@dblair6: Your book would be pretty good for someone who needed help on surviving.
@gparent5 you picked a good book.
The book i'm currently reading is The Lost hero by Rick Riordan. Also i'm on page 293. One question i have for the author is if you had a second chance what would you change about the book. Because it seems the author wanted to elaborate a lot in the book but was maybe on a time schedule. my second question is why did you make a whole new series from the percy jackson books. I ask this because i wonder if he ever taught about making a new book for the percy jackson series.
adavis2 good job on reasons
mglover6 good job on reasons
i am currently reading A tale Dark & Grimm by: Adam Gidwitz and i am on page 40. one question i would ask the author is he refering to himself in the book or a different character? And when will you make a new one?
@mquinn6
good posts! and good questions.
@ adavis
good post..sounds like an intresting book!
I am currently reading "The Maze Runner" by James Dashner and I'm on page page 27. One question I would ask the author of my book was how did he create the idea of the glade? Also why did you make the book so creepy? I would ask these questions because the book is so creative and scary.
@Arockett2 good job!
@EPata2 I liked your explanation of your questions
i am currently reading the giver im on page 2 and the main character is telling him about him self. why did you name the book the giver, and why do you have a pic of an old man on the front those are my two quostions i would ask.
dblair6 good post
gparent5 good book
The book im reading is Zoobreak by Gordon Korman. I am on page 35. I would ask Mr. korman why do you have a Doberman on the cover of two of your books? The books do not have much to do with the Doberman so it is a little confusing. Also why do you start your books with passages that have nothing to do with what happens later in the story?
@grenfroe6 that book is very creepy
@gparent5 i like the movie more then the book.
The maze runner Page 5 By James Dashiner. Two questions I would ask the author my book would be. Where does the book take place because it hasn't told me yet. Another question I would ask him is how he thought of the book. How he came with the idea and the plot. I recommend this book to readers because of its fast pace and its supsense. The only down side to it is it 373 pages and not 400.
Dblair6
That sounds like a good book.
Gparent5
Sounds like a good book.
I am reading Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan. I'm on page 11. And one question I'd ask the author is who is Rachel Elizabeth Dare? I ask that because she seems to be an important character and I have no clue how she is relevant. So far this book is awesome

The book I am reading is star wars by George Lucas I am on page 10. One of my questions would be. Is there a diffrence between the book and the movie besides cutting the movie shorter then the book? I choose this question becuase it seems like the scenes would be diffrent. My second question would be. How do you think of new ways to write the book and make the movie? I chose this question because george is a director and author so i want to see his point of view as both.
@gparent5
i agreee with your post
@ dblair good questions
The book I am reading is how to break a dragon’s heart (how to train your dragon). The author of my book is Cressida Cowell I am on page 40. If I could ask the author two questions they would be. One question would be, Why did hiccup’s mom have to die? The last question would be, Why do they name hiccup… hiccup? Those would be the question I would ask.
