I am currently reading the book the Trials of Kate Hope by: Wick Downing. I am on page 75. On specific thing I really like about my book is that it gives a lot of detail on what’s happening around the main character. It helps me (the reader) understand more things about Kate and what type of situation she is in. one specific thing I really don’t like about the book is that is has a lot of characters and it is hard to keep track of everything that’s happening with so many characters. It’s also hard when there are a lot of characters to understand the dialogue (who’s speaking).

I am currently reading dairy of a wimpy of wimpy kid I have finished this book the authors name is Jeff Kinney .One specific thing I like about this book is how every thing is order of by seasons and holidays and the school year as it passes and as well as I go through the book .One thing I don’t like that’s specific about this book is that I don’t like how there are so many pictures than there were words they have more pictures than words. But dairy of a wimpy kid is a very great, imaginative book and I think everyone should read it. If u get a chance to try to read them by series they will be more entertaining

I am currently reading The Help by Kathryn Stockett. I am on page 251.In my book I really like how the author breaks down with details to explain what is going on. For example in my book" the author describes a miscarriage by explaining how there was blood staining the floor and also by saying there was blood in the toilet bowl with a figure laying inside." One specific thing I don't like is the way the book is set up. By this i mean how Kathryn seperates what happend with Skeeter in a chapter. What happened with Aibileen in a chapter. What happend with Minny in a chapter. This makes it confusing for me because it doesnt flow.

My book is Depth Charge, the author is M.Zachary Sherman. I'm on page 35. The one specific thing about my book is, that it's about World War 2. During the fight with the Nazi's. The one thing that i don't like about my book is, ALL the fact that are given about Hitler and his man. I think it should just have the action.

The book I am currently reading is called Cinderella Cleaners by Maya Gold. From the 91 pages I have already read I love this book. One reason why I love this book is because it is girly and the two girls are such good friends- Amy has a recital and wants Gracie to fill in for her, but Gracie is really nervous she had only danced one year when she was six. One reason why I dislike this book is because it is taking a long time to get interesting. I hope it starts now.(:

I am currently reading Eagle Strike by: Anthony Horowitz. I am on page 296. One specific thing I like about this book is that it keeps you on the edge of your seat, and has a lot of details so you(the reader)can really get a sense of whats happening. One thing I dont really like about it is it switches from one character to another so sometimes its confusing when you start the next chapter then you realize its about a different person so you read it again and it makes more sense.

I'm reading Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson, Page 120.
One thing I like about my book is can relate to it. Melinda has too deal with everyday drama such as friends and I can relate to that because i go through drama at school.
One thing i don't like about my book is its very boring and uneventful. I enjoy action and mystery books and my book does not have any of that.

ssuskin5 said...

@gparent5
I have always hated books that have too many characters and it gets very irritating.

I am currently reading Ghost in the Machine by Patric Carman. I am only on page 15 but it is still pretty good. One thing I really like is that its got allot of scarey parts in it. Something I don't like is the fact he keeps going back in the story, its confusing. He also keeps using the same idea repeatedly about four times.
nbrown5 I liked those books they were really cool and entertaining.

Currently I'm reading What Happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen. I'm on page 106. One thing I like about my book is that, since I've read about 4 other books by Sarah Dessen, I love the way Mclean ( and some of her other characters) see the world. Most of them always see the good in things. The glass is always half full not empty. But one thing I don't like about my book is that it's pretty slow at first. And it takes a while for it to be interesting. Or it would be interesting then go slow and boring and back to interesting.

One thing I like about my book is that Dellie tries to help a 6 year old boy named Corey from the neglect his mother does to him. One thing I dislike is that Dellie's mom does not let her leave the house because her little brother Louis died. The name of mt book is "The Trouble With Half A Moon" by Danette Vigilante. I am on page 85. Anybody who loves encouraging kids should read this book.

He does this by playing musci for the tourists that come thorugh New Orleans.

I am currently finished reading the book Where I Belong By Gwendolyn Heasley. One specific thing I really like about this book us that it gives us a clear mind of the main character like what she thinks and her feeling. The author also give the book it's own personality, like having a teenage gril's mind. One thing I really don't like about the book is that the book gives you mixed minds. The main character, Corrine just explains her feelings about moving to Texas and then she end up giving you the clear feeling at the end.

I am currently reading The Da Vinci Code by: Dan Brown. I am on page 50. One specific thing I like about my book is that theres always secrets. like 1 part theres a secret hallway like 5 miles long underground. The entrance is hadden behind a wall. A reason why I dislike the book is that its hard to understand it sometimes. like it would say 5414 nw luxenburgh avenue, and it talks about a preist but befor that robert and fache are still in the hidden hall underground. but there apparently in the building with the priest.

The last book had just one cat as the main character.

I am currently reading the book found it is part of a series. I am on page 200 and this book is wrote by Margaret Peterson. The good thing about this book is that the author puts lots of detail in the book, so that you get a good idea of what is going on. She also has a lot of clues leading the suspense up a lot in this book, so that you can put the book down you have to keep on reading. The bad part about this book is that it gets really confusing and you cant tell what is going on.

I am currently reading,The Battle of the Labyrint: Rick Riordan. I am on page 103 out of 243. The thing that I really like about this book is that everyone included in the book has something special about them. Because of this it makes the book more exciting and adventrous even some everyday people that you would see walking by you on the sidewalk have special powers. The thing that I really don't like about this book is that, half bloods like Percy Jackson don't use there powers enough, for example there was a part in the book when in was raining on him and his friends, this could have been an opportunity to redirect the rain some where else.

I just finished my book It’s Raining Cupcakes by: Lisa Schroeder. One thing I really liked about my book is how Isabel has so much confidence, courage, and determination to make her mom happy. She was going to pay her neighbor money for painting a mural for her in there cupcake shop for her mom so she didn’t give up. To her advantage her neighbor told her to just pay her in cupcakes. I didn’t like how Isabel’s mom kept giving up and complaining about everything when everyone wanted to help her. Also how she almost sold the shop before they even opened just because a famous brownie shop opened in the same town they lived in.

The bad thing about this book is that there is this bully named Dana and he smokes and drinks. This is showing a bad example of smoking and alcohol abuse and might give kids the wrong idea.

I am currently reading the book Bound by Donna Jo Napoli and I am currently on page 49. One thing that i really enjoy about this book is that it has elements that have or that can occur in current time. Another that I dislike though, is that in some parts of the book, there is an odd dialogue. One example that's great is when the main character, Xing Xing, always works even though she is too young. I am currently reading Unwind by Neal Shusterman and I am on page 215. One thing I really like about this book is the author lets you know who is speaking by using the character's name as the chapter title. If the author didn't do this, the book would be a lot harder to follow and know who is speaking. One thing I don't really like about this book is how many characters there are. I am reading “Swindle” by Gordon Korman. I am finished with this book and it’s really good. One thing that I really liked about this book was that usually kids don’t stand up to adults, but in this book seven kids show that adults can’t just walk all over kids that kids can make a stand for themselves and show up the adult. It is very inspiring what the kids did even though it’s just a book it really speaks to me.

I currently finished reading Best Friends For Never by Lisi Harrison. The one specific thing i like about this book is that these are real girls having fun together and becoming friends and say funny and real stuff. One specific thing I dislike is that the chapters can be longer becuase some chapters are only a few pages long and she could have written more.
