The book I am reading is Girls acting Catty, by Leslie Margolis. I am currently on page 115. The one word that i would use to describe my book would be dramatic. Throughout the book girls are fighting with one another and "cliques" are going against "cliques". Annabelle's soon to be step-brother comes to town, her mom's about to get married, and she's losing her best friend. Drama would definetly descibe this book the best. 6th grade is new for them and definetly hard to adjust to, especially when you really want to fit in.
I am reading the book The Lying Game by Sara Shepard and I am currently on page 137. One word I would use to describe my book would be mysterious. The author includes so many different details or stories but there aren't any answers to them. Therefore you are left guessing what the answer is to what happened to this person or why a certain charatcer does what they do. For example, a charatcer in the book goes missing so it makes you want to keep reading to know what happened to him.
@Snetherland6
Your book sounds amazing.do u like it??
Snetherland6:
do u think this book relates to Pretty Little Liars in any way??
astephens5,
Yes i love my book. Its like one the best things i have ever read.
I am currently reading Haddix.I am on page 33. And the author of my book is Margaret Peterson. One word that describes my book is cliff hanging. I think it is cliff hanging becaause it makes you think what will happen next.It also makes you want to just read the ending.I think this is the best I have ever read.
I meant to write Astephens5 NOT 6
Astephens5,
It is its own series but its by the same author who wrote Pretty Little Liars.
I am reading Gone by Lisa McMann. I am on page 106. One word I would use to describe my book is difficult. The reason I think difficult would fit is because in my book the main character, Janie, goes through a lot of "difficult" situations. For example, in the book she is driving her car and suddenly gets put into a dream. The dream makes her blind and when she can finally see she is in someone’s yard.
My book that i currently just finshed was zombie valientine.
WELL....I would say that my word would be "love" becuase it is about how this boy see this girl at that first day of school and he say to himself"love at first sight".Or atleast me tells his friend that after he yells at them for picking on her."Hmm she really quite he the lover boy" says when he friend call her a retard for nopt know the captitals he SCREAMS out STOP IT.
jfox5
THAT SOUND LIKE A PRETTY GOOD BOOK
I'm reading Chains by Laurie Halse Anderson I just began it so I'm on page 8. I would describe my book in one word as OLD. It is from the south in the olden days and the language they use is from then, no one uses it now. The man is riding a horse wagon, and no one has any of those anymore. They also had a sick women in her house to die, but if she was here in this time period she would be in a hospital, most likely,
Astephens5,6
hahaha that tittle is funny. is the book?
Snetherland5
I've seen a couple of episodes, do they relate to the book a lot or is it different?
Astephens6
Your book sounds like the steryotype girls in high school, do you think that at all?
^spena6
The book I am reading is Double Dutch, by Sharon M. Draper. I am currently on page 14. One word to describe my book would be drama. There is so much drama in the book because these kids don't like each other. Another reason I would describe this book with the word drama is because all the other kids are scared of the kids called the Tolliver twins. They seem pretty scary.
snetherland, I noticed your book was the lying and i just wanted to know is it anything like the show? I hope you are enjoying it.
jfox5, your book does seem difficult. It also seems a little weird and creepy in a way.
I'm reading Firestar's Quest by Erin Hunter, and the word I'd choose for it is "originality" or "creative". Why? Because it's something I've never expected. Multiple times, I have been surprised by the amount of creativity and new ideas, including some instances in things like rat attacks, and others such as there being a fith clan in all this mess. Of course, the aspect of talking cats is clearlty new, but overall this book takes on one of the most creative stories. There being a fith clan? No hint of one until this book!
@AStephens6
that is dramatic. o.o
@SNetherland5
Is it like a crime mystery? With police? Or is it like.. uhm.. one of this small mystery home-town the-main-character-always-solves-it mystery?
If there were one word to describe my book it would be interesting. The reason I would say interesting is because the main character by the name of Paul goes through so much in the book such as getting bullied at school. What he also goes through is death. Btw the book I am currently reading is Tangerine by Edward Bloor I am currently done with the book but will love to reread it.
I am reading the book Flush by Carl Hiaasen. I am currently page 46. The one word that i would use to describe my book would be mysteries or entertaining. During the book the father goes to jail for sinking a casino boat. The son goes to the jail and visits his father, and i always wonder what the father will do when he gets out of jail to the owner to the book.
Astephens, i really liked how you explained your reason why you thought your book was dramatic and i think i would want to read that book.
dbenjamin, your book sounds great i think i would want to read it :)
The book I just finished reading is The great wide sea by M.H Herlong.The word I would use to describe this book is tragedy. The book has many heart breaking instances like the boy's mother dying.There father abandons them.Then when he comes back he makes up a story of what happened.
Astephens6, dramatic definitely fits your book.
Snetherland5, your book sounds very exiciting.
I just finished reading Heaven is For Real by Todd Burpo. The one word I would use to describe this book is interesting because this littl eboy dies and goes to Heaven and then comes back to life. This is a true story on this little boy Colton Burpo.
If I had to describe my book in one word it would have to be funny. Because it has alot of funny moments. Also they make some weird comments.
snetherland5,
Is this your 2nd book for this 9 weeks?
The book that I'm currently reading is Twilight, by Stephanie Myer. I would say the one word to describe this book would have to be love. Love is basically what this story is wrapped around. Yes, their are vampires and a lot of action, but the main story of the entire Twilight Saga,is about Bella and Edward falling in love, and going through difficult situations, like Edward leaving, and James and Victoria trying to kill Bella. But they overcome this with love. There's also the love triangle between Bella, Jacob, and Edward. They're both madly in love, and Bella loves both of them, but who does she love more? So overall this book is about love. I really enjoy this book, and the three other ones!
The book i am reading is "Number the Stars". The author of my book is Lois Lowry.IIM currently on page 27. One word that would describe my book is "Compelling". I choose this word because this book is difficult to forget. The emotion he put into this book is heartwarming.
spena6,
Do you think this book will get better?
Snetherland5,
I've never read the books, but I watch the watch EVERY Monday and I love it! I agree that mysterious would be the word to describe it. :)
I just finished Someone Like Yoy by Sarah Dessen. If I had to choose one word to describe the book, I would say "difficult" because Scarlett has to deal with having a baby at 16 and Halley has to deal with her boyfriend pressuring her to be someone she's not. Plus, Scarlett has to have the baby with no father because Micheal died in a motorcycle accident the day Scarlett knew she was pregnant for the first time. I couldn't even imagine going through any of these things and Scarlett and Halley supported each other the whole time. I loved reading this book because there was so many unexpected things that happened and the adversities that people have to go through if they're not careful.
Astephens6, I agree cliques and highschool include lots of drama. Also great author.
snetherland5, I love this TV show! I watch it every Monday. Do you think the book is better than the movie?
I am currently reading copper sun. The author is sharon draper and i am on page 57. If i had to choose i would say my book is kinda sad becuase they kil her parents and they kidnapp the people in the village and she has to be a slave an she gets raped.
bfreguson2, I liked this book too! Obviously because it's like a wacthing a movie because it was turned into a movie! The love is cute, but more interesting because Bella is a human and Edward is a vampire.
Scottr5, Margaret P. Haddix good author raed her books many times. Her books are amazing i actually just finished one of her books.
overbored/elizabeth fama/pg.7
i would chouse outstanding. Because the book is a grate book. I just started it but i cant put it down. I will start reading it when im done with it.
sbogue2,
I'm glad you liked the book, it's always going to be one of my favorite books ever, and Sarah Dessen is an AMAZING author. She writes stories about things that happen to actual teens; like young pregnancy, or a death of a loved one, and many more. I love her books, especially Someone Like You! :)
bferguson2
I love the book twilight ive read it amillion times do you like it?
If ia could choose one word to describe my new book named Dark Vision, by L.J. Smith. I would say addictive. I say this because the book can capture anyones mind. it makes the person loose sense of time.
Astephes6: i think our book describes it's word.
The book i am reading is Dogsong, by Gary Paulsen. I just finished the book. The one word i would use to describe my book is suprising. One day russle is in a government box house and the next he is out in the arctic with a dog sled. He finds a snowmobile and there is a preganant women that owns it. he kills a polar bear to save her.
snetherland5 i thin i would like to read this book
sbogue2,
Was it a good book? Should I read it sometime?
I'm about to start reading The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. Last year I read half of it, but never got to finish. A word that I could think of to describe this book would be mood changing. Because so far in my reading it has made me sad at one point then suspensful in another part. Because I've never been in a position like the characters so it's interesting to learn about them and how they are. I can't wait to read the rest of the book!
EJONES6 - That sounds like a tgood book and it's cool that is about soccer!
lmartinez5 - I love that book, keep reading!
I am reading Sparrow Hawk Red. The author is Ben Mikaelsen. I just started this book so I am on page 23. A word to describe this book is curiuos. It leves the reader thinking what happend to Ricky Diaz's mother.
The book I am reding is exciting. It's like a mystery, nonfiction,and adventure book all together.
spena6 book sounds enteresting.
The book I am reading is Double Dutch by Sharon Draper.I am currently on page 10. One word to describe this book is drama. Drama describes this book because these twin have everybody in the school scared of them. However these two friends love to double dutch and they have a big competetion coming up soon. While they are in class many of the students don't like each other. So in a way the book is all over the place.
@Snetherland5,
I have never read the book but I have seen the TV show. Is the book as good as the TV show?
I am reading Life As We Knew It, by Susan Beth Pfeffer. The one word I would use is exciting. This book keeps you on your toes. You are always wanting to know what happens next.
If I had to describe my book in a word it would be meaningful. I chose that because you have to listen to the book so you don’t mix things up in real life. Because it could be deadly for you. My book is about diving and a lot of things could go wrong if you don’t do a certain thing Wright.
@ dbenjamin6 ,
It is very werid, but in a way funny and entertaining.
bferguson2,
What do girls find so interesting about Twilight?
The book I am reading is Traitors. My books author is Andrew Snaden. I currently on page 78. If i had to describe my book with one word it would be amazing. I love this book have fun if you try to read this it's very intersesting.
@Astephens5 your book sounds great do you like it
Book:Witch and Wizard the Gift Author:James Patterson page :125
One word to describe my book is magical literally. It is magical because Wisty (Wisteria) can light herself on fire, glow, cast spells with a wand, and move small objects with her mind. Whit (Whitford) can cast spells but has no wand and he also has the magical powers of being a protective older brother :). Plus they are both "curves" which are people or animals that can cross between the shadowland or to me it is the spirit land. And they both have the magical powers of sibling love not to mention that their parents are also a witch and wizard. Weird, huh?You don't really wanna mess with this family do you?
the book im reading is 9th grade slays by heather brewer and one word to describe my book would be school because vad a teenage boy in highschool is in school. Him im and his best friend henry are just starting highschool so they are haveing a little trouble. So i will have to find out what happens next because im only on page 35.
I am changing my book AGAIN!!
Book: Horns & Wrinkles
Author: Joseph Helgerson
Chapter: 11
Page: 38
Word: Suspenseful
The main character in my book is a bully. His Cousin gets droppen in the water by him, and he grows a long nose that keeps growing every time he bullies someone. It will only go away if he does a random act of kindness. But he doesn't beleive it. It is suspenseful because i don't know if he will ever stop bullying kids! It's a real page turner!
PotterFreak
@nmongo2 that book sounds very interesting.
jdewitt6,
that book's really good. We read it last year in reading class! I love it. My favorite character is Sodapop or Ponyboy. When you're done with it, you should watch the movie. There's not alot of differences in the movie, from the book, so it's cool to see the book come alive. Sodapop's so cute :) Haha. I hope you like it!
The book I am currnetly reading is "My Brothers Hero" by Adrian Fogelen. I am on page 5. So far I would pick the word boring because it really started out very confusing. I really dislike how authors start their book out like we know whats going on, and thinking we know the people. Hopefully my book will get intresting and something that grabs my attention.
@ Jfox5- I like how you explained what your book is really about, sounds like you enjoy it. I think i might go get that book soon. :)
the book i just finished reading is the book hoot . if i had to describe it in one word i would say it is funny. the reason i choose to put that is because the main charater is from the country so when he moves to a city it is hard for him. he has to make friends and along the way alot of stuff happens to him i loved this book.
I am now reading "One True Friend". It is writen by Joyce Hansen. I am on page 16 now. If I could choose one word to describe this book i would say descriptive because when the author tells me something in the book she explain everything she talks about. She also shows how some of the characters feel.
Snetherlands5
That sounds like a great book does the chracter ever end up being found?
@ Snetherland5- Nice job on your word, i think I would want to read that book some time. I really like mysterious stories. Thats kind of cool that she would put a lot of mysteries in the story, so your left figuring them out.
Jricks2m, I also read that book and it is outstandin on how she feel and why she leaves in the first place.
@awilson2,
Yeah you should its a really good series to read and i enjoyed it a lot.:)
spena6 it really sounds like that book is boring
Im reading Confessions of a Shopaholic by Shopie Kinsella. one word i would use to describe my book is hilarious. I think this word decribes my book perfectly because its very funny and amusing.
my character is so detailed about everything and makes a joke about it. I'm currently on page 25
scottr5,
ive heard that its a interesting book and am looking forward to eventually reading it.
Astephens5 i"ve heard that was a really good!
Snetherland
That sounds very interesting I love a good mind turning mystery. Are you enjoying your book? Or is it a total bust for you?
@Snetherland5 that book sounds very interesting could you please exaggerate to me how good that book may be.
The book I’m reading is The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman. I am on page 160. One word to describe my book is semi-creepy. The reason why I say semi is because its not that creepy or scary and its about GHOSTS! Ghosts should be very creepy not semi-creepy. So I would think it would be fair to call it "semi-creepy."
snetlherland5 is the show like the book?
@Jfox5- thanks for telling me its good, because now I will probably keep reading it. :)
Astephens6,
Wow they are on ly in sixth grade bit they are acting like highschoolers.
astephens6
Whos your favorite character?
What would be your favorite part in the book so far?
snetherland5
the book that you are reading is a really good book.
I am currently reading copper son by sharon draper. If i had to choose i would say my book is really sad becuase the people in amaris village are kidnapped and the people who kidnapped them killed her parents, the chief,her friends, and her little brother and now she has to become a slave. The only thing she has left is her hope. But she loses everything when two of the men that kidnapped the village rape her and beat on her. Then she is sold to a horrible master clayton. She has to listen to him talk and then he uses her for his own personal needs and then she became pregnant with her masters baby.
The book I just finished is called Twilight by Stephenie Meyer and it was 498 pages. The one word I would use to desribe the book would probably be romantic. The book is about a girl named Bella. One day she meets a mysterious classmate named Edward Cullen. So the story is about them falling in love and the suspence in the book keeps you reading and I couldn't put it down.
hpeel02,
that is sad that the mother is dying!
sbogue2,
that book sounds really good!
Im reading the yearling. Im on page 320. The author is Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings. I think that one word that would describe this book is terrific. Because theres adventure, heart break, and death. It keeps you on the edge.
Snetherland5
that book sounds exciting and a thrill to be reading.
scottr5
ive read that book and its an amazing book. hope u enjoy it.
bferguson2 how is twilight, i might want to read it
Smasingil5
How long have you been reading that book?
snadon, how is it about ghosts? are the ghosts nice or mean? What is the relationship between the ghosts?
potterfreak
Astephens5 sounds like a good book
scottr5, what is your book about?
potterfreak
i ment LRichey6
Astephens6
Sounds like too much drama! Are you enven enjoying it?
The book I just finished was called the Black Duck, by Janet Taylor Lisle. The word I would choose to describe this book is mysterious. This book was mysterious to me because there were many parts in the book where I found myself anting more. Especially in the end when everything began to unravel and I learned about everything that I wanted to know, since I first picked the book up. I really enjoyed this book, and I hope that the one that I read next is just as good.
Snetherland5 ive been wanting to read that book caant wait when will you be done so i can have it thanks bye.
Snetherland5:
I love the seriesto that book, do you watch it?
smasingil5
That book is so hard to read, it's like impossible.
I have just finished reading The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. This is a really sad, touching book. Although, the word I would use to describe this book is Romance. For example when Allie is supposed to be engaged with Lon she stills remembers Noah and goes to see him where he is waiting. I really enjoyed this book and if you get a chance to read it you won't want to put it down.
I am reading Passion and Purity by Elizabeth Eliot and am on page 32. The word I would use to describe this book is knowledgeable. Elizabeth definitely knows what she's talking about without sounding informational or judgy. She writes about letters she has gotton from her readers and she is very wise in her responses. I also think the word would'nt be entertaining or dramatic even though it is about a love story and the death of her husband.
RScott5, I think I've read that book. Cliff hanging is good word for it!
SPena6, that sounds like an interesting book.
The book im currently reading is Lost and Found,By Anne Schraff. Im currently on page 72. If I could describe this book in one word it would be mysterious. as the author tells the story it becomes more and more interesting. The reason I chose mysterious is because Darcy sister jamee disappears in the story and darcy is trying to find her.
spena6 that sounds like a really great book even though you called it old.
ejones6 that sounds like a really good book let me know wat it was about.
the book i have is "I.Q". it is writtin by roland smith. i just start reading the book but im on page 91. i really never had a chance to get into this book. if i had to pick a word i would say great. the reason i pick that word is because it has vivid words gret vocab and show excelent imagery.
Westing Game/ Ellen Raskin/ Page 42
If I had to choose a ONE word to describe my book I would choose “confidential”. I chose this word because this book relates to Clue, the board game. So far, Samuel W. Westing’s heirs are in a game to find which one of the heirs killed Samuel. Samuel made his will very mysterious. It was as if he knew one of his heirs would have killed him. Anyways, in the will he stated that each group had a set of clues, and they have to use their wits to pick out who’s the culprit. The culprit is in that envelope in the game that will only open when you have all the clues filled out.
Pdixon6
Your book sounds interesting! Maybe I’ll read that book next!
Astephens6
Sounds like the girls are being all sassy to each other!
MAstephens6: wow u weare very descripdive. I feel like I was just reading the bookk
Scottr5: it sounds like your having a greatyime reading the book. I would love to hear more about it
scottr5, I remember reading that book and I agree that its cliff hanging. Which Haddix book in the series are you reading now?
ebayer6, Your book sounds really interesting I like how you described it and organized your thoughts. I might want to read it soon.
I am currently re-reading the book Harry Potter and the Deathly hollows by J.K. Rowling. I am on page 510 and the word for this bok is mysterious. The auther leave you hanging in some spots and some of them are never answered. For example, the Death Eaters find Harry even though there is no other possible way exept that Harry still has the trace. As to how they find Harry, the book doesn't say until about half way through the book. Then there is the thing about how Harry is the master of the Elder wand. Some people don't understand because the auther is not very clear on it. I think the word mysterious is a pretty good word for my book.
Snetherland6, I didn't notice this, but I used the same word as you. I guess exciting could describe my book as well.
Scottr5, I believe the auther of your book is Margret Peterson Haddix. Haddix is the name of your auther, not the title of your book. You might be reading the book Found or maybe Among the Hidden
The book i am reading is under the Blood Red Sun, by Graham Salisbury. I am currently on page 112. One word i would use to describe this book is hardship. I use hardship because the story is about a young Japanese American teen living in Hawaii the time of the bombing of Pearl Harbor and is about the struggle his family faces as a result of the bombing.
cwilliams i agree
dgillesbie5 that sounds like a good book
i am reading the enchanted forrest of horror. its author is emileen church. i am currently on page 10. a word to describe my book is creepy. little action has happened yet.
The book I am reading is The Titan's Curse, by Rick Riordan. I am currently on page 241, and one word I would use to describe this book is Mythical. I would use this word because there are many mythical creatures from Greek mythology in this book. This book also includes all of the Greek Gods and goddesses of Greek Mythology, and they help him on his quest. He talks to Aphrodite, and she tells him to do what he wants to do, save Annabeth.
Snetherland5;
That sounds like a good book, I might read that sometime.
nmongo2;
Do the 'stars' in the title of your book have anything to do with the book itself?
The book I read was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. It was written by J.K.Rowling. I am currently finished with the book. The word I would use to describe this book is descriptive. It always tells characters in very high description also parring it with illustrations.
@Snetherlands5
your book sounds really interesting
@scottr5
can you give some details?
I’m reading The Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling and I'm also on page four hundred and ten. The word that I choose to describe my book is shocking. The reason I choose shocking is because at the very last second, when you believe that Serius Black, the escaped prisoner of Azkaban, is going to kill Harry Potter, the most shocking news comes out. Professor Lupin and Serius, in a nutshell, explain to Harry, Hermione, and Ron that Serius didn’t kill Harry's parents and is not trying to murder Harry. Serius was actually trying to murder the man, Peter Pettigrew that killed Harry's parents and Serius’s closest friend.
scottr5, Are you going to read the rest of the Haddix series? I finished the first book and loved it but never got the chance to read the rest. But, the first book was one of my favorites and very cliff hanging.
jfox5, How is this girl dreaming while she's driving a car? Is someone casting a spell on her and putting her into dreams? Is she dreaming the she was in a yard, or did she crash?
@Snetherland5 The Lying Game sounds like a really go book.I wish I knew the ending.
@Snetherland5 The Lying Game sounds like a really go book.I wish I knew the ending.
I am currently reading Taken by, Edward Bloor. One word that describes my book is mysterious. I chose this word because, this book involves many scenes where the main character Charity Meyers doesn't know where she is, and how she got there. For example Charity wakes up in a ambulance not knowing how she got there, later finding out she was kidnapped. I am on page 44 of my book.
@ Snetherland5 That is the same word I used to describe my book.
@Jfox5 Gone also sounds like a really good book. Did you get it from this school?
Storm Runner:
Im currently on page 62. I would say that this book is weird. It makes you think about people running on storms. When you see the title you have to want to read the book. It looked interesting when i saw it.
@Jfox5 I have heard that book is really good. Is it any good?
Jricks2,
You need five sentences and u missed spell lots of words.
kwilliams2,
Like i told Jricks2 you missed spelled some words
I am reading A Year Down Yonder, by Richard Peck and I am currently on page 28. One word that discribes my book is lesson. The reason I think lesson would fit this book is the main charactor, Mary came to grandma's home because of the financial difficulties and she lives there for a year. And she learns many things from grandma about the life and how to solve the problem we have.
scottr5,your book sounds really interesting.
dbenjamin6, your book hears pretty interesting and I would like to read that book next time.
I have currently finished Warriors:Omen of the Stars: Sign of the Moon. The word the describes my book is "Fate". The fate of the Tribe of Rushing Water lays in the paws of Jayfeather. Jayfeather has to choose a new leader for the Tribe.
@MRichards5
Have fun reading Firestars Quest! By the way, which Warrior Cats book have you not read? Also, you never mentioned which page you are on or if you finished it.
@ebayer6
Your book sounds really depressing. That is all I have to say? I win.
In the book i am currently reading, Flipped, by Wendelin Van Draanen, i'm on page 189, one word that I think would describe my book is transformation. I think that the word transformation is a good word to describe my book, because throughout the book, one of the main characters Bryce, went through pretty much a complete transformation of his personality. At the beginning of the book Bryce wasn't a very nice person and was extremely judgmental about the other main character, Juli. Coming closer to the end of the book Bryce started changing the way he viewed her, and just the way that he viewed things. By the next to the last chapter, Bryce's personality had completely "flipped" from what it was and he was basically in love with Juli, and didn't care what people thought about him or that he liked her. You can tell the change of his personality as you're reading the book, and I think that anyone would agree that transformation is one of the best words to represent my book.
kflanagan6, how is the black duck? I remember in 6th grade Mrs. Armstrong said that the book was really good and I still haven't had the chance to read it.
astine2, what is that book about, from what you said in the post it seems very interesting.
My book is holes by Louis Sachar and I am on page 32. The one word I would use to describe this book would be cruel. Because there is brutality and unfairness, an example of this is how they don’t let the campers shower. They only let them every 3 days. Some brutality is that every day the campers have to dig a hole. The hole has to be 5 feet wide and five feet deep. So that is why I chose the word cruel, to be the word I used to describe my book holes.
@Snetherland5 Does the character lie at all or is that just the title.
@Astephens6 is that pretty much a only girl book?
The book I am currentlty reading is Wicked by Sara Shepard. choosing one word to describe this bookis definatley hard there are so many amotions. In the book there are 4 main charecters which alll have their own emotions. While Hanna cna be as happy as a bird Emily can be meloncholy. I fell like one word to describe the book would be... Suspencful, I choose that because it is very suspenceful with the way it words stuff, on the last book I read, I had to wait to read this book to find out one of the charecters died. I can't truley find another word for it because it just keeps me on the edger of my seat all the time.
@Snetherland5...That book sounds so good I really want to read it! I watch the show, is there a big diffrence in the book and the show? I feel like there would be more secrets in the book that is not incorperated with the show.
@EJONES6...That sounds like a interesting book to me as well! I take it that you liked the book? I mean if you would reread it, would you recomend this to a certain audence?
I am currently reading Summer Ball by Mike Lupica I am on page 152. One word I would use to describe my book is, perseverance. I used this word because throughout the whole book Danny is trying his best. Even when he fails he just tries again. Also no matter how hard things get he never gives up.
spena6, that book sounds interesting but what is it about.
hpeel2 that book sounds like a sad and dramatic story it also seems like it has good suspense.
My book is Go Big Or Go Home: By Will Hobbs. I am currently on page 66 Ch.11. If I could describe my book with one word. I'd probably say adventure, because Brady and Quinn (the main characters) are usually adventuring around on their bikes. Brady has almost got trampled by a wild buffalo. Brady also seems to be developing powers that make him stronger on his adventures.
@MRichards5 surprises are always a fun thing thing to read that leaves you hooked. It sounds like a good book.
@pdixon6 your book sounds like it was fun to read. Fantasy can always spark imagination and be awesome to read.
If I had to choose one word to describe my book "The Boy Who Dared," I would choose courage. Helmuth, the main character, has the courage to go against the Nazis and his family to do what he thinks is right. He starts out believing that Hitler is right, but the more he sees the Jews being tortured and treated so unfairly, the more he thinks Hitler is wrong. He ends up going to prison for his acts of defiance. Everyday he thinks he will be killed. His is a true story of courage. Right now I'm on page 149.
@TMartinez5
This book sounds interesting, is it about Native Americans??
@lmartinez5
This book sounds really funny, I really like this author.
I am reading Warriors:The sight(The Power of Three series).The word I would choose for my book is "Insane" cause this book doesn't have one main charcter, it has three. It also tells a life about cats and why they live this way of life and cats can't really talk. And each main character has there own personalities,advantages, and disadvantages.I like this book cause it has lots of action.
@Astephens6
Sounds like a good book.
@Snetherland5
Sounds like a good book
The book I am currently reading is Harry Potter and the half blood prince by J.K Rowling. I am on page 123. The one word I use to discribe my book is awesome. It has violence, love, a stalker, and a moron. Ron starts to date a girl then has no time for his friends.
I am reading Olives Ocean by Kevin Henkes. Im on page 65. one word i would use to describe my book is throughful. I choose that word because all the way through the book the main character, Martha, is always thinking realy deeply about something. Shes always talking to people about her thoughts too.
@ SNADON6:
so what is the book acctualy about.Is it any good?
If i described my book in one word it would be, suspenseful. My book, A Time To Kill, is suspenseful because you never know what is going to happen. Like the main character always does something unsuspecting. It can be good like him trying to prove someone guilty. Or Trying to help kill someone.
Also its by John Grisham. I'm on page 296.
Astephens6,
Sounds like a war.
Scottr5,
"Cliff Hanger" is two words..
