I am currently reading “Wonder” by R.J. Palacio and I’m on page 26. August has a facial deformity and is about to start school. He has a tour set up with 3 students to help him. One of the students asked about his face. He didn’t answer. I probably would’ve been really upset. I wouldn’t have wanted to get in a fight but I would be mad.

@zgano5 That's a great book.

nlabender5 That is interesting.

I am reading "The House of Hades", by Rick Riordan, and i am on page 267. Something that recently happened is the hero's were surrounded by monsters and they fought them and almost died. I would've run away and survived instead of fighting and almost dying.

@Nbrown
I really liked that series, hope you enjoy it!

@cscott1
I hope that you don't read this post and get any spoilers, sorry if you do.

I’m reading Mocking Jay by Suzanne Colin and I’m on page 96. In the book there was a bombing at district 13 and there was a lock down to the last level of the building. If I was in the story I would have done the same and get ever one far underground. After ever one was underground I would get the water and food storage out and distribute them to the people. Then I would ether try to wait out the attack or fire back.

I am reading Gameworld by C.J. Farley and on page 18. A recent event is that a character,Chad,is after the main character, Dylan. Chad is a jerk and a very big person. No one cares about Chad coming after Dylan. The teachers do not even care. In this situation the only thing to do is get out of the school as fast as you can and get home.

I am currently reading Promises to Keep by Paul Langan and I'm in page 20. One event in my book that I would have handled different was when Tyray got caught up in the wrong crowds. As a result to getting caught yp in the wrong crowds was drama and troubled stirred up. Now hr has to face one of the biggest threatening decisions yet . I would have handeled this differently by choosing who I hang with wisely .

The book that I am reading is enders game by Orson Scott Card. I have recently finished this book. One of the major events that just happened in the book is that ender has defeated the buggers at their home world. Under this kind of stress I would have cracked knowing that the fate of the world would be on my shoulders would have been too much for me.

@Jedwards Sounds like a good book

The book that I’m reading is “The Thin Executioner”, I am on page 487. In the book Jebal, the main character, got tricked. He’s slave got taken away, and he was turned into a slave himself. If I was Jebal, I would have kicked and screamed. I would try to get people’s attention and tell them that the men he was “working” for are con artist. I would warn every single town that they passed in.

nmccleese1 said...

@nvance5, that sounds very reasonable, because being under that fate, would be very hard to take in.

@jedwards2, that would be a great choice, because you never want to be in the wrong crowed.

The book that I am currently reading is Code Of Honor by Alan Gratz which is the same author of the last book I read.I am on page 25. The main character was sleeping in bed and he geared loud foot steps. Hr heared his brother scream and then his parents. Then there are the shadows who take them away which is really HomeLand Security. They think they are terrorist so they took them away.

the book i am reading is Sapphique and its by: Catherine Fisher. recent event in my book was when someone escaped out if prison. i would have handled as if i would have broke out of prison. i would do everything that i would do to get out of prison. try to find the boy that broke out of prison and put him back back in jail. and put him in there longer that he was in there for.

The book that I am currently reading is The Fallen and I am on page 20. Martin has a reputation at the school that he go to , and its not a good reputation its a bad one. His reputation is so bad that the school sent a letter to his mom explain what his school records look like and that he will be expelled. He had been skipping school and fight everyday , not only has he been fight students. He's been fighting teachers as well. But His mom says that he is a good child but she believes that he's doing all of this stuff because his brother died a couple of months ago and he just started acting like this after his brother died.

abpugh5 said...

I would try my best to keep calm but I know how he feel, it hurts a lot to think about someone that died and try to go to school.

abpugh5 said...

That book sounds really good @daproctor5

That's the helpfulness thing to do @nvance5

I am currently reading 39 clues 3 by Rick Riordan. One event that occurred that I would have done differently was to not make an alliance with Alistair oh. He isn't trustworthy and he forgets everything quickly. I would have not let him hold the stolen sword no matter what. He cannot be reliable or able to take things seriously. I would have waited for Ann to come so she could take care of it.

jhardy5 said...

I've read that book. It has a lot of drama.

Sounds dangerous. I bet it has a lot of suspense.

I am reading Foul Trouble by John Feinstein. I am on page 10. One situation that happened was that one of the main characters got signed to a lot of colleges for basketball because his best friend got signed to them. I would have handled the situation by just playing the game and going to a college that actually wants me instead of going to a college that just wants me because they think that my best friend will go if I do.

The current book that I am reading is called, “The Bridge from Me to You”, by Lisa Schroeder. In this book I am on page 124, and so far it is actually really good. If I had to give the book one most important word of it so far, it would be “wise”. I would choose that word, (wise), because in this book Lauren and Colby have to be wise to accomplish their goals, and when they are “going through” certain situations, they both are very wise and careful with what they do, and you would have to be wise if you were playing a role of them in a book or even in real life.

I am reading “Airball: My Life in Briefs” by L. D. Harkrader and is on page 32. Kirby wants to go on the basketball team to meet Brett McGrew, which he thinks is his father. If I were to handle that, I would try to be on the basketball team because it may be a “now- or- never” chance. Kirby wants to go on the basketball team. But there is only one problem: he can’t play basketball.

mbradford4 said...

jhardy5 heard of it. Wanted to read that book.

I'm reading the book, Binge, by Tyler Oakley and I am on page 170. In the book, Tyler was invited to a birthday party as a prank. If I were in that situation, I think I would have just left the party. If I knew it was going to be a prank, I would not have attended the party in the first place. Also, I don't really like parties or stressful social situations so I would not have gone to begin with.

@LBaker4 I like that book.

@Jfox4 I might read that.

I am reading Abduction by John Grisham and I am on page 156. The most recent event that happened in my book was when April got abducted and was last seen in her bedroom by her parents. Theodore tried to keep the whole thing a secret but I would not have done that. I would have told the police right away if I knew that my best friend was missing. Theodore finally told the police but that wasn’t till way later in the book. I would just start the search right away to make sure that my friend was alright and not trying to figure things out on my own. Plus Theodore’s parents are lawyers and if I went to them then they would know exactly what to do.

I am currently reading the book called "The Young elites " by Maria Lu, I'm currently on page 352. One thing i would have done differently was i would have not killed my dad. The reason why is because she has gotten arrested and put in a dungeon because of this. I would have just ran away because now that she did that her powers have been found out. And now she is known by some people.
