I am reading Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief by Rick Riodan and I finished it. One person I think world like this book is Zoe. I think she would enjoy this book because she liked the movie. But that’s not the only reason, she likes the kind of books where there is adventure mixed with troubling back stories. And lucky for her this book has both. I think Zoe would like this book because the movie is good but the book is better which I’m starting to notice is always true.

I think it would be Jordan because she would be able to find this book funny and she would be able to relate to it a lot. I am reading Soul Surfer, by Bethany Hamilton. I am currently on page 50. I think Caleb would like this book because he likes emotional stories and this book is sad when Bethany gets her arm bitten off by the shark. Also all the struggles she has to go through trying to do things with only one arm it is really sad. But I also think this book will change what he thinks about people.

The book I am currently reading is This Journal Belongs to Ratchet by Nancy Cavanaugh and I just finished the book. The friend I think should read this book is Grace because she likes the lifestyle kind of books. This book is about Rachel (Ratchet) who’s an outcast and lives with a crazy mechanical father and as punishment for her father’s actions, they have to teach a class. There, she makes new friends and doesn’t feel like an outcast in the end. The writing style and the plot would interest Grace and that’s why I think she should read the book.

Currently I am reading Lyonesse Dark Solstice by Sam Llewellyn and I am on page 42. One of my friends that may read this book is named William. I believe he would read this book since he has read many fantasy based books before and also is in to anime and many shows that aren't realistic. Along with being non realistic there is action everywhere later on into these books and William being a fan of exciting "hype" moments, the times where fights occur would match his flavor. But on top of this, the books he liked to read revolved around a sword which the theme of my book fits into. (also forgot to do this before it was due)

I am currently reading "Power of the Three Warriors Long Shadows" by Erun Hunter and I am on page 168. If I were to pick another friend to read this I would say Callista, because she's a bookworm, she loves cats, and she loves action! She would love the ways the cats live, she would love the way it's a mix of reality and fantasy. Sure, a lot of people would like this, but no one I know currently would actually enjoy this. Also Callista reminds me of one of the characters: Icepaw.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a cliff hanger ending.

The book I am currently reading is Rush Revere and the Star Spangled Banner by Rush Limbaugh. I can think that the only person who would read the book is Jacob. He is the only person that would appreciate the history in the book except for a few teachers. One of his favorite subjects is history and by far one of his best subjects. I also know that he would be one of the few how would understand the humor behind the book.

I read the book The Batboy by Mike Lupica and I am done with the book. If my friend read the book I just finished I think they would enjoy the book because they play baseball like me and enjoy the type of book I read. My friend would like the book because my book has action and it is realistic and could happen in real life. The realism in the book makes the book more believable and is more entertaining than a book that is not realistic. My friend would enjoy my book because he likes the same themes and genres as I do and he won’t get bored while reading this book either because of the action.

Also she read the first book and wants to read the second. The book is about a sickness on the outside world and the group the escaped WICKED is trying to find out a cure and what is really going on. They go through a bunch of obsticals but that doesnt stop them for fighting for what they think is right.

I've finished my independent reading book, Scarlet by Marissa Meyer. The book is a sci-fi and has a great combination of the three things my friend Jeanna likes. She would enjoy not just this book, but the entire Lunar Chronicles series. The book has elements of a futuristic reality and the element of fantasy. The Lunars, (aliens) in the book and the futuristic technology, (portscreens, hover space ships, etc.) Jeanna would enjoy all the elements the book possesses and the suspense that it gives the readers. Even though Scarlet has all of these elements, its known as a twist on the classic tale Cinderlla. I would highly recommend this book to not only her, but anyone who's into sci-fi and clever twist on old classics.

I am currently reading Divergent by Veronica Roth and I am on page #85.
I think my friend Kaylee would like the book Divergent because she enjoys fiction with romance/action. What I think she would like about the book is that the main character, Tris, is going through lots of obstacles and trying to find ways to protect everyone. Also Tris tries to get stronger by practicing fighting and shooting. Tris also falls for someone along the way making her do some silly decisions.

I am currently reading the book “Thirteen Reasons Why” by Jay Asher. I think my friend Emma would enjoy this book because most of the books she reads are realistic fiction. I think she would also like this book because it has a deeper message that is written beyond context, which leaves the reader thinking. This book is full of surprising twists so it is an entertaining read. I think Emma would really find this book to be interesting and enjoyable.

The book I’m reading is All Those Broken Angels by Peter Soloman and I’m on page 42. I would recommend this book to my friend Anna. I would recommend this book because its short and I don’t actually like reading. But its okay for a book I’m forced to read. It’s a book about a delusional kid who is talking to his dead best friend. That’s why I would recommend this to her.

The book I'm currently reading is "Theodore Boone Kid Lawyer" by Josh Grisham and I'm on page 262. One friend that would read this book is Jacob. I recommend to him because maybe he is interested in lawyer kind of stuff. The thing he would like about that book is that it involves cases and mysteries. Some of my friends like mysteries and adventurous books.
