Make sure to give me an example from the book to support your description. Don't forget to include the title of the book, author, and what page you are currently on. Make sure your post is at least 5 sentences. Remember to also respond to 2 other classmates!

The main character in my book, The Loyal Virginian name is Roger Bolynge. I do know he his a guy ,and I'm on page 70. The main character is a great leader and a warrior. "A naked brave sprang at me with a tomahawk ,and I slashed at him with the long Andrea Ferrar my father had left me. I sliced his head half off,and he fell with a gush of blood...."(page 24) Rodger is a warrior as he showed his display of skill in a fight against some Native Americans.Rodger is also adventuress as he adventured into the wood with a party of men leading them to find the hidden Native American fort.

I am reading The Death Cure by James Dashner and on page 245. In this story Thomas is the main character. He takes charge and is a leader to everyone in his group of survivors. He cares for others and is supportive. He does everything he can to help his group. He also stays as positive as possible. It is difficult to stay positive all the time when he is in the situation that he is in, but most of the time he stays positive.

sharriett4 Sounds like a strange character.

I am reading The Rule of Thoughts by James Dashner and I am currently on page 285. The main character in the book is simply named Michael. He is pretty much the revenge redemption type hero under a mask of a cocky teenager. He is also a master of the VirtNet, the “other world” this series is famous for. I found this out when he first gotten a human body and stepped out into the real world. He has a compassionate heart, especially for his friends, but will do anything to shut Kaine, the main villain, down.

The book that I am currently reading is Red Kayak by Priscilla Cummings. I am on page 172. The main character of my book is a kid named Brady. He is a very kind and understanding person. He is probably what you would call a country boy. One example that the author gives is when Brady learns that his neighbors have gone missing on the river and the first thing that he does is rush out to save them.

@ischleissing4 That book series I will read after I read this book. You just got me psyched for it.

The main character in my book is Allyson. She follows the rules and never disobeys them, she also doesn't like to lie about what shes doing. The author characterizes her by kind of giving reasons to why shes like that. For example, when Allyson's friend wants to go watch a play and its not a part of their tour, she doesn't really want to. She's afraid she'll get caught. Allyson is a fun spirited, kind, and smart person. Later in the book Allyson starts to get fun spirited. When on their way to England, Allyson sees the guy she met in Europe. He asks her to go to go to Paris with him and she says yes.

I am currently reading 'Just One Day' by Gayle Forman and im on page 233.

I am still reading The Fault In Our Stars, I'm on page 210, the author is John Green.
The main character in my book is Hazel Grace Lancaster, Green describes her as positive, sad, funny, and gullible. "My mom says I have depression because I read the same book over and over again. But I don't think I have depression, that just happens to be my favorite book." I don't remember learning about 'STEAL' so I can't really do that one. But Hazel is determined and doesn't give up, she also isn't easy to influence.

The book I'm reading is The Wall and The Wing. Im on page 82 and the author is Laura Ruby. The main character in my book is Gurl and everyone in her lifetime is suppose to be able to fly. Gurl on the other hand can't fly because she has another power...she can turn invisible. The people around her use that to make her do bad things like steal for them. Gurl is shy and doesn't have any friends. She is very quiet yet friendly. She's not at all outspoken.

The main character in my book is Noah. He is a young man, who is very sweet and kind. Seems to me like he fell in love a little too quickly, but its only because the woman he did fall in love with; which is Alison makes him feel a way no woman ever did. The author characterizes him as the man who falls in love and gets heartbroken after waiting for her so long. Just to find out she found someone richer. And one steal that we learned in class and is in the book is thoughts. The book gets you thinking a lot. This is “The Notebook,” by Nicholas Sparks and I’m currently on page 53.

The main character in my book, is named Joey. She is deaf. Joey has a friend that is a chimpanzee. This could mean from context clues that Joey is an accepting person. She seem like the type of person that doesn't judge and takes people/animals in as they are.

My book is SCAT the author is Carl Hiaasen and I'm on page 349. My main character Nick could be characterized by his actions. The way I could characterize him by his actions is that he loves animals and wants to rescue them. In the book it says " Nick look at the baby panther and saw why he got himself in this situation. He climbed a little higher and saw the mother panther starring at him. His right arm was in agonizing pain, but he had to fight through it. With all his might he threw the baby panther on the trunk of the tree and the mother panther grabbed and ran away." The way I characterized him like that is because Nick sacrificed himself just to save the baby panther life

The book I'm reading is "The Warlock," by Michael Scott, and I'm on page 250. The main character of this book is probably Sophie, I would describe her as caring and worried. Her thoughts are that she wants to find her twin brother Josh, who thinks that she did something wrong. She thinks her brother hates her now. Her most common thought in this book is "Josh hates me." Another thought is "anything and everything," for those we love.

The book I am currently reading is Hatchet by Gary Paulsen. I am on page 100. The main character is Brian. Brian can stay calm, cool, and collected in dangerous situations like the pilot dying. He is able to take control or analyze a difficult situation and see how to come up with a solution. When the pilot dies Brian takes control of the plane and does his best to stay calm and try to contact someone to help him. Even when he realizes the plane is about to crash he comes up with a plan on how to make the best landing with the least damage to himself. He landed in a lake and made a shelter and found some berries for food.

The book i'm currently reading is called The Scotch Trials by James Dashner and i'm currently on page 172. The main character in my book is thomas, he is very smart, fast, athletic, and a great leader. Every last one of the gladers is incredibly smart which is why they were put in this experiment. they were chosen to see if humans had a chance against the deadly upcoming chaos. thomas would be the leader of the group if he wasn't supposed to have been killed, some people think he seems more the leader type then they're actual leader. "… you seem like the leader type…. i would have picked you instead." (pg166).

The main character in "All The Lovely Bad Ones" is a teenage boy named Travis. He is very awkward person towards his grandmother that is. I shrugged."About five six, maybe seven. Not all that tall. There's a guy in my class who's already six foot." Mary Downing Hahn makes him seem like a kid with very low self confidence. Some of Travis' Traits are confused, awkward, adventurous.

@zwiggins Your book seems interesting. Also because the chimpanzee seems very amusing.
