The book I am reading is called The Looking Glass Wars and it is by Frank Beddrow. My book is a recreation of Alice in Wonderland, except it is told very differently. Therefore it is a fantasy genre. The main character, as in the original book, is Alice, except it is spelled as Alyss. He changes around how the characters behave, and changes their names somewhat. For example, the "Mad Hatter"'s name was changed around to "Hatter Madigan, and he is the queen's (not the one who says "Off with their heads!" far too often, but the original one.) personal bodyguard. And of course her infamous Aunt Redd. I am on page 31 so far, and right now the book is very interesting.

I am currently reading Bystander and I am on page 120, the main character is Erick Hayes who is a new kid in seventh grade, and he needs new friends. Griffin is cool and popular and wants to be his friend. But Griffin always seems to be in the middle of bad things. I really life this book.

I am currently reading Runaway by Wendeling Van Draanen, and I am page 53. This book is Fiction meaning its not real, the main character is Holly and she is a poor, sad girl whose parents are mean and do crazy things to her. She sleeps in a laundry room and barely eats. I am not really enjoying the book so far because it is not a book that catches my attention so if you are into sad book and fiction books then i recommend this book to you!

I am currently reading Schooled by Gorden Korman. I am on page 54. The genre of my book is Realistic fiction. I think the book is alright but can be confusing at some points. The main character in my book is Capricorn Anderson. A hippie that knows nothing of about the outside world.
