This week I want to know about the main character in your book. What is he or she like? Describe his/her personality. Are they stubborn, snobby, compassionate, positive, etc.

Make sure to give me an example from the book to support your description. Don't forget to include the title of the book, author, and what page you are currently on. Make sure your post is at least 5 sentences. Remember to also respond to 2 other classmates!

I am currently reading Alfred Kropp by Rick Yancay. I am on page 250. The main character is “Alfred Kropp” big surprise right. He is 15 and trouble fallows him ever where. He is a heir to one of the nights of the round table and he is on a mission to retrieve what he stole. The Excalibur he so far has gotten a lot of people killed but I think he will eventually retrieve the sword.

I am on page 82 in by book Secrets, Lies, and Algebra and the author is Wendy Lichtman. The main character in this book is Tess she is in 8th grade and has a crush on Rob. Her moms friend is dead they do not know if it is from murder or suicide. She is pretty shy and nervous about telling the police about the death. I love her being the main character.

The name of my book is the Blood Red Horse, the author my book is K.M. Grant. The page I am currently on is 95. One of the main characters in my book is Ellie; Ellie is a 14 year old girl. Ellie is very sweat, kind, and polite. Ellie likes to ride horses with her friend William (he is also another main character). That is the main character of my book, Ellie.

The name of my book is The Juvie Three by Gordan Korman. I am currently on page 165. The main character in my book is Gecko Fosse and his personality is hard working with bad circumstances. His brother had him drive a car as they robbed a store and now he's in a halfway-house. He, in my eyes, is a blundersome person.

The name of the main character is Eric Hayes. He is a very good boy and he is the new kid in the new school and he needs new friends.Griffin Conelly is cool and popular he wants to be his friend, but Griffin always seems to be in the middle of any trouble. And if he doesn't like someone they are in big trouble. The more Eric hangs out with Griffin the more he is in the middle of bad things too.But he's just there, just watching it happen;none of it is his fault.I am done with my book and I want to read more of the author' other books.

I am still reading The Help by Kathryn Stockett. I am on page 121. In the book Aibileen is the main character. Aibileen is a bright person. She takes jobs and orders and mean thoughts that I wouldn't take myself. Aibileen is a very positive and joyful woman. She takes Mae Mobley in as if she is her own baby. She feeds and takes care of her and actually spends time with her (things her mom doesn't do). "In my book Mae mobley runs to her mom while she is on the phone. Her mom then spanks her and tells her to go away. Thats when Aibileen jumps in and comforts Mae Mobley and makes her feel better."

I'm still reading "The Lost Hero" by Rick Riordan. I'm currently on page 471. One of the main characters is Jason Grace. He is extremely generous and literally the opposite of self-centered. He cares about everybody especially his friends because he has no memory of his family. He'll put them first anytime. An example to prove this is while in battle, he sacrificed himself to save his friends. He lived anyway and ended up being perfectly fine, but he had said "I offer my own life-- just save my friends."

good job swilliams2.

I am still reading A Long Way from Chicago by robert Peck. I am on page 112. The main character is Joey, and he is a very curious person. He likes to explore what his grandma does in her ''regular average day,'' he even got to be in a flying plane because he was so curious.
He is also very observant, he notices many things his Grandma does that she is not suppose to. This is my main characters personality

I am currently reading the book Bird by Angela Johnson. I am now on page 70. The main character is Bird. She is a runaway look for her step dad Cecil. Long her journey she lives in a farm outhouse and has met two people named Ethan and Jay. I would describe her as friendly and determined. I feel she is determined because she is going to the extreme to find Cecil, and she is friendly because she becomes with someone who really needs one.

The book that i am reading is called hunger games and is by Suzzanne Collens. The main character of this book is a sixteen year old girl whos name is Katniss Everdeen. she has never been rich and has to do extra stuff to get more money like put her name in the drawing extra and hunt for wild food. Her dad had died in an explosion in the mines. She now has to fend for herself in the big arena.

LMiller2 I remember reading that last year in mrs. Bushes class for reading.

OPanchal, LMiller2 ment that the title is the same as the main character and that was the surprise.

Right now I am reading Tiger Woods: A biography. I am on page 63. The main character in my story is Tiger Woods. His attitude in this story is positive because throughout the story it talks about him and his career in golfing. What I have noticed most about Tiger is that he never gives up on what he loves. In the story he talks about racism that went on in his life and he brushed it off and kept doing what he does best.

I just finished The Looking Glass Wars, and the two main characters in my book are Alyss Heart, and Redd. Alyss Heart is the protaginist and she is a selfless character. During the book Alyss must go through the Looking Glass Maze, which is a series of moral challenges required to get the royal scepter. In the final challenge, Alyss is in a room with Redd, who has her friends in a room, about to be executed. Unlike under normal circumstances, she can not use her imagination to have her friends escape. She must choose who will live and who will die,her or her friends. Her choice was that she sacrificed herself to save her friends. Redd is an evil character, who kills many people because of failure, and because of ideas that would benefit the people, and not the queen. For example, she almost kills her master assasin, The Cat, because he could not kill Alyss, who was protected by Hatter Madigan, who could take down an entire army by himself.

I am reading Journey to the Centre of the Earth by Jules Verne and I am on page 122. The main character in the book is a 19 year old named Axel. He is fascinated by geography. He enjoys organizing his uncle’s mineral collections and studying about the Earth. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to geography related topics, but a little closed minded about others. In terms of personality, he is pretty stubborn, but mostly he is a pessimistic person due to his closed mindedness.

Eustace has been there before with his cousins, King Peter, King Edmund, Queen Susan, and Queen Lucy, the four siblings. In this book they save Narnia from an imposter Aslan. But in their world Peter, Edmund, Lucy, Eustace, and Jill all get in a trailway accident and die. But in the end, they get to stay with Aslan in his country, so they were happy. It was a great book.

My book has two main characters, they are brother and sister. The boy's name is Jack and his siter's name is Jadie. Jack is curious of everything that happens around him and what caused it to happen. In times of danger Jadie is very alert and focus, she can get you out of really bad situations. In one part of the book Jack and Jadie where lost trying to find the way to their grandmother's house. They havn't eaten food for a few days and felt very hungry. When they got to the house there was two hotdogs on the table that their grandmother made. Jack was sure to examine every bite carefully while eating it.
In another chapter of the book Jadie locked all the doors and windows before going to sleep. She even got her grandma to get a renforced steal covering on the house because she feels uneasy being there. The name of the book is TroubleTwisters by Garth Nix and Sean William. He gets detention alot for that reason. He has brown hair, white skin and he is a wizard. Wisty is a 15 year old girl with red hair. She goes to the same school as her older brother wit. The book I am reading is Wizards of the Game; I finished the book on page 166. The main character in my book is Mercer. He is nerdy, intelligent, positive and negative, creative, and compassionate. For example, while thinking of ideas for a fundraiser he decided “We can combine this with Ed’s idea to sell stuff. We could make the gym a bazaar and a marketplace. We can also hold a contest for the best warrior costume or a fantasy fashion show. Lastly we hold tournaments for Wizards of the Game.” He was creative because he combined the other student’s ideas and his own idea so everyone would be happy including himself. He was all excited about how well this fundraiser was going to do until there was a bump in the road. “They’re picketing the school.” Some people were protesting that the game dealt with Satan and dark magic. “We’re screwed. He said sinking down in his chair” After this Mercer knew they were done for. He gave up.

I currently just finished Runaway by: Wendelin Van Draanen. The main character in my book was Holly. She was a 12 year old girl who has been on the run. Her personality changes by the way you treat her. She likes to stay a mystery because if you asked her about her family or why she was doing whatever she was doing she would lie to stay safe from social services. In my opinion she was very sweet especially to dogs and tried to stay positive considering what she had been through. Also grateful for what she had even though it was a sack of things she needed to survive because she had been through worse things with less stuff.

For example like her friends will ask her for lunch money and she wont give it to them but she doesnt want to give up her money, or when she was selling candy at school some kids got sick off it and she refused to give them their money back. The main character of my book is a 13 year old named Jason. His interests include being lost all the time, we know this because he always says he is lost in the book (main idea of book) and also in the summary in the back. A great example of this is when he took the risk of releasing all the other versions of himself from the enemies.

The main character of my book is named Luke. He is kind of depressed because his dad killed himself. Aside from that he is one of the popular kids at his school. Luke is a varsity fencer, and so are all his friends. The book is called Freefall by Ariela Anhalt.

Sorry i'm late... The main character in my book, Boost, is Savvy Christopher. She is very shy yet willing to do anything when it comes to sports. She is an amazing basketball player and she pretty much dedicated her whole life to basketball. The court is her home and the basketball is her friend next to Gonzo. She is the number one athlete in Arizona and wanted by almost every Travel Team...

The book I am reading is called Unwind by Neal Shusternman and I am currently on page 110. One of the main characters is Risa. She is stubborn and determined. She was determined to stop herself from getting Unwind. She is also usually stubborn to let another main character, Connor to have his way. She is also caring. While running away, they tried to disguise themselves as teenagers and they ended getting stuck with a baby that was “storked”(left on someone’s front porch). Risa cares for the baby and is sad to leave it when they give it to someone else.

The book that I’m reading is called The Old Man and the Sea
by Ernest Hemingway and I am on page 41.
The main character in my book is of course the old man
And he is a very positive and wise, he tends to push away what
People say about his fishing and tell the boy not to care about
What they talk about.
