I have read the same series throughout the entire school year. The Were world series by Curtis Jobling. If i had to choose my favorite book out of the four in the series that i have read so far, it would have to be the first book. Were World Rise of the Wolf, this book was the first and after reading it i was instantly hook to it and i continued the series. I still remember the events of the book and might even reread the series once i am finished with it.

This year i have read several books. The best book I read was To Kill a Mockingbird. I enjoyed the book because it had an interesting story to it . I also expected the book to be much more boring than it was so that was nice also. That was probably the best book I had read this year.

Out of all the books i have read this school year i would have to say my favorite one is Sword Art Online Alzination Beginning. The reason behind this choice is simply because I find the plot line behind it mentally pleasing with how much it integrated the aspects of magic and science before correctly setting characters up in a way that they appeal to the audience, for instance Kirito the main character is a normal adopted teen who after finding out his parents weren't really his parent decided to spend most his time around computers and machines which led to him gaining a great interest in technology.

My favorite book this year has been "Guitar Notes" by Mary Amato. This book has been my favorite because it combined music with a slice of life. I love how it created songs in the story and showed things that are in peoples day to day lives. Each character had a back story and the plot was amazing. I would tell anyone who loves books like this to give it a read.

I’m reading Legend by Marie Lu and I’m on page 305. My favorite book was Eragon because I love the story and also how big the books are. The stories in the books are complex and make you think bake a few chapters or books. Another book series I really liked was the paladin prophesy it’s a very complex mystery book that uses foreshadowing very well.

My favorite book that I have read this year would be The Adventures of Alfred Kopp by Rick Yancey. This book would be considered my favorite bexcuse it had a little bit of everything in it.In the book there was never a chapter where the book didn't have sadness excitement and etcetera. Also the book was really entertaining because it had lots of actions and they fought with a magic sword.Lastly the book just was well written and put together very well.

Out of all the book i've read this year my favorite would have to be The Maze Runner by James Dashner. The bool=k is so interesting, it's full of suspense, drama, fear, unknown danger, and mystery. All those things make it very interesting to read and make you want to read more. Plus it's a series so after the first book there is more to the mystery. Even though I did read all 3 of the books in the series I think the first one, The Maze Runner, is still my favorite by far.

My favorite book I've read this year is "The Sword of Summer," by Rick Riordan. It's probably my favorite because I waited so long to get it. The book included a character that I really like from another book. This other character was the cousin of the main character in "Sword of Summer". I also really like the books from this author, especially how he develops his characters.

My favorite book has been The Beggar King and the Secrete to Happiness by Joel Ben Izzy. The story is about a story teller losing his voice. The irony is entertaining by itself. It has little stories in between each chapter that relates to the chapter's theme. The book has so many good lessons to learn that I would love to reread it. It so heartwarming for me when he talked about his almost deaf mom, his dead father, his children, and wife.

If I were to choose one of the books I've read this year it would have to be Neil Gaiman's, "Coraline". I enjoyed the book very much because it has such a dark atmosphere for a book. There are also some things in Coraline that just makes you think about life. For a small book, it has a lot of things that go in depth.

My favorite book that I have read this year would have to be Best friends for never by Lisi Harrison. The reason that it was my favorite because they were my age and they relate to me in similar ways. This book creates a good feeling in me because it always has me on the edge of my seat and I’m always ready to read more. This book also had different things going on because it was eight main characters and they all had their own issues and some things that they dealt with were problems that people go through in the real world. She did a very good job on that aspect and that is why it was my favorite and because I love her clique series they are all amazing.

Of all the books that I have read this year my favorite has been the book that I am reading right now, The Island of Dr. Libris by Chris Grabenstein. This has been my favorite book so far because it is about fairy tales and I like reading fairy tales. Also this book has been my favorite because it combines multiple fairy tales into one book and it makes it more fun to read. The author has an interesting style in the way that he combines the fictional characters from different fairy tales to be in his unique setting and plot. I would suggest that other people read this story because it is a good book and I have enjoyed reading it.

My favorite book I have read this year is "A Long Walk to Water" by Linda Sue Park. This book is my favorite for multiple reasons. The first being that it just is my favorite book. The second being that it is easy and fun to read. I also like how the author split up the book into two different points of view, while keeping it simple at the same time. Lastly being that it told a great story without being to long to read

In the end he learns to walk and play again.

My favorite book that I have read this year has to be Throwing Strikes by R.A. Dickey. This has to be my favorite because it's about baseball and someone who I look up to. In this book, R.A. talks about his journey, all the way from being a child, to a MLB pitcher. There are some great parts in the book, and there are some sad and revealing parts as well. As a child, one of R.A.'s babysitters sexually abused him, and for a very long time he didn't even speak about it. Once he came out about it, he pitched much better and felt great. Not to mention he won the Cy Young Award in 2012.

My favorite book from this year is Four by Veronica Roth. Four is my favorite book because it has action and it is basically Divergent from the point of view of Four instead of Tris. I also like the book Four because it shows how Four’s life was before he went to dauntless. It also explains why he is emotionally distant when he and Tris first started to like each other. Lastly I like the book Four because the divergent movie series is my favorite so I like all of the books.

I am currently reading the book Percy Jackson and the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan and I finished it about 3 weeks ago. I have read almost the entire series of Percy Jackson throughout the school year and my favorite one was the first book in the series. The first book was the Lightning Thief. It was my favorite because there was so much action and it was the one where Percy learns about camp half-blood and everything else. In my opinion it was the best one but it was hard to compare because they were all great.

Out of all of the books that I have read this year, my absolute favorite one would have to be the one I have read this Grading Period, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. This first novel from Ransom Riggs is my favorite for many reasons. First off, this book seemed to have taken a little bit of everything from the previous books that I have read this year. It takes The Mortality Doctrine series’ fast paced action, The Maze Runner’s plot and sense of mystery, Kingdom Keepers’ engrossing lore, and Flush’s amazing cast of characters and merges it into one insanely spell-binding book. I also love how most of the book is all about discovering the mystery behind the main character’s grandfather in an eerie, almost scary way complete with haunting photographs before turning into an action-fantasy book by the end of chapter 5. It truly is an amazing book and is one of the only books I can really say I cannot put down.

My favorite book that I have read this year is Red Kayak. It is written by Priscilla Cummings. It is my favorite because it is very detailed with the characters. Realistic fiction makes the story seem real which got me more into the book.

Out of all the books I've read this year, my favorite would probably be the one I'm reading now. Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare is an amazing book. I'm only on page 231, but I'm already in love with it. Cassandra is one of my favorite authors. This book is kind of like an epilogue and a story at the same time. The book takes place five years after her main characters in her first series- The Mortal Instruments- save the world. It informs the readers of things that have happened since then, but it's also story about different shadowhunters. I love the characters and how they resemble characters from her past books, but also have unique traits of their own. As a summary, I basically just love Cassandra Clare's work.

This book had actual evidence and gave facts from a real life situation. This books lesson was "To always remember to have someone's back and sometimes something nice will come back to you."

Out of all the books that I’ve read this year, Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card is my favorite. I can’t really describe why it’s a good book in words, but I just love the suspense and detail it includes. The suspense keeps the reader wanting to know what happens next. Just setting it down once will leave you bothered because each page is something important and you just can’t leave yourself without knowing what happens next. The development of the main character especially is what keeps my pulled in. It shows us more insight on his perspective and feelings than an author usually would include in any other book. For anyone that likes Sci-fi and action, I would recommend this to them.

The book I have at the moment is,"this world we live in" by Susan Beth Pfeffer and I am done reading this book. Out of all the books I've read this year, this book has to be my favorite. This book just has so many details within it to describe and help you feel the atmosphere of the world. Not only that, but it's not a "happy ending" story either which I like more since happy endings tend to be bland. Just seeing their attempts to survive, their fights, and what they're willing to do, is very entertaining.

Out of all the books I've read this year my favorite would be Asylum by Madeleine Roux. This book has given me the most chills and the most suspense, I just love the mystery and the insanity in this story, it's different from any book I've read at all! I've read this book over five times already because of the story line, I guess I can't stay away from how differently this book is from all the "futuristic" books. The author deserves to keep writing more in this series, because she adds such detail that even the smallest detail of the stairs creaking sends a chill up my spine! The book kept me wanting to read more of the book as I read further into it. Also in the beginning of the book the author introduced the characters well and let us know their personality. Out of all the book i have read this year The Notebook, by Nicholas Sparks has been my overall favorite. This is because i could relate to some of the book. i understood the book, i felt what the characters felt. it was easy to understand yet hard sometimes and i love a little challenge. most of all, the genre of The Notebook is my favorite genre for any book or any movie that i watch.

My favorite book I read this year was "Me Earl and the Dying Girl" by Jesse Andrews. I chose this book as my favorite because of how much emotion it evokes from the reader. You feel connected to the story when you read it. Also, the movie didn't ruin the book like most do. The producer didn't change anything about the original plot. It helped me understand the story more to see it acted out in a movie, which therefore allowed me to appreciate the book further.

Out of all of the books I have read this year my favorite has to be the one I just finished reading. The book is The Testing by Joelle Charbonnean and it is a book that I would recomend to anyone who likes books like The Hunger Games or Divergent. This book is about a girl selected for the testing with some other people from her colony. They go to the United Commenwealth where the testing center is located and participate in four stages of testing and then one final interview. The book also has some romance but the book is not centered around it which is what makes it great. Overall this book is action-packed with a small love story and is definitely my favorite book this year.

My favorite book is hard to choose since I have read so many. I would have to choose Invitation to the game by Monica Hughes. It had a nice sci-fi theme to it. I also really liked the characters learning how to start a new Earth on Prize. Also it took place in a very grim future. The dystopian theme was very realistic, not found in many books.

@Esmith5
That sounds like a very interesting book.

@snolen6

My favorite book I have read this year was a day no pigs would die by Robert Newton. This book is my favorite because of the story and the dialect. I just loved the story it was a fun story and the way it was written was awesome it was like you really felt for the kid in the story. When the pig died it was so sad. The other reason I liked the story was the dialect. I loved the type of language they used when writing the story. It made me feel like I was there as it was happening and that made it funny as well.

My favorite book this year is gotta be The Maze Runner by James Dasher. This book was my favorite because it had a lot of action and mystery. Like why did they get put in the maze. The action is the have to run the maze to get away from the grievers and also conflict with the other characters. The book was better than the movie it was way more detailed and it actually kept me reading.

Out of all the books I have read this year, Wonder by R.J. Palacio was my favorite. I liked how the story was from the point of view of a disabled boy and it told how he felt about his disability. I also liked that he made friends and went to camp. He was the only one who saw that he was ordinary. I liked how he put a positive look on disabilities.

My favorite book I have read this year was "Warriors:The Sight" by Erin Hunter. I loved how the main character shifted so fluently throughout the book. It made the book interesting and made it to where I couldn't put it down. Also the fact that one of the main characters is blind also makes the levels of intrigue in this book go through the roof. This book is all around great.

Out of all the books that I have read this year Micheal Vey by Richard Paul Evans. The reason why I like this book is because you have a little bit of everything in the book. You name it it has it, mystery, drama, action, suspense, and even a little of romance. I personally think that this book is perfectly well rounded. Not to mention the backstory to the whole book is very interesting as well. I just really enjoyed myself when I read this book.

My favorite book I have read this year would be Flawless by Sara Shepard. I liked this book because it wasn't like most books I've read since i could relate more since it was in a more modern time. Another reason i liked this book was because it wasn't confusing to read, it was simple and straight to the point. Since there is a tv show based off the book it was easier for me to understand what was happening. So thats why this was my favorite book I've read.

My favorite book that I've read this school year is Eight Keys by Suzanne LaFleur. I really like the story line of the book. It was mystery/drama/realistic fiction. It was about this girl in middle school that lives with her aunt and uncle, because her parents died. Her dad left her the rooms with keys and she has to find each key and figure out what each room means.

My favorite book I've read this school year is Alex Rider by Anthony Horowitz. The book is very realistic however fiction. It shows how people can easily corrupt this world by being liars and fakers. It also shows how people can corrupt others as when M16 almost took away an entire life of someone by giving false information. It has a lot of action in it too.

Out of all the books I read this year Lost and Found By Anne Schraff. It is realistic fiction ,breathtaking , and gets your mind wondering . It was about a troubled teen named Jamee Wills who gets abused and used by her boyfriend . She starts failing school and her dad has returned after he left them for years. She doesn't feel loved because her mom is always focused on her perfect sister Darcy . So she gets overwhelmed and runs away from home .

Out of all the books I have read this year, my personal favorite was probably “We Were Liars” by E. Lockhart. I would consider this book to be my favorite because it was very entertaining to read and I could make connections with some of the characters. Also, the plot line was very complex which made the story more interesting since it evoked thought in the readers. I also liked this book because it had elements of a variety of genres, which added a cool twist to the story. Overall, this book was very enjoyable to read.

Through out all of the books that I read this year I think that the 1st book of Daniel X
Is the best because of the great amount of action in it. Also the story plot had a great beginning and ending to it. As well as it being was the most understandable out of all the books. The second book was ok but I love the 1st one better. The theme of the 1st book was the best as well in my opinion.

My favorite book of the school year has been the book gathering blue by Lois Lowry.
I liked this book so much because it is written by a good author but also it was very interesting. The book was about something that you don't read about very often. The book was about a disabled girl who lived in a utopian society and how she has to survive with a corrupt government. The book also connects to the first book in the series.

my favorite book that I read this year is Kissed by an Angel by Elizabeth Chandler. it's my favorite because it involved angels which is something I'm very interested in. it also had mystery about who killed tristan. not only that, but it had murder. I like reading books like that so it was my favorite. plus it had times in the story that were really peaceful and I could picture them well so they made me feel peaceful. I could read it over and over again

my favorite book i have read this year is jackie and me. Because of a few things, the suspense and role playing. It makes you feel like you are the main character. The main charsacter is in a really big holoe that he might not get out of and it is life and death, this creates suspense. That is what i like most about books, the suspense.

@erowland4 i started reading that book but it was slow and i stopped.

@My mom read that book and liked it a lot, i might have to read it.

Im am currently reading 39 clues 4 by Rick Roidan and I am done with the book. During the whole school year the best book I read was probably 39 clues 3. I think that was the best book ive read because it had the most action and conflict in it. In the book a 3 million dollar picture was stolen from a museum and Dan had to return it because people thought he stole it. He had to sneak by officers and even run in pursuit of not getting caught for something he didnt do. Just that was enough action to fill an entire book. The book also had great antagonist victories which I like because then the protagonist can make a great comeback.
