The book that Ive read already is called "Bystander" by James Preller. I am done with this book and this was a really good book. If I could choose one word to describe my book , it would be "SAD". I would pick that because it is sad to me that a boy had to get bullied by his "bully" each and everyday. It was sad to me that all of the students would just watch what was happening to him and still didnt try to help and tell anyone. Eric, the main character, was being a bystander im the beginning, but towards the end he helped out , and I think he actually saved the boy. "SAD" would be the word that describes this book.

My book is Time To Get Tough by Donald Trump and on page 94. The on word that I would use to describe this book is informational. Not only is this book full of facts but it even tells how to fix our economical and political problems. Donald Trump gives you several ways to improve our economical state. For example: if we sued OPEC, an Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, and made Iraq pay back the 1.5 trillion dollars we took liberating their country we would be even closer to paying off our debt. That's just one thing if we started buying American products instead of china made products we would have millions of open jobs and more to came. With more jobs, the more money being made, the more money being made, the more money the United States gets to pay back our debt. This would all happen if we got a better president than Obama. These are just a few facts that are in this informational book.

I'm almost done with my book, "The Third Reich" by Micheal Berwick. I am currently on pages 115. If I had to chose a word for my book, it would be 'historical'. I say this because it has lots of facts, knowledge, and education built into it. Unlike other books, it goes un-biased so you can decided what was okay or not. If you're interested in making your own opinion, this is your book.

I am currently reading the book I Remember You by Cathleen Bell and I am on page 20. If I had to choose one word to describe the book so far it would be focused. The main character, Juliet, is in high school and she is very focused on her school work and debate club. However in the prologue of the book Juliet is very focused on remembering her relationship with Lucas. All through out the book so far someone is focused only on what they are doing.

What I read this week was My Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George and I finished this book on page 177. If I were to describe this whole book in one word I would say "survival". "Survival" would be the word because that's basically the whole main thing of this book, of how a boy survives in the wilderness. For ex., "I am on my mountain in a tree home that people have passed without ever knowing that I am here." (p.3) This shows how the main character, Sam, has a shelter in the wilderness. That's why I chose "survival" as the one word to describe this book.

I am currently reading Matched, by Allyson Condie. I am currently on page 148. If I had to choose one word to describe my book it would be: unexpected. This book is unexpected because in the book Cassia goes through things that you would not expect like, she gets matched with her best friend and a few chapters later her grandfather dies, and they can never get him back. Lots of unexpected things happen during this book and they are still happening.

The book I am currently reading is "The Cay" by Theodore Taylor. I am currently on page 74 of the book. The word I would use to describe my book would have to be survival. I think this word perfectly describes the book because the book is all about surviving on an island with little resources. The main characters are currently fishing for lobster while the main character, Phillip is blind.

MY Book is Because of Winn Dixie. I finished it. A word i would use to describe it is unique because its a unique book. She named her dog Winn Dixie and he could smile. Also it was weird/unique when she calls he dad 'The Preacher' and lives in a all adult trailer park.

@ryassin4 That sounds like a weird book because hey rode a zebra to school.

I am reading The Beggar King and the Secret to Happiness by Joel Ben Izzy and I am on page 42. My book is full of things to be inspired by. One word to describe my book is inspirational. This is because a story teller lost his voice. Then he has to go through all these hard obstacles. His mother was a news reporter that lost her hearing. His dad was a violin player with a disease that makes it hard to move. Over all these things this book is very inspirational to keep trying.

I am currently reading The Death Cure by James Dashner and I’m on page 320. If I had to choose one word to describe my book I would describe it as suspenseful. I would choose this because there are multiple different points throughout the story where there’s life or death moments that keep you on the edge of your seat. For example Thomas has almost died multiple times. And also because there are many moments where people they have trusted may turn on them.

swilliamson2 said...

BRivera4 I've read that book before and i definitly agree with you.

Anonymous Jwinfrey5 i haven't read that book before but based on what you said that word seems like a good word to decribe the book.

The book I am reading is Enders Shadow by Orson Scott Card and I am on page 181. If I could choose one word to describe the book I was choose intelligent. I would choose that word because the main character, Bean, is more intelligent than anyone at the battle school. So is Ender Wiggin. In the book it says,”… he differs from ordinary human DNA (pg. 178)”. Bean genes were altered by a scientist who did experiments on babies to make them smarter. Intelligent is a perfect word to describe the story so far.

@NHerring4. he makes some good points.

@brivera that sounds like a good book.

I have finished reading the Death Cure, the author is James Dashner. I believe that if I had to describe the book with one word I would have to use the Faith. I say that because the main character is the cure to the main disease in the book. In reality he is faith to whats left of humainty before the disease kills everyone.

DDbecker4 said...

swilliamson2
I agree with you those are very much valid points.

I think thats a very good reason and also thats a very good book.

I’m reading Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff and I’m on page 33. So far the book can only be described as violent. I say this because in the first three pages there is a death threat a bar fight and a fight over a card game. In the rest of the book that I’ve read some one was also burned to death. So this book has a very violent start and I’m not sure if it will carry to the rest of the story. This is why I would chose violent to describe my book so far.

The book I’m reading is called “Lost Time” by Susan Maupin Schmid. I'm on page 85 in my book. One word I would use to describe my book is …mysterious. I choose this word because it explains all my characters in the book. Especially the main character Violynne. She’s a very dark person.

I am currently reading the book Tim Tebow through my eyes by Nathan Whitaker and I’m on page 120.Also if I had to choose one word to describe my book it would be humble I would choose this word because at first in Tim Tebows life he was really cocky and thought he could do anything by himself. But his mom showed him a scripture about being humble and that’s why when you see Tim Tebow on T.V. after he scores he isn't dancing or anything he prays because he remembers what his mom told him to stay humble. Also I would choose this because it is amazing how fast he changed from a cocky little boy to a man who cannot brag about himself to save his life.
