I'm still currently reading the book Don't Look Behind You by Lois Duncan pg 167. The main character is April and she loves tennis, hanging with friends, especially her boyfriend. Being that she loves all of those things I personally think she'd travel to Australia. Apparently it has one of the highest rankings of tennis. I believe April would enjoy it.

The book that I am reading is The Apothecary by Maile Meloy and I am on page 19. The main character is 14-year-old Janie Scott who was moved to London with their family. If Janie could go anywhere she would go back to Los Angeles where she used to live. Janie wants to go back because she is homesick living in London. She doesn't have any friends and she thinks the way people talk there is weird.

@Shughes6 I have read that book and I agree with you.

My book is Rules by Cynthia Lord I’m on page 200 and that’s the last page. If my character can travel anywhere in the world I would choose Miami because Miami is a nice and fun place to be and they have a nice beach. Miami also has a great college and football team and good schools. I was also born in Miami so that’s another reason why I chose Miami as a place to travel. Miami has great food and different people show of their cooking skills. Miami has great people and a lot of places you can visit down there that’s why I chose Miami as my choice for my character to travel.

I think my character Max would like to go back to New York because she felt like she belonged with her flock. She didn’t feel so freakish nor did she feel like an outcast. Max is the leader of the flock. She is very brave and she is only fourteen and she has wings! Crazy right? That’s why she would like to go to New York because there wouldn’t be many people that would be too normal.

I'm currently reading Tim Tebow a quarterbacks journey by Nathan Whitaker and im on page 9.Tim Tebow the Heisman winner would probably go to one place and stay there. The place he would go is the football field he loves it out there you can tell by the way he plays with excitement and passion for the game of football. Also he wants to make his goal by going to the NFL.The thing that was different about Tim is that he didn't just play like everyone else he owned the field and he did it in a spiritual way.I know this because every time he scored a touchdown he prayed.

@apatterson1
you forgot to include the page number the author and what book you were reading.

James Dashner, The Death Cure Pg 263

I believe that if Thomas could go anywhere in the world he would probably go to Alaska. I think this because Alaska has what would probably be the most mild climate. (keep in mind, solar semi-apocalypse) Another reason is that Alaska is bountiful in natural resources which to him and his friends would be important, because they need to be self-sufficient.

The title of my book is "after 2Pac" The author is Jaquelin woodson. One of the main characters in my book is Dee Foster. If she would travel anywhere i think she would go to New York. The reason she would go to new york is because New york is because this city matches her personality.

The title of my book is "Michael Vey: Rise of the Elgen" by Richard Paul Evans. If Michael Vey could go anywhere it would be Peru so he could find his mother. I know it sounds cleche' but thats seriously why he'd go there.

The book I just finished reading was "Cosmic" by Frank Cottrell. I finished the book on page 314. The main character, Liam looks like he's in his early 20's but is actually only 12. He keeps getting into trouble and everyone judges him for it because he looks like an adult and is expected to act like one. If he could travel anywhere in the world it would probably be Sierra Leone in the Netherlands, as he constantly states how interested in it he is.

Im just finished reading chomp by carl hiasson. The character i'm choosing is wahoo. I think that Wahoo would go stay home rather than go anywhere. He would want to stay with his dad because of his injuries. also he'd want to stay with his animals.

Framed by Gordon Korman, page 89. The character I chose was Griffin, and I chose Griffin because he was always the leader, and man with a plan in the book. If Griffin could travel anywhere in the world I think he would travel to a place where architects build things because, just like how architects plan things out before they build, Griffin is always planning something before he makes a move. Griffin would travel there and see how planning really works in architect’s ways. Sometimes Griffin plans are successful sometimes they aren’t successful so Griffin always comes up with another plan to have as backup just like an architect.

@sharriett4 the book sounds interesting.

@cnelson2 the character sounds very self-sufficient.

I finished Alfred Kropp and if Alfred wanted to go anywhere in the world i think it will be Knoxville. I think Knoxville because that's where he was all his life and that's all he knows. So Alfred would just would just stay home and do what he does regular.

@tbwilliams that sounds like a amazing book. I would like to read that book. Griffin sounds like a pretty cool guy. I hope you finish the book. Good job!

I read The Death Cure by James Dashner and I finished the book. Thomas, the main character in my book only lived to remember days after the Flare virus took over the Earth. If Thomas could travel anywhere, I think he would travel back in time. He would travel before the Flare got around. Then he could get the opportunity to experience life without all the chaos.

I read The Mortality Doctrine series by James Dashner this 9 weeks. These two books have been such a blast to read and it has been fun reading probably the fastest moving books I have ever read. I believe Michael, the person I have talked A LOT about in the past blogs, would really love to go to Japan. The reason is he surrounds himself with really high end technology all the time and the fact that he is a gamer and he loves it. And actually, if the VirtNet ever came to be, Japan would be the first place I expect it to go public.

ARossi2 said...

@ischleissing4 That is definitely what would I do if something like that ever existed.

The book I'm reading is The Cardturner by Louis Sacher and I finished the book. A character in my book is Lester. He is an old guy that loves bridge. I think he would like to go to the ACBL Museum. ACBL stands for American Contract Bridge League. The museum is filled with the history of bridge and winners of championships.

I'm reading 39 clues by rick Rodman and I am on the 42 page.if Dan could go anywhere he would go to a volcano. I assume he would because he is a very dangerous and bad person. He is not scared of anything. He takes risks and does not care about the dangers ahead.

My book is Twilight, the author of the book is Stephenie Meyer. I am on page 175, but I’m going on to a new book. I am choosing Edward Collin from my book. Edward is a beautiful vampire that Bella fell in love with. I think if my character could travel anywhere it would be his house. I choose this place because he thinks he can be himself there and not hide the fact that he’s a vampire (a dead person that has to act different around normal people).

csmith1 said...

The book I am reading is Enders Game by Orson Scott Card and I am on page 210. If Ender could go anywhere in the world he would go to Valentines new house. He would go there because he misses Valentine dearly. He is home sick still, but his family moved houses because they thought they would never see ender again. He would go to her new house so he could confront Peter about all the horrible things he did to him as a child.

@egauthier2 , Twilight is a great book and im sure he would love to go back to his own home.

The title of my book is "First Team" and the author is Tim Green and im on page 60. the character im choosing is Brock Nickerson. The place I think my character would travel is Washington DC. The reason why i say that is because it bring back memories his mom. And he loved the beach, and it had nice weather. Him and his dad had stay ducked off for a while.

zlstevenson said...

@egauthier2 why is everyone reading twlight?

The book im reading is "First team", and the last book i was reading was "The Juvie Three". Two comparisons I found is that they both like stay active. The reason i say that is beacause in the book "The Juvie Three" Kino loved to do everything with everybody. In the book "First Team" Brock was playing baseball until he moved but now he is playing football.

The book I am reading is "if I stay" by Gayle Forman. The main character I would choose would be Mia. She is in Acoma but while she is in it she has a bunch of memories of her past. I think one place that she would want to go is back to the past. Maybe back to the time her and her boyfriend were at the party. Mia was at a Halloween party where her boyfriend was playing songs with his band. Mia wasn't her original self, she was dressed like she was a "bad girl" and she thought her boyfriend would like her better. But after the party they had a Sentimental talk on how they both really feel.

I'm reading Warrior Cats: Bluestar's prophecy by Erin Hunter and i'm currently on page 122. The last book I read was Maximum ride and both relate with the fact that they are sorta battling the human population and a dog related animal. In Maximum ride they're running from what they call Erasers and in Warrior cat's their worst fear has to be the dogs roaming. One thing that they don't have in common is that in Maximum ride there is a human hybrid company going on behind their back but in Warrior cats they're just simply surviving like any feral cat.

I am currently reading a book called ‘Better off Friends’ by Elizabeth Eulberg and am on page 118. One of the main characters in the book is named Levi and he is from Los Angeles. Over a year ago he moved to Wisconsin and unfortunately doesn’t get to go back to Los Angeles often, so if I had to pick a vacation spot for Levi I would choose Los Angeles. Throughout the book, you can tell that Levi misses the place where he spent 12 years of his childhood; he occasionally makes small references followed by sad smiles. I also feel like he would want to take Macallan, the other main character, to meet all his old friends and show her the places he grew up

The book i am currently reading is Pretty Ugly by Karyn Langhorne Folan. The page that i am currently on is page 15. One of the main characters in the book is Jamee. Jamee hates school , not only do she hate school she hate doing work "Math work". Jamee hate school because she has an older sister that go to the same school as her so whenever she get in trouble the teachers like to say "Jamee you should be more like your sister Darcy" or when she do bad on a test they liked to say "You need to study harder, like your sister Darcy". The other reason why she hates school is because she dont like to do her math work because she thinks its a waste of time. But the place i think she would like to go is to a private school because she wouldnt have to worry about teachers comparing her to her sister Darcy "telling her that she should be like her sister". She would also like to go to a private school because they dont give alot of homework and its much easier. So basically she shouldnt have to worry about teachers at the private school criticizing her about how she should be like her sister .

The book I’m reading now is Hunger Games. The author of this book is Suzanne Collins and I’m on page 21. The book I’m using for compare and contrast is Warriors by Erin Hunter. The comparison of these two books is that they are both fantasy. Another thing they have in common is the main characters were normal at the beginning of the book but they became important and powerful person in the group later. The difference between two books is the main character, cats comes out in warriors and human comes out in Hunger Games. The other thing that is different is that in Warriors the main character has companion and friends in the group, but in Hunger Games Katniss has no friends on the same side in the beginning of the game.

If he could travel anywhere it would be back home because he can already travel anywhere and anytime he want. He is a time traveler. He would go home right know because he trabled back to Henry Hudson time and he could die.

I am currently reading The Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan and am on page 162. The character I chose from my book was Annebeth because she is the brains of the ship. She is the daughter of Athena(The War Goddess) and her father is a world renowned history guy. She dates another main character in the book (Percy Jackson) and has watched some of her closest friends right before her. Now she is a pillar of iron that stands strong even through the tough times. If she could travel anywhere she would pick Italy. She has dreamed about going there since she was 8 years old and has talked about it in her free time.

I just started reading The Youngest Templar: Trail of Fate by Michael Spradlin. I am on page 5. I think that the main character Tristan would travel to anywhere but where he is. Tristan is having some sort of nightmares and he's being attacked and just as he thinks its over they come back. Over and over and over again and he jus want to leave and for them to leave him alone. On the other they are helping him realize something, because every time they happen he doesn't know where he is.
