I am currently reading "Hollow City" (The Sequel to "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children"), written by Ransom Riggs and I am on page 57. In this story Emma Bloom is an old woman (87 years old, but lives in a young body... about the age of 14/15) who has the power to make fire from her hands. If she was able to go anywhere in the world I think she would go to America because that's where Abe lived. Abe was Emma's crush and boyfriend before he left to fight in the war, he moved to America afterwards to escape his past. Emma still hasn't let go of Abe even though she knows that he died earlier in the story, but the cause of that would be Jacob Portman's strong resemblance of Abe Portman. Emma would go there so she could feel... closer to Abe rather than going to Wales to save her mentor/carer; Miss Peregrine. That's why I believe Emma Bloom should go to America.

My book is I Even Funnier by James Patterson and I finished the whole book.If Jamie Grimm (the main character)would travel anywhere it would be to Hollywood.I think he would go to Hollywood because he is a comedian and he would want to meet other comedians and celebrities. And he would also want to meet the celebrities he didn't get to see when he couldn't go to Las Vegas for a comedy competition. He coudln't go to Las Vegas because he had to help take care of his Uncle Frankie because he had a heart attack.

I am finished reading The Heritage of Music by Katherine B. Shippen and Anca Seidlova. I finished at page 285. Amadeus Wolfgang Mozart is an outgoing, loud and humorous composer. If he had to travel in time I think it would be the 21st century. The reason why I think that is because since Mozart likes to be outgoing, the 21st century would be an exciting time for him since he was born the year 1756, plus if you were born in 1700’s and you’re a composer, you probably be curious what music would be like in the far future.

The book I am ready is WereWorld: Rise Of The Wolf by Curtis Jobling, Book 1 of the series. I am on page #70 of my book and my character's name is Drew his last name hasn't been show so far yet. Drew is a boy who grew up on a farm but he's not like his brother or his family, he sometimes turns into a half boy, half wolf or a werewolf. A beast broke into his house and killed his mother and his father thought that drew did it so he chased him away. I think the only place drew would want to go is home and back to normal with his mother back how it used to be.

I am reading the book The Land of Stories the Enchantress returns by Chris Cofler, I have recently finished my book. The main character in my book is Alex. Alex is a 13 year old girl who is the granddaughter of the fairy god mother from Cinderella. If Alex could go anywhere in the world I think she would go to the land of stories. Alex would want to go to the land of stories because she loves it there. Alex feels like she fits in there better than she does in our world. While Alex was growing up she dreamed of living in the fairy tale world, and now she actually there and she couldn’t be happier.

The book I have read is Percy Jackson and the Olympians the Lightning Thief, it is written by Rick Riordan and I have completed the book. Percy Jackson is a young demigod that lives in Manhattan, New York, and he is the son of Poseidon. If Percy would travel anywhere I think he would travel anywhere in the world I think he would travel to Olympus. I think he would travel here to Olympus to see his father, because demigods don't see their godly parents much. Percy has only seen his father once at Olympus when returning Zeus's Master Bolt. This is why I think if Percy could travel he would travel to Olympus.

My book is Warriors and the author is Eric Hunter. I'mon page 219. The main character is Firepaw. He is very brave and has loyalty to the clan. If he can travel the world he would go to Brazil. Brazil has many trees and forest. Firepaw and Thunder Clan's warriors would like there because they live in forest and there are the things they need. He would also like to meet other warriors in Brazil.

The book I’m reading is “The Enchantress,” by Michael Scott, I’m on page 160. The character in this book is Sophie, and right now she is back in time on an island that was destroyed 10,00 years ago. She just realized that the people she thought were normal, her parents and her aunt that isn’t related, really aren’t. If she could go anywhere in the world, she would go back home, but not necessarily to the present. She would go back to the Thursday her life changed, and just stay home from work that day. Her life would not have changed if she didn’t go to work.

I have just finished my book but I haven't found a new one the book I was reading before was Rules by Cynthia Lord. The main Character is Catherine and she is a nice person she usually put others before herself. Like she is always making words for her friends Jason and reminding her brother rules. I don't think she is much of a traveler I think she would just like to go to a friends house or something. Because she is always talking about making friends in the book and worrying about her brother ruining her friendship.

@hkim1 That sounds like a good book my brother read it before and he said it is good i might read it next.

My character of my book is Catarina Beniot, and I think if she could travel anywhere in the world, my character would travel to Florida. I think she would travel to Florida because she is “on the run” from her enemy, Rafe’. Florida would be a little more calmer for her, because where she is currently living is way too much for her. Texas is a “not so good” spot for here right now. It’s too big and she is risking her life.

I just started reading Deck Z by Chris Pauls and Matt Solomon.I'm on page 16.The main character in my book is Theodor Weiss.I think he would like to travel to Rome because Rome is a tourist attraction and it has a lot of history there.Theodor is a history type of guy and he also likes to travel.

I'm reading Rules by Cynthia Lord and I finished the book. One of the characters in my book is Catherine and she is very smart which you see because she knows a lot. But also Catherine is very creative because she always wants to make thing colorful and stand out. So if Catherine could go anywhere I think she would Italy. I think she would like Italy because she loves to draw and a lot of famous artists are in Italy. Anyways i really enjoyed this book!

I'm reading "Witch Hunt" which is written by Mark Aronson, I have finished the book as well. A character I think would in enjoy to be somewhere else in the world, is Tituba. Tituba was an African slave in the story. A reason I chose her for this blog is because, I think she would enjoy going Africa. I'm sure if she had the chance to go back to Africa , she would take it . Tituba would go to Africa because her family was there and she might also want to get out of Salem because she a slave.

The character I choose out of “All The Lovely Bad Ones” is Travis. If Travis could time travel I think he would go to the 60s . It seems like how Mary Downing Hahn describes in the book of more of a hippie or awkward guy. He seems like he would fit better there than in modern times. The book is told more modernly and Travis doesn’t seem to fit in that place. I’m also on page 163.

The book that i am currently reading is twilight by Stephanie Meyers.I am on page 168 one of the characters in my book is Edward he is a vampire and can sometimes be romantic. He a lover he likes Bella and tries to get her to like him.If Edward could go anywhere i think it would be at his house in the dark because hes a vampire he doesn't like light so he could just chill in his house in the dark. And they also like to sleep so i think he will sleep all day.

I am reading the adventures of huckleberry Finn. the character in my book is Finn. He is very brave and he is sorta always in a dilemma. So this book is in her point of view. I thing Ana would like to travel to an tropical island. I think she would go to an island is because she mentions that she loves the beach. She says she loves to swim and loves to be in the sun. she also like to go boating with her friends.

The book I am currently reading is 'Hurt Go Happy' by Ginny Rorby. I am on page 44. The main character is a girl named Joey. Joey is very adventurous, but she is quiet and observant. Joey is deaf, and likes being that way. Joey also loves seeing the outdoors and loves to see the branches sway in the wind, as the air takes them away. So, I assume that Joey would travel no where but from her back yard to the woods.

The book I am currently reading is the Scorch Trials by James Dashner and i am on page 345. The charicter I'd choose would be Thomas and if he could travel anywhere in the world it qould probably be anwhere far away from WICKED. Allof them constantlyly have to have their gaurds up so they dont get killed and they are always running from something or fighting back. I'm reading the giver that I have just finished the author is Lois Lowery. The main character Jonas would probably travel to a snowy area with lots of hills if he could travel anywhere. I say this because he always talks about how it was is first and favorite memory. Also he enjoys the white flakes that fall and the red sled that he had a the very top of the hill. If not that he would probably travel to a quite area that is really cut off and alone. I say that also because he had one memory where he realized he enjoyed the beauty of solitude.

The name of my book is Time TO Get Tough by Donald Trump and I'm on page 37. If Donald Trump could go anywhere it the world it would probably be the Oval Office to give our current president a piece of his mind. But then again it's not like he can't already do that himself. With a 7 billion dollar company you could travel anywhere in the world. He's probably traveled around the world once already paying out of his own pocket. Other than that he would probably travel to Washington, D.C. to let our president in on his opinion.

I am currently reading “Life As We Knew It” by Susan Beth Pfeffer and I’m on page 180. Miranda is the main character in my book. The whole world is a disaster and there is nowhere to go.

The name of my book is Slated by Teri Terry and I am on page 57. A character in this book is Kyla. If Kyla could go anywhere in the world, it would probably be school. This is because Kyla had her memory erased and she is sick of being alone and learning at home. Kyla wants to go out and be with fellow peers to make her feel happy. 'Slated' people like Kyla and her sister Amy lost their memories to have a fresh start in a new life. The only way they could survive is if they're happy, so Kyla thinks as school as a possible destination that could make her happy.

My book is The Grimm Conclusion by Adam Gidwitz and I am finished reading the book. The twins, Jorinda and Joringel, are very sweet but live with a strong resistance because they nearly lived through everything. The love the sight of each other and hate being apart. If they can travel anywhere in the world together, they would travel to their little home and sit with their mother underneath the Juniper tree. They love going under there and sitting with their mother (who fixed their relationship) and talking. So that’s where they would go if they can go anywhere.

The main character of this book name is Addie her perspective is the only perspective mentioned throughout this whole book so that is who I will be talking about. Addison also referred to as Addie is bullied so I think that she would like to get moved to a different school. She gets bullied because mean girls don't like her because she has the most popular boy in school as her boyfriend there for nobody really likes her she is also a loner or an outsider so nobody treats her as a normal person in society.Addie treats everyone with respect but nobody seems to like her. She only hangs with a crowd of 4 but those are only friends. One of the bullies in the book also said that she needs a makeover which she didn't but she thought that she did.

I am currently reading Allegiant by Veronica Roth and I am on page 138. The character I choose is Tobias, he is strong and independent. He went through things as a little child that makes him who he is, he grew up in Ablegation and transferred to Dauntless. He became the top initiative but became a tech person who works in the control room. If Tobias could go anywhere he wanted he would Hawaii, the main reason he would go to Hawaii is because is far away from where he is now. He can be free and do what he wants, he doesn’t have to worry about his mother or father. He can be his own person and not categorized in to a fraction and not feel like the cameras are always watching. Also because it’s a nice place for him and Tris to be together and relax because they’re so stressed and overwhelmed with the information they just received about the fraction and how everything occurred.

I recently finished reading the book "Paper Towns" by John Green. I am choosing the character, Margo Roth Spiegelman. Margo is probably the most misunderstood character I have ever read about, but that's what makes her so magnificent. No one understands Margo, not even herself. She is selfish and wanderlust and has a very unique view on the world and life itself. In my opinion, I don't think there is anywhere specific she would want to travel, but I think she would be inclined to travel somewhere she had never been before and knew nothing about. I think Margo would travel to a place where no one knew her name. Margo has no idea who she is and doesn't know herself at the slightest. She tends to run off to places she's never been to escape and try to discover herself but doesn't ever quite succeed.

In the book she lives right on the beach and she walks down to it, if she is not having a seizure or a fever. She says it’s the best place to be because it helps her cool down and think clearly.

@lpark1, I totally agree, if she loves plants a lot, she would definitely go to a garden.

@klynch4, That's kind of ironic. Also don't forget he loves art. I think he would more likely travel to Paris, or somewhere in Europe.

The book that I am currently reading is The Giver. Is is a very famous book that some of you might have read before. The author is Lois Lowry and I am on page 27. The protagonist is a kid named Jonas. He is a very polite ans sensitive boy. If he could go any where he would most likely want to travel outside of the Community.

The book I'm reading is called Breaking Point, and the author is Paul Langan. I'm currently on page 40, my character is a teenager who is going through a lot of stuff in her family. She is very kind and sweet and loves her family very much. And if she could travel anywhere she would go to the mall and shop with her friends, to forget about all the trouble that's happening at home. And to relax with doing something she wants to do instead of going to sleep.

My book is Game Changers Play Makers by Mike Lupica and my character is Ben. Ben plays many sports but in this book it’s about Basketball and I think Ben would go to an NBA championship game. He would choose this place because he loves basketball and would like to watch the professionals play. He often looks up to them as role models and hopes one day to play in the NBA. Ben is a point guard for his school and one of the best but he is challenged by another point guard on another team.

If my character could travel anywhere in the world I think she would travel to New England. She would travel there because in my book shes always saying that she would love to go and live in New England when she gets older. Catherine never stops talking about New England Either. The book that I was reading is Hatchet by Gary Paulsen. I have finished the book. I choose Brian. Brian is the main character who ends up in a plane crash in the Canadian wilderness on his way to visit his father. Even Brian could go anywhere in the world I think it would be back home in New York City. Before he left his mom gave him a hatchet for him to take to Canada. From then on that hatchet has helped him survive the wilderness for over a month. I'm also pretty sure he would want to go back home right away after being in the plane crash.

ACardoza5 said...

@HHershkowitz1 That makes sense for her to want to go to New England if she is always talking about going.

The book I'm currently reading is The Rose Society by Marie Lu. I'm on page 68 and the characters are even more fascinating than in the first book. One character in particular is Magiano. He's an elite, which means he has a special power as well was a scar that was given to him from blood fever. His power, is he can imitate any other elite's power. Currently, he wants the Kennetran queen's jewels and the entire Kenettran royal treasury. If he could be anywhere on earth, he'd want to be on an island he owns, in his castle, with the all the gold and jewels in the Kenettran royal treasury. He's always wanted to steal them and he's a exclusive person. On his own island and castle with all the gold and jewels he could possibly dream of is exactly where he'd want to be.

The book I am reading is Flawless by Sara Shepard and I’m on page 253. The character I chose is Allison, she’s like a real life Barbie doll and very opinionated. If she could go anywhere in the world she’d go to Paris because she loves to shop and always talks about going there. In the book, before she disappears she was talking to Emily about her perfect trip to Paris. Since she loves to go shopping, Paris is the best place to go shopping for expensive clothes.

I read Gathering Blue by Lois Lowery and I finished the book. Kira is a caring and gentle girl but everyone picks on her and brings her down because she is crippled and has a disadvantage. If Kira could go anywhere I think she would go to a different village where she is accepted and cared for. She isn’t happy in her own village so I think if she could go anywhere to get away from the people targeting her she wouldn’t pass up the offer. She might would want to go live with her uncle because he is her only family left also, but anywhere to get away from her village.

I am reading the "Graveyard Book", by Neil Gaiman. I'm currently on page 16. The character I've chosen a boy named "Bod" who is an orphan raised by ghosts. If he could travel anywhere in the world, it would be to a normal child-friendly home. With his actual parents that would look after him.

I'm reading "The Adventure of Tom Sayer" by Mark Twain and I'm on page 25. My main character is Tom Sayer. He likes to go on adventures and he is a adventurous person. The book I'm reading is WereWorld Rage of Lions 2 by Curtis Jobling, and I'm on page 16.The main character in this book series is Drew he was a simple farm boy in book one, now Drew is the heir to the throne of Lyssia. Drew is a were wolf shifter as his ancestors before him and he is the last were wolf shifter. If he could travel anywhere i think he would travel to the midwest because he misses his calm simple life and i think he just wants to live his old life again farming. Drew probably also travel there because i think since he is a were wolf he would like to se the moon and the stars away from big city lights.

My book is Path of Stars by Erin Hunter. I'm on page 120. My second favorite character's name is Gray Wing. He is a wise cat who has gray fur and really bad bronchitis because he was caught in a fire. If Gray Wing could travel anywhere, I think he would go back to his home in the mountains. He would do this to ask his people for help, because he and his friends are about to start a war for food.

If my character could travel anywhere in the world I think she should travel to Riomaggiore Italy. I choose this destination because it is very beautiful and has lots of water so she could lounge around instead of a place that would take a lot of walking.

I'm not really sure where Wahoo would travel because I don't know much about him yet. But what I do know is he loves animals so he might pick place where there is the biggest zoo in the world. He lives in the Everglades and they have all kinds of pets so that's why I think Wahoo would go to the largest zoo in the world.

The book I just finished is called Gathering Blues by Lois Lowery. The main character is Kira. She just learned that her father really isn't dead. Which is cool because I predicted that he really wasn't dead. If she could travel anywhere in the world, I think she would want to travel to Bora Bora with her father. I think she would want to go there because she has to work in the village a lot so the beach would be a really go relaxation spot for her.

The book I’m currently reading is The Power of Love by Elizabeth Chandler, which is the next book after Kissed by an Angel, and I’m on page 134. My favorite character is Ivy because she’s always there for herself. I think that if she could travel anywhere in the world it would be St. Augustine, FL. She would travel there because ever since Tristan helped her overcome her fear of water, she’s loved it. Florida specifically because most of the time it’s warm and Ivy wants to just float in the water with the sun kissing her skin and the water soaking her hair. When she’s in the water she thinks of Tristan and even though he’s dead, she feels like he’s there.

I just started reading the autobiography, “Pipe Dreams” by Kelly Slater and I am on page 36. The main character in this book is Kelly, himself, since he is telling the story of his life from his perspective. Kelly Slater is an eleven-time world champion surfer who was born and raised in Cocoa Beach, Florida. His achievements in his surfing career are so influential since he became one of the greatest surfers of all time even though he grew up in a place where the conditions of the waves were almost always consistently small. In the part of the book I have left off on, I think Kelly would choose to go to Hawaii if he could go anyplace in the world due to the fact that he has progressed in his skills since the last time he visited the North Shore. When Kelly was about ten years old, him and his brother went to Hawaii the first time. He was frightened to paddle out into the big waves so he didn’t surf much during that trip, but he later regretted his cowardly decision. Therefore, I think Kelly would like to go back to Hawaii so he could actually surf without feeling hesitant.
