The book I am going to start reading this week is the Hunger Games. Since I have not started reading the book, I am not on a page. i chose this book because they movie is out and I haven't seen it yet, and also because everyone is reading it and saying it is an amazing book. I really hope to enjoy this book a lot

I chose this book because the first one was interesting (City of the Beasts). In the City of the Beasts, Alex joined the International Geographic to see the Amazon and find the beasts. Alex changed through the whole journey, for example: he now has a better diet of things to eat. After reading City of the Beasts, I thought Kingdom of the Golden Dragon would be good too. The mini project i'll do for this book is a timeline.
The book I just finished reading was A time for courage, The Suffrage diary of Kathleen Bowen by Kathryn Lansky. I chose the book because I enjoy getting a 1st person perspective of historical events. I like the chronological order of the diary entries and the accurateness of events in the story.

the book i am currently reading is geek wisdom by stephen h. segal, and i am on page 86. the thing i like about this book is the humor, in that it shows a quote from a popular source and a description about the meaning and origon of it. it is quite funny by saying stuff like sheldon cooper laghs with nerds, while steve urkle laphs at them. i have not decided yet what mini project i am going to do yet.

The title of my book is The Giver. The author is Lois Lowry. I am currently on page 72. I choose this book because it was one of the books my sister and my teachers are always talking about. Basically my hold family has read this book but me. so I'm going to see if it is as good as they say. I am unsure what mini project I will attend at this time. But hopefully I can get back to you on that.

I have currently just finished reading Among The Hidden by Margaret Peterson Haddix.I chose to read this book because I heard from a lot of people about what a great book it is. Also the title just seemed so interesting and suspenseful. For the mini project I think I will probably do character emails between Luke the main character who came out of hiding to try to help third children,and Mr. Talbot the man who helped him get his fake ID in the first place. Over all this is a great book and I am looking forward to reading the series.

I have decided that I was not going to read the Hunger Games for this 9 weeks. I am going to read the Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks. I have not started reading the book yet but I am going to start either tonight or tommorow. The reason that I chose this book was because the movie came out not long ago and I have already seen the movie and loved it. I also like romance stories that sort of have a twist to them. The mini project that I am going to choose this 9 weeks is wordle.
The book I am currently reading is Blood Is Thicker and the author is Paul Langan. I am on page 11. I chose this book because I can relate to it in a way. It is about a boy who moves in with his uncle because his dad is sick and is loosing his stenghth. Hakeem (the main character, his dad, his mother, and his little sister all have to move in with their family. They go through a lot of arguments and bad choices in this crazy life of Hakeem. The mini project I will do is a collage.

My book is A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Begining by Lemony Snicket, I am on page 73. I chose to read this book because I have heard really good things about the series. I intend on reading the other twelve after I finish the first.
I am reading the book Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot. I am currently on page 26 but I haven't read it in a while. I chose this book because Jamie told me that I should read it because it has the word "princess" in the title so I listened to her. I started reading it and I was surprised at how good it actually was because I've never heard of it before. I also learned that this book is also a movie. I am planning to do the wordle for my mini project because I have gotten 100 on all the one's that I have done for this one.

I chose the book, The Fault in our Stars by John Green because the plot was amazing. It was funny and witty which made it even more fun to read. I just finished the book so I don’t have a page number. I love this book a lot and would recommend this book to anyone. I want to do a glogster for my mini project.

I am presently reading the Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan and im on page 60~. I read this book because it is part to a series. The series is Percy Jackson & The Olympians. I have read the first book and i really enjoyed it so i am starting this one. I find Greek mythology interesting and heard a lot of good things about this series.

Why aren't you going to read The Hunger Games.
I am currently on page 71 of Mockingjay, by Suzanne Collins. I chose to read this book because I finished the first two of the Hunger Game trilogy, and I want to read the book before the movie comes out. When the Hunger Games the movie came out, I loved it because I didn’t read the book. Once I finished the book, I thought the movie could’ve included much more. I might try and do the book leads or the word poem for my mini-project, because I think it will represent my book the best.

The book I read was The Bombay Boomerang by, Franklin W. Dixon. I am currently finished with the book. I chose this book because I love mystery, and because I love the suspense in all the Hardy Boys books. I also picked this book because I have been reading the Hardy Boys series since I was a little kid, so I wanted to read the next book in the series. The mini project I picked for my book was the Wanted Poster.

For this nine weeks I am reading Halo:Primordium by Greg Bear, and I am on page 216. I chose to read this book for multiple reasons. For one, I personally love the Halo franchise and the fictional universe its created. Second, I had to put off getting this book because I was busy rereading the previous book, Halo;Cryptum. The Halo books are a great read and a wonderful work of science fiction.
I am currently reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling, and I'm on page 40. I chose to read this book because I am trying to read the Harry Potter series, and I accidentally went out of order so I had to go back to this one. For this mini project I'm probably going to do a collage again. I also picked this book because my sisters said that the books are better than the movie, which they usually are. If they really are better than the movies then in my mind they must be insanely amazing because I'm a Harry Potter nerd just from watching the amazing movies. :)

The book I finished this week was Peter and the Secret of Rundoon, by Dave Barry and Ridley Peason. I chose to read this book because I had read book one and two of this series. Also, this book was more than 400 pages long. I am going to do book leads because it seems like the easiest one. It takes least time to finish it. Book leads is the first mini project I have ever done.

The reason I thought it was interesting is because the book genres were mystery and supernatural. I also looked really good because the book has all of the different mystical creatures such as witches, warlocks, shifters, faeries, werewolves, ghosts, vampires, and more! I also love books with unexpected twists at the end. The mini project I did for this book is the Word Poem.

I was reading Iron Thunder by Avi. I am currently done with the book. It's about a boy named Tom and his life in Brooklyn during the time of the Civil War. Tom also goes on the Monitor, the first Union ironclad, and fights the Confederates. I chose the book because the Civil War interests me.

I chose this book because it is widely popular and that I knew that when a book becomes the movie, it better to read the book because it explains full detail.
