Something that does not make sece in the book that I just finished to read is the Socs thinkg are better than the Gressers. THe reason it does not make sence to me is because deep down inside everyone is the same. No matter what you look like, what you believe in we are the same. Another thing that I dont really understand is why the Socs always tried to look though and everything and in the end they lost the battle with the Greassers. Sometimes it all matters what kind of a person you are and how much work you put in.
I just finished to read The Outsiders by S.E Hinton

Something that doesn't make sense about this story is the main character is Ben. His dad does not like bringing up the subject about his dead wife. I think that it is crazy just to forget the person because they die. He did not keep nothing that belonged to her. When they moved he gave away everything that belonged to her, I think that is weird. I am reading the book The Great Wide Sea by M.H Herlong and I am on page 43.

scrossley4 said...

Rstraub2, I agree with you we all have feeelings, we all have moods, and we all judge each other. I really like the Outsiders book and movie.

Something that doesn't make sense about this story is how a country so beautiful could be neglected. It's so awesome and full of adventure. If you put aside the Muslim Extremists and mosks you will see that even though people walk around dressed like nuns it's a great country. I love reading this book. Title: Pakistan. Author: Ann Heindirhcs. Page: 29.

~Rstraub2 Wow. that doesn't make sence at all.

I am reading a book called Blue Death. I am on page 230. I still do not have the book with me so I do not know the authors name. Something that does not make since in my book is that it is not good. I like mystery books. But not this one. Books about death are usually amazing. This one is not. I just do not like this book. But I am going to keep reading it just because I have to.

Something that doesn't make sense about this story is that the characters in this story turn against their best friend so easily. It makes no sense becasue they have pratically saved the world together almost six times and now they have decided to go against each other. Especially when they need each other the most.It also makes no sense because if you were friends you would not talk about each other behind each others back, let alone belive a rumor that your friend was talking about you behind your back.It makes no sense because if you say that ypu are frined s hwy would you give up on a friend that has been there since the very first day you foud out that you could travel through picture and that you are also a witch. That is the best friend you could have.

Twilliams03 said...

Something that doesnt make sense about my book is why percy can't see his dad. It doesnt make sense because i don't understand it they never directly explain why. I can understand not being able to see him but he could atleast pay child support come on. Oh and my book is the lightning thief.

that no staff or teachers ever notice vlad getting bullied. You think that would see it if it happens in the hallway where all the lockers are.At my old school teachers were always watching outside the classroom until we went into class.

Something that doesn’t make sense about this story is that the chorus teacher just made a concert and said that the students have to do it themselves. The chorus teacher isn’t going to help them. Also, he put his desk in a corner with his back facing the wall. I think that he is trying to teach the students a lesson and to not get out of hand or scream at the top of their lungs. I think that it would work but not for a concert that they have to put together themselves. I am reading The Last Holiday Concert by Andrew Clements and I am on page 71.

sdeemer2 said...

Rjames4,
I wonder why he can’t see his dad.

Twilliams03,

Something that doesn't make sense about this story is at the beginning, Percy's teacher turns into a demon thing out of nowhere. His friends were all there but nobody remembers that happened. He brings it up but people just look at him like he's crazy. I am on page 52 of The lightning Theif.

Something that doesn't make sense in my story is....how strange the characters are. The Main character L is addicted to sweets he loves to eat sweets all the time! L is the famous investigater who solves crimes no one els can solve. He was orphaned as a kid and taken to the wammy house orphanage where he could hone his skills. He recently got a case where a series of convicted fellons have been mysteriously dieng of heart attacks. He begins to work on the case with the Japanese police force. He sure didn't expect for the killer to be the chiefs son. How the murders happen is amazingly sup rising...

Something that does not make sense about this story called The Begining Place is that this guy who is like fourty years old lives with his mom still. He works at a store but when he finds this place that time stops in all he does is go there to sleep. It would seem like he would want to build a house of his own there expecily when there is a river right by his little camp. This dude complains but he dont ever try to do any thing.

jsandercook2 said...

Rstraub2, I totally agree with your opinoin on that.
scrossley4, That is very true if i lost some one dearly though i wouldnt want to talk about it most men like to hide there emotions.

The book I am currently reading is called Prama by Jamie Ponti. I am on page 70. Something that doesn't make sense about this story is why the time below the new chapter skips around and doesn't have a constant pattern. Like chapter one begins at the time 9:47 a.m. and chapter two starts at 12:04 p.m. Why doesn't it give a hourly update or a half an hour update instead of skipping around time. It's just to confusing!

kmedero2 said...

Rstraub2,
I see what you mean, that doesn'treally make sense.

kmedero2 said...

rjames4,
That sounds like a good book.

Something that doesnt make sense about my story is where the boy is. It seems to me that he cant make out where he is. The story starts out as the boy awakening and he is wondering where he is. The author still hasnt revealed where the boy is. One of his statements was he thinks hes in an ambulance. It is very confusing.

khunziker3 said...

My book is called Taken and I am on page 20.

Something that doesn't make sense about this story is.... Why Ronnie's mom and dad got a divorce. They never explain the reason. Her parents always fight and they ship there kids to different places. The Last Song is my book. Nicholas Sparks is the author, and I am on page 315.

khunziker3 said...

jtomlinson4 said...

The book I am reading is called Among the Hidden by Margaret Peterson Haddix. I am also on page 81. What I don’t understand is why his parents won’t let him interact with other people. His parents are really protective and he has never had a birthday party. He is starting to realize he is not the only person on earth. He isn’t really listening to his parents as he gets older. But I still don’t understand why his parents are so protective.

rstraub2: That book sounds weird.
scrossley: i wouldnt want to forget the person that died.

TLand4 said...

Something that doesn't make sense about this story is that Sadie and Carter's dad killed himself to summon gods. I mean if that were me I would choose not to kill myself in order for the complete opposite of what I wanted to happen, happen! You would think he would be smarter than that. After all he studied them all of his life. Then he ruins his kids lives, not intetionally, but still.

lmehan4 said...

The book I am reading is Confetti Girl by Diana Lopez. I am on page 63. Something that doesn't make sense about this story is why does the dad always read? All day he reads and doesn't take care of his daughter who needs him the most. He also just talks about books and he doesn't show his personality.

TLand4 said...

My book is the Red Pyramid, forgot to add that.

lmehan4 said...

jblumer3,
That's weird how they don't have a reason.

TLand4 said...

Once you get further into the series you will understand why he can't see his dad.

lmehan4 said...

They shouldn't forget a person just cause they die.

TLand4 said...

Trey,

You will totally understand that later on in that book.

I am reading The Maze Runner by James Dashner. I am currently on page 56. Something that doesn't make sense about this story is that the main character Thomas can't remember anything, and wakes up in a large, dark elevator shaft. When the doors open he is in a new world and doesn't know a thing about it. He can barley remember his own language or family and friends, he is without any knowledge of this savage new place.

The book that i am currently reading is The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. And the Page that i am currently on is pg.97.

Something that doesn't make sense to me about this story is... How she first tells the story about how she was kidnapped raped and murdered and then somehow is still living in a place called the in between. Its the place that you go to before you go to heaven or hell. It also lets you 'touch' the people that need to be helped with getting through your death. So what is really confusing me is how she is able to live with all of that without screaming her self to sleep every night up there in the in between.

tkeatley4 said...

My book is "The Lost Heroes", by Rick Riordan. I've finished this book(5seventy-something pages). Something that doesm't make sense about this story is that Percy isn't the main character, but Jason is instead. It doesn't make any sense because it's a continuation of the origional series,"Percy Jackson and the Olympians", which has Percy's name in it! Plus Percy is more popular than Jason. Hopefully Jason will grow on me by the next book in the series.:)

Something that does not make sense about the book I am reading, is how a group of teenage kids who are actually bird mutants, are able to buy like 50 burgers from McDonald's and nobody thinks it is strange. It's only when they try and order a lot at a fancy restaurant that people get suspicious. It also doesn't make sense that when the flock and some erasers get into a fight, people think their on a movie set. This would be a stupid guess since there was no camera, no movie crew, and nothing even resembling a movie set. The book I am reading is Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment by James Patterson. I am currently on page 334 and the people in my book (not the main characters) make no sense at all and they are all stupid.

The book I am currently reading is Bridge To Terabithia by Katherine Paterson I am on page 165z something that dosnt make scence about this story is that when Leslie dies, Jesse, who has become a great friend of hers, dose not even seem sad. Leslie helped Jesse open up and see the world in a better way. She helped him nit be so angry all the time but when she dies he seems perfecty calm. I did not understand that.

Something that doesnt make sence about my book is that Hannah is embarresed to hang out with her mom in public because she is embarrsing and she is also the ex boyfriend of this man who is like in charge of some type of company. The reason this doesn't make sence is because thats her mom. Even though i know it probally is embarssing to have a mom like that at least she has a mom and she shouldnt be ashamed of it. The book i"m reading is called Something, maybe by Elizabeth Scott. I am currently on page 60.

Something that doesn't make sense about this story is how the main character can still be fifteen after months of training with his knight as a squire, and then traveling for months and months on a mision for his knight. After all of that it adds up to about a year, so how can he still be fifteen?!?!? His friends also stay the same age, but he meets them later after a few months.

I'm reading the Big Nothing by Adrian Fogelin, and I'm on page 97. Something that doesn’t make sense about this story is… that you don't really understand the main characters point of view until he actually says something about the topic. Like he will think or talk about something, and then talk about something else. Also you can't really get what's wrong with his mom and dad, they never talk to each other and stuff like that. Also they never mentioned anything about them having issues with each other or anything.

She is a very smart girl that the teachers love.

The book I'm reading is called Bad***, by Ben Thompson. This book actually doesn't have a plot or story since it's like a compilation of biographies. The thing is that it isn't one of those boring "he/ she was born then they died" book, each biography is presented in a fation that makes them hilarious. But what doesn't make much since is that the author usually drifts away from the actual "main" character of each bio, and tells other, funny side-stories. This usually gets annoying because he only does it after some sort of witty or amazing joke.

But in my book, the main character, Paul, gets bullied there by one of the workmen. The workman grabs the main characters wrist and hurts him really bad. He terrorizes him by asking him all these questions about what he is always doing in the woods. The workman is very mean to the main character and the workman says that if Paul told that he would tell them your going crazy and he was trying to help him. I am reading Macbeth by William Shakespeare. I finished the book but something that doesn't make sense is the lesson of the book. The lesson, or one of them atleast doesn't really go and flow with the plot of Macbeth. The moral, I guess you could call it, is to let nature take it's course. Macbeth took it upon himself to make the kingship happen, and because of that, he and his wife, among others, ended up dead. So in a twisted kind of way the story, does, make some sense.

Something that doesn't make sense about this story is that it has emotions and is realistic, but could never happen. I am reading Cirque Du Freak. I'm on page 132. the author and main character is Darren Shan.It is about vampires, wolves, and a vampire like race called the Vampanes (the difference is they are purple, have red eyes and hair, and kill those they drink blood from.) If i didn't know better, i would believe every word of it.

My book is called The Seventh Daughter. By frewin Jones. Finished. Something that doesn't make sense about this story is that Cordelia barely talked to Bryn. When, obiously they had alot in common. She should of made a move or at least made an effort to talk to him more. I could tell he really liked her and she really liked him.

tfowler3,
I'd really like to read that book some time.

jwang4,

I am reading Cracker by Cynthia Kadohata. I am on page 195. Something that doesnt make sense about my book is how Willie met his dog Cracker. It starts with him and his dog hanging out in his room and then it goes to Willie and Cracker going into war. It hasn't really explain much about them meeting. I have read the book before so I hope I will catch something that I missed last time.

Something that does not make sense in my book is that Amy and Dan were born into a family that has some sort of race that you can ether pursue the race and find the clues for an unknown prize or quit and get a million dollars. So far Amy and Dan chose to stay in the race because they knew there grand parents wanted them to. I am now on page 143 of my book "The 39 clues " by Jude Watson

The book I am reading is the Vladimir Todd series. I am on Ninth Grade Slays. The author is Heather Brewer and I am on page 30. Something that doesn't make sense about this story is how Henry Vlad's best freind does everything he says. In the book it said he bit him since he is a vampire but I didnt get how it makes him follow orders. It still doesn't make swnse so I am going to keep reading it and find.

aadusiaw3 said...

Rstraub2
Yeah I didn't get that when I read the book either.

I am reading the book The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. I am on page 112. The author is Mark Haddon. Something that doesn't make sense about this book is that the main character's father lied to him about his mother dying. The book does not explain why yet. I hope to find this out later in the book.

rstraub2,

That book is really good!

The book I am currently reading is called "The lord of the rings", its the trilogy, or all 3 books in one. The author's name is J.R.R. Tolkien. I am on the last book in the last chapter. I think there is 4000 pages. Anyway, something that does not make sense in this book is how the fellowship doesn't stick together. If the nine of them stayed together they would survive and wouldn't lose anybody. Also how the orcs attack in small swarms not in big swarms, the bigger the swarms the better the chance of survival.

mbooth3, That is a good book.

The book I am currently reading is Brett Farve: Star Quarterback. I am done with the book and the author is George Rekela. Something that doesn't make sense in this book is nothing. Everything in this book make sense. Brett Farve works very hard to keep his spot and produce on the field.

jbills3, That does sound confusing.

Something that doesn't make sence in this book is that theres a random pet that Meggie thinks is a dog, but it has horns. I don't get why Meggie in my book is so clue less. I am currently reading Ink heart. I am done with this book. The author is Cornelia Funke.

The name of the book I finished is Holes. The author is Louis Sachar. Something that doesn't make sense about my book is how didn't the people at the shelter not notice Stanley was never there. Stanley was arrested for stealing the shoes when really he was innocent. At court none of them said they saw Stanley steal the shoes. So how did they know he was the real one that stole the shoes.

The book I am reading is That Summer by Sara Dessen. I am finished with the book. Something that does not make sence is that the main charecters sister lies to her and her friends. just to get a guy. She lies about her friends to make him not like them, she is really mean in the book.
