This week's blog is open-ended. Discuss your book. Perhaps there is something specific in the book you wish to talk about. For example: you could discuss how something made you feel, connections you have with the characters in the book, thoughts the book sparked, etc. You may discuss anything you want as long as your blog post is DETAILED, contains SPECIFIC information from the book, and it is clear you put effort into it.

Remember, to receive full credit your post must be 5-7 sentences long. You must include book title, author, and current page number you are on.

The book I am reading is called Princess Diaries. I am on page 76. The author is Meg Cabot. SO far my book is kind of boring. Although, I think it is going to get better. Mia found out she is a princess because her crazy grandmother from Genovia has come to have tea with her.

My book is not that cool. If you are a girl than you could probably relate to this but since im a guy it’s kind of stupid. But there are things that are funny like when she gets fired for putting shampoo in her customers’ eyes that’s pretty funny. All in all it's a pretty good book for teens with summer jobs. The book I am reading is my almost epic summer by Adele Griffin and I am page 27.

The book I am reading is Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo. I am on page 54. Well, my book is kind of boring. Yet, there is a positive side! Opal's dad is considering Opal's new friend...The dog. Hopefully, her dad will let her keep him. I’m just going to say that you might want to watch the movie because it's more interesting!

The book I am reading is called Gone. The author of my book is Michael Grant. I am on page 483. I am close to the end and it's really good. It's about these kids that where one day at school and their teachers disappeared. They didn't know why and they didn't know how but they sure weren’t going to just sit around. So, they all went on an adventure and the soon realized that it wasn't just their teachers it was every adult out there. They all got scared at one point and where determined to get to the bottom of the situation.

Maximum Ride The Angel Expirement
BY: James Patterson.
PG:270
I felt thet the main character Max relates to me alot. Max is a hard worker who always trys to take of her family as much as she can. She does this by saving her family from erasers. she also goes and finds food for them to eat. I like how the book is very specific and uses word like unflutter when she talks about spreadinig her wings. I also enjoy the action. In the first 15 pages theres an action scene where max and her brothers and sisters fight erasers it was so epic!

The book I'm reading is "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe." The author is C.S. Lewis and I'm on page 30. The book so far is really boring. There are four humans who are the main characters. Lucy Pevensie is the youngest child, next there is Edmund Pevensie, then there is Susan Pevensie, and last the oldest is Peter Pevensie. These four characters are soon to be kings and queens of Narnia. The boys are sons of Adam and the girls are daughters of Eve, in Narnia. Each children have there names that are given to them, Lucy is Queen Lucy the Valiant. Edmund is The Willful Brat, Susan is Queen Susan the Gentle, and Peter is High King of Narnia. Lucy loves to use her imagination and the other children says she needs to grow up. This book is based on the movie. But so far I don't recognize anything. I really hope the book starts to get interesting.

The book I am reading is I Am Number Four By Pittacus Lore and I finished the book. One thing I really didn't like about the book (or the movie) is that there is no action until the very end. It has a lot of mystery through out the book like when John finds a dog outside of his house and he has no idea where it came from. I really like the characters in the book, even though the main character is an alien he acts perfectly normal. Overall this book is really good and I can't wait for the sequel.

The book that Tristen Adams, me, is reading is not an awesome book at all. The only thing that is good about Tristen's book is the fact that it is a simple book and I can still use it for my project. So the book that Tristen Adams is reading on this very day, Tuesday March 15st, is called Hollywood Hulk Hogan. Its soooooooooooooooooooooooo boring.

The book I am reading is Romeo And Juliet by William Shakespeare. I am on page 135. So far I really enjoy reading this book. I was a huge fan of Twilight but im starting to think that the Twilight author stole alot of things from this book. Another thing is that Juliet really bothers me. I dont know what it is but I hate her, I think its because of how young and nieve she acts. Before I started read this book I always thought the two starcrossed lovers would be older than me, but they are younger! Juliet is 13! I love this book but it is hard to understand sometimes and very drama filled! This book reminds me of a soap opera!

Sadie is better at magic than her brother Carter. Carter is made a warrior, so he is better with a sword.

I am reading the book Watcher in the Woods by Robert Liparulo. I am currently on page 147. So far a stranger is seen lurking around the house several times before he announces himself. He is Mr. Taksidian, a powerful businessman in town who is set on buying the house from the Kings. When they refuse, Mr. Taksidian looks for other ways to get the Kings to leave. The truth is, they would be more than happy to leave this house and town behind, but not without their mother. The family unites to do everything they can to withstand the forces they are fighting against.

The book I am reading is Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment by James Patterson. I am currently on page 163. So far my book is really interesting and keeps leaving me at some sort of climax. First Max and her "family" are attacked by a group of Erasers, who are like werewolf beings, and the youngest, Angel, gets kidnapped. Max, Fang, and Nudge leave to rescue Angel; while Iggy and Gasman have to stay behind. While Max and her group are away, Iggy and Gasman build a bomb and blow up some Erasers. While Iggy and Gasman are fighting the Erasers; Max stands up for this girl who is about to get beat up, but Max gets shot. My book is very creative and amazing because it deals with the lives of teenagers who are part bird and have wings. I definitely recommend it!

My book is Eldest by Christopher Paolini. I'm on page 482 (PHEW:(). I only have one negative comment on the book, it's a very tedious read when you're counting down the days before the mini-project is do. I've been reading like crazy over the past week. Still a good book though. The main character Eragon is going through a lot of changes in the book. He's making transitions to his training with Oromis and he's struggling with his relationships with the people like Aurya, his cousin Roran, even his dragon Saphira! My life isn't as troubled as his but I feel kind of stretched out at times with my fundraising and my solos for church. I've decided to end a relationship with a certain girl that's non-respondant. But life's gonna get better when summer's here and I go on tour!

The book i am reading well actually just finished reading is called Waiting for you by Susan Colasitiani. This book had about 300pages in it or something like that. This book made me feel a lot of emotions. First of all it made me feel happy because at the end of the book the main character and this boy Nash really hit it off and they had a lot in commen. Throughout the book I was rooting for them to get together because they make a really good couple. This book also worried me a little because this one boy she was with Derreck was not a good boyfriend for her at all. All he wanted was one thing( i can't mention what it was) but she was to stupid to realize what she was getting herself into. This book also made me really upset because I really can't stand when girls spend all this time worrying or loving a boy who really doesn't care about you. Like really don't waste your time on boys who are immature, selfish, and stupid!(nora that's for you.) >:(

I am reading a book called "the outsiders"by S.E Hinton. I am on page 50. My favorite part of the book is when Pony-boy,Two-Bit, and Dally went to a movie. Everything was just find until Dally the bigger brother began to act like a jerk. He began to pic on the two girls that were in front of them. Dallas was a greaser and the girls were socs.He began to talk dirty and disrespect the two girls in anyway he could. When finally he left to get a drink the girls turned around and looked at the other guys and asked if the would mess with them to? The other guys said no! As Dally got back he had some coke for the girls and and tried to give it to them but they through it right in his face, and Pony-Boy and the other boy told him to leave them alone and he did. The two girls turned around and thanked them and asked the two guys to sit with them and keep them save.

The book that I am currently reading is called Brisingr by Christopher Paolini and I am on page 375. In the beginning of this book Eragon is told that his father is Morzan by his brother Murtagh. Murtagh found this out by learning who Eragon's mother was and when Eragon was born and that Eragon's mother disappeared after his birth. When Eragon learned of this he was upset that his father was a terrible man, he learned that you can't control who you parents are. From this I learned that no one or thing can control what kind of world that they are born into.

Sense we have been doing poetry i have not gotten the chance to get a book from the library plus it has been closed. So i still have the book "secret agent on flight 101" by Franklin w. Dixon. It was an awesome book it always had a really good cliff hanger at the end of each chapter. The reason i like the hardy boy series is because the author is always keeping you at the edge of your seat and i just want to read more. The book is about the hardy boys trying to solve a case but each time they get close to solving it some one sabotages their plan. In the end they find out that the saboteur is who they thought was on their side but really was a secret agent for the bad guys.

She got this idea because she wants to save her family because her mom, brother and grandmother are fairy tale characters. She wants her family back so that is why she wanted to make this adventure into the woods. That was the topic i wanted to discuss because it made me realize what the book would be about.

The book i am currently rading is called Uglies by scott Westerfeld, and imm currently on page 112. Something that stands out to me is their way of life. In my book at the age of 16 the kids get surgery. I mean head to toe down surgery. Not only does this sugery affect their outside but their insides also. It changes their habbits.

My book is called Mystery of the Bamboo Bird by Carolyn Keene. I am on page 169. I think that the character Malee could have hidden the statue alot better then on her window sill. If she hadn't left it in the open then the book would have ended on the 4th page. Anyway she should have been smarter then what she did before.

Kfundenburg4, Sounds weird and cool.

kyoung2, Well I guess I don't have to worry then.

My book is Abuducted by Peg Kehret. I am done with the book. The major event in my book is when a boy named Matt Scholter is taken from his elementary school but the man that took him was his dad. His dad thought out a very creative and effective plan. He bought a pair of dark brown pants and a dark brown button up shirt he then ironed on a UPS loge to look official. He lured Matt's dog out of the back yard with a stake and threw the collar in the bushes. He had never seen his son because he left his wife after she got pregnant but he could tell who his son was because he looked so much like him. When he went to the school he signed in as a delivery man in the office. He then found Matt in the hallway and told him that his dog was hit by so his mom said to come get him. Matt didn't believe him until he saw the dog in the car then he went with him. This made me realise how smart criminals have become. They plan for months about one scenario without anyone knowing.

The book I am reading is Phantom of the Auditorium. I am done with the book and the author is R.L. Stine. One thing I liked about the book is how it keeps you guessing about what might happen and who might be the phantom. It's some-what scary but at times it can be a little funny too.

My book is called House of Dark Shadows by Robet Liparulo. I just finished the book. I think I can relate to the main character Xander. He is sixteen and is always super curios about things. He also really enjoys movies and wants to be a director when he grows up. Also e had to make one of the hardst movs of his life, from Pasedena to the middle of nowhere. I'm theexact opposite. I made one of the best moves of my life from a farm in New Jersey to Gainsville.

I was reading Telling Christina Goodbye by Lurlene McDaniel. The book was so so good that I spent my whole saturday reading the book. It's an awesome book and it has a sick twist on it. The book is about these four seniors who have known each other their whole life. Christina and Tucker date and Trisha and Coday date so it is a group of friends who happen to date on another I guess. Tucker is a major butthead towards Christina and her excuse for everything that he does to her is "He loves me, and I love him" or "It's all my fault I should have done that." Reading this book made me think about a relastionship I use to be in. I don't regret putting effort in the relationship, but sometimes your friends see things you can't see and that you should take what they tell you to heart. As you can tell by the title it's obvious that something happened to Christina. Well I will tell you that Christina dies ina car accident that her boyfriend, Tucker, caused. It's sad when you think about it, but this book WILL make you second guess life and the things that happen in it.

My book was Breaking Dawn by stephanie meyer. I dont really understand how a frozen 17 year old vampire could have a kid with a human. I mean I kinda understand it but Edward is frozen at 17 and Bella's human. It kinda is confusing. How can he have children but not girl vampires?

My main chaercter Ella is the Cinderalla and she meets the prince. The prince takes her in the castle and have her be taught how to be a princess but she have second thoughts about marry the prince and becoming a princess. She does not even know him that well. The book I am reading is called Diary of a wimpy kid: the last straw. I am on page 76. The author is Jeff Kinney. SO far my book is awesome. Somebody just needs to explain that to Greg’s father. You see, Frank Heffley actually thinks he can get his son to toughen up, and he enlists Greg in organized sports and other “manly” endeavors. Of course, Greg is able to easily sidestep his father’s efforts to change him. But when Greg’s dad threatens to send him to military academy, Greg realizes he has to shape up . . . or get shipped out.
