amonari2,
I believe every one was also out on this Earth for a reason.
The book I am currently reading is caled The Ghost Sitter. The authors name is Peni R. Griffin, and I am on page 20. The books point of view is being told from the narrator. "Moving was a heck of a way to spend the first day of vacation, but Charlotte was too glad to get out of the apartment to mind much." This is an example to why I think my books point of view is being told by the narrator.
Kfundenburg4,
That sound like a good book. Where did you hear about the book from??
The book I have just finished reading is called Bad Girls Don't Die by Katie Alender. My book's point of view is a high school girl named Alexis. The book I am reading is The missing: book 1 FOUND. The author of my book Margaret Peterson Haddix. The point-of-view of my book is from Jonah (the main character.) The author is telling the story through her but as if it was Jonah. For example when its telling what the characters are doing.
djohns2
sounds good
kfundenburg4
Sounds really good hope your enjoying it!
The story is being told by the main chracter in my book. Matt Cruse. An example would be when he says himself "I asked her whether what she was saying about never getting married was true" this is a great example becasue he says "I asked her" therefore letting you know that the story was being told from his point of view. He says this because ealier in the book kate said that she was never going to get married because she thinks all men are those type that do nothing and expect the women to do all the cleaning the cooking and everything else a wife does but she says that she refuses to be held back so she claims that ahe is never going to get married.Or is she? The world may never know well except me because I'm reading the book so i guess not evryone may never know...anyway thats how i know the story is being told from Matts'point of view.
TITLE:STARCLIMBER

eblasberg2,
I don't think it is told from harry's point of view if it said Harry pictured himself winning the tournament if it was told from Harry's view it would have said I oictured myself winning the tournament.

The book i am reading is twisted by Laurie Halse Anderson. i am on page 172. My book is told from ist person. The main character tyler is the one telling the story. One example is when he goes to a party he describes that he smells lots of beer and cologne. He says that he sees lots of kids dancing and drinking. He also says that the music they were playing was way too loud.
amonari2
your book sounds really cool where did you find it
The book I am reading is All The Lovely Bad Ones by Mary Downing Hahn. I am on page 155 and it is a horror book. I think it is in the first person point of view. The main charater says I,me,and We. The reason why I think it is only first person because he is always saying I. This is an example ''Corey and I didn't look at each other for fear we'd laugh and give ourselves away.
djohns2 We learned about the point of view and I think you got it mixes up with the main charater.

Every time Vlad does something like gets a bag of blood to drink it will say "I went to get a bag of blood". Instead of "Vladimir went to get a bag of blood". At some parts in the book it's being told from an evil character named D'ablo's Point of View.

I am reading a book called "Into The Storm" by Karen Hesse and I am on page 60. The book that I am reading is being told by a first person. The reason I know that is because this young girl wrote this book to tell and show everyone about her hard life. It tells how hard it was to keep a family together at that time. Mr.Lincoln was the president at that time, and when he has finally arrived in Washington everyone began to say that he will not be able to keep everyone togather.

The book I am reading is Zoobreak by Gordon Korman. I am on page 175.
The point of view is third person because it tells what every body is thinking in the story. The reason i know why it is third person is because in one part of the story two of the five main characters are talking on how to rob the boat and it goes back forth of what they are thinking.
The point of veiw witch my book is told from 3rd Person. I know this becuase the narerator uses words like he, them and other wors like that. My Book is Chasing Licons Killer. By Jame.sSwanson. I'm on page 140
The book i am reading is 1421: the year china discovered america by Gavin Menzies. I am done with the book. This book is in a first person point of view. The book it ways " i was amazed by the facts that were there."

eblasberg2,
I read that book. Its good
My book is "Fablehaven" book one by Brandon Mull. I'm on page three-hundred-nineteen. My book's point of view is third-person ominuous. I think it's because of the multiple main characters. Usually when there are more than one main character in a novel the point of view is third-person ominuous.
jwang
CHINA DIDN'T DISCOVER AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
smoushey
That just shows that a book does't need characters to be funny.:)
The book I am reading is Dark Flame by Alyson Noel. I am on page 77. I think the point of view is first person. Ever tells the story and the readers know what her emotions are. In the book most of what she says is I which means its first person.

The book i just finished reading is called Counterfeit son. It had 180 pages and it was written by Elanie Marie Alphin. The point of view is from the narrator and from the main character cameron/neil. A example from the book is when the author says"Waiting for you," he said, squinting at the son. It's from the narrator because she says he said. Camerons not saying I said.
@jbaptiste2,
I dont see how people can read books about stuff like that. I would be tooo BORED..!
@kfundeburg4,
That sounds like a good book girl.
The book I am reading is Watership Down by Richard Adams. I am currently on page 372. The point of view in my book is 3rd person omniscient. This was very easy to know because none of the characters use I or We. Also because there is a narrator telling the story and they know all the characters' thoughts and actions. I am almost done with this book.
llindsey3,
That would be a 3rd person point of view.
kyoung2,
So your book is using a 1st person point of view? That sounds like an interesting book.
The book I was reading was Prom by Laurie Halse Anderson. I think the point of view is from Ashley (so first person i guess). It tells about all the things about prom from her view.

llindsey3
That sound like an interesting book
djohns2
In a way your book sounds like mine. I bet that's a strange, but good book
The book I'm reading is "Makeovers By Marcia." The author is Claudia Mills. I'm currently on page 74. The point of view used in my book is third person point of view. It's like someone is looking into Macia's life and writing it down, not a biography. Examples: The book never says "I or Me." It always says Marcia does that, Marcia does that. I really enjoy reading this book.
The book i am currently reading is Alexander Hamilton the framer of the constitution. I'm on page 105. The character thats point of view is narrator. Because narrator is telling the story. he was a leader of the American Revolution.
The book I am reading is Deenie, the author is Judy Blume. I am on page 55. The character that is the point-of-view is Deenie. She point that she is trying todo what her mom says but wants to have fun with her life. But doesn't want to upset her mom.

That is one of my favorite topics to read about.
The book I am reading is 'Waiting for normal' by: Leslie Connor. I have finished my book and the point-of-view my book is presented is 1st person. I believe that it is because "Addy" the girl who is writing the book is talking as if she is taking everything she sees. When she talks she puts "I" and "me". Throught the whole book she is in 1st person point of view telling the story but she is still in the story.
kmedero2,
Your book from the authors point of view sounds interesting from the little information you gave.
jblumer3,
Turns out we are reading the same book. I agree completly.
The book I am currently reading is called "The Halloween Tree." The author's name is Ray Bradbury, and Im on page 41. The book that I am reading is uh huh the story of ray charles. I finished the book already. I think the point of view is the narrators, or the author. there isn't a main charactor but there is a person that the books about. My book is a good book it shows that not everyone gets things they want by being born in a family.
kfundenburg4
Your book seems good was it?
kyoung2
your book sounds cool.
The title of my book is Lincoln: As I Knew him. The author of my book is Harold Holzer. I am on the last page 193. The point of view in my book is the view of people who knew Abraham Lincoln. It is collections of letters and factual documents not by the president, but by different people who knew the president such as Marry Todd Lincoln his wife. It shows how other people viewed him. Not necessarily how he viewed himself.
Kmedro2~
Your book sounds really cool.

The book is written as a diary and she keeps tab of her day by day adventures as a broke college student and the struggles she goes through. The tiny tales are true stories from her history before becoming a writer.

sosman4,
I seen you reading that book in class. It sounds like a girly book, but it also sounds like it has a twist too.
I am reading the book the Cover Up. It is about a kid reporter that is hired by a sports news station called USTV. He soon is fired but his best friend and co-host is still on the show. He then gets to work for CBS and the Baltimore Herald. This book is told from Stevie's point of view. He is the main character.
@kfundenburg
That book sounds creepy and scary from just reading the title.
@cmazza
That sounds like a book that a girl would really like to read.

Your book sounds very interesting.

jbaptiste2,
Your title caught my attention.
djohns2,
Getting throught alot of trouble to get any little thing done is such a hastle.
bwalton2, that book sounds really boring.
I am reading Dead is the New Black by Marlene Perez. I am on page 170 and I think my book is being told from the main character's, Daisy, point-of-view. I think this because of sentences in the book that say "I" did this, "I" did that. One sentence that leads me to this conclusion is "'I don't know,' I admitted." Daisy is saying that she doesn't know something and that she admitted it. I think the point-of-view in this book if pretty obvious.
eblasberg2
I love the Harry Potter series. I think they are told more from a narrator's point-of-view though.
Cmazza3
I almost bought that book, actually. Is is any good?
The book I am reading is called John Adams: 2nd President of the United States. The author is Rebecca Stefoff. I am done with the book. The point of view is from the narrator. It just talks about how John Adams grew up and what his life was like.

~djohns2
Isn't it a series. If so, what book is it in the series?
~Jbaptiste2
I LOVE the Percy Jackson series.
The title of my book is Nobody's Daughter. The author is Susan Beth Pfeffer. I just finished the book. I believe that the point of view is being told from Emily (the main character).
