The book i'm currently reading is The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks and I'm on page 101. I've realized that me and the character Ronnie have the same attitude and we tend to act out the same way. But I haven't been arrested for any crime and me and my dad have an okay relationship. She's good at the piano and her dad was famous. We both do things to tick off our parents and don't really have a care about people words. I have a little bit more patience than Ronnie and my attitude is way better than hers. The character Ronnie and i resemble each other a lot because of our attitudes and how we like to party, but also have common sense. To me i think Ronnie gets in trouble to see if her parents really care and she continuously does inappropriate things and make dumb mistakes so that her parents will discipline her and show her that they care about every action she does.

I'm reading Adduction by Peg Kehret. I am on page 75. A connection between this book and real life is that the Kids get picked up from school every day, like we do. And the girl rides the bus with her brother and I ride home in a car with my neighbor. But that all changes when the little brother gets kidnapped. After that I have nothing in common.

The book that I am reading is called "Secrets in the shadows" by Anna Schraff. I am on page 120.
This book that I am reading has a lot of stuff that happend to me before. When Roylin (main character) finds something that he knows or has a feeling that is his, he will not give up untill he has it. I am like that too many times. Roylin is a very careing sweet person. I most of the time find mybself very carein and sweet. Roylin in the book thought that one of hiz old friends died, so he waz going out of hiz mind trying to see if it really happend or not! I am te same when my uncle died last year i waz goin crazy saying that can't be true!
So I think that Roylin And I have a lot in common!

The book imp reading is wringer by jerry spinally and imp currently on page 90. The character imp like in my book is palmer whose birthday is not all that great. For starters he woke up to a loud bang on the door from his mom saying wake up because his friends are coming over. Me I have to wake up early because my birthday is always on the week-end and I never ever get sleep on my birthday. Plus I and palmer have friends that we are totally different from because we see things from first person.

My connection between my book and my current life-style is very far apart. I mean really, my life doesn't involve Greek gods and goddesses. My books name is Percy Jackson and the Olympians sea of monsters. But there has been trouble with Percy that i have had at school like when he was at school he had trouble with the teachers.

I am reading Uglies by Scott Westerfeild. I'm currently on page 340. I have realized that both I and the main character Tally both think the same way. We both think that we could have done a lot better in the way we act, and not lie to people just to show them we are on their side. Just by thinking the same as the character in the book, and placing my self in her point of view, makes the book a lot more enjoyable to read.

cmazza3 said...

jdelgais,
I have read that book, when I was younger, and it was quite an interesting read. I hope you enjoy it.

The book i am currently reading is The Upstairs Room. It is by Johanna Reiss. I am on page 160. In one part of the book she is my age and she seems like me. Our attitude seems to be the same. How we do things also are very alike!

The book im currently reading is called frenemies. Alot about this book relates to me and my freinds. One of those things is that the main character Jayd has two freinds that are having problems with each other, and so she's stuck in the middle. Another thing is that she's having drama with both boys and girls. Her drama with boys is that her boyfreind is hiding secrets, and the girl drama is with her boyfreinds ex. Me and this character Jayd resemble alot because we both have a firey attitude, and don't really care about what people have to say.

ajohnson3 said...

The book i am currently reading is Kingdom Keepers. the author is Ridley Pearson. I feel that Finn (one of the main characters) and I are alike in many ways. His imagination and intelligence seems to go a long way just like mine. Also his need for guidence to help him through tough times and confusing situations are similar to me too. We both have questions about life and the ability to think out the box, even if it happpened in a dream, or maybe real life.

apinkney3 said...

lbrown4,

Well my book is called French Kiss and it really doesn't have too much to do with my life. I guess it has to do with two girls liking the same guy and my friend and I like the same guy. The page I am on right now is 28. The author of French Kiss is Aimee Friedman. There aren't that many connections between my book and my life, even though it is Non-Fiction.

The book that i am currently reading is called, "found" by Margaret Peterson Haddix.I am currently on page 30. I relate to a girl in the book, the sister of the main character, named "Katherine" is is very sassy and has a lot of thought. Her and i both do things to make our brothers mad. For instance, telling him that he has legs and making him get something his self. So far i think that katherine is going to get into a lot of trouble with her parents. She seems like she would because she has a bad attitude. Thats another thing that we have in common. we both like to have an attitude! Actually i don't like to have an attitude because it gets me in trouble but i just have one. Katherine is also very girly and always talking abut her hair or doing it 24/7. Same thing with me i have to have my hair looking good before i walk out of the house in the morning. so as you can see me and this character have a lot in common hope you do too!

The book I’m reading at the moment is The Rescue by Nicholas Edwards and I’m on page 147. I think Emily (main character) and I have very similar personalities. We both want to help and please everyone. We also both care about people’s feelings. Together we are very kind and brave. I know I have never saved a dog from its death but, I do believe Emily and i think the same way about many things. I also think that if Emily were a real person we could become really close friends.

My book is "Warriors Moonrise" by Erin Hunter, and I'm on page 102. In my book all of the characters are cats so it's kiiinda hard to find a connection. Well I guess I am kind of similar to Firestar, the Thunder clan leader. He and I both care for and do what we can for our loved ones. He's a very protective cat, and I would even take a bullet for my mom.

still eighth grade bites by heather brewer page 97. I have noticed that me and the main character both have a somewhat darker personality. We are also not popular but we aren't total losers. We each only have one parent but my attitude and the way i handle it is better. Just from what i've read there may be physical resemblance as well.

I cannot discuss a connection between my book and my life because there isn't one. I am currently reading The Girls by Lori Lansens. I am on page 48. In my book a girl is talking about her life as a conjoined twin and I really cannot see how to relate to that. I am still in the beginning of my book so maybe when the author gets more descriptive and into more detail I will be able to relate better.

The book i am currently reading is Snatched by Pete Hautman and Mary Logue. Im on page 82. Roni and Brian has been trying to figure out a mystery they haven't solved yet. My life is the same because i am in a mystery such as them. I haven't solved my mystery yet but hopefully. Roni is not scared to do anything such as like doing stuff she is not sapose to, but she finds a way to do it without getting in trouble like me. Brian is asian like me too and he is like the opposite of me in a lot of ways. Roni has seems bossy and sometimes i am like that too, well i can be.

The book I am currently reading is Holes by Louis Sachar. There isn't really a connection between my book and my life, the main character Stanley and his family have a ton of bad luck but I really don't. Also Stanley gets caught in the wrong place at the wrong time which gets him arrested and accused of stealing, while that never happens to me. Stanley tries to think positive and make things seem less worse than the truly are, which I try to do; so that is the only really connection I guess. I am currently on page 9 and I plan on finishing the book for my realistic fiction project.

Because of his fathers work, 3 men come to his house and threaten to kill him, his mom, and his sister if they tell anyone then they leave after calling Jack's dad and then some agents arrive at their house. they put them in a protection program where they change their names and life. they start over in a new city and life. the author of these books is Roland Smith.

Another connection i have is Lahni sometimes gets nervous when she's talking to people that mean a lot to her and i tend to do that also. There are a lot of other connections in the book but they dont have anything to do with me. For example her parents are divorced but mine are NOT. One situation is that your friends are talking about someone behind their back and you think it is totally wrong! But then you see it and you totally are wrong, your friends are right and you are totally speechless. In the book Collie is in a new town and her aunt is talking about a baby that has a huge head. Collie doesn't believe them. But then she sees the baby and just was speechless. She said the baby's head was bigger than a bowling ball. I had a situation were I was wrong! Also I have never lived in a foster home but I really do like the book and it's keeping me very interested, I think since I don't have very much in common with Holly I can get to now her better through a different perspective! I didnt connect much in the beginning because Ronnie wanted nothing to do with her dad and to me its not the same but towards the end where i am, they tend to get past the past and start fresh and thats where i connect most. I think I am like Julie because we both are very thoughtful and think almost every thing through before we do it. We also care alot about our parent and would do anything for them. The book I am reading is Water For Elephants by Sara Gruen. Im am on page 98. I have realized that me and the character Jacob have the same view on life. Jacob often thinks of how life is my mystery and you never know what is going to happen. Still he always cherishes every moment he has. Jacob also thinks of ways that he could have changed things in the past. I like the character Jacob and I like the connection we have with each other.

The book I am currently reading is "SCAT." The author is named Carl Hiaasen. I am currently on page 300.
I relate to Marta's life the most because she is pulled into things too fast to understand at first what is going on. Also i feel that secrecy is sometimes needed to preserve things that are rare or valuable.

My book is Hoot, By Carl Hiassen and I finished the book. The book is like my life because it takes place in Florida. It is also like my life because it talks about helping burrowing owls. I love animals so I would help as well. The book was very good and I enjoyed it.

In this book Primerose has a friend named David. David is the main character. David and Primerose always hang out and that is how I am with another boy in my neighborhood. We always hang out and that is one thing that i have a connection about in my book.

I am reading the book Hoot by: Carl Hiaasen. I am on page 50. I notice a huge connection between me and this book because the main character Roy just moved from Montana to Florida and is starting at new school just like me except I just moved from Kentucky. I am not that far into the book ,but it is something a lot of kids can connect to.

The book I am reading is The Bully. The author of this book is Paul Langan and I'm on page 75. One thing that me and Darrell (the main character) have in common is we are both small for our age. He gets picked on at school about being small and I have been made fun of by my size as well. Another thing we have in common is our mothers are a big part in our lives.

The title of my book is November Blues. I was on page 100. The author of the book is Sharon M. Draper. Despite the whole pregnancy thing i feel as if i can relate to November's grief. I know how it feels to lose someone that you truly love and care about. A lot of times she wonders why everything is happening to her and lots of times i used to sit and wonder the same thing. I feel like when you're suffering with a grief the best thing to do is try to let it out instead of keeping everything bottled in. Because that is just going to lead to a period of depression. After you do that you just worry about what is ahead and not behind.

ayoung3 said...

Jbaptiste2,
That's really funny. I hope your life doesn't contain that you would probably need to go to the doctor to get checked out (laughing).

Ive noticed that things are extremely different from now and back then. Although some of the people have the same basic idea. Such as the population police to an actual police officer.
