I honestly don't like Mysteries because they leave me hanging. I know everyone else loves the part where they just keep you guessing.

I like realistic fiction too! It's so fun to read because it never gets boring and I can never put the book down. I like the dramatic books because I like the drama that goes on between people and I can never get enough of it.
My favorite genres would have to be Science Fiction,Mysteries,and Historical fiction.
I enjoy reading Science fiction like War of the Worlds and other books like that.
I also enjoy reading Mysteries like Sherlock Holmes I like those books because I'm on pens and needles the whole time those are some of the genres I like
I enjoy historical beacuas ei love history. if we did not have history we would not know how it was in the past. I like reading history books and compare and contrast how things are different and the same from now the present. I also like to see how things have changed over periods of time. I like to see how my ancestors lived. I am not a big fan of science fiction beacause i dont really like science. I am gald we have science because if we didnt we would be cave man. i just dont really pay a attention to it.

I agree with your comment. Everyone, read as much fiction as you can because in school all you do is fact after fact, you don't need any more facts.
@ayoung3 Wow I completely agree with you about SciFi it is SO boring. And I really do NOT like science at ALL! But i dont know about the other part you said .
my favorite genre is mystrey. because stories are interesting, and the clues are awesome. when i start to read, i can't put it down. because i want a know what will happen in the book next.
I don't like poetry. because it is short,and i can't understand most of them. because they are so creative.

I really like reading Mysteries the most because it has lots of action and adventure in it.I also enjoy Science fiction.Science fiction has lots of futurist technology,and i think thats really cool.The genre i dislike the most would have to be Historical Fiction.I find historical fiction boring and it doesn't keep me reading at all.
@Lbrown4 Mystery is pretty intresting its my SECOND favorite because fantasy has mystery in it.
I love the fantasy genre. It is so interesting and I think that the fantasy genre stories usually have the best storyline to them. My least favorite genre I would have to say is the nonfiction genre. Most of the nonfiction books I have read are not exciting enough for me.

I adore reading mysterious too. I enjoy them because like you said they never get boring and there full of suspence,so you your not a big fan of sci Fi type of stuff. Im not a big fan of sci fi too. I dont enjoy reading sci fi that much because i barelly understand anything like all the alien type of stuff. I also dont ussually understand the story. Like its all over the place.

I love to read fantacy, and contemporary realistic fiction. Fantasy gives my imagination the ability to run wild. I can usually relate to contemporary realistic fiction because it is modern day and could happen or has happened to me. Unfortunately I don’t enjoy many other genres, but that is just me.

Horror movies are awesome! The books are okay too.
The genre I enjoy the most is adventure. I like it best because if it is a good book it will keep you interested and turning page after page. I dislike mystery books because I will have nightmares for weeks. They may keep you flipping pages, but when I have to stop I will keep remembering the scary parts even a week later!!! For me books are worse than movies because they give more details than movies and you can get the wrong picture in your head.

I think that that the Fantasy Genre will be the genre I like most, because it seems to take the most interest in my point of view. I also think that it takes more of a creative view that is not seen in most other genres. The genre that I think that I will least enjoy reading is either Informational and or Science Fiction because they just seem to straight forward to me, and I just don’t like real or crazy unreal books.
bwalton2, good point about the mystery books keeping you on the edge of your seat. You made me change my mind about mysteries. I also dislike Sci-Fi too.

The genre I love reading is mystery. I love reading mystery because I like not knowing what will happen next. I can not put the book down! The genre I least like to read is Science Fiction. I do not like to read this genre because it is really boring and I just want to stop reading.

I think Historical Fiction is kinda interesting but i mean sometimes it doesn't interest me. That’s why i like reading romantic novels:)
The book I am currently reading is called Artemis Fowl, the Lost Colony. The author has a very wierd name, Eoin Colfer. So far, it is about a boy, age 14, who catches mythical creatures, and studies them. It is fantasy, because there is a talking demon in it, but it is a great book. Anyone who likes Harry Potter, or Twilight should try it.

I love mystery books too. There so intresting and like you said you said its fun trying to figure out what would happen.I hate fantasy too it is girly. Your so true its too much princess and stuff like that.
the genere i enjoy the most is fantacy.i enjoy fantacy becuase i like it when magic and powers come into play with the contrediction with the story.my least favorite genre is historical fiction because i dont like it when a whole bunch of names that i cant remember talk about thr olden days
