I am currently finished with the book Once Upon The End by James Riley. This book is very similar to a book series I have read by Chris Colfer. It is similar because they both almost have the same characters in the book and I enjoy reading two books so alike but yet so different. I would recommend this book to anybody because who doesn't love a good Fairy tale?

I am reading Divergent, by Veronica Roth. This book is a lot like Through the Ever Night by Veronica Flawline. It tells of a twisted love story betrayed by the government. A girl named Aria hasn't seen here significant other in a few months. Perry and Aria are in absolute love but cant because of the government stopping them from becoming one. Because of their heritage. They also don't really like Aria very much. But with nothing stopping them they run towards each other, but are stopped by the government again when they try to run away

I am currently reading The time of the witches by Anna Myers, I am on page 147. This book is similar to a series that I watch, is call Salem. They are similar because they have some of the characters that my book has. The book also takes place in Salem, and the story is different but they are alike. This book is really good because Drucilla is an orphan, and her adopted mother is kind of a witch, and her best friend Gabe Matson is accused of witchcraft, and she has to find a way to save him before it is to late.

I am reading Fairy Wings by E.D. Baker, i have finished the book. This book is similar to the movie a Midsummer's Night Dream. Though the plots are different two of the characters are the same. Titania and Oberon the king and queen of the fairies. They only have those two similarities yet the book reminds me of the Shakespearean play that they made into a movie. Both are very funny however and have a underline basis of romance. Another thing they have in common.

Is Divergent really a good book hmaestre3?
Njkeidel03 is that book about?

The book I am currently reading is The Girl He Never Noticed by Neilani Alejandrino and I am on page 39. This book is similar to Work For Me by Rayna Stones. These two books are similar because the main female characters were both poor and they grew up with no father present in their lives. The main character (Jade) in The Girl He Never Noticed and the main character (Louise) in Work For Me both fell in love with billionaires. In both stories, the main male characters were CEOs of a huge company. Jade and Louise were both secretaries and they fell in love with their boss. Both books are very similar, but the plot is very different even though they have some things in common.

I'm currently reading a book called Stranger In A Strange Island by Maile Meloy and I'm on page 6. So far which isn't really that far I see that this book has a mysterious ,space ,old-timesy vibe to it and that a type of book I haven't read in a long time. So its kinda of a rare fun book to read. This book is more of a book that would be found in a usual found a book store. So over all this book is kinda "one of kinds."

@njkeidel03 Best book in the world!

@@hmaestre03 I love Fairy Tales.

The book I'm currently reading is called fantasy by Mike Lupica. And I'm comparing this book to a book I read called Travel Team. The reason I'm comparing this book is because it both has something to do with a boy trying to get on a team but actually end up making the team.I also am on page 55.

I am reading how to meet boys by Catherine Clark and im on page 15.this book reminds me of the notebook. Its similar because there is a person that doesn't like the relationship that's going to happen or already happening. In the notebook, Allie Hamilton her parents didn't approve of the relation ship she was having with Noah Calhoun because he wasn't wealthy enough. In how to meet boys,Lucy falls in love with her her best friends enemy,it starts to get awkward.Mikayla, lucys best Friend, doesn't approve of their friendship/relationship.

I am currently The Watsons go to Birmingham-1963 I am on page 108 and the author is Christopher Paul Curtis. This book has a movie about it but the book gives more detail that the movie. But this book reminds me about the Emmit Till. Even though they where made several years apart. They are the same in a way. They both came from up north were there was no segregation. but down south there was segregation. But the only thing different about this book Emmit Till got killed but Bryon Watson got the cops called on him and they where around the same age.

I'm currently reading Twilight by Stephanie Meyer, and I am on page 372. My book is similar to almost all love stories and movies. I think this because its all so predictable other than the fact that I've seen the movie. Anyone could predict the ending of this book. It's all the same thing: the guy gets the girl, they both think they're not good enough for the other one. There all the same.

The book I am reading is titled the “House of Dark Shadows” by Robert Liparulo and I am on page 293. This book is similar to the movie “The Maze Runner”. In the Maze runner the main character Thomas is tasked with trials and many blocked pathways that lead to mysterious places. Well, just like in the “Maze Runner”, my main character, Xander, finds long hallways and doors that lead to random areas. Similarly, to the movie “The Maze Runner” Xander has lost something just like Thomas did in the movie. Thomas lost his name and his friends while Xander lost his mother and grandmother. One of the last reasons my book is like the movie “The Maze Runner” is because in the movie there is a bigger power over all the maze. In my book There is a bigger power controlling the house.

I am reading "Enclave" by Anne Aguire and I am on page 217. My book is similar to many books and movies because a zombie like creature isn't exactly original but this is the only one I have seen that shows the generation that has grown up with them. The humans have adapted in their reflexes and strength and they are also living underground. I would have to say my book mostly resembles "The Walking Dead" because it shows life after and how people have to adapt to survive.

I am currently reading Under Dogs by Mike Lupica and I am on page 51. This book is similar to the movie Sandlot. They're alike because the teams in both scenarios are going through the same thing- no field or official team to play on. They are both considered "underdogs" and had little hope. The main character in my book struggles to find a sponsor for their local football team and all the children give up, just like the kids in the Sandlot. Also, both have a star player who's a girl.

I'm currently reading the book Fight for Power by Eric Walters and on page 64. My life is nothing like the book i'm reading. In this book the entire world has turned into a dystopia. A place where anything related to a computer doesn't work anymore, a world where nearly anything is useless. The world the main character of the book (Adam) is plunged into chaos and violence. My world is all order and peace with each other. A couple of things that are similar is that both are just trying to progress or just go forward in life. Staying with friends and family. Also attempting to trust others and meet new people. For example the Main character Adam is trying to live and i'm trying to finish this blog very early.

hmaestre3: Good job on the similarities.

I am reading the third book of the MerTales series, Everlost, by Brenda Pandos, and I am on page 16. There are two movies and a tv show I can particularly think of that relate to my book. Those would be the movie, Aquamarine, Splash, and the tv show H2O: Just Add Water. All of these and my book are about mermaids, but the movies and the tv show all have mermaids and one specific thing that relates to my book. In Everlost, there is passionate love, drama, and the main characters are all in their teens. In the movie Splash, there is romance, in H2O there is drama, and in Aquamarine the main characters are all teens.

She is new at Buford high and Roylin is trying to impress her by buying her a $250 dollar necklaces for her birthday. He has stole money from a neighbor. In the movie the main character is always trying to show off and he pays a ladies bill she she would like him. And so far its Working out for both of the guys. They each got the girls they want.

The title of my book is Brooklyn Bride Karen Hesse and I am currently on pg.#69. This book is kinda similar to my last book first team because it also tells how my character goes through hard and tough things just to get to one thing. In first team it said that the character broke is arm and leg in the same season but he still participated to come out to the games and get better to play. In my new book the character goes through things because her mom died while she was just 6 years old but she still try to push to get what she needs and what she wants to succeed. Both of these characters push their hardest to succeed in life because they know how life can be and what could happen in life. I feel like these stories try to tell a message about life and I think the message would be do what you can in life because life can be a pain sometimes.

I am currently reading "Small as an Elephant" by Jennifer Jacobson and I am on page 101. This book, I believe, is pretty similar to the book "The Fault in Our Stars". In both books, the main characters have a few problems they have to get through. They learn to get through them on their own. Both books indicate the importance of learning to be independent through tough situations. Throughout both books, the main characters gradually become more and more mature and responsible. "The Fault in Our Stars" reminds me of the book that I am reading very much.

I am reading “Life in Motion” by Misty Copeland, and I am on page 20. This book is a different type of book for me, so I’ve never really read any books quite like this one. It’s an autobiography about Misty Copeland and her journey to being the wonderful ballerina she is now. I have seen a movie like this book, though. When I was younger I saw a movie about a girl struggling to be a dancer because of issues in her life and everyone doubting her in whatever she tried to do, but later regretted it when she became a dancer who was quite popular and she didn’t want anything to do with them. In the book Misty tells her story of having to overcome the odds, just like in the movie.

It also seems like they grew up in the same city near the Everglades.

This is like “Dork Diaries “because it has kind of like the same characters. The main character in both books have an issue and keep diaries and both have someone that annoys them in their life. In “Survivor Man” the main person doesn’t fake the show but he does some similar things such as eating bugs. Both shows also have to fight wild animals sometimes. Other than a few ideas and events that are common in most stories in order to create drama, this book is original. I am thankful for this because I have read books before that seem like exact copies of other books I’ve read, and it is very irritating to me. I am reading "Wolves of the beyond" by Kathryn Lasky and I am on page 13. I'm not too far into the book but so far this book reminds me of the series "The youngest templar" because of how to character acts. Although in this book the main character is a wolf and in the youngest templar the main character is a human, they make similar choices. They both are being hunted down so they both run and try to hide from whoever is hunting them. Also the thing hunting the wolf will stop at nothing to capture her, just like in the youngest templar how the man name Sir Hugh will stop at nothing to capture Tristan. Im guessing since they are making some of the same choices they will make similar ones through out the book.

I'm currently reading waiting for normal written by Leslie connor and I am on page 73.And I think my book is similar to killing a mocking bird because they have almost the same attitudes and problems.Plus in killing a mocking bird he goes through a lot dealing with his father and he doesn't have his mom and in waiting for normal she stays with her ex step dad which she kind of having a thought on where she stays at.And both books have tells the life of the characters and how the adapt to where they moved and how they progress with the people they stay with. And my book is a little similar to a lifetime movies I saw where a girl moves with her step mom where she has a step sister who is rude and my book has a lot of that action through the beginning of the story.

I am currently reading Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl and I am on page 24. I think this book is really similar to Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. These are similar because they both take place in small towns and are revolved around a new girl in town. Also, everything that is going on with this new girl in Beautiful Creatures is really mysterious. I think that both stories will be similar especially because of the word "creatures" in the title.

The book 'Double or Die is about a professor named Alexis gets kidnapped while he is tracing a tombstone. Although he gets kidnapped he leaves behind a piece of paper with which he was tracing. I am currently reading "Everlost" by Neal Shusterman and I am on page 114. This book is about an afterlife that nobody would of ever thought of going too. The reason why I say this is because everyone has somewhere that their mind is set on going after you die but in this book children are stuck somewhere they weren't planning on being after their death. I honestly couldn't think of anything this book is similar to because the idea of the book is something nobody has ever thought of or really cared to think about. If anything this book is one of a kind.

I am currently reading the Apothecary by Maile Meloy and I'm on page 62. I think for the most part my book is unique but t does seem to be like harry potter. The reason why it's like Harry potter is that it's about magic users in England trying to keep themselves a secret. It is still unique because my main character's parents aren't dead and there's no special school for the magic users. All in all I think they are very similar yet have a lot of differences and I like that.

Currently I am reading The Red Pyramid by Rick Riodan, I am on page number 195, and it reminds me of most fiction books because there is a set hero/heroine and then a ‘villain’. More specifically it reminds me of Harry Potter because of the magical elements to it. Both books/ series have shapeshifting and spell casting, although in The Red Pyramid it’s a bit more complex than waving your wand around. It’s also similar because of how people can shapeshift into animals in both books. Plus most fiction books tend to have the same predictable base of the plot and most of the time it ends with the hero/heroine saving the day and defeating the villain.

@clynch2 - that sounds like it would be a pretty cool book

I am reading Hide and Seek by Katy Grant. It does not exactly remind me of anything too much except the movie Earth to Echo. I never finished this movie but I watched probably about a quarter and it has a lot of similar elements. In the book the main character looks for a geocache witch you ca locate on a gps, in the movie they find a gps signal and look for it. Also in both of the stories they ride there bikes and while reading the book I imagine it in a desert situation like the movie and on the book cover it is in a desert area. The only big difference I can think of is that in the book the main character is alone.

I'm reading Frankenstein by Mary Shelley and i'm on page 50. Frankenstein is a very unique book, or at least it was when it was written. Since the book has been written however, many authors/artists have recreated the story with their own twists. One example I can think of is the Disney movie, Frankenweenie with a kid who brings his dog back from the bed. Good Job Tim Burton, you creepy weirdo.

She couldn't see him at first but he was doing stuff that made him noticed like he possessed her husband Sam and made him do crazy things. To be honest I haven’t read that many but the ones I have read weren't anything like this one. I've read books about football before but there is something this book has that the others don’t have. For example, like the plot of the story, in Snap Decision the main character wants to be on varsity but still haven’t been moved up. In the other football books I've read the main character is always getting the position he deserves. Another thing about this book is that it’s very foreseeable. I remember I was reading and I literally called what coach was going to say to Chase. Lastly, the two best friends live next to each other with the same amount of people in the family and each the same genders.
