Well, I have not started a new book yet but my last book was Kingdom Keepers IV by Ridley Pearson (I have finished it). One word to describe the book would probably be adventuresome/thrilling. These would finely express this book in many ways. Kingdom Keepers is about Magic Kingdom and how it is being overtaken by people called overtakers. Then a few local kids in Orlando are brought in to the picture to help save Disney World from destruction. This book would be adventuresome/thrilling because of the events that happen in the book. Such as, Finn and Marlene being stuck in a roller coaster simulator in Disney Quest and almost being destroyed because the overtakers literally took over the computers. They experience some thrilling moments like being shot by lasers by pirates. They find and explore places never before seen by anyone else in the park. Towards the end, the Kingdom Keepers save Disney World from being overtaken through their adventurous/thrilling moments.

I am reading Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan, i am on page 502. I that the best word that would describe my book would be bravery, I think this because in the book, Annabeth has to be very brave to go into the Roman Capitol city. Another reason that the most descriptive word for my book is bravery is because when they have to go into the River Styx and risk their lives to regain Percy's memory would take a great deal of courage

I’m reading “Starters” by Lissa Price and I’m on page 25. If I had to choose one word to describe my book, I would choose the word “Disturbing”. My book is disturbing because of the events in the book. The event I find very disturbing is that there is this place called “prime destinations” where they hire teens to rent their bodies to the elderly. My main character, Callie, needs money so she’s going to rent her body to the elderly. That is why my word is disturbing.

The book I am reading is All The lovely Bad Ones, by: Mary Downing Hahn and I am on page 180. One word that I would describe this book is "Eerie. The reason I would say this book is eerie, because first Travis and Corey try and bring more ghost to their grandmother Inn. Yet when they get their laughs and spooked upped their grandmothers Inn Corey and Tracey starts having the feeling they are being watched by something in the Graveyard. Now Corey and the guests start to think that Corey woke up the dead and has some special connection to them. Since they all think she has a connection to the dead they think the dead is coming back once again to materialize the Fox Hill Inn.

I am currently reading the book Cloaked by Alex Flinn. The book has 341 pages and I am on page 148. If I had to choose one word to describe my book then it would be mysterious. I believe the book is mysterious because there are so many unknown aspects to the story. An example of this is, why did the prince runaway? Who is after him? I am really looking forward to finishing my book and uncovering the secrets.
@Jherrera4 Perfect Blog!

Beacuse they work at a pizza place, but underground it's actually a monster hunting organization. Three teenagers have to hfind and protect this certain species of monsters. I just started the book so I don't know a lot, but I do know they are hunting and trying to protect this monster.

For my book, The Hypnotists, by Gordon Korman, I think a good word to describe the book would be ‘ambiguous’, because the story is very hard to nail down with a certain description. It is fairly indescribable because there aren’t a whole lot of unique things about the book, but not such a lack that it could be called bland. There are a whole bunch of different things like this, which make the prompt for this assignment fairly hard to post to with any other word.

There is lots of action, drama, and darkness. It is one of my favorite book trilogy's ever. I'm going to read the whole series again for the heck of it.

She is trying to get noticed in school and hang out with popular people. Then she meet a woman named Gracie who is homeless.

My book is The Hunger Games by Susanne Collins and im on page 50. One word to describe my book is brave. In this story, Katniss has to be brave and fight against others. She also wants to keep her family alive. No other word would be as good as this because Katniss is always brave. Her qualities in the story are definitely for that word.

She was not supposed to survive the accident but she did. So finally when she woke up her parents were having her watch home videos so she could try to remember things. One day Mik and his friend met a monster. His friend was in danger. Even though, he could die, he ran to the monster to save his friend. It was so courageous behave.

If I could use one word to describe my book, The dark half, I would use the word Scary. This book is about a man who apparently has two half's one is good and one is very dark hence the name the Dark half. The other half is named George Stark, He has a list of people that he wants to kill. Thad and his family are on the list, Thad has to some how stop him. I choose this word because George Stark Kills his victims in a creepy way that I wont go into to much detail into. an George Stalks his victims in a suspenseful way that makes you feel afraid.

That's one step closer towards being the starting quarterback.

I just finished reading Allegiant by Veronica Roth it had a total of 526 pages. If I had to pick a word for my book I would pick sad the overall book was good, but it had very sad parts. The main character died and it had made to tone of the book very sad. Tobias began to fall apart it was devastating, but ended the book series very well. I just would have wished Tris would have survived.

JHerrera4 I loved the words you choose. Great Job!

Its a great book and very interesting that would keep you at the edge of your seat asking what happens next.

I am reading Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan. I am on page 11 and if I had to choose one word to describe the book it would be courageous. The book mentioned that Percy had saved the world which took place in the previous book which takes lots of courage. Percy also has a friend that is homeless and gets picked on a lot by one of the people that go to his school and Percy always stands up for him which is also very courageous. Also, the person who picks on Percy’s friend told Percy that he could have some friends if he didn’t hang out with Tyson(Percy’s friend) which is very courageous because it’s hard to do the right thing.

JLett6 I like how you add disturbing details to describe your book.

The book i just finished reading was The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan. One word i would use to describe the book would be Bravery. Because in the series, a lot of people had to be brave to survive. In this book, Silena had to be brave and sacrifice herself to save her friends. Another character that was brave was Luke who also had to sacrifice himself to save Camp Half-Blood. Both of them were working for the enemy and at the last moment realized what they were doing. Another character that was brave was Clarisse. She went into battle without armor on and it was like she didn't care if she dies or not, she just wanted revenge. Another character was Percy, He went to bathe in the River Styx even though he knew it was very dangerous and he could die in it. BUt he still did it to defeat Kronos. There are a lot more of characters who were brave in this book and did stuff to save Camp Half-Blood and friends.

I am currently reading Fever by Laurie Halse Anderon and I am on page 18.The best word to describe this book would be unpredictable. Unpredictable would be the best word to describe this book because you don't know what Mattie, the main character will do next or what will happen to her. By the beginning of this book I can tell that a lot of things that I wont expect to happen will happen. When a book is unpredictable you never know what is going to happen next and it keeps you wanting to read more.I can already tell that I am going to enjoy and never going to want to put this book down.

I have finished the current book for this nine weeks. My books name is "In A Heartbeat" The author is "Loretta Ellsworth". One word I would have to use to describe is inspirational. I would say this book is inspirational because the main character "Amelia" is trying to find her the Donner that gave her new heart. And she talks a lot about the new and different things and challenges she as to go through that is why I would use inspirational to describe this book.

I just finished reading Skinny by Donna Cooper and there were 260 pages. If I could describe this book with one word, I would choose inspiring because it’s about a 15 year old girl who weighs 302 pounds and about how she journeys through a risky surgery and finally faces the voice in her head that tells her she’s worthless and that she’ll never be loved no matter how many pounds she loses. I think it would inspire anyone who has ever struggles with their weight and have low self-esteem. I found this book inspiring because it talks about self-acceptance and how anyone can change and learn to love oneself, if there determined enough to try.

I just finished the book "Spirit Animals - Wild Born" by Brandon Mull. One important thing about this book is "friendship". This is because the four main characters of this book, Conor, Abeke, Meilin and Rollan have to develop a strong bond between themselves and their spirit animals. Throughout the book, the necessity of this bond is shown numerous times. Not all four have been successful at this. The friendship between a spirit animal and its owner have saved lives many times while the lack of it caused more problems. For example, Abeke's friendship with Uzara, the leopard, helped her to avoid getting killed by a giant dog. It also helped her to find the talisman of Arax. Also, Conor and Briggan, the wolf, becomes friends almost instantly. Briggan is incredibly loyal to Conor and obeys his orders without question.

I am reading ‘’The Lord of the Rings” written by J.R.R. Tolkien and I am on page 260. If I had to choose one word to describe this book it would be adventurous. I would choose this because the book has several long journeys that occur within the book. Such as when Frodo had to go through the Barrow Downs and travelling to Rivendell. The book also has many fighting scenes as well.

I am reading “Legend”, by Marie Lu, and am on page 79. In one word, I would chose exciting. On pages 30-32, Day, the main character, was stealing medicine from a hospital for his family. However, there was no medicine. Basically, he had to escape the hospital, when there were soldiers at the hospital getting healed. He roughly escaped, and was injured in the rib area, and legs. He is also the most wanted criminal.

A Girl Named Disaster /Nancy Farmer/ pg. # 56.The word I would use is UNFAIR. The reason I would use unfair is that this girl is being forced to do everything she hates most. And she thinks to herself that she has to run away so she doesn’t has to marry an old dude with 3 wives. And the book says that he is abusive and have killed one of his previous wives for cooking his food too hot.

The book I am reading is The Roar by Emma Clayton, and I am on page 340. The single word I would choose to describe The Roar is sickness. The word I would use is sickness because through out the whole book they bring up things that happened, like the giant walls around the cities, that resulted from the animal plague. The animal plague infected all animals on Earth, and humans were attacked by the sick animals. The people destroyed all of the plants and made a law that would prevent animals from entering the cities. Their are many things in the story that resulted from the plague.

The book I am currently reading is Freaky Is About To Get Fabulous, by Lisi Harrison. IM on page 108 and the one word I would use to describe my book is sassy. This book is sassy because, Melody the main character had really bad asthma and didn't know how to control it. She had to carry around her inhaler on her belt buckle, loose clothes, and she had an over sized nose. She's the main character in the book but an nobody at school, one day her dad showed her some nose
surgery she could get done to help her out. It took her a couple of weeks to say yes, after she did she looked fabulous. New wardrobe, nose, no more inhalers, and she broke out of her shell. Freaky to fabulous.

The book I am reading is called “The Running Dream”, By Wendelin Van Draaren , on page 5. If I had to pick one word to describe this book it would be encouragement. The reason why I chose that, is because Jessica loves to run it is her passion. When she loses her leg, her life seems to be over! The reason she lose her leg because of a horrible car accident. Things are hard for her now, but every now and then the sweet smell of running, crosses her mind. She then can’t run so she finds other things to do instead. Fighting this battle Jessica still feels the pain and sadness, because she can probably never run or even walk again!
