Out of all the books I have read this year Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows By J.K. Rowling was my favorite. The genre of the book is fantasy. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is about Harry, Ron, and Hermione trying to find the Horcruxes so they can kill Voldemort. The battle at the end of the book is really violent but thats what made it the best out of the series. The book is really long but it is definitely worth reading.

Out of all the books I read this year I would say that my favorite one was 10 Things to Do before I Die. This book was written by Daniel Ehrenhaft. The genre was General Fiction. I loved this book, because it seemed so surreal. The way Ted Burger got poisoned by the local fry cook's fries. Also how he went all crazy and had to do all these things before he died. Including loosing his virginity. So he, obviously, accomplished all of these things before he died of poison. The whole book was very entertaining..

My favorite book I have read this entire year would have to be "The Last Olympian" by Rick Riordan. It is my favorite book because it has had the best plot, characters, settings, and I could imagine everything well from my perspective. It is also my favorite because it involves Greek mythology, and I love Greek mythology. Rick Riordan has the Greek gods right on the spot, probably because he taught it for 8 years. This is not only a good book, but also an amazing series.

I would have to say one of my favorite book I read this year would have to be Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K Rowling. The genre is fantasy since there is magic. I love this book because it keeps me interested and wanting to read more. If a book cant keep my attention I cant finish it. I also loved the other book as well. I also liked in this book how she put in humor in the right parts but kept it serious too.

I have read a ton of awesome books this school year. There have been alot of books that I called my favorite but there is one that stands out to me. It is The Beggar King and the Secret of Happiness by Joel Izzy. Joel's book is a biography, but it tells a wonderful eye-opening story. Joel's biography reached inside of me and pulled out a part of me that I have never seen. Books really can change people.

The best book that I have read this year would have to be Searching for David’s Heart by Cherie Bennett. The genre of this book is comedy/drama. I liked this book the best because it kept me reading. It was sad at some parts of the book but in the end it’s happy. This book takes you through a story between a sister and brother and friends. This book made me think about all the people in the world that have heart transplants. Over all it was a really good book!

I really like this book because it's about high school drama and it was really funny. The guy, Alex, bet his gang friends that he could get a date with the most popular girl in the school, Brittany, before Thanksgiving. The book was so good I could never put it down. It's worth reading.

My favorite from this year that I read would have to be The Outsiders by S.E Hinton. This book is not a true story SE hinton wrote this book when she was just 17 years old, she was friends with a greaser, but the events of this story are fictional. The reason this is my favorite book for this year is because this book always got me to read. It always had me on the edge of my seat wondering what will happen next. This story showed that anything in life is possible. To always believe in your self and just keep going in life.

Most definitely the best book I've read all year is "The Lost Heroes" by Rick Riordan. Being a fantasy, it was bound to be awesome! The story began with some random fifteen year old dude who didn't have his memories. He soon learned he was a roman demigod and set out on a quest to save a menopausal Hera that would restore his memories. The details, you'll have to fill in yourselves. The book's full of flips n' tricks n' magic... hey, it even has super buff dudes.:O

The book I enjoyed most this year was skulduggery pleasant by Derek Landy. The genre of this book is fantasy and it had great suspense and awsome action scenes that made the book interesting to read. One of the most exciting parts was when skulduggerey fights this weird creature with tentacles because it captures stephanie.

bclark3 said...

gfleck3, I wonder if the book is like the movie? I would probally never take the time to read it though because those books are very long.

The book that I liked the most this year was The Boy Who Dared. The author is Susan Barletti, the genre is mystery. This was the last book i read this year. I liked it because i love learning new things about the Holocaust and World War II. I plan to read more books from this author.

My favorite book that i read this year would definitely have to be the lovely bones. This book is by Alice Sebold and is a mystery book. This book is about a girl, susie salmon, who gets kidnapped raped and murdered when she was only 14 years old. The book as a whole is about her family and friends coming together and working together to try to figure out who her murder was and why they would do such a thin. But in the long run things happen such as her sister, lindsey salmon, falling in love. Her mother, Abigail salmon, falling in love with the detective that is helping them try to solve Susie's murder when she is already married. Her father,Jack Salmon, getting very,,very,, hurt from trying to solve the murder. And her brother, Buckley Salmon, becoming a man. The reason why i love this book is because you can see all of the love that every one in this little town has for this child. And how they come together as one big family to help solve this murder of just one girl that they hardly even know. And that is the irony of it... even though these people have no idea who this girl is they still come together and try t help solve the murder.

My favorite book of all time and this year that I have read has to Watership Down by Richard Adams. The genre is fantasy. The book is so good that every year I reread it and I have been rereading it every since 4th grade. It is about these awesome rabbits who go on a journey to start a new home once theirs is torn down by construction workers. The rabbits have to fight birds, cats, and even other kick butt rabbits. I love the book and reccomend it to everybody because it's so amazing and emotional! I'm going to enjoy reading it again next year.

My favorite book that I read this year was The Last Song. This book was by Nicholas Sparks and it was realistic fiction. In this book Ronnie, a teenage girl, falls in love with a boy when she is shipped to her dad's house for the summer. They have an on and off relationship but they end up together. Ronnie's dad dies at the end and it is a sad ending. This book was a good chick flick and I only had to do one mini project for it.

This year I have read a lot of books but my abouslute favorite would have be 13 reasons why. I dont remember the author this book but I do remember it being one my favorites. The genre of that book was realistic fiction. I say that was my favorite book because it waS like mystery but it was also sad. It was about a girl who commited sucide because she felt like she was alone and was sick of being bullied. But, prior to her killing herself she made 13 tapes and 13 stories and sent a copy to all the people who helped her make the descion to kill herself. I remeber the saddest part was toward the end when she went to the guidance counselor and was like if you can help me then i wont do this if you cant help me then goodbye. She told the guidance counselor that she needed her gelp and she didnt do anything. After school that day she went home and killed herself because her last hope didnt help her. It was a really good book it kept me interested throughout the whole book and i could def. read it more than once. :)

My favorite book that I read this school year was Overboard by:Elizabeth Fama. This book was about a girl that wanted to leave home from her family and come to the states with her uncle that visited her. When she snuck away onto the boat everything went down hill. The boat had problems and was beginning to sink. She had to do everything in her will to stay alive. She got onto an island waiting to be saved with a little boy she had taken with her. This was my favorite because it taught me how to be strong and to think of others and not always think about myself.

Out of all the books I have read this year, the one I'm reading now is my favorite. The book I am reading now is "The Quickie". The author is James Patterson and I'm on page 200. The genre is realistic fiction. My favorite genre is realistic fiction so that gives the book an A+ to start with. This book is about the main character, Lauren Stillwell, and her husband, Paul, both cheating on each other. They both are dating another person. But Paul murdered Scott, the guy Lauren was dating. Paul doesn't know that Lauren saw him kill Scott. So he is totally clueless. When Lauren gets assigned to be the main detective on this case, she has know idea what to do. Scott was also her best friend. She has no idea what to do! I love this book so much and it is my favorite book I have read this year.

My favorite book that I've read this year has to be Among the Enemy by Margret Peterson Haddix. Its genre is mystery. I liked this book the best because it had a lot of unexpected turns, and you could never tell what was going to happen next. It was well written in the fact that every character was unique, the plot was creative, and it wasn't confusing. It was cool to read about how these everyday children were trying to escape these horrific people who thought that children should basically be used as slaves.

I think my favorite book out of this whole year was a book called 13 Reasons Why. This book is by Jay Asher. The genre is realistic fiction. I like this book because it is told from two perspectives. One is from tapes of a once alive person and the other is of a guy she used to go out with. Instead of finding out what happens at the end of the story, you try to find out why the end happened. This is different from all other books. I also like the hidden message in the story about how if you mess with one little part of a person's life, you mess with their whole life.

My favorite book I have read this year is 'Wonmidong People' by Yang Gui Ja. It's a fiction. Wonmidong is the name of small village in Korea. It means 'far and beautiful village' and the author described ordinary people's life around us in real. I still can't forget their every day life. It was so impressed. That's why it became my favorite book in year. I wish you could read it too.

Out of every book I have read this year the best one would have to be A Child Called it. The author was Dave Pelzer but also the main character. This book was not the best book in terms of happy endings it was a good book because it was very discriptive. The genre was nonfiction. This book is about a young boys life and all his hard times growing up. This book showed me that you may think you life sucks at the moment but somebody out there always has it worst.

Out of all the books I've read this year, my favrite is a tie between The Book of Useless Information and BadA**. Their both non-fiction. They both contain actual facts about everything or everyone and present them in a hilarious manner. Most of the facts you'll probably never need to know, but still want to. Also, BadA** is completely historically accurate

My favorite book of the year is Dr.Franklin's Island by Ann Halam. It is a scientific fiction and I like it because it is the second Scientific book I like and I am not a fan of scientific books. I like how the main characters Miranda and Semi dont give up they keep trying to escape the island. I also like how it seems like they are going to get away but they dont get away easily. The book is about a group of Planet Savers who,go on a trip to a forest where they are suppose to explore, but end up having a plane crash. The only survivors are Semi,Miranda, and Arnie. All three try to survive on this island until they accidently meet a evil scientist. His name is Franklin and he is the "master of this island", he plans to turn them into animals and become rich from his expriment.

Out of all the books I've read this year, Vladimir Tod: Eighth Grade Bites. Its by Heather Brewer. It's about a teenager who is half vampire, half human. He is being hunted down by the vampire council. They were originally looking for his dad because his dad broke the most important vampire rule, don't fall in love with a human. Since Vlad's dad was already killed in a fire Vlad has to take his punnishment, which is death. This book is full of suspense and suprises which is why its my favorite.

My favorite book that I have read this year is Wait Till Helen comes by Mary Downing Hahn. Its genre is mystery. This book is about a family who moves into an old church that was for sale. In the family, there are three kids, Heather, Molly, and Michael. They realize what they have gotten themselves into when Heather starts acting up, being rude and hateful, and trashing everything she can. Where do they go for the answer? A grave yard of course! They find a girl who had died years back that had the same initials as Heather and the girls name was Helen. Helen's death date was Heather’s birth date. Now that's some freaky stuff! Well, throughout the rest of the book, Helen try’s to overpower Heather, kill her, and take her in as her own friend. But you’re going to have to read it to find out more.

He makes friends and becomes the president at his new school as a joke but he ends up being a good president. Out of all the books I have read this year my favorite one would have to be the Lord of the Rings trilogy book. sure it was long, but it was a good book. Also considering how I had no homework that week, I could read alot. The book was written by J.R.R. Tolkien and its pretty obvious that the genre is fantasy. The book follows the story of a young hobbit named "Frodo Baggins", who is the becomes the bearer of the one ring. when he is told he must go, he is joined by his friend "Sam Wisley" and Frodos 2 cousins "Merry" and "Pipin." along the journey he meets more allies who hate Sauron and his orcs. Including Aragon(A kind ranger , Gandalf(Frodos friend and a wizard), Gimli(A stubborn dwarf), Legolas(A elf prince) and Boromir(A nobleman). later, they are called the Felloship of the Ring and begin their quest(Really, really, really long quest).

The best book i read this year was a book called forged by fire. The author is Sharon Draper. The genre of this book is fiction but has some true events.I like this book because if informs the reader about child abuse and hoe to avoid and stop child abuse in a home.It also talks about child endangerment and the consequences for this action

My favorite book that I have read this year was the "The Bully" by Paul Langan. The genre of this book is non-fiction. I liked this book a lot because it was very suspenseful and everytime you turned the page something exciting was happening. The book was very detailed and I could picture almost everything that was wrote down. This is why "The Bully" has been my favorite book.

My Favirote book that I read this year was Dear John written by Nicholas Sparks. The Gemre of this book is realistic fiction. The reason it is mny favirote book from this year is because I could really relate to the book. It also had a lot in common with everuything that went on with the book and Savannas life.
