1 – 200 of 221 Newer› Newest»I have read the same series throughout the entire school year. The Were world series by Curtis Jobling. If i had to choose my favorite book out of the four in the series that i have read so far, it would have to be the first book. Were World Rise of the Wolf, this book was the first and after reading it i was instantly hook to it and i continued the series. I still remember the events of the book and might even reread the series once i am finished with it.
The title of the book is called The Test and the author is Peggy kern.My favorite book this year was the test because it was fun and sad and had true real life details. it also had stuff that could happened too any other teen in life so it was really good reading that book this year.
@grdummett1 i should have red it, it sound good.Plus i like series.
This year i have read several books. The best book I read was To Kill a Mockingbird. I enjoyed the book because it had an interesting story to it . I also expected the book to be much more boring than it was so that was nice also. That was probably the best book I had read this year.
grdummett1 Sounds interesting.
fdexter1 Sounds like a good book.
Out of all the books i have read this school year i would have to say my favorite one is Sword Art Online Alzination Beginning. The reason behind this choice is simply because I find the plot line behind it mentally pleasing with how much it integrated the aspects of magic and science before correctly setting characters up in a way that they appeal to the audience, for instance Kirito the main character is a normal adopted teen who after finding out his parents weren't really his parent decided to spend most his time around computers and machines which led to him gaining a great interest in technology.
WDyke6 fdexter1 those books sound interesting

My favorite book this year has been "Guitar Notes" by Mary Amato. This book has been my favorite because it combined music with a slice of life. I love how it created songs in the story and showed things that are in peoples day to day lives. Each character had a back story and the plot was amazing. I would tell anyone who loves books like this to give it a read.
jtrumpy02 I didn't know it was a book.
I’m reading Legend by Marie Lu and I’m on page 305. My favorite book was Eragon because I love the story and also how big the books are. The stories in the books are complex and make you think bake a few chapters or books. Another book series I really liked was the paladin prophesy it’s a very complex mystery book that uses foreshadowing very well.
WDyke6 it sounds interesting I may give it a read.
ajgood6
I love anything that incorporates music into the book.
WDyke6
I've been wanting to read it but haven't ever gotten around to it.
My favorite book that I have read this year would be The Adventures of Alfred Kopp by Rick Yancey.This book would be considered my favorite bexcuse it had a little bit of everything in it.In the book there was never a chapter where the book didn't have sadness excitement and etcetera.Also the book was really entertaining because it had lots of actions and they fought with a magic sword.Lastly the book just was well written and put together very well.
Out of all the book i've read this year my favorite would have to be The Maze Runner by James Dashner. The bool=k is so interesting, it's full of suspense, drama, fear, unknown danger, and mystery. All those things make it very interesting to read and make you want to read more. Plus it's a series so after the first book there is more to the mystery. Even though I did read all 3 of the books in the series I think the first one, The Maze Runner, is still my favorite by far.
Anonymous Cnelson2
I've never read that book before but it sounds like it's a good book.
Anonymous WDyke6
I've read that book and i agree it's a very good book.
My favorite book I've read this year is "The Sword of Summer," by Rick Riordan. It's probably my favorite because I waited so long to get it. The book included a character that I really like from another book. This other character was the cousin of the main character in "Sword of Summer". I also really like the books from this author, especially how he develops his characters.
@fdexter1 I have a friend who really likes that book!
@bluegenbeel6 I really want to read that book!
My favorite book has been The Beggar King and the Secrete to Happiness by Joel Ben Izzy. The story is about a story teller losing his voice. The irony is entertaining by itself. It has little stories in between each chapter that relates to the chapter's theme. The book has so many good lessons to learn that I would love to reread it. It so heartwarming for me when he talked about his almost deaf mom, his dead father, his children, and wife.
swilliamson2 That sounds like a good book.
ajgood6 A good plot is good in a book.
I have read several books this year, and I got to say my favorite book I have read is Dorothy must die by Danielle Paige. Which is the current book I am reading now. And it's my favorite book book because it's so dramatic and very interesting to read because of the content relating to this generation. And when you read it you can Imagine everything that is happening.
@swilliamson2
The book sounds amazing.
@WDyke6
The book sounds like an emotional book 😥.
My favorite book I've read this year is "Divergent" by Veronica Roth. I loved all the characters especially Four, and I also loved the idea of the events. It was fascinating and really interesting. The romance inside the difficulties and hardship made me immersed in the book. There was lots of actions which made me so excited. I just loved every single word in this book.
@swilliamson2
Sounds amazing
@ajgood6
Sounds like a good book
If I were to choose one of the books I've read this year it would have to be Neil Gaiman's, "Coraline". I enjoyed the book very much because it has such a dark atmosphere for a book. There are also some things in Coraline that just makes you think about life. For a small book, it has a lot of things that go in depth.
My favorite book that ive read this school year is the book raft By s.a. Bodeen . I liked this book because it was an exiting book and it always kept me on edge.This book was also very easy to understand.
My favorite book that I have read this year would have to be Best friends for never by Lisi Harrison. The reason that it was my favorite because they were my age and they relate to me in similar ways. This book creates a good feeling in me because it always has me on the edge of my seat and I’m always ready to read more. This book also had different things going on because it was eight main characters and they all had their own issues and some things that they dealt with were problems that people go through in the real world.She did a very good job on that aspect and that is why it was my favorite and because I love her clique series they are all amazing.
@ DDaniels4
Your book sounds amazing.
@swilliamson2
I would love to read that book.
Of all the books that I have read this year my favorite has been the book that I am reading right now, The Island of Dr. Libris by Chris Grabenstein. This has been my favorite book so far because it is about fairy tales and I like reading fairy tales. Also this book has been my favorite because it combines multiple fairy tales into one book and it makes it more fun to read. The author has an interesting style in the way that he combines the fictional characters from different fairy tales to be in his unique setting and plot. I would suggest that other people read this story because it is a good book and I have enjoyed reading it.
@ tmodican5 having a book that relates to you is a good thing.
@brivera4 it is good when you want to re-read a book even though you didn't miss anything reading it the first time around.
@DDaniels4 'Dorothy must die' sounds like a good book.
@jtrumpy02 That's a cool book.
@hkim1
Divergent is a good book to re-read because you can spot out some important parts you didn't see before.
My favorite book I have read this year is "A Long Walk to Water" by Linda Sue Park. This book is my favorite for multiple reasons. The first being that it just is my favorite book. The second being that it is easy and fun to read. I also like how the author split up the book into two different points of view, while keeping it simple at the same time. Lastly being that it told a great story without being to long to read
@WDyke6
The book sounds like a good book
grdummett1 Sounds interesting.
Out of all the books I've read this year my favorite is Believe by Eric LeGrand. I liked that book because it has taught me something. It showed me that no matter what gets in your way you can always find a way to get passed it. In the book Eric has a tragic accident that jeopardizes his football career. In the end he learns to walk and play again.
@WDyke6 great responce.
my favorite book this year was bone : the great cow race. this was written by john smith. this is my favorite book because the way the author explained the conflict and how it was solved. also because how the character smiley bone was so free spirited. the book has many series but this one is my favorite, especially when they dressed up as a cow and ran in the cow race. this book was like a problem solution type of book.
@hkim1
that was a great book but idk which was better the book or the movie.
@wDyke6
i have read that book before it was very very interesting.
My favorite book that I have read this year has to be Throwing Strikes by R.A. Dickey. This has to be my favorite because it's about baseball and someone who I look up to. In this book, R.A. talks about his journey, all the way from being a child, to a MLB pitcher. There are some great parts in the book, and there are some sad and revealing parts as well. As a child, one of R.A.'s babysitters sexually abused him, and for a very long time he didn't even speak about it. Once he came out about it, he pitched much better and felt great. Not to mention he won the Cy Young Award in 2012.
My favorite book that I've read this year was the Maze Runner by James Dasher. This was my favorite book for many reasons. First of all it just had a really good plot to it. Also it was very different then any book I have ever read which made it more interesting. Anyways I've read many good books but the Maze Runner was my favorite.
@lbaker Seems interesting.
@jfox Seems like a good book.
msmith2
That is my favorite book I have ever read, actually. I read it last year.
jtrumpy02
I didn't realize it was a book as well.
My favorite book from this year is Four by Veronica Roth. Four is my favorite book because it has action and it is basically Divergent from the point of view of Four instead of Tris. I also like the book Four because it shows how Four’s life was before he went to dauntless. It also explains why he is emotionally distant when he and Tris first started to like each other. Lastly I like the book Four because the divergent movie series is my favorite so I like all of the books.
@ msmith2 your favorite book is a good book.
@LBaker4 great explanation!
@awhitefield4
Four Sounds like a good book.
DDaniels4 that sounds emotional.
sharritt4 I didn't like the raft because it kept getting me confused when she would faint and then dream.
I am currently reading the book Percy Jackson and the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan and I finished it about 3 weeks ago. I have read almost the entire series of Percy Jackson throughout the school year and my favorite one was the first book in the series. The first book was the Lightning Thief. It was my favorite because there was so much action and it was the one where Percy learns about camp half-blood and everything else. In my opinion it was the best one but it was hard to compare because they were all great.
My favorite book that I have read this year is The Ghost Of Crutchfield hall by Mary Downing Hahn.This was my favorite book because I like scary books and I like the author.Most of the books I read this year were by Mary Downing Hahn.This book was about a girl that was an orphan but she got adopted by her uncle.When she got to the house she found out about her late cousin and that she was haunting the house.
@Jfox4
Sounds like a good book.
@DDaniels4
Sounds like a good book.
Out of all of the books that I have read this year, my absolute favorite one would have to be the one I have read this Grading Period, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. This first novel from Ransom Riggs is my favorite for many reasons. First off, this book seemed to have taken a little bit of everything from the previous books that I have read this year. It takes The Mortality Doctrine series’ fast paced action, The Maze Runner’s plot and sense of mystery, Kingdom Keepers’ engrossing lore, and Flush’s amazing cast of characters and merges it into one insanely spell-binding book. I also love how most of the book is all about discovering the mystery behind the main character’s grandfather in an eerie, almost scary way complete with haunting photographs before turning into an action-fantasy book by the end of chapter 5. It truly is an amazing book and is one of the only books I can really say I cannot put down.
@jtrumpy02 Really need to get into both the book and the anime.
@JFox4 That sounds like a spectacular book.
@Jfox4 sounds like a great book
My favorite book that I've read this year has got to be the one I just finished called Death by Latte by Linda Gerber. This has been my favorite book because it kept me on my feet. The fact that I was allways guessing trying to predict the end was fun. I never knew what was gonna happen. I liked that this book wasn't predictable.
ARossi2
Your book sounds interesting.
drivera4
I love that book!
My favorite book that I have read this year is Red Kayak. It is written by Priscilla Cummings. It is my favorite because it is very detailed with the characters. Because it is more detailed it allows you to get to know the characters more. It also features what not many of the books that I have read this year, it is realistic fiction. Realistic fiction makes the story seem real which got me more into the book.
zgano5 That book was good.
arossi2 That sounds like a really good book.
My favorite book that I read this year was Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson. It was my favorite because the action was nonstop. At night I stayed up a little later than usual because I felt that I could not stop reading it. It allowed a sense of futuristic events that somehow could happen. The book was awesome, there is no other way to describe it.
Arossi That sounds like a good book.
Lbaker4 That sounds like a great book.
My favorite book that I've read this year is the book that I am reading right now, Famous Last Words by Katie Alender. It is different from the other books I've read this year it doesn't wait to tell you who did this or who did that it just tells you and I like that. It is also a horror book. In my opinion horror books are the best that's probably why I like this book so much. It is scary and mysterious.
@zgano5 Sounds Good!
@dgross4 Good Job!
Out of all the books I have read this year my favorite is "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" by J.K. Rowling. I enjoyed it because it was a mixture between comedy and action. It is also part of a long series so it feels like a piece of the puzzle. I like it because it is made by a great author, J.K. rowling, who makes other great books. This is why this is my favorite book out of all the books I have read this year.
@cscott1 I think the "Percy Jackson" books are great books.
@awhitfield4 The divergent series is a great series, and so are the movies.
The book that I have enjoyed the most this year is probably Chomp by Carl Hiaasen. I really liked it because it was very interesting. It is just one of those books that makes you want to keep reading. I have read a lot of Carl Hiaasen books and this would have to be my favorite one. I recommend this book if you like adventure and wildlife.
ZGano5
Sounds interesting.
WDyke6
I heard it is a really good book.
My favorite book I read this yea is called jungle bones. It has lots of action. It's takes place in newguinea where a group of people look for a lost b17 bomber. But one person gets lost and is gone for two weeks. But he miraculous lee finds the bomber and he gets rescued. This kid used to be a brat but after that experience he realized that he needs to change.
Sthakor1 and jbruce2 good books
I think my favorite book ever would have to be The Cay by Theodore Taylor. I enjoyed this book because it was very interesting and unpredictable. It is a classic as well as it genuinely being a great book. The book is about a young racist boy trapped on a deserted island with an old black man. Later on in the book the boy goes blind and they both have to make it off the island.All together in my opinion that's a very interesting plot.
Aberryman5
I had to read that a few months back I enjoyed it.
fdexter1
I have not read that book but I want to get around to reading it.
Out of all the books I've read this year, my favorite would probably be the one I'm reading now. Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare is an amazing book. I'm only on page 231, but I'm already in love with it. Cassandra is one of my favorite authors. This book is kind of like an epilogue and a story at the same time. The book takes place five years after her main characters in her first series- The Mortal Instruments- save the world. It informs the readers of things that have happened since then, but it's also story about different shadowhunters. I love the characters and how they resemble characters from her past books, but also have unique traits of their own. As a summary, I basically just love Cassandra Clare's work.
@Mcline1 . I'm only half way through that book, but I have to agree, it is a pretty good book.
@awhitfield4. I completely agree, Four is a great book written by a great author.
Out of all the books I've read this year, my favorite was "The Heartbeat" by Jordan mayes. "The Heartbeat" was my favorite book out of all the books I've read because it was the most meaningful to me. Also I understood the message the author was trying to tell the reader. This book had actual evidence and gave facts from a real life situation. This books lesson was "To always remember to have someone's back and sometimes something nice will come back to you."
@fdexter1 I love your details!
@awhitfield4 Great Job!
Out of all the books I've read this year my favorite book is Percy Jackson The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. The Lightning Thief was my favorite book because of all the action & mythology in the book. For example when Poseidon came out of the water he was a giant at first but the he shrank to human size. I also like the book because of the theme that is always trust your family. Lastly, I like the book because of the action that occurs between Luke the son of Hermes and Percy Jackson the son of Poseidon when they are battling in mid-air.
@fdexter1 Sounds like a good book.
@awhitfield4 Sounds Interesting
Out of all the books that I’ve read this year, Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card is my favorite. I can’t really describe why it’s a good book in words, but I just love the suspense and detail it includes. The suspense keeps the reader wanting to know what happens next. Just setting it down once will leave you bothered because each page is something important and you just can’t leave yourself without knowing what happens next. The development of the main character especially is what keeps my pulled in. It shows us more insight on his perspective and feelings than an author usually would include in any other book. For anyone that likes Sci-fi and action, I would recommend this to them.
tfolston6 That sounds interesting.
Mcline1 I agree that Steelheart is a good book.
Out of all the books i read this school year this book is by far my favorite! This 9 weeks I read How to Survive High School by Lele Pons. This book if really funny and I never want to stop reading it. This book also relates to my life a lot. I love this most mostly because she shows that you can make something of yourself even when society tells you that you can't, and you don't have to be super popular to be successful!
@Jbruce2 I have heard that that is a good book!
@Zgano5 That sounds like a good book!
y favorite book that I read is The Raft by S.A. Bodeen. This is my favorite because it is an action/adventure book that is very interesting. Action/ adventure books are my favorite types of book to read because most of them keep you on the edge of your seat. The book is basically about a girl who gets in a plane crash and makes it onto a raft. She then must do her best on trying to get help and surviving. Not many books keep me interested, but this one did.
Sounds interesting LBaker4.
I read that book last year and it was very good Abennett6.
The book I have at the moment is,"this world we live in" by Susan Beth Pfeffer and I am done reading this book. Out of all the books I've read this year, this book has to be my favorite.This book just has so many details within it to describe and help you feel the atmosphere of the world. Not only that, but it's not a "happy ending" story either which I like more since happy endings tend to be bland. Just seeing their attempts to survive, their fights, and what they're willing to do, is very entertaining.
Out of all the books I've read this year my favorite would be Asylum by Madeleine Roux. This book has given me the most chills and the most suspense, I just love the mystery and the insanity in this story, it's different from any book I've read at all! I've read this book over five times already because of the story line, I guess I can't stay away from how differently this book is from all the "futuristic" books. The author deserves to keep writing more in this series, because she adds such detail that even the smallest detail of the stairs creaking sends a chill up my spine! That's why this book is my favorite out of all the other ones.
GMaran6
Now I want to read that book, detail is really important to good stories.
@Ischleissing4 I guess you could call it,"The" book for you.
@mdinh6 Ender's Game has been out for a while now and I should probably check it out by now with all the good reviews.
My favorite book that I read this school year was The Last Apprentice: Clash of the Demons by Joseph Delaney. This is my favorite because it takes place in Greece. Also, Tom's mom was the most dangerous witch: The Lamia. Tom's mom dies while fighting an Old God called the Ordeen. Alice ends up saving Tom with a blood jar.
brivera4
Sounds like a nice book, good choice!
My favorite book so far I read this year was Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I like this book beaches of its adventurous senses. Katniss Everdeen was brave enough to take her little sister place for the annual 74th Hunger Games. I liked how there was a plot twist at the end because there is only one winner who is supposed to live but there was two. The last thing I liked was how Katniss was pretending to love Peeta.
Jroach5 Nice book.
WDyke6 Awesome book.
My favorite book that i have read this year has definitely the one i am currently reading The lord of the flies by William Golding. I like this book because i simply do not reading and this book suddenly made me want to read and what most teachers have tought me was that to find that one special book that makes you want to read it. The overall theme of this story is a great reason why i love it so much it shows that even the situation you are in you cannot forget who you truly are. And the book is about children becoming complete savages. One of my favorite books that i have ever read.
Wdyke6 I also read that last year and really enjoyed it
Sthakor1 harry potter never fails
Through all the books I read this year, my favorite was The Night Gardener by Jonathan Auxier. It was favorite because it featured a lot of suspense and real problems. In the suspenseful moments, it was really dragged out and you didn’t know what was coming next. With the real problems, Molly’s little brother, Kip, was disabled and they were orphans, so those are things people every day can go through. So, this book was really my favorite.
Gazam5 That is a good book and series.
jroach5 That sounds like a good fantasy book.
My favorite book from this year is definitely "Magnus Chase and the Sword of Summer" by Rick Riordan. This is the case because it brought a new story with a new set of ancient myths to a style of writing that I really love. Rick Riordan has such a great style that brings together elements of humor and serious storytelling together in a both entertaining and enlightening way, this book in particular was a real gem in those ways and I await the next book in this story so that I can find out what happens next.
@Gazam5
I have not read the book but I bet it is much better than the movie
The book that I read is Heat by Mike Lupica and I am done with the book. My favorite book that I have read this year is Hero by Mike Lupica because of the constant action of the book and the mystery after each chapter. The book kept me wanting to read more of the book as I read further into it. Also in the beginning of the book the author introduced the characters well and let us know their personality. The end of the book Hero was also good as it gave a good action scene to end it off and left you on a cliff hanger to the next book.
@cpreston2 that book sounds good hope you enjoyed it.
@kkimbrough1 suspense in books can make the book much more entertaining.
My favorite book I've read this year is Duke. I like it because it shows a story about a boy and a dog who is going through personal problems at home and at school. He has to give up his dog and dad for war. He is also being bullied. He has to overcome all of this. That is why Duke is my favorite book.
@Kloeppel5 good book
@csscott1
It's great to see another fan of Rick Riordan!
@CPreston2 good descriptin
The book I'm currently reading is Loser by Jerry Spinelli and I'm done with the book. My most favorite book that i read was No Way Out. The reason it's my favorite book is because Harold's situation is always becoming worse and worse. It made me more focused in the book and if i wasn't paying attention. Those are the reasons I choose this book
@GKloeppel5 Mike Lupica is a good book
@kkimbrough1 sounds good
My favorite book was Scat by Carl Hiaasen. I especially liked this book because it was full of mystery and suspense. He introduced a lot of plots that didn't come together until almost the end of the book. This technique made the book a real page turner. I also liked the theme of the Florida panther as an endangered species. Since I live in Florida and the panther is such a beautiful animal, I found the story very moving but also sad.
@Cnelson2 This book sounds like something I would like to read because there is a lot of action.
@Zsbergman4 The theme of children becoming complete savages sounds great.
One of the books that was my favorite was Skink No Surrender. I chose this book because the author lived on Gainesville and it was about a young boy trying to find his cousin. This book touched me the most and made me wnat to read more. When he finally found her they ran away and found out the kidnapper died. And they both went home with no worries and there was a happy ending. I would definitely read this book again.
@Chon5
Good job.
@mcromarty2
Wow, so interesting!
Out of all the book i have read this year The Notebook, by Nicholas Sparks has been my overall favorite. This is because i could relate to some of the book. i understood the book, i felt what the characters felt. it was easy to understand yet hard sometimes and i love a little challenge. most of all, the genre of The Notebook is my favorite genre for any book or any movie that i watch.
mbowman4 your book sounds really interesting
ISwarts4 well that's a good point and good book
@WDyke6
The book sounds like an emotional book .
My favorite book I read this year was "Me Earl and the Dying Girl" by Jesse Andrews. I chose this book as my favorite because of how much emotion it evokes from the reader. You feel connected to the story when you read it. Also, the movie didn't ruin the book like most do. The producer didn't change anything about the original plot. It helped me understand the story more to see it acted out in a movie, which therefore allowed me to appreciate the book further.
@WDyke6
Good job.
Gazam5
Sounds like a good book.
Out of all of the books I have read this year my favorite has to be the one I just finished reading. The book is The Testing by Joelle Charbonnean and it is a book that I would recomend to anyone who likes books like The Hunger Games or Divergent. This book is about a girl selected for the testing with some other people from her colony. They go to the United Commenwealth where the testing center is located and participate in four stages of testing and then one final interview. The book also has some romance but the book is not centered around it which is what makes it great. Overall this book is action-packed with a small love story and is definitely my favorite book this year.
ESmith5
That sounds like a really good book. I also enjoy book that evoke emotions
LThigpin6
I have read that book before and I totally agree with what you said.
My favorite book is hard to choose since I have read so many. I would have to choose Invitation to the game by Monica Hughes. It had a nice sci-fi theme to it. I also really liked the characters learning how to start a new Earth on Prize. Also it took place in a very grim future. The dystopian theme was very realistic, not found in many books.
@Esmith5
That sounds like a very interesting book.
@snolen6
That was a very good book.
My favorite book I have read this year was a day no pigs would die by Robert Newton. This book is my favorite because of the story and the dialect. I just loved the story it was a fun story and the way it was written was awesome it was like you really felt for the kid in the story. When the pig died it was so sad. The other reason I liked the story was the dialect. I loved the type of language they used when writing the story. It made me feel like I was there as it was happening and that made it funny as well.
DBecker4 Seem like a good book
esmith5 That sounds like a cool book.
My favorite book that i have read this year is Dracula by Bram Stroker. This is my favorite book because it is full of suspicion,and mysteries. This book makes me think a lot. Dracula also keeps me on my toes, and i like that a lot about a book. I'm not finished with the book yet but i can just tell that it's a good book, and my favorite this year.
@SNolen6 I would like to read that book one day, it seems like a great book to read.
My favorite book this year is gotta be The Maze Runner by James Dasher. This book was my favorite because it had a lot of action and mystery. Like why did they get put in the maze. The action is the have to run the maze to get away from the grievers and also conflict with the other characters. The book was better than the movie it was way more detailed and it actually kept me reading.
@dtthomas1 that book sounds good it would read that.
@shoulihan1 I like that book too it was sad but good.
My favorite book is the Mocking Jay by Suzanne Collins. I like this book because it’s interesting. I have all of the movies. I also have read all the book in the series. This one was my favorite because it was really intense.
@ale2
Sounds like a good book.
@dtthomas1
Sounds like a good book.
Out of all the books I have read this year, Wonder by R.J. Palacio was my favorite. I liked how the story was from the point of view of a disabled boy and it told how he felt about his disability. I also liked that he made friends and went to camp. He was the only one who saw that he was ordinary. I liked how he put a positive look on disabilities.
ale2 I love that book.
shoulihan1 That book is so sad.
My favorite book I have read this year was "Warriors:The Sight" by Erin Hunter. I loved how the main character shifted so fluently throughout the book. It made the book interesting and made it to where I couldn't put it down. Also the fact that one of the main characters is blind also makes the levels of intrigue in this book go through the roof. This book is all around great.
@ajoeseph5
That's cool.
@gmaran6
That sounds like a really good book.
Out of all the books that I have read this year Micheal Vey by Richard Paul Evans. The reason why I like this book is because you have a little bit of everything in the book. You name it it has it, mystery, drama, action, suspense, and even a little of romance. I personally think that this book is perfectly well rounded. Not to mention the backstory to the whole book is very interesting as well. I just really enjoyed myself when I read this book.
@ahenderson4
I hear that that's a very good series.
@jroach5
I hear that that's a really good book, at least my friend thinks so.
My favorite book I have read this year would be Flawless by Sara Shepard. I liked this book because it wasn't like most books I've read since i could relate more since it was in a more modern time. Another reason i liked this book was because it wasn't confusing to read, it was simple and straight to the point. Since there is a tv show based off the book it was easier for me to understand what was happening. So thats why this was my favorite book I've read.
SNolen6 that sounds like a great book.
Jbruce2 that sounds like a very interesting book.
My favorite book that I've read this school year is Eight Keys by Suzanne LaFleur. I really like the story line of the book. It was mystery/drama/realistic fiction. It was about this girl in middle school that lives with her aunt and uncle, because her parents died. Her dad left her the rooms with keys and she has to find each key and figure out what each room means.
@sclark5 That's sounds like a good book.
@Jbruce2 That book sounds good.
My favorite book I've read this school year is Alex Rider by Anthony Horowitz. The book is very realistic however fiction. It shows how people can easily corrupt this world by being liars and fakers. It also shows how people can corrupt others as when M16 almost took away an entire life of someone by giving false information. It has a lot of action in it too.
hhoward6: suzanne makes great books
sclark5: thats a good book
Out of all the books I read this year Lost and Found By Anne Schraff. It is realistic fiction ,breathtaking , and gets your mind wondering . It was about a troubled teen named Jamee Wills who gets abused and used by her boyfriend . She starts failing school and her dad has returned after he left them for years. She doesn't feel loved because her mom is always focused on her perfect sister Darcy . So she gets overwhelmed and runs away from home .
I have currently finished reading John Flanagan's "Ranger's Apprentice book 3". Out of all th book I have read this school year for my mini projects my favorite has been "Were World book 2" I liked it the most because I enjoyed the characters and the story it told of a young prince who must take back his rightful home as king of lysia and bring back order.It is Also a fantasy book as it includes mythical beasts.

Sounds like an interesting book keep up the good work.
Out of all the books I have read this year, my personal favorite was probably “We Were Liars” by E. Lockhart. I would consider this book to be my favorite because it was very entertaining to read and I could make connections with some of the characters. Also, the plot line was very complex which made the story more interesting since it evoked thought in the readers. I also liked this book because it had elements of a variety of genres, which added a cool twist to the story. Overall, this book was very enjoyable to read.
@nlabender5
That sounds like a good book.
@hhoward06
That book sounds interesting.
Through out all of the books that I read this year I think that the 1st book of Daniel X
Is the best because of the great amount of action in it. Also the story plot had a great beginning and ending to it. As well as it being was the most understandable out of all the books. The second book was ok but I love the 1st one better. The theme of the 1st book was the best as well in my opinion.
Jedwards2 great discription
GKloeppel5 great job
That's a great book! @mncolton2
Sounds great @Jbruce2
My favorite book of the school year has been the book gathering blue by Lois Lowry.
I liked this book so much because it is written by a good author but also it was very interesting. The book was about something that you don't read about very often. The book was about a disabled girl who lived in a utopian society and how she has to survive with a corrupt government. The book also connects to the first book in the series.

sounds like a good book.

Good description of your book.
my favorite book that I read this year is Kissed by an Angel by Elizabeth Chandler. it's my favorite because it involved angels which is something I'm very interested in. it also had mystery about who killed tristan. not only that, but it had murder. I like reading books like that so it was my favorite. plus it had times in the story that were really peaceful and I could picture them well so they made me feel peaceful. I could read it over and over again
@nlabender5 yeah it's always good to like the characters. sounds like a good book
@DBecker4 I like the plot of that book. it seems very interesting
my favorite book i have read this year is jackie and me. Because of a few things, the suspense and role playing. It makes you feel like you are the main character. The main charsacter is in a really big holoe that he might not get out of and it is life and death, this creates suspense. That is what i like most about books, the suspense.
@erowland4 i started reading that book but it was slow and i stopped.
@My mom read that book and liked it a lot, i might have to read it.
Im am currently reading 39 clues 4 by Rick Roidan and I am done with the book. During the whole school year the best book I read was probably 39 clues 3. I think that was the best book ive read because it had the most action and conflict in it. In the book a 3 million dollar picture was stolen from a museum and Dan had to return it because people thought he stole it. He had to sneak by officers and even run in pursuit of not getting caught for something he didnt do. Just that was enough action to fill an entire book. The book also had great antagonist victories which I like because then the protagonist can make a great comeback.
@jsharrod
My brother is reading that book and he loves it. Glad you liked it too.
@sbell4
That sounds like a lot of drama, which I like.
I am currently reading Warriors "The Power of Three" Book 1 by Erin Hunter and I finished the book. My favorite book this year would probably be Warriors "Into the Wild". The book is really good and has cats in it. It has action and adventure and is also mysterious. I would recommended this book to anyone who like animals.It is a really good book.
jhardy5
I have read that book before and i liked it too.
