If I was the author I would change the title I would change the title because it has nothing to do with the story. The book is called this side of home and the story has nothing to do with being home. The author of the story is Ge nae and I Have currently finished the book. If I could change the story I would change it to Best friends because all it talks about is having best friends and how it’s important to everyone.

That book sounds like its a good book and its funny how you said thief in a night
KKimbrough1
Ive been trying to get that book
the book I am currently reading is sword art online alcination beginning im currently on page 272.if I was the author of this book I would add in another character to tell the story of whats happening to the sao survivors from the united states.
kherring2 that sounds interesting
KKimbrough1 that sounds interesting
I am currently reading Steve Jobs by Patricia Lakin and I just finished my book yesterday.Also if i was the author of my book i would change that t=she speaks as if shes Like Steve Jobs.This makes the book really weird because autobiographies usually are in third person.Also I would use a pen name because If I want a kid to pick up my book it has to have a cool name or a cool picture for them to pick it up.I would make these changes because every kid loves a little excitement im not saying change the whole book but I think these things should be change.
I am reading Harry Poter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling and I am in page 262. If I were the author I would change is how they put Harry with his aunt and uncle. I understand how they are kind of a big part in the book by his aunt being his dead mother's sister who doesn't like how she was a witch/wizard. I would have made Harry stay with Dumbledore or even Hagrid. Then again him being with his aunt and uncle who hate wizards and witches would make a better story of all of it. Everything blends in better when he stays with them.
@Lrepp4 that seems like an interesting book
@Snolen6 your book seems confusing but really interesting
That is goes for a lot of books amjohnston1.
I am reading 1984 By George Orwell i am done with this book. If i were to change anything about this book it would to be to explain what happened before he distopian future began and how it came out. This book truly is beautiful in many ways there is not many things anyone would like to change about it. Overall Grade A+ Book
I am reading Stormbreaker By Anthony Horowitz. The only thing I would change about my book is the fact that this book is not realistic what so ever. I get its a book but I would have made this book a little bit more realistic. But other that that this is a good book.
rpollock2
That is a good book.

That book sounds interesting
I am reading Air ball: My Life in Briefs and I am on page 83. If I was the author, I would change the book cover. I would change the cover because the cover of the book is a picture of 3 guys, which doesn't show the head, wearing only underwear. the cover does not typically match with the whole book. But the book and the picture both show or talk about basketball.
cnelson2 Heard of him. Never heard of the book.
I’m currently reading Enemy by Charlie Higson I'm on page 273. In the book the “grown-ups” (otherwise known as zombies) can’t speak, but they can operate machinery and are very smart. I would change this, I would have them adapt to the environment. It doesn’t make sense that they would be helpless and speechless, yet be extremely smart.
Zsbergman4 Heard of that book. Sounds interesting.
I am reading Miss Pergines home for peculiar children and i am on page 30. If i was the author of this book I would make everything more exiting all the time. In my book there are exiting parts and boring parts I would want it to be exiting all the time to keep my readers attention. The book I am reading is good but mostly boring so if I were the author i would make the story have more action. I would make all the characters interact to make the story interesting.
@Zbergman4 That sounds like a good book.
@cwright6 that book sounds good!
The book I am read is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and I am on page 185.If I was the author of the book I would change the main characters background. Katniss the main character's background is that her dad died and all she has is her mom and little sister. If I were the author I would also change her relationship with Peeta, in the book they've never met he just threw bread at her so I would make so that Peeta and Katniss were friends. And I would change it so that she had a mom but she didn't really care about them.
@kherring2
Sounds like a good book.
@Taasved4
Sounds like a good book.

I am reading Four by Veronica Roth, I am on page 22. If I were the author of this book I would make the story a little more action-packed. I would do this to keep the reader reading the story. Right now in the beginning of the book it is a little boring, the most exciting part in the beginning is when Tobias is running though the alley. If you don't understand how boring running though an alley without a person chasing you is, read this book, its really, really, boring.
kgardiner4
Good job.
I'm currently reading 39 clues 4 by Rick Roidan and I'm done with the book. If I were the author of this book I would have made the book longer and I would have put more heart beating action in the book. The book has a lot of dangerous and suspenseful events but there is only a little bit in each book.I would have also let Rodrick have a bigger part in the books because he is very funny. On the other hand, I would have Alistair Oh have less of an effect on the book's story line because he is very lazy and boring.
@kgardiner4
That sounds like a very great book.
@ahenderson4
That really sounds interesting. I might read it.
sclark5
That book sounds like a book I would want to read.
jhardy5
I read that book and it was a pretty good book.
I am currently reading The Martian by Andy Weir and am on page 204. If I was the author I would change what happened in the beginning part of the book. Mark Watney(Matt Damon) had to plant potatoes to survive. I would change that from potatoes to something like tomatoes. I would make this change because I think it would make the book funnier than it already is.
The book i am currently reading is "The Fallen" by Paul Langan i am on page 60. If i was the author i would change the way the charaters act. Some of the charaters make the book so not intresting they do the dumbiest thing. I would make the book more entertaining by having different stuff break out.
sounds good @Dsanchez
That sounds like a very good book @kgardiner4
i am reading Jackie and me and i just finished he book. One thing that i would change is I would make the suspense higher when he was about to be caught traveling back in time. This would make the book more interesting. Also, i would change why the kid was traveling back in time. Both of these things would make the book better in my mind.
@ab pugh
that book sounds very boring.
@DSanchez
that book sounds good, i might check it out.
I am currently the book "A LONG WALK TO WATER" by Linda Sue Park. I a,\m currently finished with the book. If I was the author I would change nothing. I would change nothing about the book because I like it so much. It is very well written leaving lots of cliffhangers at the end of chapters and paragraphs making you want to read more.
That sounds like a very great book.
@jsherrod
good job @sharriet4
I'm reading a book called Eight Keys by Suzanne LaFleur and I'm on page 309. I would change how Elise gets the keys. She gets them in a very boring way. One time she got one on her dresser by her socks. Another time, she found a key on her desk. It's just too plain.
@reparent5 I read that book at my old school.
@Jsherrod That book sounds cool.
Daneil X book 3 written by James Patterson and I am on page 71.And if i were one of the authors who wrote this book I would change how many times we see maya in the book so far.I think this because she is the main characters sister so i thought that she should be mentioned more so far into the book. plus they should be very close so they should have conversation a lot. but even though that is true that dose not mean that they are close.
hhoward06 very good job
@kgardiner4 nice decription
I'm reading Misery by Stephen King. I'm on page 118 where Paul, the main character is forced to come up with a way to bring his book series back to life. If he doesn't, his kidnapper Annie Wilkes will kill or torture him. He has no way of escaping from Annie because his body was badly damaged in a car crash, making him unable to move. If I could change anything in the book, I would obviously let Paul free, but that's boring. I would change the way his last Misery book ended, and make Misery live. Then he could write his next book and maybe live longer to escape.
@rpollock2 how does it start off
@fdexter1 If it's a math test I can understand how that would be a life or death situation (jokes with Sofia)
The book I am, reading is “Spirt Animals, Hunted” by Maggie Stiefvater. I am currently on page 59. If I could change something in this book, it would be the minds of the three kids who think Abeke is a traitor. All three are stuck up and rude, they don’t even give Abeke a second chance. They all think that she choose to be with enemy, when the truth was, she was all alone, and so happens the enemy got to her first.
@mncollon2, that would be an excellent thing to change, but of course, more of a certain character leaves less of another.
@rparent5, it must be a really good book if you do not wish to change a single thing. I must check this book out. The title sounds vey interesting.
I am currently reading Begging for change by Sharon G. Flake, and I'm on page 93. If i was the author I would change the name of the book to Change is coming. I would change the name because the title of the book makes it seem like someone in the book is poor or homeless,because on the title page their is pennies coming down from the sky, but instead of that i would use change in a different term. I would use the word "change" to say new beginnings.
@nmccleese1 are the animals possessed? Your book sounds scary....
@svhernandez06 I think i have heard of your book, how is it?
The story I am currently reading is diary of a wimpy kid and the author of the book is Jeff Kinney and the page I am currently on is 137. If I was author of this book I would change the theme of the story because it’s getting boring. I would change Greg to an adult now instead of being a child every series of the book. I would make Rodrick have children to see if they get along with Greg because Greg and Rodrick never really got along.
@dtthomas good job
mcolton2 good job
I am currently reading Promises to Keep by Paul Langan and I'm on page 60. If I was the author of this book I would make some changes to the book. Some changes I would make is the order the story was put it in . I would have put it in chronological order because it would be easier for the reader to understand. It helps you figure out when an event in the story took place so it want twist the plot .
Sounds like a good book @cpreston2
Is this a movie ? @dnazario2
The book I am currently reading is The Raft by S.A. Bodeen and i'm on page 202. If i were the author of the book i would create more suspense in the book and i would make there be more close encounters with death. The book was very good so far don't get me wrong but it would add so much more if it had some more suspense. It would just make me want to read more and more. but even without it I really enjoy it.
jedwards2 I've read that book and i agree it would be much better with those changes.
zberroa1
I agree with those changes.
If you were the author of your book what would you change? Why would you make this change
I am reading wild wood by Colin Meloy and I am on page 160. If I were the author of the book I would change the amount of main characters, I would add a character to help the main character in her adventures. I would make this change because right now the main character in the book is lonely which is making the book somewhat boring. In the book the main character is on the hunt to find her lost brother but ends up getting herself lost in the process, even though the book does change perspectives, that isn't enough to keep the book interesting.
swilliamson2
Good idea, that is what I did.
zberroa1 That is very creative.
In my book, “The Bridge from Me to You” by Lisa Schroeder, I am on done with this book. If I was the author I would change the way each chapter ended. In this book the chapter ends with a suspense saying that the character thinks about. I would make this change because it kind of confuses the reader, because it has nothing to do with the current chapter. Like on page 299, Lauren says “Do you really wanna know?” It doesn’t make any sense to me.
The book I'm reading is called football champ by Tim Green I'm on page 19. I don't like the way the book started because it started in the middle of a football game. Me personality i wouldn't start a book like that because you could of started with like some events in the kids life. I would change the cover of the book because its boring and lame.But so far I'm enjoying the book i hope it ends better than it started.
I am reading I Am Number Four By: Pittacus Lore. One thing I would change would be the Love part of the book. Like when he first met Sarah. Apparently it was love at first sight. I think it made the book kind of cliché. In my opinion. I would make this change because it made the book kind of boring.
@arobinson2, that sounds interesting...
@eoliver1, sounds cool
I’m reading the book “You’re Bacon Me Crazy”, by Suzanne Nelson. I’m on page 62 and if I had to change something about my book it would be how Asher and Tessa act towards each other. Because they act rude and hateful towards each other but I think they should be a little bit nicer. Also I wouldn’t make Asher such a stuck up rich kid like she thinks he is.
I'm reading Grace Gold and Glory by Gabby Douglas. I am currently on page 111. If I could change something about it I would spell everything right. She has a lot of typos. I would change this because it's confusing.
@erowland4 that sounds like an interesting book.
@taasved4 your book sounds good.
I have just finished reading “Cured” by Bethany Wiggins. The thing that I would change is the ending. In the end the main characters all went to a peaceful town and then it ended. I would have changed this because they didn’t completely fix the world. They had the cure for all of the beasts but, didn’t save them. They had only saved 1 one human and that’s it. Now they are now living peacefully when the rest of the world is still chaos. In the end I would have made them save the world with the cure and the world would be focusing on fixing the world back.
ergauthier2 sounds like a good book
eoliver1 good point
