I am currently readding "Flush" ny Carl Hiaasen, and i am on page 125. A main event in my book is that the main character's dad gets arrested. His dad was arrested because he sunk a boat of a man he believed was dumping waste into the river. The dad also refuses to leave on bail because he wants to prove a point. If I was in that situation and my dad got arrested it would be very difficult to deal with. I would not be mad at my father, like the son in the book I would be sad but I would understand why he did it. He was just doing what he thought was right, although I dont know how other people would see it. I think that the hardest part would be trying to deal with what other people in the town would say about my dad.

The book I am currently reading is On the Fence by Kasie West and I am on page 167. A main event that happened in my book is Charlie and Braden are best friends but they have feelings for each other. She doesn't want any of her family members to know about it, so she meets Braden every night by the fence (because they are neighbors) so they can see each other. If I were in this situation, I would tell my family that I'm seeing Braden. So I wouldn't be able to keep this a secret from my family. If I were Charlie, I would tell my parents I am seeing Braden every night. If one day, we decided to get married and have a big wedding, then my parents will know that we were seeing each other. They would be furious that I've kept it a secret for years. So if I were in Charlie's situation, I would tell my parents that Braden and I are together.

I am reading Chomp by Carl Hiaasen and I am currently on page 114. A main event in my book is when Wahoo's dad, Mickey Cray, has to decide whether or not he wants to participate in a local T.V show after he fights off a ferocious gator. The problem is that he doesn't agree with the people who work for the show. He would turn them down, although they are offering him a large amount of money, and he needs it. In this situation, I would take the offer. To me, the money would be worth a few days with some people I don't quite like.

I'm currently on page 166 of the book "Perfect" by Sara Shepard. A recent situation from the book is when Hanna Marin accidentally goes into the boys bathroom. In the bathroom there's this toilet called Old Faithful, and every hour it "erupts". She was in that stall when it happened and then a guy came in the bathroom. His name was Lucas and he knew it was her because he saw her go in the bathroom. If it was me in that situation I probably would have FREAKED out, then pretended I was a dude or that i wasn't actually in there. Then once he left I would make sure that no one saw me leave the bathroom.

my friends and famiI am currently ready Ghost of War by Ryan Smithson and i am on page 233. The main event in the book is when the character leaves to the army. He is still young and has no idea what is going to happen, if i was caught up in that even though i signed up for it i would be pretty nervous. After all your fresh out of high school and going to Iraq one of the most dangerous places in the world . I would tell my friends family wish me luck ill be back soon to give them hope and myself.

The book I am reading is the comeback kids by Mike Lupica and I am on page 161. A recent situation that happened in the book is when the main character Scott Parry and Chris Colon got into a huge argument over something that they could’ve handled alone. Instead the whole football team had to handle it and both of them got kicked off of the football team. I would’ve tried to talk it out instead of arguing about it. This could’ve easily turned into a huge fight. I would’ve also never listened to the other people and asked Chris what happened.

great job @alandi4 i wouldve handled it that way too

The book i am currently reading is unstoppable by Tim green.i am currently on page 175. what event happen recently in the story was the game was on the line and coach had the opportunity to choose what play can be used to win the game. on the ten yard line whether to run it or throw is and he decided to run it. however they did not score and they lost the game. if it was my up to me i would have decided to run it also but run it in a more orderly fashion.

I am reading My Ishmael, by Daniel Quinn and i am on page 172. Recently my main character had a talk with Ishmael about how people can be better and what wold make our schools work better. In my opinion, our schools would be more effective if people genuinely cared about working hard and learning, not just doing homework to get good grades. People should want to learn not think of it as a chore, but unfortunately that's all it is seen as.

I am reading the book "Stormbreaker" by Anthony Horowitz, and i am on page 51. The event in my book that i came across is that the main character came across an assault course with nets, ladders, tunnels and ditches, towering walls, and swinging tightropes, and he thought of it as a "adventure playground from hell." I would've believed in myself and try as hard as i can to get across the obstacle. The hardest part would be the towering walls out of all obstacles in the course. And the main character falls off of the rope and into a pit of freezing slime.

i am currently finished with the book Fan girl by Rainbow Rowell. One of the situations that the character faces in my book is cheating. In the story someone cheats her story off to win a contest. If this ever happens to me i would probably write a nasty letter and throw it out the window just because that's what makes me feel better.

I am currently reading "Dead girls don't lie" by Jennifer Shaw Wolf, I am in page 35. Rachel died a few days ago, Jaycee is trying to search what really happened to Rachel. Rachel was found dead in the old house, the police said it was an "accident", but Jaycee knows it was not. One thing that happened recently is that Jaycee was invited to her friends house, close to the old house(where Rachel died). she wanted to take a look at the house to find clues. the door was locked so she decided to go through the window, but there was broken glass, so she had a towel and she climbed carefully, this guy appears from nowhere and she slips and fall's and he asked her "what are you doing here" she was without words. If I were her I would tell him that my phone got up there because I threw it ,and I didn't notice the window with broken glass, I would get nerves, but if he goes upstairs to get my "phone" I would run as fast as I can and get out of there.

I am currently reading "Do Not Pass Go" by: Kirkpatrick Hill, i am on page 127. One event that happened in my book is that the main character Deet went to talk to his father which is currently in jail. He was really nervous to do it. If i was in that situation i would be going off on my father because he shouldn't be in jail in the first place! Now you already know nobody is going to bail you out so why do it in the first place.

I recently just finished “One Tough Chick” by Leslie Margolis. A recent event from my book was the talent show. In the book Annabelle was one of the three the student judges for the show. Instead of her being fair, she was being biased. She picked her friends instead of being fair. That was one of the basic rules she had to follow. I would have handled the situation by being fair about it. I would have just picked who I thought did the best, not my friends.

I am reading "Flush" by Carl Haaisen and I finished the book. One event that has occurred in my book is Noah and Abbey put purple dye in the sewer tank to prove that the cruise ship was really dumpling human waste in the ocean. Noah and Abbey were scared to get caught by the manager and that they might die because Luno was a body guard and he was chasing them. I would not have even gone to try to prove that they were dumping things in the water I would have been scared to get caught. I would not have been as brave as Noah and Abbey and would have chickened out.

I know it's out of season, but I am on page 84 of Let it Snow by 3 authors: John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle. The most recent event in my book involved tons of snow. It's Christmas Eve and the main character, Jubilee, is on a train to Florida to see her grandparents, but the biggest snow storm in 50 years is taking place. The train crashes into snow, so Jubilee gets off and walks to the closest building to the train: Waffle House. She met someone there and they headed off to his house. This is where the most recent even took place. Jubilee and her new found friend, Stuart, had to march through snow to get to Stuart's house. It took about an hour to almost be at his house, but upon arguing with Stuart Jubilee stomps her feet not knowing of the frozen creek below them. The ice cracks and they fall in. Goodness, if this happened to me I probably wouldn't be able to handle it at all. Snow is so pretty and I love the cold because I have a reason to wear warm clothes, but i hate the cold! I'm always cold, and if this happened to me I probably wouldn't make it through.

I am currently done with book Daniel X by James Patterson. Recently in the book Daniel is fighting one of the most toughest aliens. He knew he wasn't as strong as the alien, so he morphed himself into a fly and crawled into his ear and just destroyed everything in his head until he died. I thought this was really awkward but I would have gotten a sword and pretended I was going to fight him when actually my friends were and just kill him from behind.

I am currently reading Dead is a Battle Field by Marlene Perez and I am done reading it. An event that has happened is that Eva got trapped in a house full of zombies and she didn't know what to do. If it was me trapped in the house I would have tried to find an exit instead of trying to fight them and hide. I don’t think that was a very smart decision made by her and she is fairly smart person. She called for help but ended up getting them stuck too.

I read Framed by Gordon Korman, and I finished the book. A recent event from my book is Griffin Bing was under a court order of house arrest, and parole. House arrest is basically like you can't leave you house except for school. So one of Griffin's friends tricked his parole anklet so he could leave his house to pull off one of his plans. Unfortunately the trigger on the anklet went off so he had to rush home before the police got there. I think I would have done the same thing but I would have told the cops the truth(griffin lied to the cops and said he was at the house all along).

I have finished reading Chupacabra. A main event in the story is when Grace's friends save her from being kidnapped by her grandfather and a rich zoo owner. If I was in that situation and I was her friend I would had saved her too. She wasn't just a friend though, she helped them discover a giant squid in the book before. I didn't read the first book though.I think the hardest part of the main event in the story is trying to get past security to the bottom of the zoo, because the guy who owns it has unseeable cameras everywhere and is very wealthy.

@alandi4 I never knew a man can get arrested for sinking a boat that's terrible! But it sounds like a good book though.

I am reading The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian by C. S. Lewis, and I’ve finished the book. A main event that happened in my book is that after they defeat Caspian’s uncle Miraz, Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy had to leave Narnia. Even more upsetting, this was Peter and Susan’s last time in Narnia. But Edmund and Lucy would one day come back for their final time. And Caspian was made king of Narnia after his uncle was defeated. If I was in that situation it would be very sad because I would have to leave Aslan, Caspian, and all the creatures in Narnia for a very long time. Plus I’d miss all the treasure I’d have to leave. The last situation in the book that I remember is that her son accidentally tapped the bunker of a man's and the man was about to shoot him. Mary told him to run to his car and drive away. How I would handle this if I was Mary is that I would have done the same thing: tell him to get the heck out of there. She was over the phone so she didn't push him. Don't worry he did do what she told him but I would have screamed a little louder into the phone.

I was reading "Ender's Game" by Orson Scott Card, and I am finished with the book. A recent event in my book that happened is that the aliens were finally defeated by Ender and his Dragon Army. If I was in Ender's position I would have done the same things he did to make this happen except I wouldn't let more of my army die in the process. I would've sent more battleship to attack the aliens than Ender did because a lot more of my army would die if I didn't. The next thing I would do would be celebrate differently than Ender did, he went home hugged his parents and talked to them for a while then played video-games while I would celebrate by having a victory party. It is pretty weird to come home from saving a world and just play video-games in my opinion at least.

Everyone thinks Georgia is the same because she's Ralph's sister. If I was in this Story I would've made Ralph admit that I was a good person because everyone would've been treating me the same way they were treating him and I wouldn't like that.

I also would read a magazine or go on my phone to not be distracted by my fear.

Iam currently reading True Legend by Mike Lupica and I'm on page 115. The last major thing to happen was that Drew's team won the championship game but Drew didn't do very well. He handled it by locking himself in his room and thinking about what went wrong. I would have handled it by locking myself in my room and hitting things until I calmed down. I wouldn't handle the situation very well but if you're the only one on your team that didn't score in the championship game then I don't think most people would handle it well.

Right now he is going to a neighbors house and spending time over there with their third child. If I were in his situation I would not leave my house because if they find you in the book you get sent away or killed. I wouldn’t be risking my life to go and hangout with someone next door.

I currently am finished with Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick. Papa George(A guy Hugo got in trouble with earlier, the toy maker) is actually the legendary filmmaker George Melies, and the builder of Hugo's automoton. Melies' dreams were crushed in a war and he no longer believes in happy endings. When Hugo tries to return the rebuilt automoton to Melies, it is destroyed during a chase with the Station Inspector, who ends up saving Hugo from being crushed by a train. Although the automoton is broken once again, the fact that Hugo reintroduced Melies to his films and automoton is enough to re inspire Melies, so he adopts Hugo and returns to the public eye where his films are widely recognized and all who crossed paths with Hugo end up happy. If i were in the story I wouldn't of been able to handle this whole situation because of just how crazy it is!

I am currently reading football champion and the author's name of my book is Pat Hughes and I finished the book. An event in my book was that my character in middle school(8th grade)he broke his leg in a football game and couldn't play for the rest of the season. If that was me I would have went to the hospital. When I could walk I would put pressure on it to make it regain most or full strength in my leg again so I could play football. I would walk miles, run miles, or even crawl miles if I have to just to play football. Football is a challenging sport so you will get hurt but hopefully not to bad so you can play again.

The book I am reading is "Far Far Away" by Tom Mcneal, page 105. A recent event was that Jeremy broke into the bakers house with his friend Ginger, and a few other girls. If I was in that position, I most likely would not have gone along with Ginger because I would have been scared to get in trouble. If I did go, I most likely would have been caught at the scene, instead of later, because I am very clumsy.

If I was in Hazel's position, I would've tried my hardest not to cry in front of him, but i would end up bursting into tears. I think Hazel is strong for not crying because finding out that the person you love has cancer is a hard pill to swallow. He was at Seth Holloway's door, who is Troy's mom's boyfriend, and is saying that he's sorry for not coming into his life sooner. He said he didn't even know Troy existed. His mom didn't trust him and was yelling at him to leave. Troy didn't say anything though. If that was me I would've had mixed emotions. I would've been happy that I finally got to meet my dad, sad that my parents are arguing, and mad because my mom is telling him to go away. But, unlike Troy, I would've said something about it. Currently I am reading “The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins and I’m on page number 53. I would have probably handled it by listening to my mother cry her tears for me and I would proceed to the stage as quickly as I could and then I would wait for whoever would be chosen for the male tribute. After hearing the names called I would be rushed to the place where people could say their goodbyes and such and I would go through that, knowing that these were going to most likely be my last few words spoken to the people who came by. But in Katniss’s version they end the goodbyes too soon and Gale is dragged outside of the room and she can’t hear what he was going to say. If that happened to me I would be struggling to hear what someone said as the peacekeepers tried to hold me back. There might be some thrown punches as I try to get to my friend.
