I am currently reading The Alienist Caleb Carr.
If I were to take the place of one of the characters in the book it would be the murderer. It would give me and interesting and very enlightening look at the psychology and behavior of criminals in the past. Not to mention seeing how he picks his victims, that almost always seem to be minors. Children annoy me.
The book I've read was I,Emma Freke by Elizabeth Atkinson an I'm finished with the book. If i had take the place of a character in my book it would be Penelope. I'd pick Penelope because she's a great best friend. Over the summer she take surprise trips and summer camps. Penelope also is outgoing and confident.
fwbougher good job
I am currently reading The kingdom keepers: Disney after dark its written by Ridley Pearson and I am on page 120. Now, if I could be any character I would be Finn. I chose Finn because he is a boy too so our genders don’t have to change. Plus, he lives near Orlando close to Disney world so he can go there any time he wants. He also has a job that pays and he’s older than me so he has more privileges.
I am currently reading Time for Andrew by Mary Hahn. If my character had one place to go it would probably back home. He was kinda forced to go to his grandmas. He really doesn't like it there, he gets the chills a lot. He really wishes he was home.
mmercado6 good job!
I am currently reading the book "Slated" by Teri Terry, and I am on page 156. If I had to take place of a character in my book, it would be Kyla. I would take place of Kyla because Kyla has great qualities. She is adventurous, independent, smart, brave, mature, curious etc.. She can manage to do the toughest things on her own. She has very little help but that doesn't stop her at all. She is still flawed and fearful but she keeps it to herself and continues to push through. Kyla is like a hero and I would take her place over any other character in the book.
| @fwbougher : Interesting perspective. I would have never thought to be a criminal. Great job!
| @JMagnus : Great response! Cool character.
I finished reading the last apprentice Revenge of the witch by Joseph delaney. If I had to take a place of a character it would be the spook because he has the most important job. And his job requires lots of work and walking. I would also be him because he gets to wear a cool outfit that makes him look dark and mysterious.
Good job ddavis5
Great response pbennis2
ddavis5
thanks, I know I'm fantastic.
rcortes5
to me the comment "good job" just means "I commented gimmie an A" but I guess it works so... Good job!
I am reading the book The Phantom tollbooth by Norton Juster.It's a really good book by the way.Anyway,the character in the story that i would take the place of is Milo ( aka the main character). I chose him because as he is traveling through this fantasy wonder land he learns things about the world and himself.
rcortes5
great job on your blog! i might read that next.
great job fwbaugher nice blog!
I am reading “Theodore Boone: the accused” by John Grisham, and I am on page 85. If I had to take the place of one character in my book I would choose Pete Duffy. I would choose him because I want to know what he is feeling and why or if he actually killed his wife. Pete is under trial for the murdering of his late wife, and I would want to know as much as I possibly could about him and why he did it, but the only way to find that out is if I were him.@ PBennis2 good thinking!
@ddavis5 great job
I am reading "A Matter Of Trust" by Anne Schraff and I am on page 35.I would take Hakeem place because he is strong,he can sing,play the guitar,and he gets good grades.He is vey thoughtful he thinks about everybody before he thinks about his self.He plays a big manly role because his father has cancer.
Jglover2 good response
ddavis5 good job
I was reading "Across the Wide and Lonesome Prairie" by Kristina Gregory. I have finished my book. YAY! Yes, I would trade lives, but only for a day. I just want to experience what Hattie did. I would let her live my life for one day too.
mmercado6 ~ good job!
thines6 ~ great blog... TJ :)
I am currently reading Fire from the rock by Sharon M. Draper. I am on page 120. If i had to take the place of one character in my book i would take the character of Gary. Gary is the oldest brother and he is determined to fight for what is right. He is against Segregation and he will do anything to protect his two sisters Sylvia and Donna Jean. He will also do anything to protect his people.
ddavis5
Great Job.!
Pbennis2
Good job on your blog.!
I’m reading Half a Chance by Cynthia Lord and am on page 60. If I could trade places with someone in my book I would trade places with Nate Bailey. I would trade places with Nate because he knows everyone in the neighborhood. Lucy on the other hand is new and doesn't know anyone, I know how she feels being new. Nate is super friendly and I would like not to be new and be the one that helps the new kids.
@fwbougher
Good blog!!
@ddavis5
Great post!!
My book was Hideout by Gordon Korman, and I am finished with the book, but I haven't started another yet. If I had to tae the place of one of the characters of Hideout I would probably be Savanna. I would be Savanna because she devotes her love and compassion to the love of her life...Luthor. Luthor is a dog. She also loves any animal that comes her way...and I feel like I could meet that standard.
amountain4: good job. keep up the good work.
cbascom6: good job. keep up the good work
I am currently reading Small as an Elephant by Jennifer Jacobson. I am on page 90. If I could trade places with anyone in the book I would probably choose Aiden. Aiden is a boy that Jack finds and starts hanging out with. I would change with Aiden so that I could help Jack find his mom.
ddavis5 Great job and good reasons for why you would be that character.
JMagnus Great job. I would definitely want to live in Orlando to be able to go to Disney
The title of my book is Miracles and Massacres by Glenn Beck and I am on page 29. If I had to take the place of one character in my book it would be Jack Jouett. I would take the place of Jack because he lives kind of dangerously and he is very daring. Jack Jouett was also an important figure in American history. Jack Jouett is brave and confident and not one who you would describe as a coward. So if I had to chose one Character in my book to take the place of I would want to take the place of Jack Jouett dangerous, daring, brave, bold, and courageous.
@ddavis5
Outstanding Blog!
@fwbougher
Great post.
I'm currently reading the Clockwork Princess, the author is Cassandra Clare, on page number 53, and the genre is fantasy fiction. If i was to be anyone in the book it would have to be Gideon Lightwood, a character who isn't the main but whose story is very interesting. He came to London after being in Spain for five years and abandoned his father when he heard about his disease and his ties with the main antagonists of the story. Also the kindest of the Lightwood family members. His role in the story is crucial since he helps the main characters accomplish their goals by battling along side and providing any and all information to the people he is loyal to. Another thing that made him interesting was that he was planning to leave his father a couple of days after he came back from Spain. One more is when his mother committed suicide but the papers that his dad had confiscated had said that she killed herself because of a terrible disease with no cure. So, would chose Gideon Lightwood as a character to play in the Clockwork series.
fwbougher: Interesting that you want to be the murderer of the story, but you didn't state page number.
ddavis5: Great work and you finished a book, even better.
Currently I am rereading the harry Potter series and I am on book four, “The Goblet of Fire”, by J.K. Rowling and I am on page number 219. If I had to take place of someone in the book I would most likely be Fred or George Weasley, so I could mess with everyone and tell them that I was the other twin. But most importantly I would be able to experiment and make many many other items for their store, “Weasleys Wizard Wheezes” Plus I would be able to annoy Percy and probably all the other residents of The Burrow. Maybe I would even make something that would help the gnome problem.
@fwbougher - same same, I would love to take the murderers point of view and see how their mind works on choosing things and undergoing their plans
@kcecilio6 - great job! c:
I am reading The Rivalry by John Feinstein and I am currently done with the book. If I had to pick one character from the book to take place of it would be Stevie. Stevie is one of the two main characters in the book and I feel like we have a lot in common. We both love sports and know a lot about them. He is also always in a lot of trouble which may or may not be like me.
MPickles6 I have heard that those Harry Potter books are very long.
JGlover2 I read that book last year.
I am reading The Rivalry by John Feinstein and am currently on page 110. If I could take the place of someone in the book, it would most likely be Secret Agent Peter Dowling. I chose Peter because he is the most important person throughout the Agents. Peter is the guy in the movies who isn’t a main character but like saves the main characters life during a shootout. I just think I would fit his role perfectly.
@JGlover2 Tremendous Work!!
@RAbrams2 Outstanding job!!
@MPickles6 Perfectly put Love it!!
@BaMitchell good blog
The title of my book is “The Boy Who Couldn’t Die”. The Author Is William Sleator. If I had to take a place of any character in my book it would be….Sabine because she lives on a beautiful island called St. Calao she goes scuba diving and she doesn’t have to go to school. She helps Ken with getting his soul back but has some trouble on the way. She almost got killed twice once on the plane and the other time in the hotel room.
@Jglover2 good job
@RAbrams2 I really like yours
i am currently reading elijah by christopher paul curtis and im on page 192. if i had to take place of a character in my book i would take the preacher. i picked him because he is actuall pretty helpful, and everyon comes to him when help is needed. he dose is job well and hes popular around Buxton hes just the person to be. he also is alway volonteering to do stuff not needed but nowon cares.
@Vnelson great job
Good job @Jmartin3
yes
I am reading The Ghost of Graylock by Dan Poblocki, and I am finished with the book. If I had to be one character in the book I would be Wesley because he is the only one in the group that is not getting haunted. He also has nothing going on with his family, but the other two characters are having issues with their parents. Wesley has also live in Graylock the longest in the town and knows how to escape out of anything if he is in trouble. Wesley also knows more people so he can get more information about Graylock.
@ddavis good blog
Vnelson2 Good comments,I guess.
The theme of my book is Don't let the world push you down and beat you up stand high and tall. I learner that if you keep pushing you can achieve your goals.I am reading Holes By Louis Sachar and I am on page 89.
VNelson2 nice job.
I am currently reading "the rivalry" by John Feinstein. The person I would take place is Peter because he comes out an saves everyone, because he save the main characters life during a shootout.
that's why id like to take peters place.
VNelson2: good job you are reading the same book as me!
fmhobson3: interesting, but you need more sentences.
Im currently reading The Underdogs By Mike Lupica And I'm on page 1. The character i would be is Will Tyler Because he is the fastest twelve year old in town. Also he has a team.Bur I might not want to be because his season is coming to an end.
I am reading the book cress by Marissa Meyer. if i could e any character i would be cress because cress is a really cool friend. she also is a really cool person i general. cress in this book has to join a fugitive group. and she has to team up with scarlet and cinder to save the world.
I am currently reading Smiles to Go by Jerry Spinelli and I am on page 143. If I had to take place with one character in my book it would be Mi-Su. I would want to take place with Mi-Su because she has a wonderful friendship with her closest friends. She is very fond of them and it sounds like she has a lot of fun. Spending countless hours with my best friends sounds like a perfect life to me.
ktodd4, good blog!
jlennon4, keep up the good work!
good post jlennon4
i love that book njlewis4
Great job @fmhabson3 I think youy book is good. And I might wanna be that character.
@rcortes5. I think you should work on your sentences.
I just recently finished "The Heartbreak Messenger", by Alexander Vance. If I were to choose to be a character in my book I would be Quentin. I would be Quentin because he is the main character of the book, he matters he most. he is also the messenger. he gets paid to break up with people for people that don't have the heart to do it. I'm not saying it's something to be proud of,but a job is a job. You have to make money some type of way. It shouldn't matter, as long as someone is making money.
the name of my book is "search for safety" by John Langan. I am currently on page 20. If I was to pick any one in my book to be I would choose to be Ben. I would choose Ben because he is very smart even though his "step dad" is very abusive I would still choose him. If I was Ben and my step father abuse me the way he abuse Ben I would defend myself.
dkeaton4 your book sounds amazing
jsmith4 great blog !
I am currently reading the clue of the broken locket.
By Carolyn keene, i am on page 134.
If i would pick a character in my book it will be nancy. Nancy is a smart girl and a detective who
resolve cases she is very impressive.
she also is an aplomb person because she is sure
about herself she has self confidence.
The book i am currently reading is 'The Paladin Prophecy' by:Mark Frost. i am on page 354. If i could stake the place of any character in my book it would be Will West 'the main character.' The reason why i would take pale with him is because he is really smart and he goes to a really big school that has all the 'overachievers.' The place is descried pretty awesomely in the book. In the book it states that their rooms are like five star hotel rooms.The school provides the rooms like a college dorm.
@ddavis5
great blog!
@emasio6
awesome blog!
I am currently reading “Fake Me a Match” by Lauren Barnholdt and I am on page 245. If I had to take place of one character in my book, I would take place of Avery, who is the main character. I would chose Avery because she is in student council and has the opportunity to rule whatever project that the student council has. Also, she gets to be part of the club with her step-sister and have a lot of fun. Plus, she gets two dogs which she wanted for years and has a great opportunity to become friends with Sam. Even though she had problems with the project, she had the ability to overcome with it.
@cbascom6 Nice book!
@jsongayb4 Great details! Good job.
I am Reading The Last Apprentice:Night Of the Soul Stealer by Joseph Delaney and I am on page 155. If i Had to choose one character to take the place of, it definitely would not be any of the three main characters. Let's start of with Thomas, the main character. I wouldn't want to be him because of all the crap he goes through. He takes walks all across the county carrying the spooks heavy bag, and has to fast while doing it. Only eating little nibbles of cheese and sleeping in old abandoned, drafty farms. There are similar for not being the Spook to, and he is very old. Alice lives in a terrible house working all day and being yelled at. If I had to pick one character to be it would be someone at his farm back home. Probably his brother because he has a nice life. Works and has a wife and family, so i would pick Thomas's brother.
@PBennis2 Great blog, sounds like a fun person to be.
@jglover2 Sounds like an interesting character to be.
I am reading Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. I am currently on page 101. If I had to take the place of one character in my book I would have to choose Gale. I choose Gale because besides Peeta, he is one of the bravest men in the rebellion. Plus he’s always there for Katniss and always ready for fight. He us lots of cool weapons and gadgets in battle.
cmcknight4
Great blog!!
jsongayab4
Sounds fun and interesting!!
My book is "Tiger's Curse" the author is Colleen Houck and I have already finish my book. If I could take place of one character in my book it would be Kelsey. Not only does she gets 2 loyal tigers beside her, she goes on life changing adventures. Also because Kelsey is very brave to be able to help the tigers' break the curse and to put her own life at risk. Taking Kelsey's plase in the book would be very interesting since I would be able to see the story from a different perspective.
jsongayab4 Nice response! The book seems very interesting. BHastings3 Great reponse!
I am currently reading The LOTF by William G.and i've finished. If i were to take the place of one of the characters i would choose Jack. This is because he manages get a group of survivors and be fed. Also he stays alive and gets rescued. Jack would be the character i choose.
JMagnus... nice blog havent read it.
ddavis5... intuitive really great!
I am reading Shadow of the Hegemon by Orson Scott Card and I'm on page 300. If I had to take place of one of the characters in the book it would be Bean. The reason I would be Bean is because he is really smart. I would be able to just ace a test if I forgot to study. I would never get an f because I would remember things so easily. Another thing is that he doesn't even go to school so I would most definitely take his place rather than anyone else in my book.
@fwbougher good job on the blog keep up the great work.
@ddavis5 Nice blog sounds like an ok book just from who you want to be as a main character good job might read it sometimes.
I am currently reading Ready Player One by Ernest Cline and I am on page 281. If I could take the place of anyone in my book, it would be James Halliday, an extremely famous and extremely rich video game designer known for creating the OASIS. The OASIS is a highly advanced simulation game that most of humanity uses to escape the terrible world they live in and therefore spends way too much time in. The success of the OASIS made Halliday the richest man in the world, with 240 billion dollars, and equally famous. Obviously I would choose to take his place, since he is arguable the most powerful man in the world at the time, and could do pretty much anything he wants because of his ridiculous amount of money. I would also like to say that money and power is not what I strive for in life, but nobody can deny that it would be amazing to have it.
fwbougher: You did a good job with answering the blog question and had good explanations, although your choice was also quite disturbing and terrifying.
MPickles6: Great job and great choice, I would want to be one of them too.
I am currently reading QB1 by Mike Lupica and I finished my book. If I could switch places with someone in my book I would switch places with it would be Mr. Cullen (the main character's dad). I would choose him because it would give me a look into this abusive and mean character.
JMagnus good job
PBennis2 good job
I'm currently reading John Grisham by Calico Joe, and I'm currently on page 65. If I had to take the place of a character in my book, I'm would be Joe because he's a very famous baseball player. He's also a great parent who cares about his family a lot. All the bad decisions Warren made in the past, Joe made right and didn't make the same bad decision. He's a very brave and confident.
cfuentes4:Good job!
jsmith4:Sounds like a good book!
the book i finished was Prisoner B-3087 by Alan Gratz. if my character could go to any place it would be back home. Since he was taking away from his home to 10 different concentration camps he would like to go back. he would like to see his parents before they were taking away and he would like to see his uncles, aunts, and cousins.

I am reading Hunger Games Catching Fire and I am on page 412. If I were to take the place of one of the characters in the book it would be Finnick Oadir. Finnick is a character who is meant to protect Katniss and the other characters. Finnick faces challenges along the way and assist in an amazing idea near the ending of the games. I am a thrill seeker and this is why I would take Finnick's place.
fwbouher Good post.
good blog @mmercado6
ddavis5 good blog post.
nice job @rcortes5
I am reading “Book of the dead the mummy” by Larry Mike Garmon and I am on page 112. If I had to take the place of a character it would be Bob. Bob is a smart guy and he plans strategies for when they hunt monsters. Also Bob works at a food truck and that would seem pretty cool to do. Bob can be a bit clumsy at times and gets in trouble every once in a while so I can kind of relate to that. So that is why I would chose to take Bob’s place in the book.
fwbougher: nice blog
PBennis2: nice job
i am currently reading the book Half upon a time by: Josh Riley if i had to take place of any character i would choose Jack. Jack has many great qualities he's smart,stubborn, and whiling to do anything. i am currently on page 124.
nice comment @fwbougher and @pbennis2
I am currently reaing Big Nate flips out, I am on pg.120. If I would take any character place in my book it would be francis. Why? Cause i would want to get nate out of trouble and help him get his grades up.
@fwbougher good job
@ddavis5 nice blog
I am reading "Matilda" by Roald Dahl and I am on page 90. If I had to take the place of one character in my book I would be the main character Matilda. Anyone can imagine to be a genius, also I do. Matilda has a special talent she is smart. I am not that smart so I really wan't to be smart like her anyone wan'ts to be smart. It will be amazing if I was her.
@asantos2 It is great!
@hwerther3 good job!
I am reading Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz and I am on page 60. If I had to choose a character to take place of in the book, it would be Alex. The reason why is because Alex is about the same age as me and it seemed like he had a very cool life before his uncles death. Ya his uncle just died but all the things he does sounds exciting. For example he is at the army training camp, besides the other picking on him I would love to be there.
Sounds cool fwbougher.
Nice ddavis
I am currently reading "A Tale Dark & Grimm" by Adam Gidwitz I am on page 116. If I could be any character in my book I would be Gretel. I believe she is a brave and strong character. She is managing to still get through life even though she lost her brother and ran away from home as a child. She is alone now but still smiling. I believe she is a very strong character and I would be a little scared to step into her shoes for a day, but she seems to have an amazing perspective on things. She will point out the good in every situation no matter how horrible it is. Gretel is a great character in my book she is very inspiring.
@cmcknight4 Great response!
@jsongayab4 Good perspective!
@cmcknight4 Great response!
@jsongayab4 Good perspective!
I am currently reading "Half Upon a Time" by James Riley, page 259. If I could pick any character to take the place of, it would be a princess named May. May is one of the main characters of the book, so I have read a lot about her. May is introduced to a great adventure, and on her journey is accompanied by great friends. May is quick and witty in every situation. Overall, May is a great character that has an incredible journey, and I would take the place of her in the book to witness it for myself. So May would be my number one choice.
@dwhite3
You leave great comments.Stay positive ;)
@Yyoon3
Perfection!
The book I am reading is “The Abduction- Theodore Boone” by John Grisham. I am on page 195 of 217. The character in the book I would like to be is April. I would be April because I would like to see what she went through when she was taken. What she felt when they found her. She seems like a cool character to be from Theo’s description.
fwbougher good job.
The title of my book is Nerds by Micheal Buckley and I am currently on page 152. If i could be any character in my book I would be Julio "flinch" Escala because his hyperactivity gives him super speed and strength. If i had super speed I would run everywhere I go and I would do everything thing fast. Also If I had super strength I would cheat in armwrestling matches and lift a lot of weights. Julio is a good character because even though he has super speed and strength he doesn't get to cocky or bossy. I advise youvto read this book because its interesting to read about nerds.
ddavis5 nice.
So the name of my book is Dead City by James Ponting, I actually finished the book, they're 277 pages in this book. So the character I would choose to take their place is the main character. My first reason is obviously because she is the main character. However, there is so much background and uniqueness to this character that it just draws you in. The other characters are great to like Natalie I kind of wanted to take her place because she is the leader in the group, as well as a straight A student, and as the book says she is beautiful. Now those are some good qualities all put in one, but I decided on Molly. Molly is pretty,smart,physical,and pleasant.Me taking her place would be an honor.
TBanks3
Wow.
DDavis 5
Great Job.
I'm currently reading QB 1 By MIKE LUPICA and I'm on page 92.The character I would recommend to be on my book is the QB because he's the main character. Also the main characters are used alot.Also the main character is really good on my book QB 1.On QB 1 my main character is used alot on the book and he has alot to learn.
Nice book!Frbourar
nice book! Reabram
I am currently read The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman. I am on page 144. If I had to take place with one character in my book I would choose to be Nobody Owen. He is the main character in my book. i would want to be him because he can see ghosts and also he can be invisible because of the ghosts. which I think is pretty cool.
good job on your blog ddavis5.
great job on your blog pbennis2 very descriptive.
The book i am currently reading is Forceout by Tim Green ,im on page 88.If I could change places with a character in the book it would be Joey.Joey is super competitive and that sometimes gets the best of him.He is a great athlete who has a passion for baseball.He's fighting against his best friend for a spot on the team.
The book I am reading is gone from these woods by seagrave. If I could take the place of any person in my book it would be anyone who is not the main character. The main character is currently going through some hard times and I don't want to go through it to.
nice comment fwbougher
good job ddavis5
I am reading the series of unfortunate events by Lemony Snicket and I am on page 135. if I were to be one person in my books I would be Claus. I chose him because first he is rich and he could what ever he wants whenever he wants it. he also lives in a big mansion that has a full sized library. another reason why I would like to be Claus is because he is very smart.
great job JATWOOD3 even I want to be that character!
iharris5 great job and great details
I am currently finished with Cinder by Marissa Meyer. If I had to choose one person I would choose Iko because she is really funny. She is also an assistant droid. She also was scrapped and her parts were sold but Linh Cinder the main character saved her personality chip.
the book that I am currently reading is called milkweed by Jerry Spinelli and i am on page 61.if i had to take place of a character in my book it would be the main character. the reason I would be the main character is because he is very risky and he is not really afraid of anything. another reason that choose to be this character is to see how life was in that time period, and experience that things that he did.
great example @xmatos5
I am on page 51 of the book Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard. If I had to take the place of one of the characters in my book it would probably be Aria. The reason I would choose Aria is because I like her personality, and the way she is with everything.She has a punky personality and she sounds like being her is fun. She just moved back from Iceland and I think being her and being able to have the experience of going there is AWESOME.
@rohlendorf2 sounds like a really good book!!
@iharris5 great job!
I'm reading Hoot by Carl Hiaasen and im on page 230. If I had to take the place of one person in the book, i would choose to be the main character Roy. I would chose to be Roy because he seems adventerous and curious. People that are those qualities usually are outgoing and I enjoy people that are like that. Roy is also not on the smart side he stude in the middle of a golf course twice and got hit in the head both times.
good blog @sbrown4
interesting @jatwood3
I’m reading the third eye by Lousie Duncan. I am finish with the book. If I had to take the place of a character in my book I would take the place of the main character’s best friend. The reason I would take that place because, he is very smart and give the main character great tips on what to do about the kidnapping. Also plenty of girls like him.
great job @dwrask3
great job @sbrown4
Im reading Slob by Ellen Potter and I have completed the book. If I had to take the place of someone I would take the place of Jeremy, Owens older sister. Jeremy and I are a lot alike concidering we both love sports and the outdoors, and we also like to skate. I would also fit in Jeremies place because she is very protective of her brother Owen. The same way I am protective of my younger sister.
@ddallas5 keep up the good work.
Nice blog @dwrask3
In the book I finished reading Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan I would like to have changed places with Percy Jackson. I say that because he has special powers that only the decedents of Poseidon have. He has the power to control water and do whatever he wants that has to do with water. Percy Jackson also has many really cool adventures that he goes on fairly often.
ggrayson6: Great post! Your book sounds cool.
ddallas5: It sounds like your book is fun to read.
I am reading, "The Son of Neptune by jack london. If I were to tke Percy's place i would like it because I would be able to control the flow of water. I would also go to the pool a lot more because I would be abkle to breathe underwater. I would also like it because I could make my own waves.
NICE JOB ABERDARD IVE READ THAT BOOK.
I am reading FableHaven by Brandon Mull and I am on page 33. If I had to take the place of one of the characters in my book it would be Kendra. Yes we are the opposite sex but I don't really care. She's a smart girl who knows right from wrong. She's also my age, and she's curious and loves mysteries like me.
@ddavid5 Cool
@JMagnus Good reasons!
I am currently reading Bad girls don't die by Katie Alender. I am on page 256. if I could take place of any charter it would be alexis, I would take her place because she doesn't care what others think about her. in school she gets in trouble a lot, but she is strong and doesn't let much get ton her.
nice ddavis5
fwbougher good blog
I am reading The lost hero by Rick Riordan and I am on page 438. If I was a character I would be Leo. He is not the main character but he is important to the story.The main character of the story is Jason, who's memory was taken and is the leader of the group. While being the leader would be cool, my memory would be taken and I would have a lot of responsibility. Leo is also the funny guy of the group/team because he likes to joke around. He is a son of the god of the forges and he is great at inventing and building.
@fwbougher good job on your blog, keep it up.
@ddavis5 good job on your blog, but try adding a little more sentences and detail.
I am reading "The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer" by Michelle Hodkin and I am on page 155. If I had to take the place of one character in my book I would take the place of Mara. Mara is such a sweet girl but she has been through a lot. Mara is always looking out for others before herself. I would love to be known as that nice of a person.
jglover2 I might have to read that. I read the first book but not the rest.
fwbougher That's a very interesting point.
I'm reading the gathering blue by Louis Lowery and I've finished the book. If I had to take the place of a character in my book it would be Kira (the main character). I would choose Kira because she's passionate for what she does. Kira has an amazing talent of threading and she shares it with everyone. Also Kira is proud of who she is. even thought she has a twisted leg that doesn't stop her from doing things.
skunklersulaica3 -Nice response
ggrayson6- Wonderful job at answering the blog
i am currently reading skinny by Donnna Cooner. If i had to take place of a character in one of my books i would be Ever.Ever is the main character in the story that get a made fun of because of her looks. i would want to be her so that i could stick up for her and tell her bullies what she thinks. i would also be her because she seems like a good person and someone who would be nice to be.
good job ddavis5.very detailed!
excellent job pbennis2! you make me want to read it!
@ddavis5 great job explaining why but the sentences are a little short.
I recently finished Hoot by Carl Hiaasen and if I could be any character I would be Roy Eberheart. Of all the characters he seems to have the easiest life. (Especially compared to Beatrice Leep and Mullet Fingers who both have sticky situations with Mrs. Lonna Leep.) Roy has a nice family, he lives in a nice home, and he goes to a nice school. Basically, his life is pretty normal. Another reason I would want to be Roy is because of his dad's job. Roy's dad gets lots of promotions so they get to move a lot. I love to travel and see the different lifestyles and customs of people living in different places. There's also many to do sight seeing!
@arizzo5 Great blog! I think that's a really unique reason to be that character. :)
@amoskalenko6 Good blog! It's cool to see someone choosing someone else in their book besides the main character.
I just finished reading Taken by Edward Bloor. If I could be one character in the book,I would be Victoria, Charity's maid. I would be Victoria because unlike others in Charity's family, Victoria is powerful and makes a statement against the kidnappers (Charity's dad and other butler) who are usually very powerful figures in her life as is. Victoria breaks what the kidnappers called "Plan B" and told them what she wanted, even surprising them with her powerful manner and demanding way of approaching them. When approaching the kidnappers Victoria doesn't hesitate to speak to the kidnappers calling them trash and commanding to see Charity and make sure that she was safe. To me Victoria's commitment and commanding powerful approach makes her a hero in the story, her powerful way allowed for the situation to change for Charity letting her figure out new things about her "kidnappers".
@fwbougher as terrifying as that is, I get where you come from. It'd definitely be interesting to know what happens in a mind like that
@snturner3 I remember reading Hoot a while back and I agree! It'd be cool to be Roy mostly because of his dad's job.
I am reading The Last Princess by Galaxy Craze and I am on page 276. If I could trade places with one character in my book, I would pick Polly because she is a very thoughtful person who is not wanted. She is the best friend of a princess. I mean, who wouldn’t want that? Polly is not technically part of the royal family, so that means that Cornelius Hollister is not trying to kill her. But, her and her family are very close to them. She gets most of the benefits of being a part of that family, without the getting killed part.
JPerkins5: Great blog.
lpozos5: Good job.
I just finished my book ,Touching Spirit Bear by Ben Michaelsen. If I could take place of any character it would be Cole . Cole is the main character he faces a lot of challenges. He also changes through out the book he is very inspiring. I would love to do what he did.
@oyakle4 nice job that sounds like a cool book
I am finished with my book, Football Hero, by Tim Green. If I could be anyone in my book it would Thane Lewis. He has a ton of money and has a huge house. He is very loving and caring and has a pretty good family. Also he plays football for the Jets which is a pretty good team. He also has a very good agent that actually cares about what Thane does with his money.
asizer3 Good job:)
ddavis5 Sounds like Penelope is a cool person
I read “Game Changers” by Mike Lupica, and I have finished the book. If I could take place of anyone in the book, I would take Ben’s place. I would take his place because he did not have a lot of confidence in the beginning of the book. He was confident that Chase Braggs was better at basketball than him. If I would take his place, then I would be more confident when I play against him.
@Tjohnson4, good job.
@kbutler3, That sounds like a good book.
I read Murdered, my sweet by Joan Lowery Nixon. If I could take place of anyone in the book I would Be Detective Donovan. He is the actual detective in the book trying to figure out the murder. I would take his place because i'd just want to be a detective. Also it would be pretty fun to be solving the case of a millionares murder.
GPettit2 sweet, looks like a good book.
JPerkins, Sounds like Victoria's a pretty scary person, good job.
The book that I'm reading is called Drama High: Holidaze. The author is L. Divine, and I am done with this book. If I was to take place of a character in this story it would probaly be Jayd. I chose her because she is a strong, independent, and confident young lady. She has lots of drama but she passes it by like nothing. She is a true and real person, and she can do anything if she put her mind to it.
@tjohnson4 Good Job Keep Up The Good Work.
@jperkins5 Oh My God !! I Loved Yours !!!
I'm reading "Cover up" by John Feistein. In my book there aren't really characters that I would take a part upon. One because they're reporters and I don't really like reporting and two, because they have to handle every big things at a young age and I'm not that confident. But they do get to watch the super bowl and final four. Jperkins good job! Gpetit2 sounds nice..
I'm currently reading Life of Pi by Yann Martel I'm on page 32. If I could be any character in the story I would be Richard Parker the tiger. I would be Richard Parker because he has the upper hand because he's a tiger. If I was the tiger I would not have to be afraid because I am the bigger animal I would be dominate. That's why I would be Richard Parker.
@eyoung2
good job on your blog.
@Jhearn3
Great job on your blog.
I am currently reading "the Grimm conclusion by Adam gidwitz and I'm on page 270 and if I had to chose a character from my book to be I would jorinda one of the twins. Because she is a strong caring person Sometimes and she goes off into the world and meet a prince but she's sad for leaving her family but she wants to be happy instead of being miserable and lonely.but she do visit her family still which is Good.
eyoung2
good job
dwrask3
Great post
I am currently reading Evermore by Alyson Noel and I am on page 90. I would take the place of Ever because she is able to hear people's thoughts and she can see others auras. The aura is a glow that surrounds a living person and changes color in response to health and mood. I have always wanted to read other people's mind, and since she has that ability, I would want to be her. I would also love to see the auras of others because I could then help people out.
JMagnus
I love Disney World too, and your book seems fun to read
jkim4
Your book seems really interesting. You had amazing details and did a really good job. Thumbs Up!
The title of my book is the screaming staircase.the author is jonathan stroud. I am currently on page 125. If i was to take the place of a character i would take lockwoods place.he is the main, main character in the story saving london from the tragedy they faced from the ghosts.he is the alpha of london.
nice book @tdavis3
nice work @zgraham24
i am reading Hide and seek by Katy Grant and im on page 83. the character that i would replace as myself in my book is Chase. Chase is the character who likes to save the day by helping these two poor kids.So he is the hero in all this. I would like to be chase because i want to feel like a hero and feel good about it.
aachristian4, nice job at answering your blog.
tdavis3, wonderful job at answering your blog. i really like that book.
I am currently reading Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood by Oliver Bowden on page 52. I would take place Ezio Auditore because he is the main character. He is an assassin that goes after Templars. So people would have a chance of being free.
mmercado6 good job.
ddavis5 good job.
The book I am reading is called “behind the bedroom wall” by Laura E Williams. I’m currently finished with my book. If I could take someone’s place in my book it would be Korrina. Korrina is faced on love or death. Korrina is in a group that hates Jews she describes them “unhuman”. Korrina finds out that her “loyal parents” are hiding Jews behind her bedroom wall. Once her family started being watched she does not want her parents shot so she has to leave. Korrina and her mama will be behind someone’s bed room wall.
ddavis5 good job on your blog. keep up on the amazing work.!
tdavis3 keep up on your good work. what an amazing blog !
I'm a reading reading Spirit Animal, Wild Born by Brandon Mull and I'm on page 75. The character i would take place of would be Conor, a sheep hurdler and one of the greats spirit animal,a wolf. The wolf comes out of his body and read each others mind. That is its self is amazing have a mind reading wolf that comes out of your body by your side in battle. Ya, you fight other people with this wolf how couldn't it get more amazing. Turns out that he is a legend spirit animal, which means he is one out of four of the strongest and the most powerful spirit animal that reincarnated again and again.
@tdavis3 sounds like a cool character
@jhearn3 that book is amazing
I'm currently finished with my book Picture the Dead by Adele Griffin and Lisa Brown. If I had to take the place of one character in the book I would take the place of Jennie. I would take the place of her in the book because she have to put together some clues that her late fiancé and twin brother been giving her to lead her to what her late fiancé is trying to tell her. She goes through a lot of tough obstacles in the process but perseveres though it. She is a strong/brave, intelligent, and plain girl also. I love finding out mysteries and clues just like what she's doing so that's why I would take the place of Jennie in my story.
@jsanford true, and good reasons
@zgraham24 good job at answering your blog
I'm reading Rangers Apprentice by John Flanagan and I've finished the book. If I had to take the place of a character I would take the place of Alyss. I would take her place because she is vital in some of the books and a good diplomat. Besides I think Alyssa and I are kinda similar. Not only that but I'm wondering what it would be like in her place.
