The book I am reading is called Divergent by Veronica Roth and I am currently on page 17, and how ironic that the title of my book appears in the story and is my most important word. "They call it.. divergent meaning you don't belong and they will kill you" pg.10. The reason I would say that this is most important word in my book so far is because this is what my book is about. A girl who lives in a city with people are devoted to, one type of religion, ,one type of thinking and one type of life. The reason why I chose this word is because I think that this word describes by book best. A girl who is divergent in a not-so diverse world

I am reading Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix, it is by J.K. Rowling and I am on page 5. The word that I chose is Voldemort. I chose this word because he is the most important person in this book, in fact, he is the most important person in this entire series. Lord Voldemort was a kid who went to Hogworts. He is also the person who killed Harry’s parents in the previous books. I found this word on page 4. Another reason he is important is because when everybody thinks of Harry Potter, they think if his lightning scar, and Voldemort is the one who gave him that scar. Lord Voldemort is one of the modt important characters in the entire franchise of Harry Potter.

My book is Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks. I'm on page 25. In the book, she meets a guy named Alex.I think the word to describe right now in the book is curious. Katie becomes curious to know more about Alex when she meets him which makes her character really cool and interesting. Also, it is an important word because they begin to fall in love and their curiousness slowly falls away as they get to know eachother each day.Katie is a very curious person but kind of shy, so it fits her in the story perfectly.

My book is House Rules by Jodi Picoult. I’m currently on page 58 of my book. I think the most important word in my book is Asperger’s because it is pretty much what my book is about. “ Jacob Hunt is a teen with Asperger’s syndrome. He is hopeless at reading social clues and interacting with others, though he is brilliant in many ways.” This word is important because in this book it is pretty much about that. It is a story of a boy living with a disease that can change your personality.
Im reading Leend by Marie Lu and i on page 22. "When June returns to the campous she will be on her best behavior." my word is June because She is one of the main people in my book. There are two. She is always getting into trouble at school. Currently she lives with her brother because her mom and dad died in a car accedent

I am currently reading Wildwood by Colin Meloy and I am on page 50. I would say that the most important word, I think, is “impassable wilderness”. The word is on page 15 and in the sentence “it was named the impassable wilderness and everybody knew to steer clear”. This word is many parts of what I have read so far, and the impassable wilderness is where Prue’s baby brother is taken to. I chose this word because it is a very important part of the books plot and is in many of the events in the book.
The book I am reading is Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell and I am on page 158. The word I would use to describe the book is misunderstood. Eleanor gets bullied a lot and no one knows that the ways she acts is because of her abusive stepfather. She doesn’t tell anyone because then they would bully her even more. Another instance where misunderstood would be a good word is when park tries to help Eleanor. He wants her to come over to meet his parents but she won't. Park thinks she is scared and stubborn but if her step dad caught her leaving the house he would abuse her and the other children.

I am reading Divergent by Veronica Roth, and i am currently on page 57. The most important word in my book would probally be factionless. As used in a sentence on page 51 "A short Erudite boy was trying trying to catch up to the train. When a Erudite girl was putting her arm out for him, but it was to late the train was to fast. He just failed the Dauntless initiation . He was factionless now, no one to go to no where to go to. outcasted." I chose the word factionless becausr that is something you do not want to become,and it plays a big part in the book. I also chose the sentence because it shows how one becomes factionless, by failing an iniation is one way. Thats why I chose the word factionless.

I just finished reading The Fault in Our Stars by John Greene earlier today. The most important word of part of the book would be "wish". That is because in the book both Hazel and Gus are sick with a type of cancer. There's a charity that gives the people one Wish to do anything they want and they will pay for it and plan it all out. Hazel already used her Wish years ago, but Gus hasn't. Hazel is dying to travel to Amsterdam to meet her favorite author and Gus uses his one Wish to go with her there and do so.

The book i am reading is called The Princess trap. I am on page 5. The most important word in this book is "trap". The princess feels trapped because its a lot of drama in the castle. Her uncle is anxious for the crown. She doesn't know who to trust any more
I am reading A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, and I am on page 103. I think that the most important word in my reading is recalled. The sentence that it appears in is "Recalled to life." At that point in the book, a messenger has just told someone that his friend has been "Recalled to life." It is important because the person who had been "Recalled to Life" becomes a major character, and a lot of the book so far has been about what has happened to him.
I am reading the book named Princess of the Silver Woods by Jessica George and I am on page 17. I think the most important word in this book right now is princess. "She did not want the Wolves of the Westfalian Woods to know she was a princess"(pg.7). I chose this word because the princess Petunia was hiding her identity to the wolves that attacked her. Also, when they recognize she is the princess, they might want golds and jewels, and they would not let her go until they had searched every inch of the coach.

I’m reading The Paladin Prophecy by Mark Frost and I am on page 193. I think the most important word is “never was” because it tells us where the monsters are coming from. The sentence is “Yea, and that thing you call a worm hole is a portal to a place called the “never was”. I think this is an important word because it gives us the main conflict.

I am reading QB1 by Mike Lupica and i am on page 10. The most important word so far in the book is "hero" on page 2. The sentence is "in his senior year, in his last high school game he was ever going to play, his last chance to be a total high school hero". I think this word is the most important because he has bee the hero in the book so far while winning he championship. Also, his dad was his hero and he tries to be a lot like his dad.

The book I am reading is called The Lost Crown by Sarah Miller and I am currently on page 24. The word that I chose is dyadka which means the title given to the sailor nannies entrusted with protecting Aleksei from everyday injury (probably derived from dyadya, the Russian word for "uncle"." Nagorny , Aleksei's dyadka, nods, then shuts the door silently behind us" page 5.The reason I would say that this is the most important word in my book so far is because the nannies are important during this time period. As World War I ignites across Europe ,political unrest sweeps Russia. First dissent, then disorder, mutiny -and revolution. For Olga, Tatiana, Maria, and Anastasia ,the end of their girlhood together is colliding with the end of more than they ever imagined. The reason I chose this word is because I think that this word best describes my book best so far.

The book I am currently reading is Beautiful Creatures by Kami. I a, on page 376. The most important word I would use for this book is Caster. `Im a Caster that's what Lena tells Ethan. A Caster is a very important word in the story because Casters have powers and Lenas family has a whole history of Casters along with a curse.

I am currently reading Allegiant by Veronica Roth and I am on page 181. I think the most important word I have read in this book so far would be brave on page 89. “It’s stupid to miss a thing when there are so many people to miss instead, but I miss this train already, and all the others that carried me through the city, my city, after I was brave enough to ride them.” I chose this word because Tris has to take a leap of faith to leave the city she has known all her life and discover the truth about everything which takes a lot of courage and bravery. She is hesitant and scared of the truth and what it involves about her divergence and parents but she uses her dauntless instincts and jumps off the trains that took her outside the fence of everything she thought she knew.

In my book, Divergent (by Veronica Roth [page 141 of 487]), I think the most important word would be either “choice” or “decision”.
“And tomorrow, at the Choosing Ceremony, I will decide on a faction; I will decide the rest of my life; I will decide to stay with my family or abandon them.” (page 2)
I picked this word because in the beginning, Beatrice (Tris) had to choose the faction she would spend the rest of her life in, and there was an aptitude test that was supposed to help you choose. Tris’ results were inconclusive, which meant that the test didn’t work on her, that she was Divergent, that she was dangerous. This makes Tris’ choice in the upcoming Choosing Ceremony that much more important. I chose this sentence because I thought that it was very expressive of the weight riding on this important upcoming choice of hers.

I am reading The Restaurant at the End of the Universe by Douglas Adams. I am currently on page 25.
The word that stands out to me most is “Vogon”. Vogon first appears on page 3. Vogons are the main species of extraterrestrial that have been trying to kill Arthur and his friends throughout the last book. Currently the Vogons are attacking The Gang’s ship in an attempt to blow it up and take the “heart of gold”. This is the most major plot point that has occurred in the book and that is what makes it the most important word in the book.

The most important word in the book I read this week is wonder the sentence from the book is Benjamin wondered if he’d guessed what was going to happen to him (PG.2). I think this is the most important word because Charlie and his friends are always wondering what will happen next after they do something bad. The book I am reading is Charlie bone and the invisible boy, I am on page 24. The author is Jenny Nimmo.

The book I just finished reading is Serendipity and Me, by Judith L. Roth. I think the most important word in this book is Serendipity. Serendipity means a pleasant surprise. The word is on page 50 when Sara's dad found a white kitten who darts in their house when her dad opens the door, and her dad says, " Serendipity, Sara. Someone's brought you a blessing for a visit." Then Sara names the cat Serendipity, but her dad won't let her keep the cat even though she has been asking for a cat all her life. So Sara started to investigate why her dad won't let her have a cat. And she found out it had to do with the past when her mom died. Serendipity is an important word in this book because Serendipity brings their once broken family together and made their life as normal as it can be.

I am reading The Fault In Our Stars by John Green, and I am on page 136. The word that I chose is brilliant because Augustus Waters is giving up his one and only wish from the Make a Wish foundation for Hazel. He knows how much Hazel wants to go Amsterdam to meet her favorite author Peter Van Houten, but she already used her wish. So he said that he will go with her to Amsterdam and meet Peter as well. So that is the one word that I would describe my book as.

I’m reading Fire Starter by Stephen King. I’m currently on page 23. The most important word based on what I read is Fire, “You’re a fire starter.” This word is important because basically this girl named Charlie has a weird power that starts fires. This book is pretty much about her living with this power and trying to make sure it doesn’t go out of hand.

I am currently reading the book, “Bioshock Rapture” written by John Shirley and I am on page 30. The most important word so far in the book is contractor. “Just a mechanic and, lately, a freelance plumbing contractor”. This word is important because Andrew Ryan is looking for good contractors who will actually care about their work and not money. Eventually, Andrew finds Bill McDonagh, a contractor, and Ryan hires him to help build the city of Rapture.
I am reading Selection by Kiera Cass, I'm on page 91. If I had to pick one important word I would pick the word "Selection". Because the book is about a selection of girls picked for the prince to date.It is about a young girl's journey through the Selection. I pick this word because it is mostly what the book talks about.

I'm currently reading Peter and the Shadow Thieves by Ridley Pearson. I am currently on page 50. Out of what I've read this week, I would have to say that the most important word would have to be "fairy" found on page 6. The sentence "Tinker Bell disliked being called "fairy". It's so ironic that one of the main characters, Tinker Bell, does not want to be known as a fairy. Even though she is a fairy indeed, doesn't like it. It's important to know why she doesn't want to be known as a fairy and I think that later on, as the book progresses, will reveal why she doesn't like being called a "fairy". Being a fairy should be an important thing in Tinker Bell's life, but apparently not enough. Thus, that is why I think "fairy" is the most important word.

The book I am currently reading is called shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. I am on page 81. How ironic is it that the title of my book is the most important word. "They call it... shiver which means that the main character Grace has the shivers every time she thinks about never seeing Sam again " pg. 11. The main reason I would say this is my most important word in my book is because Grace is trying to keep Sam and Sam is trying to stay human. Even though I am still kind of in the beginning middle part of the book it still talks a lot about their unconditional love for each other and how they will do anything to be together.

I am reading Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen and I am on page 19. The most important word in the book I am reading would probably be barged from page 1. The book says “She barged and shoved and wedged her way in to my life. I chose that word because Bryce hates Juli and if she hadn’t barged her way into his life, maybe he would have had an easier time getting to know Juli. First impressions are a big deal and when Bryce didn’t get a good first impression he had negative thoughts about her for a long time.

The book I am reading is called "Wild Cards" by: Simone Elkeles and I am currently on page 50. i found 2 words that stand out to me the most. I had just come across them on page 41 and 50. The first sentence was from Ashtyn's perspective on page 41. "I turn to face him and wish he had some blemish or imperfection, but i can't find one." The 1st word is wish. Throughout the book, Ashtyn has many wishes and many hopes. In this sentence, she wishes Derek wasn't as handsome as he was because she has a boyfriend and Derek aggravates her. Unfortunately, she's wrong and her wish doesn't come true. The 2nd sentence is from Derek's perspective on page 50. "I can't shake her from my mind. " The 2nd word is can't. Derek believes in can't and won't. Although he's successful in somethings, he's a bad boy that comes across can't a lot. In this sentence, he can't seem to stop thinking about Ashtyn.

I am currently reading “The Fault in our Stars” by John Green, and I am on page 10. The most important word that I have read so far would be chance. “ Like, I realize that this is irrational, but when they tell you that you have, say, a 20 percent chance of living five years…” page 5. That to me is the most important word that I have read so far because the first thing that pops into my head is that you only have one chance to live so make it count. In her case she only has a certain amount of time to do that so she really has to make it count. Chance is a word that could mean a lot of things but that meaning is what it means the most to me. I also picked that sentence because in that meaning it means that there is a certain possibility of living or not.

I am currently reading Football Champ by Tim Green and I am on page 27. Based on the reading I have done this week, I would say the word "soft" is the most important word. "Troy said in a soft voice, "But we're not cheating!" (pg. 19) I think soft is a great word to represent what I have read this week because it represents Troy's personality. He is not the type of kid to speak up in a large crowd. When he expresses his feelings, it's usually when he is with his mom and only with his mom. Troy also had some trouble controlling his emotions when his mom informed him that he could no longer help the team.

I am currently reading, "IceFire", by Chris D'Lacey, and am on page 17. One word that is really important is, "Dragon". "Dragon" is important, because the story revolves around an obsession the main character's family has for dragons. It may seem self-explanitory, but I have only read 17 pages of the book. If they didn't have the names for the creatures, there would be confusion on how the statues and "monsters" would have looked like.

The book I am now reading is “Rapunzel” by Wendy Mass,and on page 8. The word I would pick for the pages I have read so far would be “LOCKED”.I would pick locked because in my book Rapunzel is locked in a tower and can’t explore the world. I know this because in the book (page 1) it says “I am locked in a tower in the middle of the forest”. So far this is a good book, I can’t wait to read more.

I am currently reading Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card, I am on page 100. If I had to choose one word to describe Ender it would be emotional. I would choose the word emotional because Ender shows emotion for everything he sees or does. For example when ender is about to get into a fight with a bully he wins because he fully understands them and Ender says once he understand his enemy he loves them. I would also choose the word emotional because Ender always fells some sort of emotion whether it is anger, fear, joy or love he is always feeling some sort of emotion.

I am currently reading Champion, by Marie Lu, and I am on page 125 out of 369. I believe that the most important word in my book isn’t just a word, but a name also. Day’s younger brother, Eden, caught a plague which nearly cost him his life. Eden recovered, but lost his eyesight, leaving him completely blind. Eden was the only known survivor of the plague. When a new disease outbreaks in the Colonies, Anden, the Elector, believes that it is a mutation of the disease that Eden had. The Republic of America wants to take Eden, who is only 10, into custody and run numerous tests on him to try to find a cure. If they come up with a cure, it could prevent a war from beginning, so getting Eden and Day to comply is imperative. Both sides, Republic and Colonies want Eden. They will do anything to get their hands on him, even if he gets hurt in the process.

I am reading Insomnia By Stephen King. I am on page 35 of 667. I chose the word imagination. My book is about a man named Ralph whose wife dies of cancer. When this happens Ralph spirals down into depression and cannot get a blink o sleep. When Ralph finally decides to get out of bed and go back to work, he sees horrible things happening to the people of Maine ( of course they are not actually happening). The word imagination is important because every thing that Ralph sees is his mind playing tricks on him.

The reason I believe that this is the most important word so far is because it is one of the only interesting/mystical thing that has happened in the book thus far. The stone is also the main focus of the book, and everything that has happened after it was about the stone.

Philip often senses the angles when they are near him. “There are No real angels, Philip! Don’t you understand? If there were, they would have saved Tristan!” page 270. The reason why I choose faith because its something that ivy needs to connect with Tristan it is the only way he can reach her and warn her. I choose this sentence because it shows that she has lost all of her faith.

I am reading “The House of Hades” by Rick Riordan, and I am currently on page 160. I think the most important word(s) in my book are the "Doors of Death." “They had to hope Percy and Annabeth could survive long enough to find the Tartarus side of the Doors of Death. Then, assuming the Argo II could reach the House of Hades, they might be able to open the Doors on the mortal side, save their friends, and seal the entrance, stopping Gaea’s forces from being reincarnated in the mortal world over and over.” This line shows what the story is revolved around: Gaea (the evil Earth Mother… yes, I said EVIL) is starting to wake from her supposedly “eternal” sleep and has seized control of the Doors of Death. It is up to seven demigods (Leo, Jason, Piper, Frank, Hazel, Annabeth, and Percy) to defeat the Goddess of the Earth and bring peace between the Greeks and Romans.

The book i am reading is called Plunked by Michael Northrop. I am on page 72. The most important word i think is plunked because the book is basically revolved around that word. I didn't come across that word yet because it didn't happen yet. But yea that's the word.

A word that gets me in the book is honor because Daniel is very honored to have the powers and to use them for good against the evil alien forces instead of using them for bad. I am reading in a Heartbeat by Loretta Ellsworth and I'm on page 151. To me, the most important word is memory."That takes me back to another memory..." Page 73. I think that so far memory is the most iportant word because Eagan (the dead heart doner) has a lot of flash backs. She is not in Heaven or Hell, but she is dead. She has a lot of memories running through her head.

cjones4...The book i am currently reading is Evercrossed by Elizabeth Chandler. I am on page 20 and the one word I would use to describe my book is mysterious because, in the book ivy's boyfriend got killed and no one knows how, and who did it.
The book I am reading is called Buddy by M.H.Herlong and I am currently on page 24. The word that is most important in my book would be Buddy. The reason why I would say buddy, is because he is the dog that makes the whole book. "I plan on naming him Buddy," I say, "because that's what he'll be, my buddy." Those were the words that the owner, twelve-year-old Tyrone "Lil T" Roberts named him that day! The boy's love for Buddy is not replaceable!

I am reading the Lost Conspiracy by Frances Hardinge. And I am on page 25. The word I would choose would be conspiracy. I chose this word because their whole society has something to do with the conspiracy of the island. I found this on page 12 of my book.

I am currently reading The Emperor Of Nihon-Ja, I am currently on page 179. The word that means the most to me from what I read is confusing. It said in this book "The cry of despair was torn from Shigeru as Arisaka launched a sudden, confusing attack. This was on page 168 in the book The Emperor Of Nihon-Ja. I chose this word because from what I read so far most of the emperor's are so confused, they do not know the attack is coming to them.

I am currently reading the book Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks, but I am only on page 9. The 'most important word' would have to be efficient on page 2, in the sentence 'She wasn't good at small talk, but she was efficient and polite and none of the customers seemed to mind. I chose that word because Eileen is a very efficient person and she gets the job done, but I chose that sentence because it described her perfectly.

The book I am reading is called The Raft by S.A. Bodeen and I am currently on page 33. The important word I chose is Robie because is the main character. Robie when to visit her auntie but her aunt had to got to LA. Robie stay alone at her aunt house and when Robie when to go buy food but something interesting happen to her. She was experiencing scary stuff.

I am reading Scoripia by Anthony Horowitz and i am on page 146. in my book i would say the most important word is M16, the word is not a gun but a person. i found this word on many pages but i am using pg 120 for now. the scentence is (M16 and your father would be on the other bank. The two of them would walk across the bridge and the exchange would be as siple as that.) I chose this sentence because it shows that M16 has something important with the main charcters father and he seems good.
