I'm reading Coffeehouse Angel by Suzanne Selfors and i'm on page 36. So there's this chick and she works at her grandma's coffeehouse and when she sees this guy sleeping in an alley she gives him some food. He then comes to her school and demands that she wishes for something as a payment for her good deed. But she's all like 'no its okay' then he follows her everywhere and asks her. I would have just 'wished' for something so he would have left me alone, plus i would have gotten my wish.
I'm reading Eragon by Christopher Paolili.I just started, but apparently elves have ambushed this group in order to collect a stone. The stone must be important since the ambushers got killed. Except for the leader who regret not getting the stone since a witch have cast it away. So now a person named Eragon have found it in the wood when it almost killed him.
I am reading Eight Grade Bites by Heather Brewer. I am on page 5. An event that happened was a vammpire was chasing after Vladimir Tod's debate team coach and asked him where he was. Before the teacher had a chance to answer the vampire bit into his neck and killed him. How I would have handled this situation is if I was the teacher I would have asked him why he wanted to know and then if he didn't tell me and he started chasing me I would call the police.
@mlennon6 sounds like a good book!
@pblangor5 That's a weird book sounds like!
The book I'm currently reading is made in the USA. I am on page 43 and what happened was Flow died in Wal-Mart.Lutie took the car and left. with her brother fate. I would have just found a foster home because my little brother is too young.
My book is called Divergent, and I am on page 3. It is written by Veronica Roth. As I have already said, I am on page three and no good events have actually happened.
@dreynolds6 I like that book
@mlennon6 Nice first comment
The book I'm currently reading is called 13 Hangman and it's by Art Corriveau. I'm on page 172 and a reacent event that just happend is his dad been taking to jail for investigation on killing his uncle.
I'm reading the Clique by Lisi Harrison. I'm on page 29. One of the problem Clair is facing is moving to a new state and having to go to a new school. I would've just be myself and try to meet new people. Unlike what Clair did.
I am currently reading Fire-Fire zone by Chris lynch. I am on page 9 . One of the recent events was he was doing pushups and he fell and hit his face and got knocked out. If it was me I would have tried not to hit my face. So that I wouldn’t hurt my face.
I'm reading the Backyard Dragon by Betsy and Samuel Sterman. I am on page 7 and the most recent activity was when Owen saw a dragon and ran. If I was in that situation i would of touched it. Also i would of went to tell someone. It would be cool to see a dragon.
The book i am reading is Football Hero by Tim Green. I am on page 160. A recent event in my book was the FBI realized that there was a scam in football going on.They know somethings up and are trying to figure it out. Ty is involved in the scam and doesn't want to be.
nhamilton2 said good job
Lmiller2 good job
I am reading Flush by Carl Hiaasen and I am on page 15. A recent event in the book is when Noah's father gets put in jail because he sunk someone else's boat. The reason his father sunk the boat is because the owner was cheap and instead of getting the boats waste hauled away he just dumps it in the harbor. If I were in Noah's place I would have stayed calm. I agree that dumping the boats waste in the water is wrong, and illegal. The owner had plenty of money and could have easily efforded to get the waste removed.
mlennon6
Good job, sounds interesting.
My book is Eight Grade Bites I’m on page 60. The protagonist of my book is Vald. I know that because it’s talking about his life and what thoughts those go through his mind. The antagonists are Tom and bill. They are at the point in the book the only antagonists. l they torment and bully Vlad. The one that I am more close to is Vald because I feel like I can relate more to him and I would be him if I could be any character.
@nhamilton2
i read that book awhile ago, its not what i thought it would be.
@Lmiller2
Thats funny sound like something my bro would do. :)
my book is Ungifted by Gordan Korman. I am on page 5 and a recent event in this book is that he is getting in trouble right now by jumping around the house. What I would do if I was in this situation is, tell her i had a lot of candy and im getting my energy out really quick :).
lmiller2 that was funny to me lol
swilliams2 thats a cool book
gmontgomery2 good job
sfreer2 god job
pblangor5 good job
dsmith5 sounds like a good book.
I am currently reading New Moon by Stephenie Myer. I am on page 7. The event that is happening now is Bella is turning eighteen and shes saying that she would be older than Edward like she has a problem with it. I would have handled it differently by not caring because Edward is much older than her anyway.I don't think one age difference matters since Edward turned at seventeen.
I am reading the book Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, The pg. I am on is 57. I am on the sense when Bella is next to her car and the road is full of ice and slippery. Then Edward comes and stops the car, but I would of done it different by Instead of Stopping the car. I would of carried Bella out of there and made the cars crash into each other. That is what I would of changed in the story.
nhamilton2
Good job!
asantacroce2
Good job!
I'm reading the Clique by Lisi Harrison. I'm on page 29. One of the problem Clair is facing is moving to a new state and having to go to a new school. I would've just be myself and try to meet new people. Unlike what Clair did, which was trying to be like Massie, the complete oppisite of who she is.
@rgatlin2
Nice job
@mlennon6
good job gurlll (:
The book I am currently reading is called “Twilight” by: Stephanie Meyer and I am on page 7. Bella does not want to go to California for vacation with her family. To handle this differently I would ask my parents if I could stay with a friend while the rest of my family was gone. If that did not work I would ask if I could stay with a responsible family member. However you could explain to your parents why you do not want to go on vacation and maybe that would work.
jphan2
lol, nice book
swilliams2
Omg we are reading the same book, thats so cool!
I am reading Hoot By Carl Hiaasen and I am on page 78. A recent event is when the main character, Roy, saw a running boy. He was curious about him, so he followed him, but he was hit in the head with a golf ball. The second time he searched for him, he found a bag full of snakes and was almost bitten. The third and most recent attempt was when he returned to the place he found the snakes. The boy was nowhere to be found, and to make things worse it began storming. When he gets to a fountain where he put his bike, it is gone. He walks to the highway outside the golf course and finds a girl named Beatrice has his bike. She tells him to get on the handlebars, which he does. This is where I would have reacted differently. She is a bully, and Roy is afraid she would beat him up if he didn't listen, but he had been gone for a while already and his parents were worried. I would have tried to get home as fast as I could without my bike, because I wouldn't want to get involved with what she wants him to.
mlennon6
Nice post
I am currently reading 90 Miles to Havana by Enrique Flores-galbis.I am currently on page 135.In the story Caballo sends Alqulino and Gordo go to Miami for the day and Julian is left alone because his brothers are in Miami for the day.I would handled the situation by telling Caballo to sned with my brothers so I can be with them.I would hate to be without my sister for a whole day.
gmontgomery2
Nice post Lil G!
sfreer2
I hope you like the book Lil S.
asantacrose2
good book
jphan2
I wamt to read that book next!
pblangor5
That's a good book.
I am currently reading “Catch a Tiger by the Toe.” By Ellen Levine, also I am currently on page 36. Well my main character Jamie has a secret that can change the whole world. I’m not going to say it because you just have to read the book. But throughout her life she has to lie about everything to get through everyday life. And she decides that she needs other people to depend on for them not to tell and promise her secrets. But her friend doesn’t understand why Jamie has to lie throughout her life in order to keep the cops off her back. The way I would have gone with it is that I would have found a good friend and would have told her everything and just never told lies. Because once you start lying you have to put multiple other lies on top of that one.
@mlennon6: good job for getting first comment. And cool book. (:
@dreynolds6: you need more sentences. Heads up. (:
The book I'm currently reading is called 13 Hangman and it's by Art Corriveau. I'm on page 172 and a reacent event that just happend is his dad been taking to jail for investigation on killing his uncle and julia the mom and tony the main character had to keep lying the whole day to the twins about what happend to their dad. what i would have changed different about that is i would have told the twins about why their dad wasn't home.They might of helped out maybe with some information about how their dad is innocent.The other part of the event that happend was the man who called the police on their dad i would have not accepted his lets be friends and start over visit just because of what he had put the family throught while their dad was in jail. This book is really good and i'm almost finished with the book i recommand this book for people who enjoy mysteries.
@arockett2 good job on blog.
arockett2
Good blog, the book sounds good.
I am currently reading Unwind by Neal Shusterman and I am on page 20. One event that happened in the book is Connor, the main character, tried to run away from home. He ran away because his parents signed an order that would have him “unwound” which would kill him. During the event though, he rescues another kid who is going to have the same thing done to him. I would have also run away, but I wouldn’t have tried to save the other kid also because they could slow you down.
Jclark2- Good job with the blog.
Nhutto2- You also did a good job.
The book I am currently reading is my life in pink and green by lisa greenwald. I am on page 5. Recently in my book the main character is deciding whether to continue to work at the pharmacy. Her current job there is to open mail. Now quite frankly I would never take that job I would be smart and go find a job somewhere else because. Or if I’m in the situation she’s in were I stupidly took that fob I would quit immediately.
zotto5... good blog!
jclark2...very descripitive!!!!!!
The book i am currently reading is Skeleton Creek and i am on page 10. A recent event that has happen was thathe has a writing problem and he cant stop writing. Some people say it was a gift. How i would handle this situation is by writing alone so no one knows i acutally write a lot. This is how I would of solve this event.
gparent5...
That book sounds very cool !
jclark2....
Nice book !
My book is the lighting thief.The author is Rick Riordan. I am on page 100. One recent event that has happend is that Percy Jackson has found out hat his dad is poseidon. I would have been very confused and probaly would have reacted by being exited.
mvang05 : good job.
Nhutto2: cool book.
I am reading, New Moon by Stephenie Meyer. I am on page 10.
Recently in my book Bella got to school on her birthday and was telling evryone to not say "Happy Birthday" or give her presents. If I was in her situation I would pretend that i was happy about my birthday and taken the presents with a smile.
@ human5
That book series was good
@zotto5
I read that book at the beginnig of the year its really good!
DSmith5..
I read the entire series of that book and it's amazing! It got suspense, action, mystery, and humor in five books! Heather Brewer also made a series about Joss the Slayer. You should read it when you finish Vlad's series since it explains how Joss became a vampire Slayer.
I'm reading Divergent by Veronica Roth. A recent event that happened in the book was that a Erudite boy pushed the main character down in the hallway of school. She didn't care, shrugged, and got up. If that happened to me, I probably would have got mad and stood up for myself. But that is just what I would have done.
mvang5
I read that book in sixth grade.
nhutto2
That is a great book.
I’m reading Life of Pi by Yann Martel. I’m on page 67. So far an event that’s gone on is that everyone calls Pi pissing. Pi does the whole number for the equation of pie and from then on everyone called him Pi. I wouldn’t have handled it as good as Pi did I probably would have gotten my mom to change my name for me because I wouldn’t know what to do.
Cummings5-Great blog like always
Twithers5-Ok but not as good as Coco’s work harder next time
The book i am currently reading is "Through my Eyes" by Tim Tebow. I am currently as im writing on page 10. A recent event that happened in my book was Tim Tebow was at a Heisman Presentation and lost the Heisman to Sam Bradford. He then went to the bathroom to splash water on his face. I would've at least gave him a job well done shake or stayed there while he gave his speech and the congradulated him. That's what I would've done!
My book is Travel Team. Its by Mike Lupica and I am on page 48. So there is this kid named Danny. He plays basketball real good, but he is very short. He goes to his first middle school basketball tryouts. He gets a bit bullied cause he's short. He goes to the tryouts, and he wows everyone. Its cool
@Human,
Amazing
The book I am currently reading is Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margret Stohl. I,m on page 121 . In a recent event in my book ,Ethan showed a close family friend , Amma a locket he found with a mysterious new girl named Lena . Amma believes in dark spirits and voodoo , and came to the conclusion the locket was an evil item . She sealed up the locket in a leather pouch and forced Ethan to bury it where he and Lena found it . Ethan disobeyed her and hid it in a shoe box in his room . If that was me I would have listened to her and bury it .
@zbauer,
Good job
I am currently reading Adam of the Road. The page I am on 28 of this book. Adam of the Road is written by Elizabeth Gray. recently Adam's (the main character) father left and he has no idea where he is!!! if I was in this situation I would leave my home and search for my father!!!This is Adam of the Road.
human5..
I love that series!! I started in fifth grade and I still read them! I love the action, humor, and occasional romance that is packed into five books. I hope you enjoy it because you MUST read the extended series called The Heroes of Olympians. It goes deeper from the Percy Jackson series and a new plot the is more exciting but more thicker. I hope you have a fun time with it!
Nice @gparent5
kcarnes5...
do the kids bully him?
ccummings5...
Awesome job
@bmendoza5 : That was an amazing book .
@smwilliams2 : Twilight is one of my favorite series !
good very good indeed
@mvang
The book I am readingis Lost Time, by: Susan Schmid. I am on page 10.
In the book so far the main character's house is robbed. If I were in that situation I would have called the police and looked for evidence of what was stolen. I would also find any damage.
The book that I am curently reading is "The Smoky Corridor" by Chris Grabenstein, and I am on page5 since I just started. Recently the main character (Zack) in my book has just transfered to a new school, and right off the bat, he notice that it iss haunted because of a strange ability he has. And because the school is haunted, the photo of the man who built the school and was named after it (Horace P. Pettimore Middle School) keeps following him with his eyes and he is the only one who can see it. if I was in this sisuation, i would have done the same thing because Zack played it cool by not being scared of the ghost.
The book I am currently reading is called Betrayed. I am on page 29. It is the second book in the series. The event that recently happened was Zoey's mom, step-dad, and grandma visited her at the House of Night (her school). Her step-dad and principle got in a fight and him and her mom stormed out. If I was there I would have been happy to see them both go but Zoey didn't want her mom to go as they used to be close before her step-dad came into her life.
jwalker5
Sounds like an interesting book.
ssuskin5
I love that series! Very good
The book I am currently reading is The Running Dream. The author of my book is Wendelin Van Draanen. I am on page 10. A current event in my book was when Jessica is at the doctor and is getting her amputated leg examined.If I was put in a situation where I had my leg amputated I would most likely cry because I would not be able to use my leg again.This would also push me to do my best and comfort others who are going through the same thing I am going through.My morale would probably descrease if the doctor told me I had to get my leg cut off and might not be able to walk or run again.
The book I am currently reading is Between Shades of Grey by Ruta Sepetys. I am now on page 120. The event that is recently happening is Lina and her family has just arrived to a concentration camp. Her mother has been asked to work for the soldiers to translate for them and tell them if the people are talking bad about them. If I was in that situation I would not turn against my people I would simply refuse the job.
awilson6 Good post!
jlexley6 That book seems like it's good!
I am reading Inkspell by Cornelia
Funke. I'm currently on page 93. Recently, Meggie read Farid and herself into the Inkworld. I would have handled it exactly as they did. They were excited which I would have been too because the Inkworld is magical. Who wouldn't be excited by that?
@jeexley6 Good Blog that book sounds really good :)
@mlennon6 Lol Congrats on being the first poster. Good Blog as well.
@jexley6
You didn't post the author.
@wperkins6
Cool! Sounds good!
The book i am currently reading is Inkheart. Written and illustrated by author Cornelia Funke.Also i am currently on page 7.Even i just started there has been one event that i think will cahnge the book and character. What happened was that little meggie finds a mysterious man outside the window. Also when her dad sees him he gets all worried and brings the mysterious visitor in whos nbame is dustfinger.
@bacampbell5 and @iriver2 good job on post
your my favorite teacher :)
The book Iam currently reading is The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick. I am on page 114. The recent problem in this story is that Hugo is trying to make his own invention. He needs to get more gears to make it.The man who owns a toy store will not give it to him. So now he is trying to steal some so he can finish his invention. What I would do is not steal and just try to find my own.
LMiller2, good job :)
WDalluge, good job :)
I am reading Hide and Seek by Katy Grant. I am currently on page 75 and this book is amazing! A situation is when chase can either stay with his little cousin or go off all by him self to use the metal detectors. He decides to stay wih his cousin. If I was him i would do the same thing, stay with my cousin. I could not let her risk it and go off and get injured, that would crush me if she got severely hurt. She could maybe even die and i could not take that chance!
@mquinn6 Nice post man.
@wperkins6 Sounds like a swell book!
the book im reading is "Holes" by Louis Sachar.i am also on page 160. a recent event that has happened in my book is zero and Stanley (character's) left camp because they were tired of digging holes.they were sick of being fored to do hard labor which took almost all day. right now they are climbing a mountain to see if they can find water and food. if i were them i would have just finished the last three months of digging holes then left.
good job AsDavis2 and i loved it mlayne2
I am reading The Ranger's Apprentice. Book three The Ice Bound Land. I am on page 187. The two main characters have to escape from these viking like people. If I had to escape I would go at night with heavy rain and quietly.
MLennon6 Very detailed blog.
pblangor5 I read the same book.
@irivera2 I love The Clique series!
@DMcknight2 That sounds cool, and thank you i tried.
My book title is "I am a Seal Team Six Warrior" by Howard E Wasdin. I am on page 40 of 182. The first couple of chapters in the book covers Hell Week. The easiest of the 3 parts of SEAL training is when they have to hook arms and lay on the shore of the ocean at night in 40 degree water. They are allowed three hours to sleep per night, when they get up they have 10 minutes to eat then have to go in a hypobaric chamber. How would i handle this situation?If I was in this situation I would push through Hell Week until Sunday. Even though this is the hardest and most intense training in history, i would try my best to overcome every obstacle put before me since my wish is to become a seal.
I am on page 175 of Eldest by Christopher Paolini. Recently Eragon’s cousin, Roran, was sought out by the Ra’zac .The Ra’zac killed Roran’s father and Eragon’s uncle, Garrow. The Ra’zac were in search of a dragon egg which had hatched before they came and killed Garrow. The Ra’zac were trying to find Eragon. The Ra’zac attacked Carvahall, Roran and Eragon’s hometown, and Roran defended his home. I would have done the same as Roran and defended my home even if I had to kill.
i am reading a book called Skulduggery Pleasant:the faceless ones. Its By Derek Landy. i am on page 169. A recent event in my book is when skulduggery and his partner Valkyrie were trying to see a person named Bliss. no one will let them see Bliss so they break in and talk to him. If i were in that situation i would have walked away and left it all alone.
jjones6
cool book
mlennon6
nice ill try to read it
I am currently reading World War Z by Max Brooks. I am on page 137 out of 372. A current event that happened is one of the characters was running and got attacked by a zombie and was eaten alive. He later then was reanimated into a zombie. His best friend had to shoot him. I would have handled it by as soon as the zombies finished eating him i would have shot him in the head and bury him properly.
jjones6 great post
kcarnes 5 that book sounds good
I am currently reading The Mailbox by: Audrey Shafer on page 22. An event from my book is when Gabe comes home and finds his uncle Vernon dead covers him up with a blanket. Then is able to go to school the next day and return finding an anonymous note in the mailbox. I would have burst into tears and would have know what to do. I probably wouldn’t have gone to school; instead I would have gone to the police.
mlennon6 Good job!
jexley6 Sounds like a good book.
I am reading the book Sasquatch by: Roland Smith. I'm on page 49 out of the 188 page that are in this book. The last thing that happened in the book was that the main character Dylan's dad had volintire to go on an expadition to M.t Saint Helens to look for the legendary bigfoot. I would be angry at him for beiliving in a misticle creature. It would be sad to have a dad that beilives in a mith.
jjones6 that was a nice comment to kcarnes5.
mruvio6 that was a great comment.
I am currently reading Morpheus Road The Light by D.j. Machale and I am on page 43. One interesting event that recently occurred in my book would have to be blood splattering on the wall from a ball then disappearing. After the blood splattered, the main character, marsh, called his dad and when he walked in it was gone. If I was in a situation like this I would try to stay calm but I would also be curious. I would likely try to investigate the cause with some friends.
@rgatlin2
Nice book robby.
@Lmiller2
Interesting book Luke.
I'm reading The Clue of the Broken Locket by Carolyn Keene and i'm on page 51. One of the recent events in my book was when Nancy Drew and her friends were on this unstable old bridge while waiting to eat. When all of the sudden her friend Bess earring fell of in the shallow water. Nancy being the great friend she was bent over the bridge while having bess hold her feet, put her hand in the water trying to retrieve the earring. When this girl they had seen arguing with her fiance in the woods earlier came running across the bridge only for the bridge to fall. Leaving them drenched in water and mud. If I was in that moment I would be like "why me?" and probably just a little mad but knowing it was an accident.
@mlennon6 great comment
@dsmith5 nice details
I'm reading the boy in the striped pajamas by John Boyne i'm on page 30. Bruno moves to a diffrent house and looks threw his new window and sees what he thinks is a farm with children his age to play with. pblagor5 good post
dreynolds6 like that book
The book I am reading is Zit Face by Emily Howse. I’m currently on page 7. A recent event that happened was when Olivia finds a huge pimple on her TV perfect skin right before her audition for Wacky Water. On the way to her class, she bumps into her best friend Jenna Mahoney. As soon as Jenna sees Olivia, Jenna gives her, her lucky charm bracelet. In this situation, I would ask someone if they had a concealer for pimples and go straight to the bathroom and put some on.
Hrivera2
I read that book and saw the movie!
Rhale6
Nice blog!!
I am currently reading Lacrosse little brother of war. The author is Thomas Vennum a i am on page 74. well there is no situation really it is a history book on lacrosse. But a situation i just past was that the settlers found lacrosse from natives and banned them from it because they would have tournaments and the natives were considered pro.I would have still played it because it is such a big thing in there religion it is sacred to them.
Rhale6 great book and nice blog
ccummings5 great job ghs buddy
I am reading the Titans Curse by Rick Riordan. I am on page 33. The main character Percy had to choose whether to go to boarding school or not. He said that he'd go, and i would have said I didn't want to go.
dblair6
Good blog
nbahn5
Good blog
My book is Framed by Gordan Korman. I am on page 5. Recently the new principle has been making Griffin(main character) excercise in the morning. Griffin hates the excercise so he just ignores it and gets in to trouble. If that were me I would have just done it.
Dblair6: VERY good book my friend!
GRenfroe: Mike Lupica is a very good author.
Mike Lupica. Comeback Kids. Page 11. In this book the main character named Scott Perry was the new kid. The in new kid in school always gets picked on and never makes any friends. If I was the main character in this book I would try and make some friends. The way I would do that is to try and find some similar interests with my peers. And to stop people from picking on me I would become friends with the biggest kids in the school.
ssorgi5
Great blog, your really good at these.
dblair6
Great Job!
I am reading stranded by Jeff probst and currently I am on page 8. One events that's happened so far is that a family of four is stranded in the middle of the ocean during the biggest storm of the year. They hid in the safe room at the bottom of the boat. And I think that if I was there I would have done the same thing as them.
Tdcole6
Good job on your post.
Dblair6
Good post this week.
@Dblair6 good job
@Eyakel6 good job
i am reading alfered kropp by rick yancey . the last situation that happened in my book is then his uncle died if i was the charter i would have donr the same thing as him but different i would try to reaso with the killer then try to fight him but if all else failed curl in to a bal and cry
I am currently reading The Red Umbrella by Christina Diaz Gonzales, and I am on page 19. One situation that has currently happened is that Lucia notices army soldiers getting out of their trucks and kind of scan the beach, Lucia hid behind a cocoanut tree and watched them until they left for a few minutes. I on the other hand would have went to ask the army soldiers if something wrong is going on or if anything suspicious is going on , knowing nothing crazy normally happens in Puerto Mijan.
@ jphan2
Great post. I would have acted the same way(:
@sfreer2
You need more sentences. Check your capitalization (:
I'm reading Marley and Me by John Grogan and I'm on page 66. John and his wife tried to take Marley to an obedience school. of course, Marley decided to tackle the coach as John sat back and laughed. Honestly, If I were in control of the situation, I would encourage Marley to tackle her instead of try to take him off the woman like Jenny did. This book is really hilarious, and I suggest it to anyone who would want to read it.
@mlennon6 I read that book, too.
@dsmith Never read that book. It sounds good, though.
I am reading The Hunger Games by Susan Collins. I am on page# 104. There are many events that happens in this part of the book, but the main event is that Katniss and Peeta get picked for The Hunger Games. Originally Katniss sister gets picked at the reaping but Katniss volunteers for her. Katniss didn’t like having to leave her family since she is the hunter of the family and brings anything home that she can hunt. She wants to cry when she heads from district 12 to the capitol but she is good hiding her emotions. I would do the same by risking by life rather that my sister but I would end up crying.
I am reading Chomp by Carl Hiaasen. I am on page 70. Recently Derek Badger was chomped by an alligator. I would have never messed with an alligator in the first place. It was a dangerous situation. I would have stayed out of it's path.
yalverez6 thats a good book.
nluna6 that sounds scary.
I am reading the limit by Kristen London. I am on page 54 so far what has happened was the government was in serious debt. they had to get the money back so teenagers were taken into workhouses to work to pay off the government. matts family was specially chosen because they were poor.
