I am currently reading "Through My Eyes" by Tim Tebow. I am on page 64. The last book i read was "Chasing Tiger" and two similarities are they are both about sports and the both are about a famous athlete. two differences are one is about golf and one is about football. Also one is about Tiger Woods and the other is about Tim Tebow.
The book I am currently reading is the lightning thief. I am currently on page 280. The author of this book is Rick Riordan. The book I am comparing and contrasting to is A Day no Pigs will die. Some reason how they are alike is that they both are a mystery; you wouldn’t know what is going to happen next. Some reason how they are different is that a the lightning thief is about a boy trying to save his mother while a Day no Pigs will die is about how he grows up and become a man.
BCampbell5...
That last book you read sounds very intresting.
@mvang05
Do you like that book?
I am currently reading Clone Codes written by Patricia C. McKissak.
I am on page 112. The book I am comparing and contrasting is Dark Life. They are alike because they both are futeristic. They differ because the idea of the future is different. In Clone Codes the future is full of technology with cyborgs, clones, and robots. The idea of the future in Dark Life is underwater and they have less advanced materials.
I am currently reading Theodore kid lawyer Boone bY John Grisham.Also i am on page 25.The last book i read was Harry Potter Prisonar of Azkaban.One comparison is that the books both have a mystery essence to them.The second comparisons is that the too main characters of books have a bit the same personialty because they both nice to everyone and smart.One contrast is that for most of harry potter is tooking place in a magical world full of wizards and etc. while Theo. is taking place in modern times.The second contrast is that the topic of stories very different while theo talks about law and harry about facing evils of the world.
wperkins6 it was a very good post vut needed to deatails for each good job though.
I am currently "The Crossroads" by Chris Grabenstien and i'm on page 179. The last book i read was "To Kill a Mocking Bird". They are similar because they both have mystery. They are different because one is about ghosts and the other is about racism.

bcampbell5 Good job this week on your post.
The book I'm reading is Any Red-Blooded Girl by Maggie Bloom. I'm on page 132. The last book I read is Crossed by Ally Condie. Both of the books' protagonists are teenage girls. Also both books' setting is taken outdoors and in nature. They are different because the main character in Crossed, Cassia, is very strong and is a leader, in Any Red-Blooded Girl, Flora, is really shy. Also Crosed takes place in the future while Any Red-Blooded girl takes place in the present.
@Mvang05:
Good job
@BCampbell5:
You forgot to capitalize the beginning of your 3 sentence. :)
wperkins6...

I am currently reading The Gift by James Patterson. I am on page 7 and my last book was Through My Eyes with Tim Tebow. My book is Catching Fire. The auothor is Suzanne Collins and I am finished with the book. My old book was The Hunger Games. Two diffrences are that there are new characters and the characters have changed personalities. To similarities are that some of the characters are the same and the plot is the same.
I am currently reading The titan's curse. It is by Rick Riordan and I am about to start it. The book I read before was the sea of monsters. The two similarities are that they are written by the same author and the characters are the same. Two differences are that the characters have different missioons and they ride big birds instead of dlophins.
WDallgue2: good job
wperkins6: cool book
@bcampbell5
Good joob
@human5
Good job
I just started reading the Scorch Trials by James Dashner. I'm currently on page 10. The last book I read was the Mocking Jay by Suzanne Collins. How they are simlilar is they both are fighting for freedom. Also, they are both books in a series. How they are different is the Scorch Trials is a sequel and the Mocking Jay is the final book to the series. They're also different because in the Mocking Jay the main character is a girl while in the Scorch Trials the main character is a boy.
@human5
I recently read Catching Fire right before winter break.
@mvang05
I love that series! The author has two other series that are really good: the Kane Chronicals and the Heros of Olympus.
I am currently reading the Hunt for the Seventh by Christine Morton-Shaw and I am on page 112, and my last book is A Tale Dark & Grimm by: Adam Gwitz. To compare they both are creepy and scary and have the same meaning, which is mostly to keep you reading. To contrast the Hunt for the Seventh is a lot more scarier than A tale Dark & Grimm.
@opanchal5 good post!
@ irivera2 great job! (:
I am currently reading the book by Jeff Kenney. I have just finished the book with 215 pages in it. The book that i am reading is a comedy book its meant to entertain. the last book i read was about surviving in the woods. the book im reading is about a valentimes day dance.when the book that i have already read is about staying alive in the woods.

llambert6 that was a good book.
the book i am reading is The power of six by pittacus lore. i am currently on page 5. the last book i read was the titanic. in both of the books people die,also there are survivors. one book has a ship and the other doesnt,also one book is on land and the other is on water.
tnichola6
i think that book is cool
llambert6
i actually read those books before but it was a very long time ago
I have currently completed the book The gardener by S.A Bodeen. The similarities these book have are that they both focus on a main character trying to be a hero. Also, both stories have a supernatural Antagonist. Two differences that show the most in these two books are that the situation in both books are in different levels, in The Gardener, the situation is solved in a smooth way, in Daniel X, it has some what of a cliffhanger at the end. Another difference is that both stories have a different environment, The Gardener has a very eerie environment and Daniel X always has action.
@human5
cool, I read that book.
@mvang0
Great Book.
I have just finished my book chomp by Carl Hiaasen. The last book I read was mocking jay by Suzanne Collins. Both of these books are put in the wilderness. They are both also broadcasted on television. Some differences are that one main characters a boy and ones a girl. One is about a fight to the death and the other is a survival guide about the wild.
Cwalker5 great post
Bcambell5 that seems like a good book fantastic job
I just finished the hunger games by Suzanne Collins i am about to read the hobbit by J.J.R Tolkien. the books i am comparing are the hunger games and the maze runner. They both are about kids surviving and they both are murdering children for the pleasure of someone. They are different because one takes place in the future the other the present, also ones protagonist is a girl the other is a boy.

twithers5 great book my mom read it she said its a good one
bcambell5 how is it, it seems interesting
I just finished reading Hide & Seek by: Katy Grant. The last book I read was Found. It & the book I currently finished reading were alike because the main characters both had siblings. The main characters were both trying to figure something out. These two books were different because my last book had time travel in it. Also they had different genres.
dblair6 good job.
IRivera2 sounds like a good book.
I am finished reading schools out forever by james patterson.I will get a new book soon. I will compare and contrast schoos out forever to witch and wizard by james patterson. How they are the same is that in witch and wizard the girl wisty and in schools out forever max are both main characters with evil people trying to hurt them. They are diffrent because one can fly and the other has magic.
@Bcampbell5 nice post
@mvag i love that book
The book I am currently reading is The 13th reality, by James Dashner. I am on page 371. I am contrasting nothing, because I haven't read anything alike to this book.
@mvang5 I really want to read that book! It sounds interesting.
@bcampbell5 You seem like a person who would read something like that.
.
I just finished My Fair Godmother by: Janette Rallison. The book I am comparing is Secret, Lies, and Algebra by: Wendy Lichtman. Both books have two sisters that are the main character and the also can compare by meeting a crush in school. They are different because My Fair Godmother is not a true story but Secret, Lies, and Algebra is based on a true story. Another reason why they are different is Secret, Lies, and Algebra main character goes on a date with her crush but in My Fair Godmother she does not.
mruvio6
sounds like two great books

I am reading Among the Brave . This book is by Margaret Peterson Haddix. I am finished with the book. I am comparing this book to Ella Enchanted. 1 similarity about these books are that the main characters are trying to find someone. Ella was trying to find her Godmother and Trey is trying to find his friend Luke.Another similarity is that in both books the main character has a best friend or sidekick that has there back. 1 difference is that Ella Enchanted was a Fantasy and Magical book Among the brave is Mystery.Another difference is that in Among the brave The main character is the 3rd child in Ella Enchanted she is the only child until her father is remarried.

The book I'm reading right now is Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. I've finished reading this book. the book I'm comparing Mockingjay to is Catching Fire. Two similarities between the books is that Katniss goes back to her home in Victor's Village. Another similarity is that Katniss is fighting to survive. One difference is that there is new characters in this book (compared to the 2nd book of the series). Another difference is the setting is in District 13.
twithers5
I've read that book before.
mruvio6
Good blog.
I am reading True (…sort of) by Katherine Hannigan I am on page 5. The last book I read was the hunger games something similar about them is that in both books the main character is a girl. Another would be that they both are very brave! Something different would be there age Katherine is in middle school and Katniss is 17. Also Katherine is always getting in trouble and Katniss is usually not getting in trouble.
The book I am currently reading is “Varjak Paw” by Dave McKean and I am on page 21. The last book that I read was “The Old Man and the Sea.” Two reasons both books are similar is both main characters are males and both books have a male author. Two reasons they are different is that “Varjak Paw” is a story based around a cat and “The Old Man and the sea” is based around a old man. Another reason is that Varjak lives in a house with his owners and the old man lives alone in his house by a dock.
I am reading Malice by Chris Wooding. I am currently on page 26. I am using The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins to compare and contrast. One comparison is that both stories are very suspenseful. You are constantly wondering what is going to happen next, and it keeps you on the edge of your seat. Another comparison is that the story focuses around kids who are in danger of death. A contrast is that the ways the kids die are different. In Malice, a ritual is performed, while in The Hunger Games, they are forced to fight to the death. Finally, another contrast is that Malice takes place in the present, while The Hunger Games takes place in the future.
@BCampbell5 Good post
@WPerkins6 Good compares and contrasts
i am currently reading the book called when pigs fly and the auther is june rae wood and im currently on page 21 and the comparison is they are both non fiction and they are both over 200 pages. and the cantrast are they both have more than one main character. and they both have a narrator
I am currently reading Dairy of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days by Kinney and I am on page 37. @BCampbell5 good job
@grenfroe5 great job!
@mquinn6
great job!!!!
I am currently reading Ninth Grade Slays by Heather Brewer. My book has 278 pages and I am on page 25. One similarity from that book and the one that I read for my last project Eighth Grade Bites is that it is based on the same main character, Vladimir Todd. Another similarity is that in both books the vampire council want to hunt down Vlad so that he can pay for his dads crime of marring his mom. One difference is that in the first book he didn’t know about the vampire council or a lot of things about his dad. Another difference is that now in this book, Ninth Grade Slays, Vlad is a stronger vampire and he is practicing a lot of things eighth the help of his uncle Otis.
I'm currently reading Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. I am on page 23 out of 497. My last book was The Son of Neptune. The similarities are that they both are action genres and they both have two main characters. The differences are that The Son of Neptune is Mythological and the other has some realistic fiction in it.

IRivera2 good job Iria
I am currently reading A Fall of Water by Elizabeth Hunter. I am on page 112. The last book I read was A Tale Dark and Grimmby Adam Gidwitz. The two similarities are that they both have fantasy things contained and big mysterys. The two differences is that one is about vampires and the other is about Hansel, Gretel, witches, and Hell.
mvang05
I read both of those books and they are wonderful.
wperkins6
Both of those books sound very interesting.
I am currently reading "The Andromeda Strain" by Micheal Crichton. I am currently only on page 5. Although I have not read much, I can still tell some differences and similarities. One difference between "The Andromeda Strain" and "IQ" is that in "IQ" the characters personally know the president, while in "The Andromeda Strain" the characters do not seem to know the president. Another difference is the threat in "IQ" is terrorism, while the threat in "The Andromeda Strain" is disease. Both stories however, have huge threats of death. And in both stories the main characters, at least to some extent, work for the government.
jjones6
That's a good book.
mvang5
I read "The Lightning Thief" a few years ago. It was a good book.
my book that I am currently reading is crossed by ally Condle. and I am on page 15. the book that I am comparing is Matched by Ally Condle. some ways the are the same is that both stories have to do with the rules of society and the unique decisions that cassia has to make. But two ways that they are different is that in crossed so far its more about trying to find Ky then which guy she wants to be with. another is that the second book in the beginning is more mystery then the first book.
Bcampbell5
nice comparison on your blog.
Mvange5
do you like your current book? I hear that its really good.
The book I am currently reading is Sword of the Spirits. I have finished reading the book. the previous book I was reading is the mystery of Drear House. Two similarities are that they both focus mainly on 1 character, and they were both boys. Two differences are One is mystery. while the other is more adventurous.
nghamiltion2
Nice similarities
BCcampbel5
Great job!
The book i am currently reading is called pop by Gordon Korman. i am on page 34. i am compering a book called abducted. these books are alike because they both have to do with skill and timing and planning. there different because one is about being kidnapped and how a person would react in a real life situation. The other is about football and how if you put your mind to something you can succeed. abduction has kind a suspense feeling to it, and pop has a exited feeling to it.
jjones6
ive heard of that book is it good???
eyakel6
yu did a great job in that post it is very detailed
I am currently reading City of Bones by Cassandra Clare and I am currently on page 174. The last book i read was The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick. Two things that the had in common where their chronological text structure, and the 3rd person point of view. Things that they don't have in common are the genres. City of Bones is Fantasy, while Hugo Cabret is more Historical Fiction. Another thing that they don't have in common is the feel of the book. City of Bones is a romantic comedy, while Hugo Cabret is more of an unsettling book.
@mglover6
I read Pop aswell.
@mvang05
The Lightning Thief seems like a cool book. Is it the first in the series?
the book that I am currently reading is made in the USA by Billie Letts. I am currently on page 55. The last book I read was how Lamar's bad prank won a bubba sized trophy. The reason the books are similar is that the main characters moms died young. And the reason their different is one kid is travelling the other one isn't
@mvang that book sounds awsome
I am currently reading saving private Rhyn. I have just finished it. The book I am comparing it to is Alfred kropp. #1 saving private Ryhn is written in 3rd person were Alfred Kropp is in 1st person. #2 Alfred Kropp is fantasy and saving private Ryhn is realistic fiction/history.
the book that i am reading is chomp. the author is carl hiaasen. i am on page 20 and the book i am comparing and contrating is cracker the best dog in vietnam. to things that the book can compare are one is they both travel and both have pets. two different things are they live in a zoo and the other is in a war
The book I am currently reading is Lost And Found by Anne Schraff. The page number I am currently on is page 50. This book is really good so far this book and the book I read before this is similar because they both have problems and its always one person who is the main character. Both of the books get very interesting in the middle of the article. They books differ because the book I read before was called Someone To Love me and it was about a girl who was going through a lot with her mother and she just wanted her mother apart of her life again and the book I’m reading now is about a girl who was being followed by a stranger and she don’t know what to do.
Sfreer2 that sound like a good book
Lmiller2 good job
I am sure this post has touched all the internet visitors, its

I am reading The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. The book I read before The lightning thief was Battle of the Labyrinth by the same person. One comparison is that both involve Greek stuff. One difference is that some of the characters changed. I also finished Lightning Thief.
sedwards2
Good post
bcampbell5
Your book seems good
The book I am reading is Switched by Amanda Hocking I am on page 310. The last book I read was the short life of Bree Tanner. They are the same because they are both fantasy and in both books the main character has a power and they are both the same age. The two books are different because Bree tanner is alone and no one cares about her but in switched the main character Wendy is protected and is cared for. The short life of Bree tanner is a short book but Switched it a trilogy series.
IRivera2 good job on the blog
llambert6 sounds like a good book
I just finished Swindle by Gordon Korman and the Last book I read was Summer Ball by Mike Lupica. Swindle takes place in a town named Cedarville while Summer Ball takes place in Middletown,CT. Summer ball is all about basketball, and Swindle is about a baseball card. They both are based on two teenage boys. And these books are both a part of a series.
@ZBauer5 That book sounds good but it is too long for me.
@HUman5 nice book I couldn't finish it.
