The story I am currently reading is Diary of a Wimpy Kid Cabin Fever and the author of the story is Jeff Kinney and the page I am currently on is page 80. I think the author of the book I am currently reading researched unpopular middle school kids. The reason why I think the author might have searched that because Greg and the people he hang with aren’t that popular at the school. People don’t show them much respect and always end up humiliating them in front of the whole school. They always sit at a separate table from the other kids because not much people don’t want them sitting with them so they wouldn’t end up with a bad reputation.
ReplyDeleteI am reading Seeker by Arwen Elys and I am on page 413. I think that the writer had to research how the human body reacts to blunt objects hitting the head. She also probably had to study how simple guns work. I say that because in the story one of the main characters is a gunsmith and he talks about them a lot. He also probably studied the geographical stature of Ireland and Scotland.

I finished reading The Neptune challenge by Polly Holyoke last week. I think the author had to research about the sea creatures. Also she would had to study about weapons. The main characters have to survive in the ocean. They use weapons to protect themselves. While they head to the Atlantea they see lots of sea creatures, so she would of done lots of research of the living things in the ocean.

ReplyDeleteI am still currently reading Tomb Quest Book 1 Book of Death and am on pg.41. The author of my book is still Michael Northrop. I think Northrop researched a lot of ancient Egyptian terms and history. In the book there is a museum and in the museum lies an ancient Egyptian temple. The whole book is about Egyptian mythology.

The book I'm reading is "The Plague in the Mirror" by Deborah Noyes and I'm on page 11. My main character travels back in time to when people were dying from the plague in France because of a ghost. I think the author researched the affects of the plague, Florence, Italy in the 1300's, and lore on ghosts. Most people wouldn't know of the 1300's of the top of their head so the author would have to research that. Also the occurrence of two people looking the exact same in different time periods. I have yet gotten to the part where that is explained.

ReplyDeleteThe book I'm reading is, "The Sorcerer in the North," ("Ranger's Apprentice #5) by John Flanagan and I'm reading it on a Kindle so I'm 36% through it (I don't know the page number). Something the author would have researched before writing this book was medieval times and dress. In this book the main character, Will, is pretending to be a Jongler. A Jongler is like a jester, but doesn't serve the king. The whole book has a medieval feel to it, there is castles and kings and Ladies and Knights , along with servants.

ReplyDeleteI am currently reading The Martian and am on page 329 by Andy Weir. I think my author may have researched about Mars and it's characteristics before writing this. If he knows the facts about what he is writing about so he sounds smart and sophisticated. He probably researched about the terrain and the sand storms that happen there. When he wrote the book it had a lot of details so I think that he researched Mars a lot before he wrote the book.

I’m reading Legend by Marie Lu and I’m on page 111. I think for this book she may have had to research some survival skills for the main character who has to live with very little money. She may have also researched military training and equipment for the weapons and the training for the second main character. Also history of funerals and death because in one scene it mentions the history of why people where black and why in the story they now where white. Another thing she may have been researching is ways to commit crimes because the main character robs and steals lots to get by in life.

I think the author of my book researched all different kinds of horses because she named all the horses that could have been possibly named and I googled the types of horses and the names that I got from google were the names that had popped up. Also I think my author researched the different types of guns you’re supposed to use to kill animals for example say im killing a whale is a 50 caliber gun. That is something you would research. This relates to my novel because Julia killed the deer and had it for lunch and I feel this would be the type of thing you have to research so I think that they googled what to use for the certain type of animals. The name of my book by Jade is called Blood Red Horse and maybe that’s why they googled the names of the horses and the names of the guns that were used to kill the animals and made to use for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I am currently reading Pretty Ugly by Karyn Langhorne Folan and I am on page 32. I think the author of my book "Karyn" did research on my novel before she actually wrote it.She researched how teens react to being bullied and how it affects them as they get older. This relates to my novel because I can tell so far that this book is going to be about bullying and how it affects the person who is being picked on. Bullying affects society as a whole.

Some things I think she may have researched before hand are, how society would be if certin disasters were to occur. Also ideas perople have for soceiety on how to make it perfect and equal. I think this because in the giver the setting in a very strict town with homs that all look the same people who all act and dress the same and they all have to get shots so they think andsee the same and wont be able to remeber things that he peoplke in charge dont want them to remeber. Over all so far i am really enjoying this book and I cant't wait to read more.

I am reading Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson. I am on page 30. I believe that the author researched economics when he wrote the book. The main character is going to Las Vegas to make money. The way the author talks about the ways to make money and certain things with money it doesn't seem like he isn't guessing and about what hes talking about.

I think that my author probably looked up British fairy tales because Robinhood and his crew are apart of the story. Another British fairytale that he might have looked up could be Jack and the Beanstalk. Also they might have researched Greek fairytales because Hercules and the monsters that he fights are apart of the story. All of these fairytales in the story make the book better.

ReplyDeleteThe book that I am reading is Jungle of Bones by Ben Mikaelsen. I am on page 36. Something that the author of my book may have reasearched is World War II. I think that he researched World War II because the main character is traveling into Pupua New Guinea to search for a World War II bomber that crashed over the jungle years before. He may have even had to research Pupua New Guinea. This book is pretty good so far.

ReplyDeleteI am currently reading Michael Vey: Battle of the Ampere by Richard Paul Evans and I am currently on page 281. Something that my author would have researched before writing this book/series is electricity, conductors, etc. This is because in my book, the main characters have powers surrounding the idea of electricity. In the book, the main character, Michael ahs the power to shock people through conductors. He also has the power, when enhanced, to use magnetism. The other pain character in the book, Taylor, has the power to make people forget things or 'rebooting' by controlling their nerves.

ReplyDeleteThe book I am currently reading is The Last Apprentice: Rage of the Fallen by Joseph Delaney and I am on page 180. I think Joseph Delaney had to research Greek gods from old mythology. Also, he had to learn about witch powers in mythology. Plus, he had to research medieval weapons. He had to learn about the old 18-pounder cannon.

I think my author would have probably researched facts about slavery times. So he could make the details in the book seem realistic. Slavery research relates to the book because it’s a slave journal. So the author needs to know what life for the character would’ve been like.

My book is about a who's obsessed with making list of everything she does and everything she wants and has to do, she's so uptight but now she is going to live with her long lost father. My author most likely did some research on the pressure on a teenager to do things perfect, or how important a teenager feels their image is to everyone else.

ReplyDeleteMy book is Sit, Stay, Love by J.J Howard. I’m currently on page 43.I think J.J Howard researched puppies and dog shelters in order to write her novel. I think this because in the book Cecilia, the main character, works after school at a dog shelter. The dog shelter has 6 lab puppies and a few purebred dogs. I feel as though J.J would have researched how things run in a dog shelter.

My book is The Old Wilis Place by Mary Downing Hahn and I am on page 55.I think Mary Downing Hahn researched scary stories.I think that because she probably needed some ideas for the book.Mary Downing Hanh lives in a place where there are a lot of ghosts so thats where she got the idea to write ghost stories.The author is convinced that there are ghosts where she lives so she writes scary books.

The title of my book is Bone gap by Laura Ruby, and I am on page 75. Before my author wrote her book I think that she has to research about farm life. I also think that she had to research about a disability that doesn't let you recognize faces. These relate to my novel because the characters live in the middle of nowhere and the only things around them are farm life along with other farmers. The main character in the book is also disabled so that he cant recognize faces.

I recently finished the book, "An Abundance of Katherines" by John Green. I can come up with a few things Green would have had to have background knowledge on, or research. Some research that Green may have had to do before/during the process of writing his book could have possibly been about child prodigies, depression, and Archimedes' Principle. These topics researched are relevant to the story because the protagonist of the novel, Collin, was a depressed child prodigy. Collin was obsessed with the idea of Archimedes' "eureka!" moment, and longed to find one of his own.

I think my author could of researched a couple things, but a lot of the story is made up, like the place they live. But the author could of researched baseball related stuff, like hitting, fielding, etc. i think the author made up all of the other details including the names places, etc.

ReplyDeleteI am reading "Spy School" by Stuart Gibbs and I am on page 115. i think Gibbs most of researched some detention schools around London and America because in the book that talk about detention that have been abandon and they were changed into spy schools. I also think that the author researched some history about famous spy because he talks about the "history" behind the spy academies and only a couple people become "real spies. If the author researched those places, people and the history then all of that is every interesting things to know. Even if the author didn't then he can make anything believable.

I believe that the author researched something about Alcatraz, Al Capone and what life is like on The Rock. How the research of Alcatraz relates to the story is, Alcatraz is where the story takes place. How the research of Al Capone relates to the story is, Al Capone is a convict at Alcatraz. The reason that she might have researched how life is on Alcatraz is because, she may have never been to Alcatraz.

The book I am reading is The Legend of Drizzt : The Crystal Shard by R.A Salvatore and I am on page 239.I believe R.A Salvatore did research on dark elfs, life of a dwarf, and the way of a wizard. The dark elf relates to the story because the main character is a drow/ dark elf. With the life of a dwarf because Drizzt's best friend is a dwarf. With the way of a wizard it is because the main antagonist is a wizard.

ReplyDeleteI'm reading "Deep and Dark and Dangerous" by Mary Downing Hahn. The page I'm on at the moment is 67. The author must have researched how people change moods quickly. The characters throughout the book are laughing and playing one minute, the next they are calling each other names and starting fights. Mary Downing Hahn does a good job showing how the human emotions change within seconds.

ReplyDeleteI'm reading "Heat" by Mike Lupica and I'm on page 158. My author mike Lupica most likely searched up that has to relate to Majors league or Little League. This relates to my novel because my main character has a pitching arm that throws serious heat and is leading his team all the way to the Little League World Series. Something else he would try to research is the Philadelphia Stadium. It relates to my story because Michael who is the main character, wants to go there and see how it is one day.

ReplyDeleteThe book I'm reading is Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan and I'm on page 281. I think John and David had to research how depression can affect a teenage male. One of the Will Graysons is dealing with depression and has to take medication. I think the authors had to research what the side effects of taking and not taking his anti- depression meds would be. I also believe the authors had to think back to how they felt as teenage boys to help them write a convincing story. I believe they had to do some research on things that were popular at the time so the things mentioned in the story would be up to date with modern day crazes as well.

ReplyDeleteI am reading the book Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian by Rick Riordan and I am on page 92. I think Rick had to do a lot of research for this book and the 4 before it. My book is all about the Greek gods and creatures. Rick must have had to do lots of research on which gods he wanted for the demi-gods parents and what they actually do or did. And lets not forget about creatures. In this book alone their must have been 20 different monsters with odd names and odd forms.

ReplyDeleteI am reading 'The Power of Six' by Pittacus Lore and I am on page 167. I think the author had to research alien myths. He combines many different theory's on alien existence, including the evolution of humanoids evolving separate on another planet where some circumstances requires super-human abilities to form.He also takes a morphing quality from a series called Animorphs, which has aliens that can absorb the DNA of an animal they touch to later Morph into, with an animal named Bernie Kosar that can take the shape of any beast that it has ever seen. He weaves it all into an interesting story that places the characters on Earth, to save Lorien (Their planet) and Earth from the Mogadorians (which are a bunch of aliens that conquer bestial races to use them in an evil plot to control all extraordinary things in the galaxy) and then the Earthens (that's us) think the good guys are human terrorists and the whole thing turns into a complicated mess.

Al Capone Shines my Shoes was a really funny book that I really enjoyed.
I am currently reading a book called Rules by author Cynthia Lord and I am on page 57. I feel that my author may have researched autistic children because she had to know a good amount of knowledge being that the brother of Catherine is autistic. I feel that she either went through neglect with her experience as a child or she looked up what they go through because children are cared about in a way but Catherine is pretty much the mother in this case. I think she either based this off of her own life or she researched it. So far I have learned a lot from this book.

I'm reading "watch out Hollywood! More confessions of a so called middle child!" By Maria Lennon and I am currently on page 75. I think to research for my book the author had to really just be a middle child or research some. I am the oldest middle child (out of 4 kids) and I know it can be tough. I think that the author did an amazing job and really described the life of a middle child. I live through a lot of the same problems like being left out or not be old enough or young enough to do something like the main character.

I think the authors of my book researched how cancer affects a human’s body and also why people start to stutter. I think he researched how cancer affects a human’s body because Hakeem’s father has cancer and in the book it describes how his father is weak. The book also describes how his father’s cancers has come and go and how he couldn’t work anymore. Lastly I think the authors of the book researched why people start to stutter because Hakeem had a stuttering problem and it went away, but it starts up when he is mad or frustrated.

Something I think my author might of researched before he or she wrote this novel was details or evidence on how girls felt when they got their first zit on their face. Also how they might have reacted, and/or thought about it. Emily Housie might of researched how girls or woman might of thought about what other people would think of when they saw a big pimple/zit on their faces.

The book I am reading is Percy Jackson the battle of the labyrinth by Rick Riordan. I am on page 243. I think Rick Riordan had to research places in New York. I also think he had to research Greek Mythology. I think he had to research these things to make his descriptions more accurate,since it is based on Greek mythology and a lot of it happens in New York. He uses it in making it a better fiction novel.

ReplyDeleteI am reading Buck Wild by Hartley Stevens and on page 112. My book is about a military veteran named Jeremiah St. Cloud coming back to Florida's Cable Counties and his good friend gets arrested for a murder that was an accident. I believe the author did not need to research anything on the military to come up with the back story of Jeremiah because he served in the US Army. I know this because the author is my uncle. What I do believe he had to research is more about Florida's Cable Counties to get a little more detail for the book. Also, he may of researched some evidence that allows a murder to be an accident.

ReplyDeleteI am reading "The Power of Three: The Sight" by Erin Hunter, I am on page 128. Erin Hunter probably did research on wild cats and wild cat groups. He would had to understand how wild cats interact to write any of the "Warriors" books. He probably didn't have to do any research on what cats look like though because, cats are everywhere.

She also researched why they're so strict, and what they're most strict about.Or what teenagers get mad about the most. This is of course if she's not a teenage mother herself.

Obviously because this book is non-fiction, he would've needed timelines and historical references. It would have a broad research because history of Greeks is a wide topic.

I am reading the book, “The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and Other Clinical Tales” by Oliver Sacks and I am currently on page 52. This book consists of a selection of bizarre psychological and neurological case studies. Therefore, the author, who is a well renowned neurologist, must have had to conduct a lot of research in order to write this book. Neurologists have to use lots of research elements in their everyday life due to their job, especially when they’re dealing with patients who show symptoms of a rare or newly developed clinical diagnosis. Not only did the author have to research things in every single case included in the book, but he most likely also had to research different writing techniques since being an author/writer was not his first job and this was the first book he wrote.

My author may have researched poor families lives, because m character Zinkoff is broke and his family has to buy older broke cars to drive. He also had to research about mail mans because his dad works as a mail man. And my author also had to research on how to write a book about a loser who never notices it. And he would have also need to research about fear.

ReplyDeleteI am reading Scat by Carl Hiaasen and I am currently on page 125. The writer most of researched sorts of environments that are in Florida. Why I think that is because the story takes place in Florida. Even know if you had never been to Florida you still might know what kind of places they have, I mean it is a no brainer. But you can never be to careful so it would be smart to research it. Which is probably what Carl did.

My book that I am reading is called Heat by Mike Lupica and I am on page 64. My book is about baseball so the author of my book may have researched about baseball skills and the games vocabulary. Some of the vocab in baseball are innings, strike, ball, and home run. Other things the author may have researched is Bronx, New York and the baseball players on the New York Yankees. In Bronx, New York the center of the town has the Yankee Stadium and the players like the baseball fields at Macombs Dam Park in Bronx. The author must have done some research on the Yankee Pitcher Ricardo Gonzalez because he was Michael, who is the main character, favorite player on the Yankees team.

I think he researched these other books to help him understand the universe he was writing which is an action adventure book series.

I'm currently reading Divergent by Victoria Roth and I'm on page 375. My book is based off of what could be the future so the author might have looked up that. Also in this book people are separated based on there personality so she could've looked up different personality's. But its always smart to research before you do things so Victoria probably did. So far I'm really enjoying this book.

ReplyDeleteI have just finished reading "The Clockwork Three" by Matthew J. Kirby and there were 386 pages. If the author had to do some research to make this book, I'll say that the author had to do some research on clockwork. After all, this story does connect about how one of the characters makes a clockwork man which helps all three of the characters help each other to what they wish to achieve. The author must have had researched about how clocks work and how automatons were made to put in the detail in the book while the character creates the clocks. All these details are important to understand why the clockwork man is so important to this story, even when he only appears around the middle of the book. That's what the authors must've researched to write this book.

I am reading Dorothy must die by Danielle Paige. And I am on page 5, a topic that's mentioned in the story that the author most likely researched about is a drug addiction and how it effects others. Because in the story the mom has an drug addiction and she's very negative and abusive to the daughter. To actual know what that's like the author had to do some research on how it effects others. Another topic the author most likely searched up is the setting of Kansas,and how the people act and what the area usually look like. so she could paint the picture of the surrounds into words.

I am reading Alex Rider Crocodile Tears by Anthony Horowitz and I'm on page 247. I believed that the author must have researched stuff about Britain and M16. He gives a brief evidence that he knows what M16 has to do against villains. In chapter 9 M16 made it look like that Harrison Bullman was murdered when he wasn't. M16 even made it so that his credit cards expired. He was like and Invisible Man just because he threatened Alex Rider.

Im reading the book Dork Diaries by Rachel Russell and I am currently done with my book. I think the author researched how highschool worked these days to make teens like it and made it similar like highschool.

The book I am reading is "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" by J.K. Rowling and I am on page 150. Things my author had to research were the city of London and King's Crossing train station. In London Harry and Ron must go to school by train and for him to get on train he must go to King Crossings station. She also had to research Big Ben because Ron and Harry go past it in the story. This is what the author had to research about historical sites.

ReplyDeleteI am reading Hoot by Carl Hiaasen and I am on page 250. I think he had to do some research on the endangered owls that are the focus of the book. He gives lots of descriptions of their appearance such as their small size. He also must have researched their nesting behavior because one of the main themes of the book is how the nests would be destroyed if the pancake house is built on the plot of land where there are a lot of nests. He also had to research which types of animals in southern Florida are classified as endangered species.

ReplyDeleteI am currently reading “Counting by 7s” by Holly Goldberg Sloan and I’m on page 215. The book is about a girl named Willow whose parents get killed in a car accident. She ends up in the adoption system. She later gets adopted but ends up in a group home and things of that sort. The author might have researched the adoption system. She might have looked up things like group homes and/or adoption places to see how an orphan kid’s life would be.

ReplyDeleteI have read Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs and I am currently finished with the book. I believe that the Author researched what life was like in the British orphanages back in the early half of the 1900’s to describe what life was like in Miss Peregrine’s home. When Jacob went to the children’s home in Chapter 6, he was astounded at how everything looked nice and proper and orderly than how he looked at it back at his time. He also researched a little bit about the strange thing that mucky peat bogs contain in them, like how he found it to preserve life back in Chapter 5. He mostly made the story off of ideas and his personal experiences, as well as (obviously) the photographs he has collected before writing the book, but it was definitely nice that the author went to make the real bits as accurate as possible.

The book im currently is Sword Art Online volume 10 alzination running im currently on page 68. i beleive that the auther of this book looked into mmorpg ( mass multiplayer online role playing game) and you reasearch in vr gaming ( virtual reality) and even sci-fi and fantasy to give the effect of laser-guns, fairies, and magic.

ReplyDeleteI am currently reading 39 Clues by Rick Roidan and I am on the 20th page. Something I believe the author researched was famous artifacts and antiques. I believe he researched that because every book has a stolen or misplaced valuable item. In this book a very expensive sword was stolen and Dan wanted to get it for the reward. The author would need to research this so he could know what to make his book about.

The book I’m reading is Flawless by Sara Shepard and I’m on page 76. Some research the author of my book might have done would to read about the actual town where it takes place. Another thing would be to read about weird stalking cases because the book mainly focuses on the group of girls being stalked by “A”. The last thing I think the author would have researched would be how to make a book very suspenseful because the whole book keeps you on the edge of your seat. That’s what kind of research I think the author did.

ReplyDeleteThe book I am currently reading is The Fifth Wave by Rick Yancey and I’m on page 317. I feel like the author could of researched different diseases that characters have. In the story, there is a wave where some people get diseases, that kills them. He also could have researched the different locations in the story.one of the main characters named Cassie walks to Chicago from her home town, which he probably had to look u the walking distance and the home town. Those are things he could have researched for the book.

ReplyDeleteSome things that I think the author, James Patterson had to research is the paradox. For example there is a paradox called the ship of Theseus and this paradox talks about if you have lets say a car and you start replacing the car ‘s parts unti you have replaced the whole car with other parts so dose that mean the car is still the original car. Lets say that you built another car whit the peacese you replaced. is the car with the replaced peaces the original car? Or is it the one with the other car with the original peaces the original one?

My author also could have researched life without love and interactions. In my book it is a future where everything is done electronically. People don't usually interact with each other face to face.

ReplyDeleteThe current book i am reading is Tomb Quest and they did do research on the tombs back in the day so he wrote a book on it and published it.A tomb is an enclosed space for the repository of the remains of the dead. Traditionally tombs have been located in caves, underground, or in structures designed specifically for the purpose of containing the remains of deceased human beings and, often, their possessions, loved ones, or, as at the tomb known as `The Great Death Pit' at the city of Ur, one's servants.

The Book that I am currently reading is The Scorch Trials by James Dashner. The research the author had to do was on the maze runner because this was the second book in the series and she had to know what happened in the last book to connect it. Another thing the author had to research on storms and the cycle because Thomas and his friends were attacked by sparks of lightning. Those are the things the author had to research and so far the book is pretty good. I'm currently on page 90.

The book I was reading is named,"this world we live in" by Susan Beth Pfeffer and I have already finished the book. Now I think the author of this book did research on a number of things before writing this novel. First off, an asteroid hits the moon pelting in towards Earth greatly changing climate. Now with climate being so changed now numerous things happen like volcano eruptions, intense long cold winters along with ash clouds from volcanoes covering the sky increasing the cold even more without sunlight, plants are dying, and so much more like constant rain that can cause flooding in some areas. This is not simply imagination, it is done by the work of research.

While the book I just finished did not have any research done on its' content (At least I think so) the book "Magnus Chace, Book one The sword of summer" has a lot of historic value that probably took many hours of researching to find, in fact I was wanting to learn more about Norse mythology and this book taught me so much. All of Rick Riordian's books really have taught me so much about many myths and legends.

Some of the specific things that he may have looked up is space travel and the amount of time that it takes to travel in space. The way that this relates to my book is that a major section of the book is based around space and travel in it.

ReplyDeleteI am reading “Spirit Animals” by Maggie Stiefvater. I am currently on page 184. Before writing the book I think that the author may have researched medieval times. I say this because a lot of the setting has to do with the kids, in castles. Also for weapons they use swords and axes, instead of using guns. That why I think she may researched medieval times.

i finished reading a series of unfortunate events the author was Lemony Snicket. i think my author researched how could he describe such horrible events that could possibly go on in these childrens life and what details he could put it in. the reason i say this is because in the childrens life in the book they go through such miserable things and their all on their own facing them.

ReplyDeleteThe name of my book is Nazi Hunters and the author is Neal Bacomb and I've finished the book. My author acually did a load of research to make this book. Considering that my book is non-fiction he has to have done tons of reasearch. He had to have traveled to worid to get his info. He talked to Holocaust survivers and other people related to WWII. He reasearched information for his book for years before he acuoly published it.

I Am Reading To Kill A Mockingbird, by Harper Lee, I'm currently on page 99.
ReplyDeleteHarper Lee had to do a lot of research,although the book is fiction, the book includes a lot of details of how it was during the late 1900's. The book includes a specific location,maycomb county,Alabama.Which verify that she had to find and research this location. The book is also very detailed on how the life was for the county and how the government was during that time period. These facts show how the life was from multiple races, and multiple types of people.

I am currently reading The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau and I am on page 164. Joelle might have researched thing such as types of challenges to test different parts of someone’s personality. The tests are designed to figure out who will be a good future leader and who will move onto the university. She might have also researched types of weapons. In the last stage of testing the students are given a choice of weapons to travel all the way back to the testing center from their designated drop off spots.

The book I’m currently reading is called “Unity” by Oliver Bowden and I’m on page 56. I think the author had to research about the French Revolution because the whole setting is taking place at that time. He would have to research famous people around that time and what they did. He would also have to research the riots and things that were taking place during this revolution. The reason why is because in this book there is lots of bias and people wanted freedom. Also a lot of places that are in France and in great detail what they looked like at the time.
