Please tell me about the protagonist and the antagonist in your book. Give examples from the book that let us know which character is the protagonist and which is the antagonist.
Do you identify more with the protagonist or the antagonist?

Blog #8 Due: Monday 10/24/11

We just learned about abstract nouns and how they help you determine the theme in a text.
For this week's blog entry, tell us one of the themes of your independent reading book and then turn it into a theme statement.
If you need help, use the graphic organizer we used to analyze the theme of the video clips from, "My So Called Life." You can also ask yourself  "What did I(or the character) learn?"

Then tell us one SPECIFIC thing you really DON'T like about your book and why.
Remember that your comments should always be at least 5-7 sentences, insightful, and include support from your book.
