For this week's blog, let's see things from your main character's perspective.
Write a journal entry as if it were your main characters. Make sure that this entry shows us the character's personality as well as any major conflict. It should be 5-7 sentences long. Also, include the title and author of the book and the page you are currently on.
Remember to comment at least twice for full credit.
The book i am currently reading is The Hunger Games. I just volunteer to be in the hunger games. It was the not my best idea but I had to. Right now they are bringing me on this train to the capital. I hope everything is gonna be alright. Our main industry is coal mining so they had me in this weird fire dress. I hope things go well.
ReplyDeleteI am on page 96 Wolves of the Beyond:Lone Wolf by Kathryn Lasky. I have not seen Thunderheart since that day in the winter when she was taking her cold sleep. Thunderheart was my mother even though she was a bear and I am a wolf.She rescued me after my true mother left me to die. I believe Thunderheart has gone to the Outermost, a place she has once spoken of.I encountered a mountain lion in the Outermost. After I killed it two wolves came up to me, to challenge me for the kill. I killed one of the wolves and saw the remaining wolf run off with the dead wolf. As the wolf disappeared into the bushes I heard ripping of flesh and swallowing, like the live wolf was eating the dead one.

Yet we dont know what route to take we can pass through the mines of Moria or go over the misty mountains. plus today we were visited by crebain birds that are spies for the great eye.

ReplyDeleteI am reading Fire by James Peterson. I am on page 30. Will: I'm going going crazy. My sister is on the verge of death, and I've been running with her on my back from the police for hours. I can tell The One is definitively trying to kill me and my sister now. He's put up posters everywhere, luckily some little girl showed me a basement where i could hide with my sister, until she recovers. The family in the basement is starving and I have to go out and find them food and stuff for the holiday. Then I realize I've got magic powers and create whatever i want, so i make a feast.

I am reading the book Lost in the River of Grass written by Ginny Rorby. I am currently on page 175. Sarah: I hate the everglades. Every step of the way is more pain and suffering. I'm hugry, tired, and thirsty. You would think after almost a week here I would be used to the terrible mosquitos and a boy a just met. I am just ready to go home.

I am reading Malice by Chris Wooding and I am on page 373. Seth: I can't believe Malice is real! Luke got transported here! He was right, it's real, and now I'm trapped here. I met a guy named Justin and he is a bit stern, but a nice guy. He took me to gather food called swill. It is disgusting but it's the only thing we have to eat around here. I just hope I can survive here...

I am reading Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. I am on page 216 out of 496. A man was punishing my friend with a whip. I could to watch, the end of the whip was made of metal, so every time he got hit there was more and more blood. I knew that if I didn't do anything that he could get killed. So I jumped in the way of the whip and all i felt was a pain. It was so intense it felt like someone put a freezing metal pipe on my face, so cold that it would make boiling water cold instantly. Then it started to burn like lava, that is when everything started getting blurry. I could also feel the my whole right side of my face swelling up then I looked up and I saw the my pull the whip back another time and it came towards me and everything went black.

I am currently reading The Lord of the Rings. I am on page 126. Hello my name is Frodo and I am currently carrying the most powerful thing to destroy it. It started when Bilbo found the ring. Then he got too attached and left it to me. Now it's my mission to not wear it unless an absolute emergency and carry it to the volcano where it was made and destroy it. At least I have Sam and Gandalf to help me through it.

I am currently reading Escaping the Giant Wave by: Peg Kehret. I am on page 53. My dad has a business trip to attend over the summer on a cruise ship that my mom will be attending as well. My sister and I will be staying back at the hotel. I’m so excited to stay there it is the grand opening and they have a huge pool. Darren the bully of the school parents’ work with my parents, this vacation should be fun as long as I stay away from Darren.

Im reading scar by Carl Hiaasen. I am currently on page 355. I am almost done. Character journal : I have been waiting and waiting. Hours turned into days and days turned into weeks. No reply from my dad. I start to thinking maybe he is dead or maybe he is hurt. Mom says he is ok. I still think negatively and I know my mind shouldn't be on this situation. I should be focused on the fire case.

I am reading Sent by: Margaret Peterson currently on page 100. I just ate the most disgusting food of my life; I wish I could be back at home eating my favorite food. I’m terrified on the inside. I don’t show it as much as I am for my sister’s sake. Sitting here wondering if we’ll ever get to go home keeps racing through my head. Are those men going to come back? Will they kill us? I can’t take this no more I wish I would have never gone to that stupid thing!

These visions im havin, and the nightmares, i can really eexplain them. i see dumbledoor and malfoy with snape. i can hear snape yelling at malfoy to do it. and next thing i knew i saw dumbledoor on the ground dead. draco had killed him.

I am currently reading Elemental by Anthony John and I am on page 23. It was just like all the other days, everyone seemed happy to do their part, well except for me. I disliked their humor for me having no Element. That's what they always end up talking about either way...how I am the only one without the element. Well today wasn't as bad as the others considering the others. Though, I still think that guardians daughter talks way to much instead of doing her job.

I am currently reading Inkspell by Cornelia Funke and I am on page 255. We just entered the Inkworld after I read the page. I wonder if Mo,Resa, and Elinor have noticed that I am missing. We have run into many of Dustfinger's friends and they have been very nice to us. The other day we went to meet the Prince with some I Dustfinger's friends. I hope Mo, Resa, and Elinor come into the Inkworld soon, I miss them.

This could be my way out!

I went to Emily's house and cried my eyes out soon I was making Oreo skyscrapers and it was late. I could care less if Jane worried about where I was afterall she did steal my picture perfect boyfriend. Within an hour I went home and my mom and dad were on the couch and they were all questioning me.

ReplyDeleteI've been to so many foster homes I've lost track. But the two last ones have been by far the worst. My current foster mother, could easily be my favorite. If, of course, it wasnt for the diagusting 'health' foods she gives me. That's why I was out this morning, sneaking off to buy a Twinkie. Although, i never got to eat my favorite snack--i came across a bag. Full of twenty dollar bills. My next plan is to 'try' and find the owner--and if nobody claims, the money's mine, and i'll find my long lost sister, Starr, no matter how long it takes.

As of right now I am on a train and I just met this boy name Peeta and we are learning all about the dos and don’ts of our adventure waiting for us. But later on we had to go to this place and I was on fire, I wasn’t really excited about that but sometimes you have to go with the flow.

I am reding the Hardy boys. I am on page 98. I found a red wig in my friends garage a couple days later after his car was stolen.before his car was stolen we watched a maniac fly down the road and crash. when his car got stolen we had to go to every dealership to find his car. My father is now getting in on the case.

I believe that Mr. Mayherne did not murder Miss French but he has no one to approve that he went back to his wife that night. I must find out, I am his attorney, I just hope he is telling the truth and I hope that he did not kill that poor, innocent, and nice elderly lady.

the book i was reading was called forged by fire by sharon draper. I have not seen my mother since the fire and I started to live with my aunt. now its been five years since then and she shows up on my birthday with a little girl named angle who suppose to be my little sister. I was filled with anger because she had left me to die from when i was three now shes talking about taking me to live with her, angel, and the man who says he's angel daddy. this whole day is ruined by her apperence i wish she will just leave.

ReplyDeleteHoops by Walter Myers and im on page 62. My main character is Lonnie Jackson. He is a small 7 th grader who started out from nothing but now plays basketball for the YMCA. Journal; Today's practice went very well. Coach Cal put me at point guard and i scored at least 5 times in srimmage. I was on fire. I got home and my Mom made a huge dinner. It was a Good day.
