Blog #14 Due: Monday 12/17/12

For this weeks question I want you to think about who's Point-of-View your book is being told from. Look at page 41 in your Binder if you need a refresher on Point-of-View.

List what Point-of-View your book is being told from. Give an example that illustrates the character or narrator that is telling your story. Remember to include your book title, author, and current page number. Your response must be at least 5 sentences. Also, comment on at least 2 other postings by Monday!

  70. I have just finished the book Daniel X by James Paterson. I believe the book is written in a 1st person point of view. This is because in the whole story, the main character is telling the story as he goes along. A good example of this in the story is when he says," Why have we come back, I asked." Also, very often, Daniel asks the reader a question.

You can tell it was wrriten on the 3rd person because the book uses words like "he" "she" and "they.""As he scanned the field." That is a line in the book that shows how it is 3rd person. My book is written in the 3rd person because the narrator does not speak.
