It relates to my own life, because one of my family members is autistic but they don’t live with me I Gainesville. Its good to read this book because now I know what he has to go threw with kids teasing him all of the time and what his parents have to go threw with dealing with their son being autistic. This is a great book so far and I hope somebody else reads it so they can enjoy it as much as I have.

  9. I'm on page 270 in my book, "The Lost Hero" by Rick Riordan. A connection between my life and this book is that the girl, Piper, has special memories with her family that she misses. This is because she doesn't live where she used to anymore. I have the same problem. I don't live on Long Island anymore, and so all the memories of family time in New York can never happen again.

  25. The book I am currently reading is Secrets, Lies, and Algebra by Wendy Lichtman. Tess the main character loves math, it is her favorite subject, until she starts Algebra. Math happens to be my favorite subject as well because there is only one right answer. Now in algebra there is such thing as DNE a.k.a. does not exist, now she is mad and so am I. The reason for this is that you can pick from the answer your teacher taught you or “DNE.”

I am reading The Chosen by Liz Braswell. I am on page 553 (Chapter 4)
The connection I have with this book is the main character loves her mother very much and so do I. Chloe King is a cat person and I like cats. She is surrounded by good people and so am I. She likes helping people which I also try to do. Both of us like to hang around funny people.

  141. I am currently reading "A Corner of the Universe" by Ann M. Martin. I'm on page 149. The connections I have with my book is that she goes to the circus with her family and I've gone to the circus with my family. Also she goes to the library and gets books and I will go to the library to get books. The main character, Hattie, also has an uncle that she gets to spend time with and I have an uncle that I spend time with.

  144. The book I am currently reading is Interworld by Neil Gaiman and Micheal Reaves. So far I am on page 219. One relation I have to this book is that the main character is the same age as me, 13, making it easier to put myself into the first person experience. Also the book deals with having a lot of friends you can rely on making it easier to understand the book. But the largest connection I have with the book is that one of the two main settings of he book is going to school being a normal kid.

  145. The book I’m reading is Ida B by Katherine Hannigan and I am on page 52. Our connection is that we both love getting work done to go outside. Ida B loves going outside to play, draw, and talk to trees. That’s why she has absolutely no patience when it comes to chores and school work (she’s homeschooled). When I get home I usually finish my homework first and then go outside to ride my go cart or four-wheeler. Summer is way too hot to stay out for more than an hour so I normally ride for about an hour then I check the mail then go inside.

  148. I am reading "R.L Stine The Firt Horror. I am curently on page 63. There isn't much I can relate this book to my life. A connection I could make is that in this book they move to a strange house. And none of the children like it. I have moved to a house that I didn't like. It felt weird living there and it didn't feel like home. Then after a while I learned to like it unlike the characters in this book. This is the only connection I can make due to the fact that it is based on super natural action.

But she is really trying to go to this school that is in Mississippi it’s called prestigious dogwood academy. And that’s what I’m trying to do go to this school called Lawton so I can get my credits up for high school so me and Patrice is both on the same path. Hopefully we both get to go to the schools we are trying to go to but Patrice has to do a lot to get to that school.

  166. I am reading Wizards of the Game by David Lubar. I am currently on page 76. The connection I made was that the main character is all into this game with his friends and that is how I am with Xbox. He knows all the statistics and strategies, which is how my friends and I are. We all get on at a certain time like Mercer meets up with his friends at a certain time, and we play. In Mercer’s game he has big tournaments with his friends and all my friends do the same. We all play and it never gets boring.

  172. The book that I’m reading is called The Old Man and the Sea
by Ernest Hemingway and I am on page 41.
The connection between my book and my life is that us both face
Hardships that is hard to overcome. Like in the book the man had a
Hard time fishing and couldn’t catch a thing while everyone else can
And the only food that he was eating was the food that boy brought over
And the hardship that I was facing is the sight of my mother in jail.
