I decided to pick one of my favorite songs from when I was in middle school. I decided to go with "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls. It was either that or a Hanson song (google them if you want a good laugh).

To me this song has several themes. One could be insecurity in love, based on the line "I don't want the world to see me" and "I just want you to know who I am." The writer seems as if he loves someone but is afraid she will not love him back. Unconditional Love could also be a theme based on the lines "I'd give up forever to see you" and "All I can breath is your life." This lets us know that the writer would do anything for the one he loves.
I like the song because you can feel the emotion and hurt. The song is real and is not fake, you can tell the lyrics truly come from the writers heart.

My favorite song is Broken Hearted Girl by Beyonce. I think the theme to this song is that no matter how hard life is the one person that you love in life will always be first! I like this song, because it is an amzing song with deep thoughts and feelings about the guy she loves the most! Its like she will give her life up, just to be with him!I also love this song because many times i feel like this when I really like someone! I always go out of my self to make sure everything goes just right!This song also teaches you that love many times can be very painful when the person you love, doesn't love you rught back!

This is one of my favorite songs, Born this way by Lady Gaga. I really like the song because you can be a super star no matter what! The theme would be don't be mad at what you are because you are born the way you are and nothing can change that. It can really show how she doesn't care that she wears crazy clothes or looks crazy, it just matters that you are a superstar on the inside.

The theme of this song would be about how someone can be your best friend one minute, then forget about you later, like nothing ever happened. I like this song because I like how descriptive it is, and it expresses the musicians feelings. This song is complicated in the sense that, it tells you what he would do for this someone. Its also good because it has different verses, its not too repetitive. Also it has a really interesting rhythm to it.

I love this song because it's something that everyone goes through in life, and eventually learns how to cope with the situation and how to get over it a devastating heartbreak. The theme of the song could be that true love can really effect a person's mind. In other words "After loving someone for so long, it's hard to become friends with that person after the relationship hs ended." I love all Trey Songz' songs in general because he's a very talented artist and his songs are about things that many people go through. Such as a heartbreak, and in this song he's letting people know that he is just everyone else and that even though he's famous, he has gotten his heartbroken too.

"Firework" by Katy Perry is my favorite song. The theme of this song is live life to the fullest. It also says to not care what everyone thinks of you. Show everyone who you are, and show them that you are stronger then they think. This song also shows that no one is perfect. This song is my favorite because sometimes I feel like I should do something that I love, but I'm worried that other people will think different. This songs shows me that you should do it even though other people might think your strange. In the video it has a larger girl not wanting to swim with everyone else. When she takes her clothes off and swims she shows that she is going to do what she enjoys. There is also someone who has a disease, when he walks outside, he shows everyone that he is stronger than anybody thinks he is. I love this song and I love the music video. Jar is my favorite song because the theme is about love. She is looking for her love and she doesn’t want to "hurt" them. The theme of this song would be the bond between a father and his daughter. It could also be many other things, but to me this is the most important. This is my favorite song because my Dad and I used to listen to the song and he would sometimes sing along. He also used to read the little book to me sometimes. He used to say it was our song, and even though he hasn't talked about it recently I still believe that it is and always will be. At the wedding where he married my stepmom, he and I danced to Butterfly Kisses. At the time I was only six and not very tall he picked me up and we danced. I will always remember that time and this song.

I don't feel like everything is going right in the world. I don't have enough power, as a 13 year old student, to change anything, though. All I can do is sit back and hope for change. The theme of the song is that they have finnaly made it big, and are famous now. I really like this song because all my favorite rappers are in it! This is one of the songs i listen to before my football games.

To me this song's theme is that any obstacle in your life can be overcame. I like this song because it is inspiring and doesn't degrade anyone. Most songs today are degrading women and that is not good music. Music should make you feel good about yourself not making you think you are someone's tool. This song really make me feel good when I listen to it and makes me think that I am the World's Greatest.
