This week I want to know about the main character in your book. What is he or she like? Describe his/her personality. Are they stubborn, snobby, compassionate, positive, etc.

My book is Begging for change. The author is Sharon G. Flake. The main character is Raspberry. She is dealing with her mom in the hospital. Raspberry seems like a nice girl and she is positive. She is positive because she still has to go to school and face everybody asking her questions about her mom being in the hospital. I am currently on page 53. I am going to be reading like crazy though to get this book done.
ReplyDeleteMy book is Uglies. The author is Scott Westerfeild. The main character is Tally, and she is a 16 year old girl who has to make a huge choice. This choice is between becoming pretty or staying with your friends as a runaway. These problems change her point of view to what used to be nice and pathetic to now tough and a hard worker. She is at a runaway camp right now called the Smoke. Where she is doing hand cracking labor and trying to fit in, and not be picked out as a spy. This changed the way she looks at things. I am currently on page 270, and so far this book is amazing, I recommend it!

There are actually two main characters but my favorite is Seth because he is a shadow charmer and shadow charmers have cool powers. He is pretty brave for his age and he's kind of stubborn because he's always doing something to help when he isn't allowed. In the book he is grounded at the time and he sneeks off from the manor to Grunhold (where centuars live and stole their unicorn horn so they could get into Wyrmroost. My book is "Fablehaven" "Secrets of the Dragon Sanctuary", by Brandon Mull, and I'm done with the book.

My book is called Leap Day. I just recently started it. The author is Wendy Mass.I am on page 41. In my book the main character is a girl named Josie. The book I am reading is Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. The author is J.K. Rowling and I am currently on page 271, almost done! Harry Potter is the main character and he is very brave, confident, and passionate for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. For example, Harry hears voices that no one else can hear, but he follows them anyways.

She is an orphan who loves to create art.She never really stays in one place for very long until she mets Josie who sees something in Hollis most people just over looked before...her heart of gold. She is going through a hard time at the moment since she just found a wounded dog laying on the rocks outsde her house. She had to take him to the vet and so far his recovery is not going so well. Emily is very positive and thoughtful. I think she's positive since she keeps saying "He wil be fine and then he can live with us and i can do dog stuff with him like playing fetch and taking him on long walks." She is very thoughtful because she didnt have to take him to the vet and she didnt even have to save him from the rocks. I am currently on page 94 and i have a feeling with how good the book is i will finish very soon!

I am reading a book called snatched. The author is Pete Hautman and Mary Logue. Alicia and Roni is the main character. There is a mystery going on that i dont now yet, Alicia was on her knees bleading somehow i dont know yet and cops are investigating, and know new reporters are aloud to know anything. In school there was a reporter name Roni attacked Alicia and told her to tell her what happen but she wouldn't, so she got grounded and have to apologize to her. Stuff is getting crazy and intence, i cant wait to find out what will happen and is looking forward to the book. I am on page 43.

ReplyDeleteMy book is Found. The author of the book is Margaret Peterson Haddix. The min character in the story is Jonah. He is a 13 year old 7th grade student. He know's he's been adopted. One day he got a letter in the mail saying: "You Are One Of The Missing." A day or two later his friend gets the sme one. His friend just found out after getting that letter that he's adopted. The characters are good friends. Jonah is a nice kid, but wishes he knew why his birth parents didn't want him. Chip is upset that his parents never told him that he was adopted.

My book I am reading is Water For Elephants. The author is Sara Gruen. I just started this book a few day ago and im only on page 40.
ReplyDeleteThe main character is named Jacob Jankowski. The book starts with Jacob very old in a nursing home. In the nursing home Jacob is really grumpy and hates living in the home. He often describes that all he wants in the world is either corn or an apple instead of the nasty food the nursing home serves to him. So far this book is really good an I would recommend it to anyone!

She is stubborn, because she is trying to find a way to break the spell on her and she wants to get back at the witch. She is also positive though because even though faced with the challenge of being old, she tries to live a normal life. I am currently on page 145, and I really enjoy this book.

My book is TheLastSong, its by Nicholas Sparks. The main character in my book is Ronnie -short for Victoria. Her personality is very dull. She doesnt like much, doesnt care for much and shows no effort. She is most definatly not positive, Ronnie likes to think of the negatives and see everything upside down as though she doesnt want to see the right way. Ronnie then gets changed in the story by a guy she falls in love with. Im currently on page 185.

I am reading a book called "Keeping the Moon". The author is Sarah Dessen. I am on page 100! I really like this book! The main character is a fifteen-year-old girl named Colie Sparks! Her mother is Kiki Sparks a very famous exercise instructor! In this book she is going around the world teaching classes while Colie is stuck with her aunt Mira over the summer. Colie and her mother were really fat and then her mom started eating healthy and lost a lot of weight and so has Colie. Colie is a shy person that gets made fun of a lot. She has a lip ring and highlights of different colors in her hair. She is a really nice girl but doesn't look like it. In the book a lot of people make fun of her because she is fat, she is Kiki Sparks’s kid, or she has a lip ring. When Colie got to the town were her aunt lives two people made fun of her or asked her if the lip ring hurt. Mira's son and a girl that lives across the street asked her and made fun of her. I really like this book and I can't wait to finish it!

My book is Rules of Attraction. The author is Simmone Elkeles. The main characters are Carlos and Kiara. Carlos is exactly like how his older brother used to be: Juvenile delinquent, he's in a gang, and he's a thug. Kiara is the total opposite of Carlos. Kiara is the nicest girl in school, always gets good grades, and she always follows the rules. I am currently on page 56. I would definately recommend this book to anyone who likes drama/romance.

My book is Twilight. The author is Stephenie Meyer. I am currently on page 348. The main character is Bella Swan. Bella is a exstremly clumbsy person , who comes off to be very brave to Edward and his family simply because she is willing to risk her life just to be with Edward everyday. Bella is also considered very weird to herself and most others, She is now living with her father in Forks,Washington which is very different from her former home with her mom in Phoneix. She is somewhat like a danger magnetic as Edward says "If there is danger within 10 miles it will find her." which is proven to be true because she was almost hit by a classmate's van until Edward saved her. Also she was almost attacked by 4 boys during her trip to Port Angelous when she wondered away from her two friends Jessica and Angela until Edward...appeared and saved her. So pretty much he has to constantly be with her to keep her safe. Bella is a nice person though she also has a very positive additude about things and she is definitly not selfish because she came to Forks a place that she does not like simply so her mother could be happy and move around with her new husband. To conclude I really love this book and I kind of want to see the movie now...which I was never intrested in before.

My book is Into the Wild. the author is Sarah Beth Durst. The main character is Julie. She is a very unusual child because her mom and her moms friends are from the wild and not just any wild. The wild is a plant that holds fair tales. Her mother is Rapanzel and her father she never knew because he died getting everyone out of the wild. So when Julie is mad at her mom and wishes a wish even though it wasnt because of Julies wish the wild grows and sucks all the fairy tale people back in. it is up to Julie and her brother Puss in Boots if he ever comes back from the wild because he wants to meet another talking cat in the wild that is right for him. I am on page 130. I love this book it is so good.

My books title is "The Swiss Family Robinson". The book was retold by a man named Johann David Wyss. There's a whole family ofmain characters, but the main one is the father. He really doesn't have a name it's even father or darling. He always has a positive attitude, even in bad times. Like when the boat was sinking, he persuaded everyone that everybody was fine. Father is also a very good leader, when the family became maroned on the island he was able to help and teach everybody how to do certain things. I'm currently on page 43.

The book that i am reading is someone to love me.The author is Anne schraff.The page that i am on is 113 chapter 8.My character personality is insecure.Cindy gibson is insecure because she has noone in her life to tell her how much she means to them or how nice she looks from day to day.An example of that is when raffie picks on cindy about her looks "are you sure she's your mother?" or when raffie tells her things like "your nothing like your momma." page 7 chapter one.thee are the things that makes cindy insecure.

My main characters name is named Holly and she is very stubborn! I think she is very stubborn because she has lived in many differnt homes and won't put up with peoples mouths, I also think she can be emotional because no one belevies her and won't listen to her so she doesn't feel loves for example her foster parents think she does drugs when she tries to tell them she doesn't!

The title of my book is November Blues. The author of this book is Sharon M. Draper. I am currently on page 21, but trust i am going to finish this book. The main character is November. She suffers a grief of her former boy friend Joshs' death. To add on to that she is pregnant.. with his baby! She is only sixteen! I believe that she is stouborn person. I think this because after Joshs' death repoters were in her face constantly she would try her best to ignore them. She once responded to a reporter saying "no i am angry that you're asking me all these dumb questions!"

In my book Diary of a Wimpy Kid #3, (page 100) the main character is Greg. Greg is an indoors person. I say this because it's summer and he does nothing. He just stays home and plays video games in the dark. He is also very selfish, even though he doesn't mean to be. In the book, he talks about having a glass eye so he can cheat on tests without the teacher knowing.

He is the most well known detective in Tokyo japan. when most people meet them there surprised to find a 17 year old boy. He was in an orphanage ever since he was born.He helps put down bad guys and that's what makes him cool.
the character that was in my book was brittany. she was popular and perfect in school but at home she wasnt. her sister is disabled and her parents expect that brittany will be flawless and perfect where ever she goes. the other character is alex. he was in a gang and is latino. he was stuck up and misunderstood. they both were.

He doesn't like doing anything, like when his Grandmother told him that they were going to an easter egg hunt he sat in the car and wouldn't get out. He said he didn't want to be there even though his dad wanted him to. He can be nice and fun but most of the time he is very lazy. I am on page 77 in this book.

Knowing this Ronnie has this big attitude towards her dad because her mom and him got a divorce. She's not looking forward to spending time with her dad. Her mother thinks it would be good on their relationship between her dad and her and also keep her out of trouble since she did get arrested for shoplifting. She's kind of the "Gothic" type and also lost in her our life. She's very smart and musical talented, but she choses to make stupid choices. I'm currently on page 84 and Ronnie can be positive, but negative depending on her attitude.
